Maquire Automotive is truly as it purports to be: A one-stop shop for buying a car. Our salesman, Ryan Salino, was extremely knowledgeable about the Toyota Camry we were considering. He was courteous and friendly and handled every aspect of our purchase. He gave us a comprehensive overview of the car's features, gave us ample time and distance for an excellent test drive and showed us all the appropriate cars available on the lot. He handled the financing, the required credit report, insurance, registration, inspection, and plates. In addition to Ryan's excellent service, the young man who helped us with the final paperwork (and whose name I'm embarrassed to say I've forgotten... Hi nice guy with the chinchilla and the hedgehog...) was a delight to work with. He was very clear with his explanations, methodical in addressing each document, and extremely pleasant to deal with. A winning staff! A great experience for us as older folks buying our first new car in 20 years!

We had a fantastic experience at Maguire of Ithaca. We bought a new Toyota Highlander. Just got back from taking it on a trip our first weekend having it and it's so perfect for us. Our Sales Consultant, Ryan Salino worked so hard to help us find our car, price it in our range, financing and everything. He was always available, and made sure we knew the tech of the car before leaving for our trip. They have up-front pricing so it's not a haggle, its more about finding the car you want at your price point. Ryan said he didn't work on commission, and it shows, we came and went a couple of times and never felt any pressure. We love the car so much, but it's nice to know that if anything we don't like pops up, we have 30 days to exchange. It was actually fun to buy this car and I recommend finding Ryan if you go there.

found a car online, Nissan CUBE, looked great, even had a video of it..
drove down from SYRACUSE to check it out, (we called first) ..they tell us its "across the street getting DETAILED"
we go there, 75 miles... its piece of $hit, mismatched tires, stone buiises everywhere s if it was DRAGGED behind a gravel truck tailgate down, yes it was that bad, rear pass door very hard to open, windshield cracked, and looked like someone took a shotgun to it with rocks.. no lie. and inside.. the smell of a dump.. to top it off a milkshake (large) dumped on the rear floor for a few days.. which i handed to the salesman, and told him Great detailing!" i call it a SCAM.. so buyer beware!!

I went to Maguire in the hunt for a new car. After going between few of the dealerships, and comparing prices with other dealers in the Binghamton area, I finally settled on a purchase at Maguire. My salesperson, Ryan Salino, was professional and helpful without being pushy. They were able to up my trade-in price when compared with the Kelly Blue Book value and another dealer's offer. I liked the idea of the lifetime engine guarantee.. any part that touches oil has a catastrophic failure during the life of the car, and they'll repair or replace the engine.

I have bought 3 cars from Maguire. Was happy with them but policies have left me shopping elsewhere They left oil cap off Toyota Tundra around 20k oil cap off. Idea of dirt getting into the engine and the hundreds of miles before I found out didn't sit well with me. Recently had and injector go bad on my 2017 Jetta, I carry mechanical breakdown insurance through my car insurance. Geico says they pay the bill at rate in full. Service department said they couldn't accept any kind of mechanical breakdown insurance, only extended warranty purchased through them. Seems like trying to force someone to buy your extended warranty by not accepting payment from insurance is something that should be illegal. I'll now take the time to negotiate with other dealers.

Jeff was fantastic! He was patient, knowledgeable and not pushy with anything. I took my time, coming by several weekends to drive different cars, and he was attentive each time. He knew the features of each vehicle without hesitation and let me take my time with each car. I would recommend his service and care to anyone! Thanks for your help Jeff.

I really needed a car but I couldn't find anything in my price range... Colin Chapman found the perfect car for me and I drove it out of there happy as a clam.
I plan on buying all my cars from Maguire Nissan and I will absolutely seek out Colin every time.

They have a few good sales people at the chevy lot but that's about it. And to top it off I ended up paying double what I wanted to because I refused to pay for the beater they gave me at first. I had 2 separate mechanics tell me it should have never even passed inspection. And both said the transmission is leaking and shifting hard/grinding gears/ passengers side ball joint was bad (and it is for sale again on there website).. And they grease pulleys so they don't make a whining noise when you check out the car witch is dangerous! Heat and grease don't mix. So in my opinion Maguires seems like a scam in it's self... they sell you a cheaper reasonable priced car that is guaranteed to have a million problems then when you go to exchange it because of the problems you can only spend more or the same as your original loan so you get screwed over in the first place because any car in your price range is something you don't want or "sold allready". I wouldn't advise anybody to buy from these guys because all they want is your money. But if you do Deside to go there then I advise that you go to the chevy lot and use Collin as your sales rep. He was great and made sure I went threw/checked out everything but that was about the only good thing I've seen from them. I wish there was laws to stop businesses like this one

