I recently ventured into the Volkswagon division of Maguire in order to test drive both the 2016 Jetta and the Passat. And I walked out that same day with a lease on the Passat. I had heard the advertisements on the radio that Maguire embraced a non-pushy attitude, with sales representatives who were concerned with being informative rather than sales people. The sales representative I dealt with was Jackie O'Connor, who introduced me to Maguire sales philosophy of treating the client as a family member. And she (as well as the rest of the staff I interacted with) did exactly that. There was no haggling, they went out of their way to help with financing, I was given the bottom line to start with. Everything just moved along in a smooth fashion. Could not have been happier, I have already told other people that driving into Ithaca if they are looking for a car is the best idea they could have.
