Its really an impressive place..The interior is classy and one can relax conveniently after ibadahs at Al haram .. it's very near to the haram so very satisfied...but quite expensive during peak times of Ramadan and hajj. But a worthy experience.

Just like many 5 star hotels, Fairmont Makkah a wonderful hotel to stay in. We really enjoy staying here as we can go back and forth to the masjidil Haram to perform our prayers at anytime we want.. Tiny flaws: the signs of the elevator segregations aren't too clear; plus it would be nice if there are more elevators available at prayer time to get in to and out of the mosque on S2 floor.

Place is ok. As regard food design cleanliness etc. Reception is not professional no enough staff available, The lifts are very bad, miserable time and effort waste when ascending or descending . The car parking is very unhelpful

Al dira dinner is a wonderful place to dine with family and friends. They offer a wide range of dishes including sub continental, italian, Mediterranean etc. Me and my family loved this place. Great job!

Facilities are amazing, but having a shopping center selling luxury goods right next to the most sacred place in the world jars too much. It's the Haram, not Las Vegas and it should be about equality, but luxury and exclusivity. Some very messed up thinking. Nothing should distract from the Haram...

Had travelled with Darelsalam travel from the US for Haj 2018. Had a wonderful time at the Fairmont and would love to go back. Special thanks to the chef at the Aldar restaurant, Supervisor Kazi and his team for accommodating my food intolerance and preparing special meals for me. The special care was greatly appreciated.

Its the best place to stay. Hotel rooms are clean with 5 star standard. Services are efficient and dining facilities with foods of all varieties are great. Location is the best since it is directly opposite the Grand Mosque with just a walk across the quardrangle or open space. I will stay here again

Expected a better service, Fairmont only by name. View Excellent !

The room had a strong smell of cigarettes, water from the shower cubicle would leak into the toilet cubicle, i mentioned this to house keeping who advised I mention this on check out?

The overall house keeping was poor, they would either miss the room out entirely or only make the bed, on one occasion we had to call reception to send house keeping at 8pm after they failed to turn up after having a conversation with them outside the room.

The location is brilliant although if you hear the adhaan and you are still in the room its quicker jump out the window than waiting for two separate lifts, once on the ground floor you need to walk through the shopping centre to enter the Haram.

Overall a good hotel but let down by staff, insha'Allah I will be back but will choose a different accommodation.

I travel all over the world and go to a lot of hotels and honestly this hotel has one of the best breakfasts there is. I definitely recommend coming here and staying here. I come to Saudi Arabia once every two years and always come here because of there hospitality.

Well maintained and a quick stroll through the mall and you are in Haram. If you are driving to the hotel, dont trust Google Maps - park nearest possible to Haram and walk.
P.s. Charged parking around Haram.