I was getting ready to purchase a used vehicle when in the dealership I saw the sign "5G's and the Keys!"
The advertisement stated that if I could find a price on the same vehicle anywhere in NY then I would receive the vehicle as well as $5,000. They told me with used vehicles that it is hard to compare the condition but if the mileage and the condition (carfax is clean) is the same then it would count. The vehicle I was interested in purchasing had about 68,000 miles on it. So I found the same year, same model, checked the carfax - clean, with about 63,000 miles on it. $1500 cheaper. A pretty substantial amount. They told me they could match the price but not give it to me for free with $5,000. Then I asked how often do people find lower prices and they get free cars?
They said they don't give away free cars despite having that advertisement. I did get money off the sticker price but it was still very disappointing that they do not own up to their publicized agreements.

Went to McGuire for an oil change special and was shocked how fantastic the customer services was! As I was waiting I was asked if I would like a refreshment and was also told to help myself to the freezer full of ice cream while I waited. Amesome, awesome, awesome!!! Highly recommend going there, I will be from now on.

Today I leased a Toyota Rav4 from Maguire Toyota and had a great experience. My Sales person was Ryan Salino who explained the lease program to me. He offered me different options, so I could make a lease choice that fit my needs. This is my first time I have ever leased a vehicle and I believe it won't be my last. After the sale, Ryan gave me a Tour of the Dealership so when the time comes for the maintenance of my Rav4, I know exactly what to do and where to go for the service. Oh, by the way, the maintenance for my vehicle is free for the first 2 years, all I have to do is get it to Maguire every 5000 miles.

Anyone that is looking to purchase a car should go to Maguire. I had been looking around for months to find the perfect car in my price range. Eventually I was able to get the car that I wanted in the first place, a VW passat. The salesman Herb Sheffield was very patient throughout the whole process and provided great suggestions. Compared to other dealers this is by far the easiest place to purchase a car.

I worked with sales person Jamie Owens at Maguire Jeep / Dodge / Ram / Chrysler. Jamie answered all questions for me, he informed me on things I was not aware of, provided me wide a large range of information. I am very thankful for that. An excellent experience, I will purchase my next car / van / truck / SUV from Jamie.

Maguire was a great experience. The salesman was very knowledgeable and was very helpful in helping me find the right SUV in the right price range. They gave me a fair price for my trade-in value, which is more than I can say about another car dealership. They made buying a car painless and smooth. Also, I was happy and amazed that they had a playroom for my 1-year-old son to play in with his grandma, while we were car shopping. I would recommend anyone to buy from them. When we go looking for a new car, I know where we will be going in the future!

In my previous review I praised Maguire as it seemed they had improved on things that bothered me in the past - many of these things were fixed by their new 'service express' center. However, my visit today reaffirmed to me that Maguire tries to get as much money from their customers as possible. If you take your car for service here, make sure your wallet is prepared to take a beating from hidden fees they don't outright tell you about. I needed to replace a part, which the service lady told me cost $90. Great, that's reasonable. So I bring my car back, wait a little bit, then the bill comes to $208! It's true, the receipt says the part was $90, but the labor to install it was $100 for one hour of work! Be very careful taking your car here, their business is predatory and they rely on the idiocy of their customers to overcharge them. One star because they fixed my car, a second star because their bathroom was clean.

I bought a car last week from Maguire and could not be more pleased with the experience. The price on the vehicle was so good, I knew I didn't need to shop around. It was $2,000 lower than I expected to pay!! I went in feeling confident because they have a policy where everyone pays the same low price without having to haggle. Fairness is very important to a woman like me, who shouldn't have to bring her father along just to get a decent deal. The salesman, Kirk Barker, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He went over all of the financing options with me and I was surprised, again, at how low the monthly payment would be! They really do seem to have a lot of options. Kirk also spent a lot of time showing me how to use all of the controls and even connected my phone to the blue tooth in the car. He was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Kirk Barker to guide you through your next automobile purchase!

So I dropped my car off Sunday afternoon with their after hours drop box. I had an appointment set for Monday morning to get my car fixed from a fender bender. When I had set the appointment they said it would take four days and be ready Thursday afternoon. I called Thursday, they told me it was done and painted it just needed to dry longer so I could come back on Friday. I was busy Friday so I checked their hours, it says Saturday open 8am to 6pm. Guess what?! Their closed on Saturdays. Then I come in this Monday morning to pick up my supposedly done car. Then they tell me it's not done!! I will been without my car for 5 more days than expected, without any notice or compensation. I am extremely unhappy.

