Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Review

Was only in the bar to visit a friend. The live music was awesome. The bartenders were not the best though.

When you are booking it s not free they hold your credit card they charge you right away not letting you to pay later when you arrived for early check in or check out . And they won t let you to pay with cash and it s only credit card not letting you to pay hafe with credit card and cash together to help save money . Please change the he policy with paying for cash and credit card if you want too

One of my main reason I got an ocean side corner room was to enjoy the sunrise with a couple cups of coffee with my wife. Sunrise was 6:30am the day we stay. The Keurig coffee machine in the room malfunctioned. I called concierge - no answer, room service - no answer, finally housekeeping answer so I requested a new machine. Needless to say sunrise came and no coffee so I went down to the coffee shop and purchased two cups. Upon my return to the room a security guard carrying a Keurig was calling someone trying to figure out where he was going.

I had to turn off the ceiling fan in our room in order to sleep since it was making noise. This was reported to the front desk when I checked out. Hope they reported so the next guest can enjoy their evening.

I was disappointment the License to Chill and the JWB restaurant were closed. This was my first time to Margaritaville. If I would have known everything I would have enjoy that Margaritaville was closed I would have use my Mariott rewards and stay further up the boardwalk.

The front desk did credit me the resort fee and explaining to me that the web site said they were closed. OK

This place is cool, multiple pools and restaurants, chill atmosphere. Definitely more fun here than miami beach itself. I was surprised how nice and upscale it was. Definitely recommend :-)

starting with Joshua at the front desk and every other person that helped us, we could not be more thrilled. this hotel is our new getaway place for staycation. the room was perfect, the amenities were great. everyone great at the hotel and beah area. had a perfect time...

Place was very nice. Front lobby is ver pretty. Pools were great and the entertainment. A lot to do for the kids. The rooms were the disappointment. For the price you are paying , rooms should be nicer. They were just a simple hotel room. Great location on the beach and boardwalk.

Fun place, craft beers, great burgers and outdoor seating with an ocean breeze.

The entire team was amazing, from the valet attendants to the front desk and room service. Customer service goes a long way. I will definitely will be back.

The 2 bedroom suite was huge, clean and very comfortable.
The Manager Will P was awesome and checked on us throughout our stay making sure we were happy and taken care of. The pool servers Kyle, Gina and Luna were nice, attentive and awesome also!

Huge menu, good service
Having visited Peru last year, we were looking for ceviche. On a Monday evening we were seated immediately. The waiter helped us with the large menu (which were very frayed and need replacing). We had a glass of delicious Peruvian white wine. Ordered the sampler of ceviche mixto. Also had a special with mixed seafood with salmon on top. I...

Service was a little slow but thats to be expected on a beach. Had a wonderful time.

View and drinks were excellent. Waiter and hostess were also very nice and friendly. Bathrooms could be a wee bit bigger but the quality of food and hospitality made up for it. Prices were very reasonable for the area.

Had lunch at the Landshark Bar and Grill. Food was tasty, server was lovely, view was fantastic!

The room and resort was very clean. The staff at the pools and front desk were very friendly and helpful. The food we had there was also very good.

We visit Margaritaville Hollywood 3-4 times a year and each time we leave, we start planning our next visit. It is an exceptional property only outclassed by the staff. The rooms are well appointed, the food is on point, and the location is perfect.

Alejandro Santos continues to impress us. He is a great Ambassador for your Brand. Chloe at the recreation desk makes everyone feel welcomed. Met Ally and Shelly at the Lone Palm Pool this time and both did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. I also met a gentleman at JWB, but did not catch his name. Tall man, proud Michigan grad. Perhaps he was the GM or MOD for that night. Just a great guy. Would love for you to send me his name so I can extend my thanks to him personally.

We visited four restaurants (five, if you include Floridays), with JWB being exceptional. I will say that if there is any opportunity for improvement it is on the speed of service at the other restaurants (Margaritaville, Landshark, and 5 O'Clock). We're loyal, so it won't change our habits, but the food service (except for Lone Palm and Floridays) was noticeably slow, especially being greeted in a prompt manner.

My final comment is that I would love for you all to build a loyalty club. I think it would even increase our trips to your property.

My wife and I had a relaxing vacation. The resort was fun. The staff was very respectful. The food was excellent>

Staff and catering was excellent, I enjoyed the event we had there.

Blah. Lets start in the parking garage. Ugly and for a fairly new building the parking garage looks dated and nasty. The exterior has no character whosoever. Inside lobby is straight out of a cookie cutter blueprint hotel lobby. Rude staff and the place is dirty. Not a nice place, I do not recommend. For something meant to revitalize the area, its a run down cheap place unfortunatly. Maybe knock it down and build a Ritz Carlton with a proper parking garage and proper architecture that benefits the area. This looks like something from the Atlantic City New Jersey boardwalk(not a nice place if you have ever been there recently). Tacky

Had a fantastic time there. Lisa gave excellent customer service. The live band was amazing and interactive with the customers. I will be returning.

