Maple Mazda Review

I have never written any reviews before, but Maple Mazda truly deserves to be my first one. Had such a wonderful experience with my salesperson Jennifer, who is extremely knowlegable about their products. Not like others who would just simply recommend the most expensive model to me all the time, she was really professional, took everyhing I told her into consideration, and literally spent an hour with me patiently to answer all my questions, compare the models/prices and pick the car that best fit my needs economically and performance-wise. She also helped me tremendously to negotiate a great deal with her manager. The whole process took only 4 days from the time I walked into the store to I got my brand new car delivered to me (and YES, she delivered it to me from Vaughan to Oshawa! HUGE THANKS). I will definitely recommend her to anyone I know who is looking for a car. Shout out to Jennifer.

I am a repeat customer and recently got another Mazda 3- that's what happens when you are impressed with the car and the professional team! A few years ago, I needed to get my own car for articling. Thanks to Paul Joseph, I ended up getting my first Mazda 3. I was so delighted with the car and the whole experience thanks to Paul. He's a great guy- personable, professional and attentive. I was so impressed with my experience with Paul that when it was time to get a new car, I came back to see him. He was on a well-deserved vacation, so Albert Fernandez ended up helping me instead. Just like the amazing experience with Paul, Albert too was wonderful to deal with. He's also a great guy who really cares about the clients and their needs. Thanks to his help, I ended up being the happy owner of another Mazda 3. However, when I needed to get something serviced, Paul Joseph once again came through in an efficient and timely manner. Anybody considering taking their car to the service department here: The service department here does not know the difference between conventional oil and synthetic oil. I called in to ask about synthetic oil change, and was told it would be $80. I made appointment for synthetic oil change. After the work was done I asked what oil they put in the car, they didn't know. They acted like they have never heard of synthetic oil before, and said they don't even have it in their shop.

They assume that everybody that walks in the door is ignorant. There is nobody knowledgeable working the service counter. Their job is to sell you on services, not explain what work will be done, how it will be done, or give you any useful information that allows you to make an informed decision.

The mechanics at the back of the shop probably do good work, this review is based on the service desk experience, and misleading/fraudulent information provided by the ignorant employees.

$80 for an oil change using what is likely to be Petro-Canada Supreme conventional oil. Just go to jiffy lube, or some other quick lube place if your car is out of warranty.

Very unpleasant experience: deceptive representation, tactics and pressure in the financial office, indifferent and careless post-sale customer service.

- Went there for a Mazda 5, when I asked for incentive and discount, the salesman (Esso) had me play two bonus games, the top prize was said to be "up to $1000 discount". What I eventually won was $100 "cash" and "$150 gas card", they said they would give me the prizes when I pick up the car. After agreeing on a purchasing price and shaking hands with the salesman, I felt relieved, I thought the negotiation was finally over, but this was just the beginning of nightmare.

- Then my family and I were taken to a little financial office, where the financial manager (Bill) unfolded his aggressive salesmanship and tactics on us: hard-selling of a series of extended warranty, paint protection and under coating and etc. Unprepared and unfamiliar with the products (now I know they are absolutely unnecessary), my family was tortured for nearly an hour, my wife was annoyed, my 3-year-old daughter was annoyed, but Bill just wouldn t stop pressuring us. He even snuck a $500 Stolen Car Protection into my bill un-informed right at the beginning (he or someone else probably did it before I entered the room), I spotted it in time and asked him to remove it. Then I made up my mind not to purchase any add-ons in that office.

- Five days later, I picked up my new car from this dealership. On my way home I realized that I was too excited to ask them about the cash rebate and gas card, I thought they might have put them in the package, then I went through the document folder at home but couldn t find anything: they didn t give me the money and gas card that they promised. I called them and a senior manager Ryan answered my phone, he said the $100 cash was for financial office only (something that they didn t properly disclose before), because I didn t buy any add-ons from the financial office so the $100 is off the table! He agreed to give me the gas card though, I called him again the next day and he reassured me that the gas card is with the reception and ready for pick-up, then I drove an hour through rush-hour traffic after work to their fancy Maple Mazda showroom, and GUESS WHAT, there was nothing for me! Nothing on the reception desk, the receptionist didn t know anything about it. Ryan was off for the day, and no one in that showroom could authorize a $150 dollar gift card for me. A person called Paul even blamed me for not asking for it at the first place, which confirmed my speculation that if you don t ask, this dealership will just ignore the promises they made to customers.