Edit: I have voicemail set up on my phone and received no voicemail. But this does not change the fact that you flat out lied to me on Thursday saying that my car was done and just needed to dry more.

Outstanding Job Neal Saarie for helping me find the right truck for me. Also I had a great experience within the short time of my visit. I never been in and out with a brand new vehicle ever. Thanks to the Maguire Family of Dealerships. If you want fast quality service I recommend them. Thanks again guys.

I am a neurotic engineer with control issues, so buying a used car is very stressful for me. Last week a friend recommended Maguire Automotive because of their no pressure guaranteed lowest price sale environment. Last Saturday afternoon my family and I went to look at a few different 2011-2012 SUVs. Miles Milton introduced us to the Maguire philosophy (which was refreshing) and helped us select our Toyota Highlander (which is awesome) from a variety of SUVs we test drove.
The difference between Miles and Maguire is all the small things they did that eased my nerves. First I did not think we would have enough time because we got there late on Saturday but Miles told me not to rush but to take my time and he would stay as late as needed. My children of course didn t like the sound of that but Miles (who they love) came to the rescue with ice cream and movies. This allowed me the time I needed to go through the comparisons with my wife and Miles help. After that he got my wife and I a drink and went to work on papers and DMV stuff all while nabbing me a great rate for our insurance. By the end of the day I felt like an old family friend had found my family the perfect car, which he cleaned and gassed upped for us before we headed home with a rose for both my wife and daughter (again this was late Saturday and there was never a rushed feeling).
As I said I am neurotic and when I woke up the next day I was worried if my new family friend, Miles and the Maguire philosophy was a ploy. That s when Miles called me to ask me how my family enjoyed the new car and how it rode on the way home. Since than Miles has been able to answer all my neurotic questions and it s because of that that I know we made the right choice with going to Maguire and more so I that I have Miles Milton in my corner so that I never have to worry about buying a car again.

Had a great initial experience until I purchased the car. Had a small issue getting a missing tow hook cover but was contacted by the GM who made su43 I 3wd happy with the overall sale. Can tell the company really cares about the customer and wants to ensure satisfaction.

I had a great experience at Maguire, buying out and trading in one lease and starting a new lease (the VW Passat). My salesman, Matt Strassner, found me a car that perfectly fit my needs and desires, for an excellent price. He made the process smooth, organized, and easy. When he was away for training on the day I picked up the car, I was helped by Steve Frost, who was fun and interesting and knew so many fun facts about the car and helped me get to know it.

I bought a used 2008 jetta 5 years ago from them, the salesman was pleasant and mentioned that it had a lifetime engine warranty no matter what happens it would be covered as long as I owned the vehicle. The engine recently crapped out and I'm told it's not covered under their lifetime engine warranty because
I replaced the crappy stock coil packs with coils from a different model vw that is known to be far more reliable. Even vw techs agree. So I decide to see about buying a new vehicle from them hoping they can at least give me a decent deal. I find the car on their website and ask if they can transfer it to a more local dealership for me. They refuse saying it costs far to much to transfer a vehicle. So I find an identical car at simmons and Rockwell that's also at another dealership. They transferred the vehicle from a dealership 2 hours away, to my local dealership and I Paid 1k less than what maguires could do. 5gs and the keys? Yea right they don't live up to their word in any fashion.

I like nothing about my experience at this location. Took our car in to get serviced for an oil change. They ended up replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced. Didn't get any information. Didn't get out car back for 4 weeks! And ended up spending 3,000 dollars!! We got the car back and it broke down a week later! When we contacted audi of America they said they shouldn't of even worked on the car with how many problems it had. When we asked why they worked on it. We were told. "We're business people, we need to get service and product payed for." FULLY DISGUSTED with my whole entire experience. I'm glad you made your money when this car could of killed myself and children.

Nate did a great job getting me the vehicle I wanted. I greatly appreciated Maguire handling all the paperwork in house. Their partnership with CFCU was a big bonus for me, as CFCU is my main bank. I was a bit disappointed with the trade-in value for my previous vehicle, but I understand that those valuations are done much like insurance underwriting.

My wife and I had a very good experience buying our Kia Niro from here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our test drive was a joy. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the cars we were considering. We just wished that we knew that they had coffee available for customers before we got to the end!

Ive been looking at their used car inventory online. Any of the reasonably priced cars they don't seem to have in stock for some crazy reason. The last reason that was given to me: "The car was leased and then sold. We offer the car to the same customer after the lease is up."
Thats fine and typical but Why is it on your website?!
I feel like they are always trying to wheel and deal.

Also test drove some of their used cars. Boy do they smell like garbage. When you first get in to the car there is a mat that says "We take pride in your car" or something of that nature. HA SUUUUUURREEE.