Everything was wonderful! We love the fun filled atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was awesome. We enjoyed our anniversary weekend with R&R.

The personnel was excellent!!. The food was fair. In the room, one sink had the stopper stuck closed..one bath towel was dirty. No safety rail in shower. Don't think the room was worth the money...

we been in this location before. such good experience, highly recommend it for family, as cleaning service good but it was annoying of the lady keep coming back to clean the room while we told her we are not checking out yet but I guess she don't understand English maybe. even when was our time to check out I want to my room to take out my bags- I saw her entering the room and moving my bags on side which I think not professional at all even if the hotel busy. food was good option in front of resort for burger place highly recommend it. the hotel food is good but little over pricey even the room service food. we stayed in south side this time which was beautiful as you see the both side of bay and ocean also if you are fun of sunset. really good for family not for couple... love the decoration they had for the chorismite time its beautiful thank you for everything

Beautiful property. Guests needn t worry about a thing pool towels daily and nice umbrella/chair service on the beach. Spacious rooms with a great balcony. Really clean. Hidden costs to consider 32$ / day resort fee & 30$ / day to self park. Uber rides are plentiful in the area absolutely no need for a car. The food is subpar and most of the restaurants serve the same thing. Drinks are pricey. Liquor/beer store right across the street to make your own drinks. Overall, a great time and would recommend for a great bea h getaway.

Awesome place! The Hotel is impressive and the restaurants. There is also live music sponsored by the resort on the Hollywood beach boardwalk. This is perfect place for low key vacation

Need to maintain your property better, many flaws were apparent our last visit.

Its margaritaville, of course beait's beautiful. We enjoyed, pools are awesome.

Not enough water to drink for 5 of us. had to wait on bicycle loan. Like the fact we could casual dress for dinner. We had a red tide which kept us from the beach both our y yoga and group lead bike classes were cancelled. Bands were fun at evening

Everything was fine, price point just seems expensive for what you get. I have gotten a lot more value for my money out of other resort packages.

I just went to visit Margaritaville in Hollywood and I have to say, it's a nicely layedout and a fun environment.

Excellent place to unwind! It's always 5 o'clock somewhere!!!!

Our bed sagged on one side. We asked them to fix it or change our room. After multiple trips to the front desk, they finally switched out the broken box spring. I couldn t leave the balcony door open to hear the ocean, because the music coming from the bar was so loud (I was on the 12th floor).

Fanstastic hotel, right on the broadwalk full of beachfront restaurants and stores. The resort itself is also fantastic, stunning views and if you are a Jimmy Buffet Fan, you will enjoy a multitude of popular phrases from his songs scattered throughout the hotel. Such as: The Floridays hotdog stand, which features an Own Damn Fault hotdog as well as the Hula Girl.

We stayed in the amazing suite on the end of the building. The room was immaculate in both the decor and cleanliness. Balloons were delivered for my birthday. We tried out the restaurant and bars, all with great service and food/drinks. The beach staff was wonder setting up chairs and umbrellas and we loved the drink service. Will be back soon! Would love a frequent guest program.

I had dinner there with my mom. Everything was tasty and the mixed drinks were fun. The price is what you would expect for a beachside resturant, but it was a nice treat.

We live in Miami and this has been an annual summer vacation for us . We love everything about staying here !

I didn't stay here but visited twice on my vacation. Beautiful place with friendly employees...would recommend anyone to stop by and enjoy the Jimmy Buffet style.

Staff was very attentive and helpful all around.

We stayed at the hotel as a family and had a great experience. Overall the service was great and we had a very enjoyable time. The rooms were very updated and everything was clean in the rooms as well as around the resort. A highlight to the trip was the flow rider right by the hotel. It was in a great location right in between the pool and beach, on the boardwalk. Two employees, Richy and Sarah S., who were working the flow rider were extra helpful and did a great job teaching everyone who tried the flow rider. Whether they had done it before or were hoping to improve their skills both of them were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Hollywood.

Bands play on the stage every evening of the week. It's got open air seating. You can sit on the sand and still hear the music. The vibe is family friendly and you can dance if you want. It's fun!

The hotel public areas were very well maintained and clean. There is alot of people that pass through the lobby and it was never dirty. No beach sand!
Rooms are bright and beautiful.
The only issue we had was service in some of the restaurants was slow. We sat at the table for quite awhile before someone acknowledging us. This happened at Margaritaville Restaurant and 5 OClock Somewhere.
Tia at the front desk was very helpful with room requests. I also saw her working with other guests and she was always smiling and friendly to the guests. Making everyone feel welcome.

