Shoe store is a mess! I found a UA running shoe i liked, in the right size, but they simply couldn t locate the other one to make the pair.
I then suggested they give some discount on a similar model, different color, but they couldn t do that as well...

High quality, very helpful staff and a lot of clothes for everyone's taste. Perfect!

Large store, very expensive/overpriced, service was awefull. Interacted with 3 sales person, 2 food court attendants and a security guard who I asked a question. Only sales lady at the makeup counter was somewhat helpful. The rest it posted as if I was a bother for them.

Mouse and cockroach Infested department store! Apparently this problem is acknowledged and accepted given that the building is old. Very disappointed in Macy s which used to be the symbol of luxury in NYC.

The only Macy's you have half a floor just for men's underwear!! Never seen or knew there was that many different types and brands. Check out the wooden escalator very cool!!

This place was overwhelming. I love shopping but, this was enormous! The store is literally one block long! You will definitely find anything you are looking for without an issue. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It's a big department store. Not a lot more to say. It seems to have gone a bit down market from the last time I was there. But that was years ago.

I ordered items the night before, for in-store pickup
Was told the next day that the 2 of 3 were not in stock and they were cancelled, and the third item would be ready by the end of the day (the website says 2hr pickup)

This is not how you conduct business. Sloppy work.

Go every year to see Santa and Santaland. The lines are always long but the Elves and the decorations make it worth while. Crowd control is handled very well, too.

This is a great store. It's a huge place with departments everywhere. I advise you to grab a map of the place and plan out where you want to go first. Trust me.

I'm from Philadelphia. I love Macy's but this one in NYC is heaven on earth

I do love this Macy's; this is the only Macy's I ever want to go to. The clothes there are in a reasonable price and decent. The pricing is all compared to the brand, of course. The store itself from the outside looks quite small, but when you go inside, it's like 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. There's about 9 floors of wonders and shopping.

The reason why I am specifically writing a review today is because recently, I have made a trip to this Macy's and I was looking for clothes and accessories. When I went to the Men's accessories section for a watch, I have come across a couple of watches that caught my eye. When I asked for the price, they told me the price (which was quite expensive). Then I asked for the price of another watch, then they told me a price which was more expensive than the first watch. I saw them smiling and laughing, and I realized that they were responding that to me. Since I look rather, very young, they probably assumed that I didn't have the money for that stuff and if I was to be embarrassed or such. I really did not appreciate that laughter from the staff there.

Other than those workers, I have absolutely no complaint of others. Everyone there is quite helpful and friendly. You may ask for customer services, they'll serve. You may ask for directions, they'll direct. Great store!

Only shop there if they have in store deals that are not available online. Online they are way better sometimes!

I have been there countless times and don't mind how crowded it gets, but I do mind how disgusting the 7th floor was. That McDonald's there creates an environment where people drop their sodas and food on the floor and no one in sight to clean. It made me think of what people probably do to the clothes, such as using them for napkins.

It's in the heart of New York, the closest metro is Penn Station.. U can find all branded clothing stuff, house hold items, perfume, bogs and wt all... Must visit if u r into shopping u will find all under one roof.. Discounts all round year but the best would be on Thanks giving day. And close to all restaurants and public transport.

It's Macy's. It's a good experience with the sheer volume of items to shop for. With that being said, things here are fairly overpriced; it's always full of people which means you may not always get help right away, although they do try; don't come in here if you are in a rush.

It's huge!!! Lots of staff for good service! We mostly looked around and had fun window shopping!

Unfortunately Apple store in Macy s doesn t allow you to charge your phone for more than 3 minutes.

Loved this shop. It has 9 floors.
Did not visit every floor.
When I visited there were some sales on so got some really good bargains.

I thought it was different as all commercial center we have in France. I just found a bigger "galerie Lafayette". Nothing interesting for me

Horrible place. Narrow crowded aisles, ugly decor and overpriced.

If you about to buy some basic cloths ... good place to walk around and buy good and cheap.

You can find pretty much anything in this store, but I don t recommend buying it here. Everything is overpriced compared to other stores. My interactions with the staff have been mixed. The greeter was helpful but the individual departments (women s shoes and women s suits) have been frustrating. If you are a local, also beware that you won t get to move at the New York speed because of - you guessed it- tourists. Overall, it s good for variety if you need some thing last minute etc but not a place to frequently shop at, in my opinion

Macy's is the best year-round especially during the holiday season!

Amazing multi level shopping center with everything you can imagine. A little hard to navigate, but they have wooden escalators! They're wooden!