- Now it s been two days after, no one tried to reach me about this. I just called Ryan and reached voice recording. I don t care about the gas card any more, I will file a complaint to Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).

Thanks to Wyatt and his team at Maple Mazda. I have been to several dealerships in the same auto park and none provided with me with professional, courteous, and insightful experience Wyatt was able to provide. On my first visit he offered to take me and wife on a test drive of a brand new CX-5, despite me advising I wasn't prepared to commit to a vehicle. Rather than shrugging us off like other associates have in other dealerships, Wyatt made us feel at home and continued to give us the time we needed to discuss the vehicle. We were so impressed with the vehicle and Wyatt's knowledge that we booked a second appointment where he again took us on a test drive to ensure all of our needs were met. Wyatt took his time, did not push any unnecessary add-ons, and he was able to get us the vehicle we wanted in our budget. Bill assisted us with leasing/financing options and he did not push any unnecessary items. The team stayed until 10 PM on a weeknight to guarantee all needs were met.

We would highly recommend Wyatt and his team for your next vehicle.

There Sales Serive is terrible, we had to wait for 20 minutes, asked for help, and no one bothered trying to sell us or show us a car.... What a waste of time in that location.

My Experience At Maple Mazda

My experience at Maple Mazda was an amazing one. When there make sure to see Sakfan Esso and Paul Joseph. The employees were very helpful, extremely friendly and showed great customer service skills. The work done there was exceptional! Over all experience was one of a lifetime! Based on the employees friendliness and helpfulness alone i would recommend to anyone that if they were buying a Mazda or looking for a car period, definitely go to Maple Mazda. Maple Mazda is the place to go to get a Mazda with a side order of a terrific experience. As a first time car buyer they definitely left a great first impression on me.

Paul Joseph and his team at Maple Mazda provided us with a great car buying experience, and we're now very happy 2016 CX-5 owners. Great experience! my sales person DEMI was incredibly patient (I kept her back an hour past closing time) and was very friendly. The manager there also provided a great experience. My only minor complaint is the fact that they were slightly pushy with selling an extended warranty and other options.

You can feel that Mazda is a small company: everything is easier and more relaxed. Pick Esso and your car purchase will also be fun.

Once of the easiest most friendly car buying experiences I've ever had. I got my CX-5 just last week from this Mazda dealership. Theodore was extremely helpful and friendly from the very beginning. He explained the features and car history in detail, and answered any questions that popped up. He was also very patient when I had phone calls to make between decisions, and was responsive to emails/texts.
I definitely appreciate not feeling pressured to buy anything, and the financing was well explained to me as well. Would definitely recommend this location (and Theo!). I visited two other Mazda dealerships in the GTA and this was the best experience of the three.

I drove away with a fully loaded Mazda3 GT over a month ago despite the dealership not having one in stock. I was quite impressed by the professionalism the Maple Mazda team presented to a person with zero experience in buying a vehicle. Sales manager Paul Joseph made the effort to ensure I left his dealership in a brand-new vehicle. He went so far as to tweak the numbers to give me the best price, despite the fact I had agreed to the initial cost and was oblivious to better options. Adam Brake explained all the finance options in detail, with an answer to every single one of my questions. He was so entertaining that I m pretty sure most of my visit was spent talking to him.

Consultant Roger Hung was the most convincing in my decision. I had visited many other top-rated Google dealerships during my search for a new car. Some sales reps were good, while others would sit at their desks until I approached them, and/or would read off a pamphlet. Roger was the first to recognize that I had already done my homework and that I knew what I was looking for. He could provide me with additional information and knowledge that one cannot easily find on the internet or by consulting other vehicle owners. He would address my concerns and provided an explanation for all his statements. Roger explained every feature of my vehicle, and has made himself available after already selling the car. He clearly has an interest in retaining his customers over the long-term. This alone is why Maple Mazda will be first dealership I visit should I decide to trade-in or purchase another vehicle.

As for the Mazda3 Sport GT, I am a simple person looking for a feasible mode of transportation. I purchased the car primarily for the value, fuel economy, features and accommodation for transporting my training supplies and my dog. While it has only been a month, I am having fun driving the car. It is comfortable for me, it has all the newest features I did not know existed (last vehicles I ve driven were 2015), and has an appealing sporty look. I still haven t explored its full capability. My only annoyance thus far with the vehicle is its middle console. For a small person (5 3 ) it seems to be built for a much taller person or for someone who has a flexible right shoulder to reach behind for storage or access to the USB slots. Also, the premium/technology package also does not include power-seats for the passenger side. But, the multi-radar monitoring system, unique driving display, Bose sound system, console system, and driver specific design more than make up for my minor frustrations. It s a great car and so far I am quite confident it will satisfy the long-term expectations I have.