It took the service department two weeks and four days to fix my car. I found out only by calling the service department that my parts weren't in the shop when they expected them to be - then found out later that the parts were actually there and the car was not being worked on. I was quoted a price for several repairs and a show room cleaning and then promised a discount for my inconvenience. When I picked up my car, it was wiped down and was "washed" and I found out later a couple of issues were never fixed. I then took the car back to get it repaired again! The service department took another week repairing it. The service manager then told me, if I want the show room cleaning, I would have to pay for it. I also told the gentleman at the desk every time I dropped off my car that my phone number had changed. I saw him write it down every time, but they magically lost it and I never received any calls. Doesn't sound like a very good level of service for the community if you ask me.

My wife and I went to Maguire Toyota, because we heard from relatives how wonderful the overall service at Maguire really was. Everything we heard on the radio ads prior to getting there that day were right on the money. Friendly service, no pressure to buy, and an overwhelming willingness to do whatever it took to make us happy. We went up just to look and came home with a used car. Michael Melice stayed after hours to get the deal done for us and we couldn't be more thrilled with our decision to go to Maguire.

I would like to compliment Mike Melice for his excellant presentation, maturity and knowledge. I was delighted with his overall handling of my purchase of a 2012 RAV4. I did encounter a bump in the road during the final stages of my purchase but, between Mike and Dan Haliday (Sales Manager) all was straightened out and I am a very satisfied customer. I would recommend Maguire Toyota to anyone. This is my third Toyota and I love it. I found the whole experience rewarding and satisfying.

DO NOT BUY HERE THEY LIE AND CHEAT poor people out of money. I bought a car from these people because I had no other choice our car was going to die and we need to commute over an hr. It has not been more than four months and now the transmission is failing. I called and requested assistance and they plain out said it was going to cost $75.00 to look at it even though it was covered by the warranty before they would even consider it a problem. So you want money to fix the thing I just bought from you and is breaking before the warranty is up. Their word is worth nothing! You will notice they give scripted response to any negative reviews as well

I strolled into to Maguire Toyota on the off-chance that I could return my current lease a few months early and get into a new car before leaving town for the summer. Ryan Salino was the first to meet me at the door, and he patiently waited for my lengthy explanation about why I was there (let's just say that my case was complicated after over a year out of the country and an unhappy DMV), before calmly letting me know that he could help right away. Long story short, the defensiveness that I normally have when speaking to car dealers was soon completely gone. I returned later that day and Ryan was completely up-front about my options, listened to my needs, explained that he was not under any incentive to sell me a particular car, option, or after-market service. He stayed 2 hours after closing (much to the dismay of the others who were helping him), and even though the purchase was still incomplete, allowed my us to take the new car home so that we would cap-off a busy day with a rewarding experience. The next day we wrapped-up the sale (which included Maguire fighting to get me the best financing package despite a few hits to my credit). My last car (Toyota Camry) purchase was at Maguire as well, and the person who served me then (Rue--now working the imports) was as honest and helpful as Ryan. They even credited me with the outstanding balance on my Toyota lease so that I could apply it to my new Kia lease. I'm starting to be less afraid of the whole process thanks to these guys. Never thought I'd get this far. I would recommend them to anyone. I'm sure there may be some stray characters at the dealership who aren't as great as Ryan or Rue, but I've yet to meet one.

Had a great experience buying a used Toyota Prius from Jackie at Maguire. The first car we considered had a strong cigarette odor that we knew we couldn t tolerate. When we asked if they could clean it to remove the odor, they told us the odor would never go away completely. I appreciated their honesty. Then Jackie directed us to another Prius with the same low mileage as the first, one model year older, but $1000 less! (They don t negotiate price, but that was explained at the outset.) We had the car checked out by our mechanic who identified a few problems. Maguire promptly fixed them without quibble. Jackie gracefully guided us through the whole purchasing process, explaining all the paperwork clearly, and handling everything with the DMV. The entire experience was first rate.

I hope that I can save at least one person a whole lot of frustration by writing this.

First, I should say that I've just recently learned that the bad service one gets at Maguire's is something of a local joke. I just wish I'd been in on the joke last week, before I took my car in. In their defense, the manager, Jim, and Shannon, who works in the front service office, are great. The courtesy van driver, Earl, is so awesome he should have his own company. But heaven help you if you have to deal with Ryan in Service or David in Sales.

The big stuff: while "fixing" my brake pads, they broke my parking brake, and the very next week they LOST MY KEYS.