The rooms were one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. The easy access to the multiple pools and the beach/boardwalk is super convenient.

This was our third year in a row here and for the most part, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves once again. The staff was extra friendly, I don't remember literally every staff member that we passed or met, saying "hi, how are you today?"! Sherri was great at check in, super friendly and fun; great way to start our vacation. Only a couple things come to mind for some constructive criticism. 1) After our 1st night, I requested an extra pillow but never got one (my lower back is bad so I have a pillow between my legs, one at my side, and of course one under my head), so I made due with the small throw pillow that was in the chairs. 2) how late our room was getting cleaned. On our first full day we came back to our room at 3:30 to shower and get cleaned up for dinner (we had been at the beach since 9:00am) but it wasn't cleaned yet so we sat at the adult pool until 4:15. When we got there it still wasn't cleaned so I tracked down the cleaning lady in the hall and she promptly came and cleaned our room while we sat on the balcony. For the next 5 mornings, I called the cleaning service to request an early cleaning, each day we came back at about the same time and sometimes it was cleaned and sometimes it wasn't so I'm now sure if requesting the early cleaning helped any. It would be nice to have an app that you could check to see if your room is cleaned or even receive a text telling you so. Being that we got up early for the beach each day, it was nice to come back and have a clean room around 3:00pm so that we could get cleaned up for the evening. Other than those 2 things, everything was great! I do wish that your prizes on food at your restaurants were a little bit more reasonable ($5 for an 8 oz glass of orange juice seems a bit much along with many of the other menu items) but there are plenty of other places to eat for those that don't want to drop so much money for each meal. We had a great time and hope to make it 4 years in a row next year!

It was a really nice spot. I went there to see the band Steel Town Religion and they allowed my daughter to get on the stage for her birthday. It was awesome.

Rooms were nice, Stand up karaoke was great. Food in bars nearby was good aswell, apart from that not too much to do around except go to pool and walk along the boardwalk, beach wasn't the nicest apart from that great!

Drink prices were very expensive. I would like to see better deals on drinks.

Well designed place.. lots of options for lunch and cocktails. Best waiter, Alex, is at the Margaritaville restaurant. Delightful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful guy.

We went to the land shark bar. Good views of the entertainment in the stage area. Only one bathroom wit a single toilet. Not the same food as the margarittaville restaurant which is 25 feet away. We had to order different food than we usually get because of that. No drink specials and no food specials despite every other restaurant on the boardwalk having them. Drinks and food are pretty over priced for the area.

What's NOT to love?!? Jimmy Buffett, great food, incredible views, classy, clean, fun! If you sit outside get a view near the Flomaster water surfing machine. It's a hoot! Gorgeous guys instructing people, people falling and wiping out, kids having a blast, starting out at the ocean.... It's perfection. Best addition to South Florida/Hollywood Beach in decades! The 5'oclock Somewhere bar across the street on the intercostal is perfect for catching a great view of sunset but get there early. You won't be the only person with this idea. Have fun!!!

So disappointed!!! This was our big bucket list vacation. So we even last minute added an extra day. The hotel is not cheap but we figured we would splurge because of the service we would receive.

We started with lunch on 1/21 at landshark. So excited to grab a drink and food and overlook the ocean. It took 20 minutes for a server to come and take our order. So disappointed!

But one experience was not going to spoil our trip. This was a trip at a big resort with supposed excellent service so we could understand one off event.

We went to JWB for dinner and LOVED every minute. Perfect service, delicious food, we felt totally pampered-exactly what we expected from the resort.

Then we decided to pop up to Margaritaville bar. We sat at the bar, and waited. Waited. Waited. It became sadly comical. I waved at the bartender, and she ignored us. We waited 30 minutes. Yep 30 minutes to get a drink, while sitting at the bar. So w e ordered 2 to take to our room. The server took my credit card and gave me back a different card. (We we re notified the next morning that the font desk had my card. ).

We notified the front desk about the bad service, and since this was a special trip for us, a true bucket list trip. The front desk staff said they would look into the issues we had and call us later with a resolution.

We have not yet heard from your staff.

We have Wednesday and Thursday morning to still be at the hotel. Tomorrow we are trying the spa. I hope the service is good.

After waiting and planning this special trip, we are so disappointed. We wouldn t recommend the hotel to friends, as the service was so disappointing. And after bringing it to your staff, nothing was done.

Seriously, a small token of appreciation would have gone a long way.

We have tomorrow 1/23 and we check out 1/24. I sincerely hope we enjoy better, more consistent service as we try to enjoy our holiday.