Alot to see, only 1 set of bathrooms on lower level though.

Love it here but pick your time to go so it isn't too busy. Good food too. Usually lots of bargains but you sometimes need to look for them.

Very nice store with all the things you need. Especially the christmas decorations are a must see.

It's quite an amazing place. I don't find it incredibly easy to find a particular department, but that seems minor. For as big of a store as it is, the layout isn't too hard to decipher. Every employee that I dealt with was polite and pleasant.

Hugh. You have Starbucks inside. Great department store. You can find anything in here. Very classy.

Massive store, worlds largest so this has to be on your bucket list.

It was every bit of good that I thought it would be. I went into the Macys in Herald Square in NYC. It felt so good to be back there.

Who hasn't seen Miracle on 34th Street?
Well this is the place! The neighborhood may have changed but the store seems the same to me. I like that Jack's is just across the street.
This is such an easy location to get to. What train doesn't stop at Herald Square?
If you are a visitor to New York you should explore K town which is only a short walk away.
Penn station and MSG are nearby landmarks. The Post office is there as well. I remember the lines of people trying to get their tax returns postmarked before midnight. Thank goodness for electronic filing. I wonder if there is still a 24/7 window?

I did my orders pick up there yesterday and it was very fast and well done! Thanks Macy s for the great service.

I love it Macy s Herald Square. It s the best store because always I m finding everything I need it and more.

This, THE Macy's, is wonderful. It's bright, friendly, busy, and fully of lovely products, all on fancy display. We love coming here and just marveling at all the main floor has to show us. The bathrooms are also a treat, as they are usually clean and easy to access. We especially love the old-fashioned wooden escalators near the elevators. Love this old Macy's, it can't be beat!

Excellent collection of variety of things. You should spare lot of time to explore various items to get best value for money.

It's the best place to take your kids to see Santa Claus

Brilliant, floors never ending. Warm friendly place to shop, have a cuppa and a spot to eat.

Very nice and huge collection for both men and women. You get everything here you can think of with very large variety. It is the only store I ever saw with so many options for you to choose from. Store is too big.

Love this store more than any in world! Such excitement, merchandise, service and beauty. Love every floor, especially now at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Joy! Try very good Stella restaurant on 6th. Excellent pizza, pasta and desserts. Still world's largest and best!

Macys is ok. It's great to find gifts for people when you don't know what to get. It's like " oh wow you overspent for something at macys, how nice".

Lots of people always walking through and around this area. It's kind of an easy place to come and sit after grabbing some food nearby. Right across the street, in the summer months it seems, they have a couple vendors set up selling various foods.

If getting lost in one of the worlds biggest department stores if your thing, then you ll love this place

This Macy's is huge, at Holiday time it's very crowded, but there is so much to see. Make sure to check out "The Story" floor!

Great store near Times Square!! 9 floors of great (extremely overpriced) items!! Clearance items were great in price!! Wasn't happy at having a store detective follow our group!! I video taped it and he stopped! There is a McDonald's right in the store!!

This is the biggest Macy's in the world with over 8 floors. It is very well organized with each floor being a different genre, But the thing is I still get lost. Being New York the prices are very high and you will easily spend a couple hundred dollars there. I personally did not find what I was looking for in terms of black pyramid which they did not have. But maybe you will find something you are looking for.

Tons of sales associates. Too warm and extremely crowded.

If you are here for the Santa land. Its just Not worth the wait. Not worth the travel , or the missed nap time. Santa forgot to give us the ticket for the photo we took with him ( after 3 hrs of hanging around the store for just that) and the guards didn't let us even double check with him right after we left the room. So here we are, four hours after arriving at the store, exhausted and totally uninspired.

THIS PLACE IS HUGE BUT THERE ARE CASHIERS ON EVERY FLOOR AND THEY ALWAYS HELP MAY BE OVERWHELMING

Great everything you could possibly want and more do Christmas well

Macy's is a big place. They have an enormous selection and the prices are reasonable. They also almost always have some kind of coupon available if you sign up for a credit card. The brands they carry aren't as high end as Saks or Bloomingdale's but its worth a trip for some of the basics at good prices. Also, check out the original wooden escalators from the early 1900's on the upper levels. They're quite interesting.

I love the old wooden escalators, with the wooden steps. There are very few left. Part of a Christmas tradition to ride the wooden escalators before seeing the Radio City Show.

Went to see Santa it was mad house but it was worth it

A NY must-do for any visitor. They cater for every budget and taste. Love it!
