So disappointed!!! This was our big bucket list va...

So disappointed!!! This was our big bucket list vacation. So we even last minute added an extra day. The hotel is not cheap but we figured we would splurge because of the service we would receive.

We started with lunch on 1/21 at landshark. So excited to grab a drink and food and overlook the ocean. It took 20 minutes for a server to come and take our order. So disappointed!

But one experience was not going to spoil our trip. This was a trip at a big resort with supposed excellent service so we could understand one off event.

We went to JWB for dinner and LOVED every minute. Perfect service, delicious food, we felt totally pampered-exactly what we expected from the resort.

Then we decided to pop up to Margaritaville bar. We sat at the bar, and waited. Waited. Waited. It became sadly comical. I waved at the bartender, and she ignored us. We waited 30 minutes. Yep 30 minutes to get a drink, while sitting at the bar. So w e ordered 2 to take to our room. The server took my credit card and gave me back a different card. (We we re notified the next morning that the font desk had my card. ).

We notified the front desk about the bad service, and since this was a special trip for us, a true bucket list trip. The front desk staff said they would look into the issues we had and call us later with a resolution.

We have not yet heard from your staff.

We have Wednesday and Thursday morning to still be at the hotel. Tomorrow we are trying the spa. I hope the service is good.

After waiting and planning this special trip, we are so disappointed. We wouldn t recommend the hotel to friends, as the service was so disappointing. And after bringing it to your staff, nothing was done.

Seriously, a small token of appreciation would have gone a long way.

We have tomorrow 1/23 and we check out 1/24. I sincerely hope we enjoy better, more consistent service as we try to enjoy our holiday.
