I really utilised the 5 star treatment when I got sick. I was glad this was the hotel we got. The initial wait was a while. The traffic into the area is insane. Two lifts need to be taken to get to and from your room. If you wish to go to another room in the hotel it is a bit of a confusing system if you not use to it. The rooms staff are top class. I don't like that you drag you bag halfway around the world and people want to help you get to your room and get paid for it. Loved the sound system connected to the Musjid. The prayer room has fantastic views and helped when I wasn't well enough to leave the hotel and the construction was on going. Breakfast was good. I liked that the mall was downstairs if anything was needed. Note if you go 200m away from the Haram the prices drop drastically for food.

It has a nice ambiance and very close proximity to Haram. It s my third visit in Fairmont Makkah with Zaka Group from Pakistan.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the quality of food n service in the restaurants. I would like to make a special mention of Mr Rayees, Supervisor whom I have found having reached to almost every customer and facilitating them. He had displayed an impressive inter-personnel skills by owning the customers service. His visual contact and strong body language would made his appearance all round. He is recommended for commendation for his conspicuous endeavours for customer satisfaction. Secondly, waiters should be trained to give a soft and friendly look. Most of them are so stone faced and do not keep their eye contact with the tables. Some basic English sentences should be tutored for better communication with Non-Arabic speaking people. Best of luck

The waiter called Saleem truly knows how to welcome a guest from any where in the world. He is a well equipped individual, with a natural ability to make you feel welcomed. A lovely experience indeed set by Saleem himself. Security guard would not allow me access, but when i called rhe Hotel i was given access.

Enjoy my stay here. I love the dining hall which face the Kaabah and when you pray in the mushollah of the hotel, you actually can see the kaabah. The breakfast menu is kinda amazing, however, when you stay for over 3 days, You ll notice lots of common foods being serve for their breakfast menu.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, as we perform umrah, it was a pleasure to be there and it was more than what we were expecting. The overall performance was great! I would like to say that the level of service was outstanding and the staff members were great and proactively helpful!

Several restaurants also available to indulge your taste amazing food. Location near to Masjidil Haram.

What could you want for more? Nice place with nice view. Staffs speak English very well and understand some Bahasa Indonesia. Toiletries are the best, rose scented and I love to steal (do not blame me) it! Food for breakfast (global menu) are very good, and for Indonesian lunch and dinner are good too. They tried to cook as close as the real Indonesian recipe so thumbs up!

I just hope the housekeeping clean the room at the regular and same hour every day though. However, overall experience is 9,75/10!!

Hope to visit Makkah soon and stay in Fairmont again!

Several 5 star hotels at close proximity to Masjidul Haram. All essential shopping and of course the food court at P3&P3 which is the best place to go for a bite other than the restaurants in the hotels.
