Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel Review

Nice hotel with good facilities. And the advantage from this hotel is we can directly go to Masjidil Haram.

Most famous hotel in araund al-Masjidil al-haram', expensive but worthy

It is a good hotel.located in clock tower building.

good rooms space .
all furniture is in a good condition .
breakfast was included in my reservation and it was very good .
you can pray with haram imam from you room or from the mosque in floor M .they have speakers inside the hotel rooms and halls.

it dose not include ka'aba view (dar al iman chain).
but its very near to haram .

The taste of the food from Lezzet restaurant is good...overall the service is excellent

Best location. Amazing view Of Khana Qaba. Watching it live was a great feeling. Offcourse, rooms, staff, food, other services are great. Must have room here when visiting Makkah. Great hotel with extraordinary services. Polite staff, neat and clean envirnment this is what is required.

Nice location but the room are on the small size with limited refreshment at the coffee room. If you plan to perform prayer at the Haram you better leave 30 minutes before the call for prayer as the elevators are slow and overcrowded. The service is not bad but not so great with longer than usual check-in and check-out. If you are driving then you will be disappointed with the parking area. If you are flying back home you may like the baggage packing at the hallway at the same level as the hotel entrance.

The best place to stay in Makkah. The Kaabah facing rooms are great. We had a Kaabah facing suite and it was wonderful. Great to be with family in this suite. The view from the room was amazing. They had audio from the mosque for azaan and prayers and you could adjust the volume in the room. It was a hassle to go down as we were supposed to take 2 lifts but you can expect was it was on around 35 level.

Amazing stay! We stayed in room 936 and room 901. The rooms were cozy and spacious. The staff were really nice and friendly. Especially Riyaz Husain from the M3 restaurant. He was very friendly and served and helped us alot! You should definatley promote him! Overall an amazing stay

I really enjoyed three nights Fairmont. The entire staffs are friendly. The food was tasty. The respond from housekeeping, room service, and other are excellent. The only two things that I Could not accepted the parking lot & check in time.
Only 50 or 70 parking lots are available. The check in time between 5pm to 6 pm.

Excellent hotel that's just a stone's throw away from the entrance to the Haram. Rooms and service was great - especially Riyaz Hussain on the M3 level. He was a great help from day 1 and a wonderful support throughout!

Saipoden was an amazing butler and very understanding, Thank you for your service brother.

Highly recommended luxury hotel. The view of kaabah is breathtaking , the convenience and the attentive staff were all over. Accessibility is good but elevators may sometimes be hindering if you are in a rush. Room service is a bit slow though.

Best hotel in the world to enjoy kabah view and pray from room.

Very luxurious, if you lucky you can get room with full kabah view, the only drawback is the lift, you must change minimum twice to get to your room

I stayed there with my mother from 29th July until August 17, 2017, before hajj 1438. My Room number was 1602, it's memorable time for my life. Hotel is excellent and buffet breakfast was awesome

This is a great hotel near Kaba. We can get everything here, shopping arcade, mall, pharmacy, and most important you can get access to Kaba more quickly because it's really near Gate number 1. The service was really good, love this hotel because it was cleand and comfortable.

I had taken breakfast in atyaf restuarant,service done by kazi and staff was excellent,we recommend our family and friend .

Good facility, friendly staff very busy at times going to Al Haram.
Food can be improved. But amount of waste by Guest was unbelievable.
May recommend if they address few niggly issues.

Great rooms, mattresses aren t rock hard like most hotels. Staff is polite; however the parking situation is unfortunately bad due to the sheer amount of people at Al-Haram

Let me start by thanking Shaima the amazing young lady at the front desk of the 29th floor, her welcoming demeanor and elegant manner is admirable. As for the food services (mentioning only the breakfast Buffet, it is fine yet, there are a couple of things to note:
- The pastries aren t as fresh as one would expect.
- Some utensils could use a bit more thorough cleaning (personally I was given a fork that had a sticky handle)

- The omelette isn t to the desired taste. The already made mixture of eggs is, as I reckon, is the issue.
- I suggest adding a coffee corner with a skillful barista taking orders for coffee and could be for extra charges.
* Most workers/ waiters are helpful and responsive. Only few individuals (From the staff) displayed Disappointing behavior (nothing that cannot be excused due to the workload or pressure though).
* all in all, I am a frequent resident of Fairmont Makkah, the reason I keep choosing it is my genuine pleasant experience. Thank you to the hoteliers and staff for their great service.

It's superb! It's comfortable and a welcome place of rest after spending time at the Haram. The staff is helpful at all times. Importantly, the Kaaba view is just stunning, and you'll enjoy it thoroughly during your stay here. The exit, from the mall, leads to the King Abdulaziz Gate. I'll suggest this hotel stay during Umrah or Hajj anytime.

Elevators are not properly operated/managed, which essentially becomes test of your patience. rest of it is all wonderful.
In order to solve it, they should add essential floors like ground floor or main entrance or lobby, to all elevators, also there can be smart solutions, like detectors if an elevator is called from outside and there is no one, or if an elevator is full it wouldn't stop etc. All maintenance work should be done at low usage timings etc. All these minor enhancement can make this 5 star.
