How can a video game company permit its product (C...

How can a video game company permit its product (Civilization 5) to render itself inoperable with Steam and/or modern operating system software, and not issue some form of public recourse or correction? Let alone, fail to make even minimal company resources available to the public to address the error? Civ 5 crashes! For a high profile company to display such a lack of commercial integrity is common in game studios today, and it is disheartening. Firaxis should be ashamed of itself.