I recently purchased my 3rd car and Maple Mazda made it a positive experience. Wyatt was a pleasure to deal with and really took his time during the test drive. All my questions were answered promptly (and honestly) by Wyatt (sales) and Dunia (post-sales). When a last minute glitch with MTO almost pushed out the delivery date, Wyatt worked with us to get everything back on track and the delivery date was saved. I bought my first car a brand new Mazda CX-5 from Maple Mazda about 3 months ago. At the time of making deal, I paid them $1000 which they were going to give me back at the time I will get my car. While I got my car, I just got a sum of $600 and they said that remaining $400 will be available by cheque in a month. It's been 3 months now and still they don't have money ready to give me back. Everytime I give them call to hear that they don't have the exact date on which I will have my money back. Unsatisfied experience!!

Purchased with Ian, who did a good job and without pressure. The sales process was smooth enough although Bill was somewhat too persistent. The car preparation was OK, however the door hinges have not been lubricated and the service manager didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. Subsequent service visit because of the electric problem has proved that the service manager (Bruno) wasn't really knowledgeable. He tried to put the problem as a normal feature. However, after I had insisted, young mechanics have identified the problem and fixed it. I'll see how it goes with service at this dealership.

Our experience buying a 2013 CX-5 GT at Maple Mazda started off with a warm, relaxed greeting from Sheldon and continued on a totally positive vibe after meeting general sales manager Ryan. These guys were extremely pleasant, polite and focused on getting us the car we wanted, regardless of how nit-picky we were. After 3 visits to the dealership I feel we got to know them pretty well and look forward to dealing with them in the future. If you want a low-pressure, friendly, jovial team to work with, these guys really fit the bill. Speaking of Bill....hmmmm, what a guy, lol! Handling the financing/business end of things he is super high energy, very friendly, always smiling and a voice you can hear a mile away, (he works hard for his money!)
Overall, Sheldon and Ryan make a great team. They made us feel so welcome, almost like family. They were warm, professional and people to whom we would happily send referrals.

Service department primarily Larisa Gritsiouk - was excellent - my son went their without an appointment because he got a flat tire earlier - but brought it to another mazda dealer (close to where he had the flat) - who told him that tire was not repairable at all and that it was not covered under his extended warranty he pays for - When he arrived at Maple Mazda - Larisa immediately saw on his file that he had the extended warranty and that she would call them to confirm the replacement or repair was covered - (*Firstly the flat tire was not damaged and the Maple Mazda tech was able to repair it no problem and also Larisa made sure that the Warranty was valid for this repair - no charge to my son - (*Where the other dealership wanted him to pay for a new tire $250 and no warranty coverage - thank you Larisa and Maple Mazda service - excellent service as always.

Just bought a MX-5 RF from Maple Mazda. Had never dealt with them before. Overall a great experience! Yawar Power is really a pleasure to deal with. He knows his stuff, is very polite, takes all the time required to make sure the customer (me) felt comfortable. The whole process, including evaluating my trade-in, went without issue. When I picked up the car he went through all the features with me. I don't usually bother with this step, but there is so much technology in the car that it was really useful. I would certainly recommend both him and the dealership. Zoom zoom!

These guys are great. I recently bought a used car from them and I was treated very respectfully, professionally and quickly. They worked very hard to secure the deal, and then worked very hard to get the car ready in a short amount of time before I picked it up. The staff there are all excellent including the Business Manager, General Manager and the Salesperson. I am a high maintenance customer, but I felt comfortable at all times. The Salesperson was new to the job (Bon), but he knew what he was doing and was very enthusiastic. I would recommend him and the entire dealership to everyone. Not like others who would just simply recommend the most expensive model to me all the time, He was really professional, took everything I told him into consideration, and literally spent three hours with me patiently to answer all my questions, compare the models/prices and pick the car that best fit my needs economically and performance-wise. It was such a bad experience being here. They treated us well in the beginning but they became very rude when we ask for the further information. Even though we like the car we just dropping the plan just because of the staff's behavior.

Had the pleasure of having Wyatt as my salesman. He was very knowledgeable, kind and did not pressure me whatsoever. He understood my needs and showed me around. I ultimately ended up buying a 2017 Mazda6, and the entire process went by very smoothly thanks to his help.
