Big Sales for the holiday, no long waits at register.

Was one of the best shopping destinations until few years Back, the recent visit saw a downsize in their products, display and employees

The iconic NY department store. Reminds us of Selfridges in London -- floor after floor of quality fashion and merchandise. Worth checking out the sales. How cool to see the original wooden escalators.

Amazing selection, great service, unbelievable prices!

As the world's largest Macy's, this store is massive!!! It's a mall basically. The store offers just about anything one could want or need!!!! The selection can be overwhelming because they offer so much, but if you have time to shop, it could be a home or apparel paradise!!!!

This place is crazy busy, but absolutely awesome! You can find really great deals. Staff is great if you ask for help. Very polite and knowledgeable. Make sure you are ready for long day, plus if get hungry they have good food around the area.

This place is always great, go shopping.... in and out!!

Nice landmark with plenty of shopping. Late at night there were quite a few homeless - my encounter with one was quite pleasant as he was very polite and friendly.

Horrible, dated and uninspiring. Nothing screams NYC than visiting Macy s but it looks like it stuck in a time warp inside. It s so busy that you can t think straight and everything in it is pretty basic. Nothing jumped out at me at all. Maybe I m spoilt in London for shopping that this just felt like I was shopping in the 90 s

I've always heard that they treat their employees crapy but I've never believed it until I was one. The managers talk down to the employees. They have this attitude that's like 'It's going to get done with or without you'. Although it is true, it's no way to treat someone expecially "Your team". It may be a good shopping center but not a good place to work.

Very unhappy with customer service! I bought a small appliance from them that never worked right and finally broke. When I called they proudly told me it was beyond the return policy and they would NOT do ANYTHING to help me. Not even a small credit on a replacement purchase!!!!

Really bad Macy's !!!!

Also their system purges your orders soon after the return time frame so I was invisible to them!!!!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not give them my business and will tell other people of what happened.

The Staff was extremely helpful and even though it was very busy they were still joking with us and made it an amazing visit.

Wife loves this store and they supply comfortable couches for us men!

Wow! Love this location it's a bit of a mess during the holidays but really nice employee's make up for any untidyness.

AMAZING! If you love places like Hamleys or Harrods, this is the place for you. Loved looking round all of the clothes and cosmetics

Huge store. Great decorations. Can find anything you are looking for or at least something comparable.

Prepare to tire your mind and body if you plan a shopping excursion here. For one, there are too few staff to help you find stuff. And you will need help finding stuff because all logical order has been defied in the way things are organized here. The staff that is there is not always pleasant to interact with. The worst part is that you won't find the most obvious stuff you are looking for. For e.g. the right kind of spatulas in the kitchen section. And when you do find it, you'll realize that it is priced a lot more than Amazon. All in all, Macy's is for those who love collecting coupons and redeeming them . For they manage to normalize the markups to bring the item price down to real market levels. The rest just get ripped off.

I love Macy s anytime of the year. Specially around Christmas time.

This is the place I like to go shopping when in New York

The holiday promise of seeing Santa was spectacular. Remember to go online and get your reservation, because this is a popular attraction. We checked in and we were on our way through the beautiful winter wonderland decorations ... it does go by fast so snap those pictures!! (For anyone complaining go to your typical mall, you'll never find anything this spectacular.)
$70 later you'll have 2 pictures, a digital download and a special memory of the iconic Santa! (Macy's does need better signage for where to go from finding the right elevator or escalator to turning left when you get out on the 8th floor.)

Lots of selections! But is always a zoo! I would suggest Lord & Taylor for good price and great selection with less people!

The grandmother of my favorite store. It is so beautiful inside with crystal chandeliers and all of the decadence you would expect to find.

Dazzling! I knew it would be awesome, but oh, my, was it ever! Just phenomenal! Needed a new eye shadow, so it was the perfect opportunity to buy something from this iconic store.

very big and very overwhelming. Almost had a panic attack from being in there on Christmas Eve. I d go to a smaller location because I couldn t even find what I was looking for the first couple of times.

Nice and big department store. I bought Levi jeans at 50% off compared to the Levi's store at Times Square. Macy's also had more sizes and models.

Loved the original wooden escalators at Macy's on 34th Street. A must-see.

The place to be for shoping. Many floors of clothes, shoes, Luxury stuffs and others objects I even don't know. It was very interesting to be there during the Christmas Decorations. It's more beautiful and animated than usual !

World's largest store. Great service for storage of parcels at the coat and package check.
Needs better signage about where the different departments are and what level you're on.

Experiencing maceys in New York is one of the most amazingly rare shopping experiences. Maceys has all the designer brands I love. I definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed walking through Macy's, so much to see

I like Macy's for different varieties of cloth for all ages. But sometimes it's difficult to find good professional help, or can not find any employee when I need help.

MUST SEE DURING THE HOLIDAYS! The decorations are beautiful and the store is a-buzz with life. The outside windows are well planned out and very creative. It may be crowded but take time to walk around history. You must see the old wood escalators that are history themselves - the top two floors still have wooden treads.

What can you say about the flagship Macy's?

The biggest issue you may have is finding your way around. Look for one of the concierges on the first floor for a map and good directions.

Great location in the middle of everything , part of the historic landmarks of NYC.

As a flagship store, this location carries a broader selection of designers and inventory in their Men's Store relative to traditional mall locations. Service associates are knowledgeable and proactive.

Very crowded you will get lost very quickly, but Christmas Windows are good.

Still did not find work shoes. Every time I ask for a size 7 1/2 or 8... Response was...we don't have that size.

A very crowded, touristy Macy's. The window displays in the Winter are nice, but go into this place? I don't know. I've done it, and it's a mess.

Well, it's most interesting store of all Macy's. Especially in the holiday season. Beautifully decorated. Great window displays, always entertaining.
I always prefer this store over our Queens Center Mall - strangely enough selection of merchandise is quite different. I guess they adapt to the tastes of local shoppers.

Macy's is unbelievable!! 9 floors and last wooden escalator in world.

It's more than just shopping at the original bigger box store.

At return visit the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Completely satisfied with the resolution.

World's biggest Macy's in the US it was tired going up and down the escalators.

what a great place to shop, and really well laid out

Full of tourists but love the multiple cashier so not a lot of lines.

I mean can you really every go wrong with Macy's? One stop shopping for pretty much everything.

Flower show starting this past weekend was really great.

Great one day sale. Advise that you go early on order to have more of a selection. Waiting for the next one.