Smaller stuff: David in Sales offered me $500 for a car, for which the Bluebook price is $1325. I have since sold it for $1300. I would advise against selling your car to the Maguire dealership, since you will get less than half its worth. David tried to blame the AAA tow truck driver for losing my keys, but after I successfully tracked the driver down and he was able to give an exact description of the Maguire offices, he backtracked and said, "I've already wasted too much time on a $500 dollar car" and left me without keys to my car.

Some of the people at this dealership treat customers very badly, so just be careful who you work with. I've tried to be as specific enough to help out anyone who might have to get work done down there, but I have not used last names because this is the Internet, and well... you never know.

Maguire's has definitely lost my business, even though I'll be driving a VW for the next 10 years. I'm buying a new car at a different dealership. That's a lot of money lost on their part.

Several different people have highly recommended Hunts, and I look forward to working with them.

I just recently leased a Volkswagon GLI from Maquire. I had an extremely pleasant buying experience with my sales consultant Kirk Barker. I was not forced into any car or group of cars that were out of my price range and or did not fit the criteria that I was looking for. Kirk did a tremendous job of narrowing down the various features and requirements that I was looking for in a vehicle and helped me to locate a selection of three different cars that may suit all of my needs. After I selected the perfect car, it was apparent that Kirk was not focused on getting the most money for his dealership, but rather doing his best to help me the customer. Overall the experience was great and me and my girlfriend will continue to do business with Kirk and the Maquire dealership in the future.

We had an excellent experience at Maguire. As soon as we got out of the car we had someone come up to us and ask us if we needed help. We test drove an Audi A4 and loved it. Jackie was our salesperson and she was absolutely amazing. She was so kind, wasn't pushy at all, and fought for us when it came to making a deal. We highly recommend this dealership and are very happy with our new car!

Our experience buying a new VW Golf at Maguire was excellent. Our past experiences with car salesmen at other places have been somewhat dreadful, and we really don't like pushy sales people. Jackie O. at the VW dealership was patient with us and very professional when we told her up front that "we weren't buying a car that day...just looking". We planned on leaving immediately if we felt at all pushed. Jackie set us up with a test drive and answered all of our questions without trying to force us to buy a car. Because of this, we returned 2 days later to buy the car we'd looked at. The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the extremely low trade-in value they offered on our '08 Yaris. We wholesaled our Yaris to a used car dealer within 24 hours for nearly double what Maguire had offered us.

Will (William) our Sales guy was great. We had fun with no pressure to purchase a car. Before going I searched web for best prices using Maguire as the base price. Now I probably could have gone to another dealership and get the same price but I would have to haggle. I hate to haggle - so Maguire basically takes that step out. I will do business again for my next car. Will (William) be ready to travel the town again soon. Any questions we had for him - he answered. Again I was a great experience.

I have had NOTHING but issues with this dealership. I will NEVER buy or have my car serviced here. It's nothing but lies coming from the service dept.

I took my car in for service, everything went well until I got an over priced quote for something I didnt even bring the car in for. They said there was an issue with my turbocharger. They said it has exsesive play. BUT when my shop removed the turbocharger to replace it, they found that the dealer said it was one thing. But really it was another. After calling the VW service manager (Chris) several times. I spoke to him yesterday. After I told me what my shop had found, and that I didnt feel I should pay for something that was NOT looked at right he became angry and told me he would refund the money and hung up the phone. I have filed the papers with NYS DMV about this dealer. I will me pushing the matter as well. I would NOT go here ever again.

They replaced my valve cover gasket for small leak. Got home and it was leaking worse then it did when it was bad. The oil leaked all over the back of the motor and exhaust (Fire hazard). So the replaced it again and I could still smell the oil. Checked under the engine cover and there was oil everywhere. They never cleaned the mess they caused. Look it back and they made excuses but finally cleaned it up. Will never have then touch my cars again.

If I could give a 0 star - I would. I had gotten into an frontal collision for my car and I came to Maguire to get it fixed and they initially said i d take a month and then kept pushing the day it d be fixed because they found more issues with my car and so it ended up taking 1.5 months which is insane for just a frontal collision that damaged my grill plates and hood area. They hardly gave any updates and just the estimate took two days when they said it d take one hour. When I balky was able to pick up my car they said they needed me to come back to get my headlights wired but I had to go back for winter break so they recommended I go to BMW and get it fixed. When I went to BMW they said the modules weren t installed so they had to keep my car ANOTHER 3 days and it still couldn t get fixed. Just to add onto that, they had damaged the thing that protects the engine so I had to spend an additional $400 for that when it wasn t my responsibility for the collision, the damage, or anything else. Extremely awful service and highly would not recommend to anyone.

