MACY'S IS ONE OF THOSE JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING FOR ANYONE STORE. HOWEVER,I AM AS EQUALLY INTERESTED IN MACY'S HIRING AND EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES AS I AM INTERESTED IN ITS PLACE ON THE NY STOCK EXCHANGE. OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS MACY'S HAS RENOVATED AND MODERNIZED SEVERAL FLOORS AND INTRODUCED SEVERAL NEW EATING AND DINING RESTAURANTS INCLUDING AN ATTRACTIVE GREEN SALAD EATERY. GO TO THE SIXTH FLOOR FOR SINFUL CHOCOLATE (GODIVA) INDULGENCES. WE LIKE THE STRONG EFFORT IN MAKING ROOM FOR AND INTRODUCING TO PATRONS--AN ELECTRONIC AND SMART DIGITAL SHOPPING SPACE AT THE 7th Avenue ENTRANCE/EXIT AREA. I was disappointed I forgot to buy a tote bag from this Dept Store on my last visit and was so pleased I got what I was looking for on this visit. However would have been good if they offered a discount voucher to visitors as like Bloomingdales done - 25% off everything. Lovely store and could spend hours just browsing.....

Was probably one of the days times, i went there, due to this virus, i got in and grabbed some teeshirts and got out real fast..

Hard to find what you're looking for and outlets have better savings

Been coming here for years and you will find everything underneath the moon including a food court but I dont recommend eating from it. The 3 stars is more for that and a sales associate on the floor too. The food was trash I literally had to throw most of it out . I went with chicken tenders and fries thinking how can you mess that up . There was no one at the "food truck" for about 10 mins and I asked a guy at the other one who was rude and another guy just sat on his phone. Completely turned off.

Great shop but the staff are very slow to serve you its like they don't care...shame!

The biggest and most packed Macy s I ve ever been to! Like 8 floors of clothing food and drinks Even had the old wooden escalators!

This Macy's, in the center of Times Square seems to have everything!

The big Macy's. Most of my family has worked here. My grandmother retired early when they wouldn't let her take 3 weeks off for a family trip (happened 20 years ago but I still hold a grudge).

Macy's on 34th street such a fantastic store to shop at. A wide variety of merchandise.

Went for santaland..the employees were great and gave my kids a real santaland experience..the santa was awesome...made me feel like a kid again

Took 3xs longer to check out than to shop, but employees are very nice. Just need more of them! Good pre-Christmas sales.

An amazing store who sells absolutely everything you can think of! The Christmas decor is stunning and staff seemed helpful enough. If your in New York it s a must visit, wear comfortable shoes as the story is soooo huge! I would recommend a visit and will visit again myself.

I did sing a lot and no one said they love me. Nice shopping with loads for fun. Need to be more friend Lee.

Shop is advertising itself as the biggest shop in NYC... and in this perfect place escalators doesn't work, and there is 1 men's restroom... with 5 toilets inside... that are overcrowded...

One massive, sick and amazing store! Nothing comes close to this Macys!

Totally worth visiting, however it was incredibly crowdedand difficult to walk around in because it was so close to Christmas. Their Macy's on thirty-fourth Street santaland was particularly amazing... I had no idea what a good and experienced Santa was until I took my son there, it made such an amazing difference.

Love it, can't visit new York without visiting Macys, basement has bargains, great bar and grill and gift shop!

I had a really strange experience here recently. I purchased Prada cologne after being sprayed with a million perfumes in the fragrance department. The cologne was in a sealed package. I live upstate, nearly 100 miles away. I got home to find a bottle that was clearly used and refilled with soapy water...then taped back together, inside of the sealed box. It appeared this cologne was returned then resealed and resold to me. I don't know how in the world that could have happened unless it were somebody that works in the store or they reseal and re-shelf returned product. Luckily my exchange was accepted and the staff wasn't too weird about it. Macy's is great because it has everything under one roof and this store is massive. After such an experience, I likely won't be shopping here again

Always a fun visit - I do not particularly like shopping, but this store has amazing decor, very good restaurants, and cool wooden escalators.

Macy's doesn't need much of a presentation. Biggest department store in the world, and has an accordingly sized selection of products. You can find virtually anything here, though it does lean a bit towards mass/relatively cheaper products and lines, even within the more expensive brands. However, the staff is nice and helpful, and it's still a good location to check out when shopping. It can get pretty crowded, so try to avoid peak times.

It s an amazing store, but like so many Macy s we ve been in lately, it does not reflect the quality of the brand. Dirty carpets, broken floor tiles. I can only imagine that old man Macy is turning in his grave.

Best store in the whole wide world, I love their wooden escalators, their interesting decorations and large selections of eateries!

Many different floors. You can get a little lost at times but the people that work there are very nice and help out. Overall very good Macy s and it s is right by the trains

I went in looking for a medium sized handbag, not too expensive. Went to the main floor first and saw all the beautifully designed designer bags. They were priced too high for me. Went down stairs and spotted in the far corner, "Last Acts" reduced bags, mostly summer but some autumn colors. Found the right size and the right price! There's a bar code scanner to check the price before heading to the cash register. Yayy!!

Best Macy's in the world. It's feels like a whole mall in one. SO COOL

This place is Nasty. I saw a in the dressing room. When I tried on a jacket I got some nasty sticky substance on my arm. Never going back here

Great value. Very helpful staff. Looking for that perfect piece of jewellery????? It has it all. From a needle to a haystack. Full floor of plus size clothes for the larger ladies too. Well worth a visit.

A NYC classic, during Christmas we love to take our children to meet and he's the real thing. Great store, amazing variety and quality, one of the big Apple's top shopping destinations.

A++++ Sales Help. Online order picked up in store had a baseball jacket not a car coat. Go in person. Look at what is really there. Might find a few good surprises. Disappointed in coat selection.

We are visitors from Australia and were very pleasantly surprised, no actually amazed at the friendlieness and helpfulness in the MAC shop and generally. Staff were all very interesting and individual and we found it a refreshing eye opener. lots of fun!

Macy s been around sooo long but not where I live so its always been on my to do list. I ve always liked that movie Christmas Story which focuses on a little girl s experience with Santa Clause in Macy s. The store was not as exciting as I thought it would be just ok. Maybe cause I m not a little girl anymore lol. But I think these stores should be exciting for all ages.

The biggest Macy's that's out there is sadly not the most awesome store of the retail giant. Granted that it's huge and carries all the brands one can or cannot think of, but it felt a little aged in comparison to the other great stores in the area. Everything else is Macy's like, so can't really complain there.

Huge shoes sale. Very busy but lots of staff to make sure that everything was done smoothly. I love the handheld POS devices that the shoe department salespeople use to check stock in seconds without having to walk away.

Macy's in Herald Square is one of the biggest store in the whole country... it's really wow wow!!! There's is not even a thing you can imagine and they don't have, well they have the biggest selection for everyone, best brands and exclusive models only for New York, you can get everything, for the whole family.

Everything under one roof... Its an wonderful place to cover yourself....

Great variety of most all kinds of products you could want, and usually fairly good prices. The (free) personal shopper service is truly excellent. Only downside is that much of the staff is pretty rude, and in general customer service doesn't seem to be their priority.

Before I always shop I know what I want when I go. Plus they have way more selections then other Macy's store I go to, because of the variety they have. I had a fast and easy check out when I was shopping.

It was the outside... Too crowded, not enough staff, didn't buy anything because of the line wait time. However the decorations were amazing.

Such a huge place. So much shopping. Places to eat inside so you don't have to leave if you're in the middle of a shopping marathon. However, during big sales & holiday times it can be extremely congested.
