Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Review

This place is great, the food and desert we're delicious. Go with enough time so you can walk the strip see live music and enjoy the beach.

Difficult sometimes to get a beach spot. Very ! crowded. The sargassum covering the beach was disappointing.
Service was generally impeccable with many friendly , smiling faces .
Comfy beds , quiet rooms .
Good food .

The waterfall was fun to swim under and the view from the rooftop pool was great .
The paintings in the hallways were beautiful .

Service was not very good and the food was sub-par at best. It was also freezing in the building. Atmosphere was nice though

Very clean, comfy beds. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. Live entertainment. Activities all day long. Oh and the volcano nachos are amazing!

This is a beautiful resort with a beautiful view and great pool!

First off, this resort was really nice! Clean and the staff were fantastic! My friends and I spent a few days recently a girls weekend. We were very disappointed with the turn down service. Two days in a row our room was not ready by 5PM. 5PM! Even after calling and asking for our room to be cleaned it wasnt done timely. For the amount of money we paid (600+) this was absolutely atrocious customer service. We were all very disappointed at this aspect considering how expensive it was to stay there. It was unfortunate considering all the other aspects of the hotel were really nice.

The carpet in our room was in serious need of cleaning. The hotel did remove the resort fee because of this. Adam Scott was very helpful.

We collected names of people that made our experience very enjoyable. They are Christopher Riley, Julie, Rochelle, and Michelle Smith. Two people that stood out above all others for our experience were Tiffany D. and Carlos. They went above and beyond to ensure that our food, drinks, and the service we received was top notch. These two went to the trouble of asking our names and remembering them.

I loved everything about this hotel! It was fun and inviting with amazing staff! The only complaint was the weather, but we still made the best of it and enjoyed the spa services as well! Overall great experience!

Food was great and the service was good. Nice looking location as well.

We were disappointed in the service. We made a couple room requests upon booking and none were met and it seemed no attempt was made to even try to meet them. We were there for check in early and were told we were #1 and 2 to get rooms but we were nowhere near each other and the room right next to us in 1404 was empty for several nights. We were there for 5 nights and were supposed to receive a freshen up visit...we had to request this in the evening of our 3rd day when the service was not done. They finally came in our 4th day and only took out trash and brought extra towels that we had already requested. We also asked for more coffee which we did not receive and could have used more toilet paper. It's a very nice place and we did enjoy our stay but these issues were disappointing especially with no reduction in the daily resort fee.

We did enjoy having chairs on the beach and all of the available restaurants and bars. Your staff at the desk, concierge, bellman, and restaurants were all very nice and helpful.

frequent guest discount rate would be really beneficial to both guest and owner

I paid a lot of money and feel i should have had our room cleaned and it happened 1 day out of 4 and our floor had sand on it the whole time. Not what i expect paying what i did. Our toliet was running the whole time and we had to keep fixing it. No blackout shades in the master. No coffee mugs were ever replaced i was just disappointed i feel my stay was only worth 200 a night.

Real Deal... Awesome place, Good people, Good Food and Perfect place in Hollywood beach to stay. We spent three days and two nights and I can honestly say it was one of the best beach resort experiences I ve ever had. Outdoor theatre, Live music and best food around.. No looking further, we are Visiting again... FOR SURE!!

14 $ for a lousy pour of grande Marnier. Really!!! Band OK but not dancible or appropriate to theme of bar. Don't think I'll bring guests there again.

I'm sure it's a great place to stay by the looks of it. They have beautiful pool and surf ride.

First time visiting Margaritaville restaurant and I was not impressed. The service was very slow and not friendly, they took forever to set a table after 45minutes we asked if we could sit by the bar tables and they said "oh, yeah" but never offered that sitting in the first place. After the food took about another 35minutes to arrive they had forgotten two of the orders, needless to say I won't be coming back anytime soon it is really disappointing since I was really looking forward to coming here and the place and the music is awesome but they need to train their staff better...

Margarita whooo? You would think this is a intoxicated party all day kinda place but it isn't ... and I am so glad we made that choice .
It ended up being a perfect space for a corporate training , every day after our meetings we would head out for afternoon team building activities by the beach which is just a 2 minute walk from the lobby. A quick shower and dinner nearby or at Fort Lauderdale .
Tip: They have free bikes for guests to explore the broadwalk . And they keep the beach area quite nicely, attendants were super responsive with a great vibe.
I saw a lot of families having a great time without the driving hassless to get to the beach, ice cream shops or for a late nite bite .
Overall it surprised us beyond expectations . Resort, yeahh and with so many amenities that made me rethink of why I had not paid attention to this area before .
Ohhh and the view from the pool ...fantastic!

Our biggest issue was with the Margaritaville restaurant. There were not enough waiters on staff for such a busy presidents day weekend. There were plenty of empty tables outside yet still a wait because of this issue. (we ate there 3 times for breakfast and twice for dinner.) Additionally, the calling/text system did not work, we waited well over what we should have, I was trying to be patient, but finally went in to see what was going on and they said, oh we couldn't get you, your table was ready awhile ago...grr..frustrating! This happened twice, Finally, we just never left the immediate check in area due to not trusting the texting/call system. (It wasn't just us there was this issue with other people as well.) We stayed three nights and the maid service only came in once. They did not clean the bathroom, nor empty any of the garbage cans. They only replaced towels and made the bed. (We were out of the room from about 10 am to 4 pm each day, and we took the sign off the door so there wasn't any reason to miss the second day service.) I also feel like the front desk needs more than 2 people during the morning hours which at every busy. We still like the resort and will probably return, hoping the service is better next time. It's expensive to stay there so at that price you expect top notch service.

Upscale casual resort on the Hollywood broadwalk. Family friendly. Fun atmosphere

Wow. We spend all day trying to get here, and we re over an hour past checkin time and no room. One would think a resort like this could make rooms available or clean them within a normal amount of time. Awful start to this vacation- day 1 and I can already tell you I m not coming back.
