I had the opportunity to meet Whoppi Goldberg based on the macys website informing the public of her appearance.

Went to Macy's on a recent trip to New York. The store itself has 7 floors with a mix of all departments you would expect to see in a large department store. This store has a lot of character but it's the Christmas window displays that make it. These attract a very large crowd but are spectacular. Getting into the store can be tricky because of how busy it is outside. Well worth a visit if you're in New York. Macy's is located just off times square

Really enjoyed my experience at the flagship store of this historical retail giant. I would highly recommend a stop here just for the experience of being and retail store that has so many floors to explore. Check out the original wooden escalator.

This place probably has everything. I spent three hours trying to find a pair of sneakers/trainers in other shops and they had them at Macy's - should have gone here first!

This Macy's historic (old wooden escalators) and their window displays are always amazing. For spring window display as inside is covered with living flowers. However, note that it is crowded!

Always a fun trip. Busy but still organized and clean!

If you want to see fashion trends here is the place. I like interior design especially during flower exibition.

I love everything about the Macy's location and I particularly love the new redesign, it certainly gives the store a more 'upscale feel' without the upscale prices. Macy's has always been to me a one-stop shop, where I could get things for both my home and my body. They have a great selection of items and a good number of food options, so that if you become tired while shopping, you can take a break and get a bite to eat. One thing I also love is that coupons can be used almost everywhere within the store. It is a win-win situation.

Always has a great selection of merchandise. I gave it 3 stars because the customer service is non existent.

OK so I consider myself as guru of the art of shopping and Macy's is my universal marketplace. To some it may seem overpriced and superficial, nah.....you have to walk between all of that, because if you do you will find a bounty of bargains and "yes" some associates that actually care and are extremely helpful. It's all about waiting , watching and using discount coupons at just the right time. Never buy in a hurry and always be pleasant....very pleasant. Compliment and ask for opinions and advice, remember the associates are stuck in the store for at least 8 hrs a day. Believe me they're looking for a break in their boredom. Macy's is very large and if you take the time and follow my advice, it could become your one stop shopping for family,loved ones and yourself. Peace

I found a knapsack with wheels that I was looking for. My only concern was they had only one brand which is always very expensive. The good side it was fifty percent off.

It's November 2nd and the Christmas music has already started. Ridiculous.

Iconic Macy's was a late evening disappointment in the shoes dept. I couldn't get anyone to pay any attention to me until they told me, "we're closing." I was ready to spend $100 on Clarks or Naturalizers to soothe my poor feet but I ended up leaving without buying anything.

Wonderfull. You find. Everything you need. There is no. Other place like macys

It was very reasonable,had fun shopping, so much to choose from. Definitely going back to shop

Great variety of things, affordable prices and good customer service

Such a great shopping experience not only because of the array of brands available but also due to the layout and the ambience. A must see are the Macy s Christmas decoration which are a treat to the eyes for all ages alike

The beautiful part of the city. It's a tourists attraction that will make their NYC vacation complete
, and it's very strange if you visit NYC and not come to this area. The most famous Macy's is located there, street chairs and tables to rest, halal food carts with delicious food (chicken over rice, yum!). Also, it's very close to Times square, so it's a great area for shopping and walking around.

Macy's may be an expensive option the assistance we received through the wedding registry was priceless and the gift cards we received as a result of people buying gifts from Macy's are great gifts themselves

Awesome dept store. Fabulous sales while we were there! So glad we went. Wish the wooden elevator was working.

This Macy's is the size of a shopping mall. Maybe even larger. I've been here several times and still have never been to every floor. This location has many of the items that typically are not sold in stores. Certain makeup brands, Gucci, Louis Vuitton , Etc that you don't find in your typical Macy's is readily available at this location. It's amazing! This is a must do every time I visit New York.

Store was renovated from the time I was last there a few years ago. Very modern looking and lots of sales throughout the store. Service was great and cashiers all over with almost no waiting.

This is the Macy's flagship. Plan to stay a while. Can get a little crowded (naturally).

Its a very big department store, 9 floors in total. You can find almost anything you need in here. Also great bathrooms

This is all in one store. You get great deals. Customer service is good. We often use this as our online order pick-up store

If you like shopping this must be nirvana, otherwise it's meh...

Not really feeling some of the men's fashions, they never have sizes I need (odd sizes 33 or 35) and little to no attention to male beauty and skin care.... Really bothered by that. Like hello there is a market for that population and u should have some repre$entation of that inclusivity refelected in your product options for male skin care of all types. why do we have to go to women's section for skin care needs??

This store is as huge as it professes to be and will eat hours of your day with its many departments and vast array of brands. If you love to shop and have time to spare you'll be in heaven. The customer service is just as good.

Very Good Shopping store but only if Sale is there otherwise Not Worth

Macy's was great!! It is an American icon to go to this location!! It is a true wonder! The employees are delightful and the atmosphere is so welcoming!! Thank you NYC Macy's for a lovely visit!

Rhonda from Calvin Klein made my experience at this store great. I was buying two coats and she convinced me to try for a Macy's Amex and I was approved and got the discounts on the two coats. She explained ever thing well about my new Macy's Amex card and told me that I get a free t-shirt and give me great directions where to go get the t-shirt on the first floor. She was very sweet and was very helpful. Rhonda made my experience at this Macy's. Thank you Macy's for having Rhonda such a sweet person work in the Calvin Klein section. Thanks.

Jewellery section most sales people are rude they think given things free, will we are customers we pay money some one should give them a training about attitude

It's a Maceys. No cooler than any other Maceys I've been to.

Too crowded for me. Good choice of variety brands but not well organised

Great shopping center with affordable price from babies to adult. You can stay a whole day shopping. Wheelchair accessible, food area, very friendly staff. On Sale all the time, great for tourists with huge saving.

The store is beautiful but the men s restroom was disgusting! Not well stocked and clearly not cleaned very often!

It's chaotic trying to shop for Men's clothes due to several floors that just makes Macy's appear disjointed & the search for the restrooms/exits are a nuisance. This is from a former PA Macy's employee at a reputable mall. Although a guy made the pants refund very quick for my Father, that deserves points.

Shopping.was great and staff are helpful...but very slow

If you can think it up, they likely offer it in atleast two different colors. There's literally 8+ floors to choose from. It's kept very clean and there is plenty of staff posted randomly to assist you in any way.

Great shopping place in a great place. This store is so big that any one new here would be frighten to look for things. Also generally if you are new here, you can hardly find your desired things by yourself, whatever you are experienced shopper or not, you have ask attendants about your shop. This place is in the heart of New York, in Manhattan. All kind of transportation available here, subway at the entrance, there are eight train stops here.

Much better than times square. Tourists are still everywhere. Shops all around.

Lots to choose from. Biggest I've been to by far. Prices were decent. Take the stairs. The elevator wait is forever and more.

Love the efficient pick up location at Macy's. Sometimes it can get long but they have alot of people working quickly so it goes by fast.

Finding what I'm looking for is great. However, going to any department store just don't like it. Why? Crowd!