During the year my family had to have ongoing issues with our primary vehicle addressed by this company, it became painfully clear that Maguire has earned their local reputation for predatory sales and abysmal service. It would never have occurred to me to go to them to buy a car, nor service any vehicle I owned due to the stories I've heard directly from other past Maguire customers, but unfortunately was required to do so by the terms of multiple factory recalls and warranties on a vehicle purchased out-of-state. More than once, a repair was "completed" (usually way over the time estimate), only to have the issue resurface, sometimes on the short drive home. Any time we had to follow up on a current, recurring, or new issue, just getting someone to actually answer the phone or return a call was the work of hours, if not days. The last time we had repairs completed , the car broke down less than 10 minutes after driving away from Maguire, but luckily in front of another dealer. When Maguire refused to take the car back and ACTUALLY complete the repairs, I was fortunate to find a good deal on a vehicle I wanted to purchase and get a remarkably decent offer on the trade-in of the non-functioning car at the dealer where my car stopped running. One of the reasons I'm excited and relieved to have my situation with this car resolved in this manner is the hope of never having to deal with Maguire ever again for any reason.

Just bought a Subaru Legacy Outback and so far is is working well for me. This was the first time I have bought a car from a dealership and the salesman, Dan Foster, seemed to be pretty helpful and honest while walking me through the process. If I continue to receive the same level of customer service from the service department as I did from the sales department then they will keep my business!

If I could give them a 0 star that would be much better but still not good enough. I took a new purchase to their audi dealer for a simple oil change. They did complete the oil change, they also reflashed my ecu to remove the apr tune. Not happy about it at all, when I called and asked why they did this they denied it, naturally. I then get a call from a douchy little guy who wanted to argue about my claim. The car has only been to this shop, it and I will never go back. I suggest you look at other dealers and service shops on the area. To sum up my experience, I am mad enough to talk to my lawyer about it.

Travis Godbey is a great salesperson, very sweet, friendly and personal. Very knowledgeable, and had answers to all of my questions, he was able to help me pick out the right car, took me through all of the steps and helped me with all of the paperwork and with understanding everything. He made me feel like first priority and like my business with the company mattered. Great service at maguires! I love my car!!

Absolutely terrible! My mother bought a Lincoln form them. Brand new off the lot 2017 Lincoln MKC and it ran great for about 18 months. Then the check engine light turned on and she took it into the shop. The entire engine needed to be replaced. Then the problems just kept happening. Axles, transmission, sun visor garage door opener broke, steering rods, hoses. Maguire gave no help and would not stand by their car. No one in my family will ever buy a maguire car again.

Based on my own research, I feel that I received a fair deal on my trade in, and they were able to provide me with an interest rate on my loan that was .25% less than was offered by my own bank.

I recently purchased a new Silverado from Maguire Chevy of Baldwinsville and have nothing but accolades for the team members there. Cassie Eaton, my e-mail contact, was very informative and helpful in getting truck inventory details to me. After that she referred me to Harley Thompson in sales. Harley was great from start to finish. I would highly recommend him when going to purchase a vehicle. He was very thorough and knowledgeable from my test drive all the way through the purchase process. He has kept an open door for any questions or concerns I have had since the purchase. Thank you Harley!!! Great job....

I had been scouring dealership websites for about ...

I had been scouring dealership websites for about two months for a used Subaru Impreza. After hearing about my mother and sister's experience buying vehicles from Maguire, I knew that I really wanted to buy my next vehicle from them. I took a chance on an hour long drive over and was so excited to see an Impreza that was not yet listed for sale.

Michael Corgnell approached us and engaged us in friendly conversation and made it clear that he would only show me vehicles that matched what I was looking for and what I felt was within my budget. At no time did Mike ever push me or make me feel like I should upgrade to something that wasn't within my means or to something that wasn't what I had my mind set on already. He was casual and friendly and incredibly thorough on the test drive; he was sure to point out all the benefits and features of the car.

When we returned to Maguire from the test drive, I knew right away this was the car and he quickly arranged to have everything in order and said I could drive the car home in two hours!

When we returned and the details about extended warranty, etc. needed to be hashed out, I felt that Mike was explicitly honest, considerate, and thorough through every step of the paperwork process. Again, at no time did I feel like he was pressuring me into something I did not want.

I felt incredibly comfortable at Maguire and I feel that Mike went out of his way to truly establish a good rapport with me. In fact I was so comfortable talking with him that I felt like I had known him a long time. I should also mention that he politely offered me ice cream, water, coffee, etc. multiple times throughout the sale. I declined each time, but he continued to politely offer me these refreshments. It eventually became our running joke and I made a promise to stop on another [hotter] day for ice cream.

While I have not yet had an opportunity to have my Impreza serviced by Maguire, I have still been telling all who ask me where I got it about the outstanding customer service I received at Maguire. Without a doubt, we will return to Maguire for future purchases. Thank you, Mike - I'm so happy with my little car!

I purchased a Toyota Avalon this past week from Maguire and my wife and I had a positive experience. Our salesperson, Victor Cruz, was attentive and responsive to our questions and he worked hard to make certain all of our needs were met. His tour provided us with pertinent information regarding all that the Maguire dealership offers.

The pricing on our vehicle was competitive and we are pleased with our purchase and the overall experience. It was our first purchase from them and we intend to consider them for future purchases based on our most recent car purchase.

Overall the experience was ok, all I will say is watch your numbers on the final sales contract closely...It was getting late on a Saturday and the dealer was closed when I picked up my Audi S4....Being in a hurry to get out of Ithaca and back to Binghamton I did not review the final numbers close enough (my bad)...In typical dealer fashion they slipped one by me and I ended up paying more than I should have...Again, my bad for being in a hurry and not paying close enough attention thats what I get for being in a rush..

Will I consider them for a future purchase ?? Maybe, I'd really have to think about it..I don't care for car dealers and the games they play in general but they all do it..

Speed safely,
Big Mike

Very good service experience at the Hyundai location. I took the car in for 60k service and to investigate a possible warranty issue. They were very professional, fast, and they provide a free shuttle that drops you off and picks you up when the car is done. They did everything as expected, and within the price range quoted, plus fixed the warranty issue free of charge. I wouldn't hesitate to go back down there for any service needs.

My first vehicle, I spent over 6 hours at the dealership. Walked away unhappy. This place, I spent no more than 3 hours and walked away beamingly happy! It was simply perfect. I absolutely loved the experience. We were on a spur of the moment buy. We had a vehicle in mind and got it. At the time we had a loan and they paid us what we wanted and WAY more!! The inside is spectacular. Tons of comforts from lounging areas, coffee, drinks, showers, an on-site mechanic, and more. The salesman got very comfortable and made it be so much more than just a sale. He shared personal stories and information that showed they wanted to be friendly. He also called a week later to see if all was well and that we still loved our vehicle. They offer top end deals, that you'd be crazy not to snag. They'll work with you and have you make all the numbers, whatever will work for your budget and needs. I highly recommend this place to ANYONE on the market for a new vehicle. They have every vehicle you could be searching for.

I recently ventured into the Volkswagon division of Maguire in order to test drive both the 2016 Jetta and the Passat. And I walked out that same day with a lease on the Passat. I had heard the advertisements on the radio that Maguire embraced a non-pushy attitude, with sales representatives who were concerned with being informative rather than sales people. The sales representative I dealt with was Jackie O'Connor, who introduced me to Maguire sales philosophy of treating the client as a family member. And she (as well as the rest of the staff I interacted with) did exactly that. There was no haggling, they went out of their way to help with financing, I was given the bottom line to start with. Everything just moved along in a smooth fashion. Could not have been happier, I have already told other people that driving into Ithaca if they are looking for a car is the best idea they could have. Thanks to Jackie O and the rest of the staff for a wonderful experience!

Price was good. Unfortunately the paint protection is just a wax that they put on . To quote Adam what you are really buying is a contract, we will fix it if there is a problem . They didn t buff it out well choice to bring it back and they will hand wipe them off.

Rust protection (which I bought) is electronic. Salesman told my 10 years, really 5 offered to refund when I read the contract at time of pick up. It s cathodic protection for a car. Work with engineers that work with that it doesn t work for cars, not a continuouis piece of metal.

Moral of the story ask to read the contract first no matter where you buy your car. Don t depend on the salesman or the brochures see the contract. Buyer beware is true. Next time I ll go to Zirbart cheaper and they actually put a product on it, guaranteed for life.

Carin Hooper did a great job working with me to find the right car at the right price. I had been looking for a few months and so was she. She periodically sent cars to me that she thought I might like or be interested in. She was easy to work with, especially as a first time car buyer. Only complaint is that two of the papers were filled out incorrectly after I had already left the area. She over nighted the paperwork to make sure it was as little of an inconvenience as possible.

My husband and I leased our new Jeep Cherokee from Maguire Family Dealership early this month. Jesse Males was our sales agent and was very professional and a pleasure to work with. We shopped at other dealerships in the area and felt more comfortable with Maguire. For sure will be coming back. Thank you Jesse

This dealership has lied to me multiple times... They will tell you you will get your car one day and then when the day come...they magically couldn't get the part even tho you paid extra money to have it get there the next morning. They say they will call you when your car is done being checked out and then they don't call you and just close up shop. This dealership can never stay true to there word. I would suggest staying as far away as possible from this horrible establishment and either buy or get your car fixed somewhere else.

Purchased my first new vehicle at Maguire's. Vincent did a great job even though he was only there for a short time. I got a good deal on a new Dodge Ram 1500 Express. The facility is very nice and everyone was very nice and helpful.

Good car buying experience. Rob was helpful and informative, willing to work with me and make a good deal. He and every other person I worked with was kind and considerate which made everything bearable. Sometimes buying a car can be frustrating with all the work and time and paper work but it was well streamlined and everything made sense. The interior was nice,a very big facility on the inside which was great. This place would definitely be on my list of places to look when I go to buy a car again.

It was an amazing experience throughout the process of purchasing a vehicle. Staff were very helpful, explained the financial process thoroughly, and helped us navigate through all of the benefits of the purchase. Maguire Dealership also gives many benefits in addition to just buying a vehicle such as 3 day/300 mile Return Policy, 3 day/300 mile Refinance Guarantee, 30 day/1,000 mile Vehicle Exchange, and Maguire Family Assurance. One motto is "Our people work on compliments not on commission. and we found this to be very true with our salesperson! Tina Tinker and everyone were great to us.

A very large dealership that carries many brands of cars. The service is pretty good and the staff are friendly and professional. I take my car here for service, and will strongly consider purchasing my next car here. The sales folks here are not pushy and sell based on the merits of the automobiles they are selling. All in all, and good dealership.

This was my first experience with Maguire and it was excellent. Ryan Salino is the man to see!! He greeted us and took us through their sales approach before we even looked at any cars, which I appreciated knowing in advance. This is a company with values. It ended up that we spent half our day at the dealer and it was actually pretty fun. Ryan is VERY knowledgeable about his product, honest, personable, and a little bit hilarious. There was no pressure and it felt like home, they put up with me making 10,000 decisions to get my payments where I wanted and never acted annoyed or as if it was an imposition. It was definitely not just a sale, it was a car buying experience and an excellent one at that. I ended up test driving the car I saw online and came to see and loved it. Ryan and the team were so great I was able to do everything there at the dealer in order to take it home the same day! On a Saturday no less. I shopped around online quite a bit and Maguire had the best price on their product by a fair margin across Western and Central NY and the Southern Tier. Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and made you feel at home! I would definitely recommend Magurie and especially Ryan Salino and I would certainly buy another car from them but I hope it's not too soon because I LOVE the one they sold me!

I live in the Ithaca area and I can not shop and buy here. We have to travel to Syracuse to get a reasonable hassle free car buying experience. I brought my fully loaded AWD car in for an appraisal to get an offer of 8k under value . I was ready to buy another vehicle, and could have gained me as a continuing customer, instead I will not ever even bother to look here again. I will not allow my parents to continue their purchases with your dealership as well, as they rely on my help. A complete embarrassment and shady way of trying to rip off a hardworking local family.

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of driving home ...

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of driving home a 2014 Jetta TDI from Maguire Imports. I was very torn about trading in my beloved 2004 Passat GLS and managing a car payment- this was the first time in my life I was financing a car and I wanted absolute confidence in making this big step. I owe a huge thank you to Alvin Fernandez and his sales manager, Vince, for not only making this experience enjoyable, simple- but also memorable. The process was quick- but also extremely informative, and I knew I was not having anything pulled over my eyes or tricks when my back was turned. From walking into the dealership the Saturday prior- I had arrived close to close, but Alvin stepped right out to assist me, to driving away with my new car I had a great experience through and through.

On Tuesday I met with Alvin and Vince again- and I have to give major thanks to how Maguire trains their employees. I was introduced to every aspect of what Maguire has to offer, and every question I had was fulfilled and I never had a shred of insecurity during this endeavor. Being a recent college graduate- and new to the "job world," balancing student loans and a car payment can be tough. Alvin, honestly, had my financial needs priority over getting vehicle on the road. I have had friends who dealt with dealers who were more concerned about their sale and pushed young buyers into loans that they would end up under water on. Not only was I assisted in getting a great deal I was 100% comfortable with, I also received great financial advice on how to balance loans, interests, and payments.

Being a first time new car buyer, I had millions of questions about every aspect- and both Alvin and Vince stayed late to ensure I was leaving happy. New cars can be very confusing to operate with the high levels of technology they have- before I left Maguire not only did I have my phone connected, I was also assisted in setting up the free trial services VW offers on new cars. This is a feature I would have over looked had I not been walked through this. I highly recommend Maguire for any car needs- Especially the VW store.
