They have everything and if it's not in stock they'll order it and have it sent to you.

Ms. Bernice knows her way around the kitchen. The salads have really taken a dive, but due to her care and love in what she does I'm still impressed. Lunch was great

I want you to try to get my watch fixed and they couldn't.. they only fix their brand

There's a large, airy food court on the 7th floor. I come only for the ramen at Noodles by Takashi Yagahashi. Always good, but crowded as hell at lunchtime. BE AWARE - they shut down at 3PM.

The selection of clothing lines and household products is good.
But the customer service is a far cry from what guests routinely received from our beloved Marshall Fields. Yes, we still compare and Macy's sadly has never risen above mediocre in this regard.

Lateasha in Women's Better Dresses was like my fairy god sister on 7/22/17.

I was visiting Chicago for my husband's 30th class reunion and wasn't happy with the dress I'd brought to wear. So I stopped in to see if I could find something better.

Lateasha asked me what my husband was wearing and what my preferences and were. She heard me and made some excellent suggestions. With humor and kindness, she gently urged me to try a smaller size. Her sincere desire to assist me and her empowering method for boosting my self-esteem were so needed and appreciated. She rose to the occasion effortlessly.

With Lateasha's encouragement, I bought a dress that was a little out of my comfort zone (a stretchy Calvin Klein white and black sheath with a graphic motif) and I'm so glad I did. As I dressed for our evening, I was so pleased with the selection -- which is a rare feeling. Not only was I comfortable, I felt pretty, sexy, and edgy and my husband concurred. At the reunion, I received several compliments.

Thanks to Lateasha's help, the evening was a success. Thank you Lateasha, you rock!

Lateasha is a gem. She made my shopping experience memorable in a positive way which is saying something as I really don't like to shop. (I also don't typically write reviews but this experience was a stand out!) I hope Macy's makes every effort to retain, reward, and advance Lateasha. She is a powerful asset to Macy's on State/Randolph.

p.s. I can't wait to wear the dress again and will remember Lateasha when I do.

My son and I stopped at the cafe in Macy's from the Pedway. We stopped at Fieldies Cafe for a soda and chips. The store itself was very quiet for a late Friday afternoon. There didn't seem to be to many shoppers in the store while we were in the cafe. Service was good. Not much else to say.

I called and waited on the phone for 25 minutes. When I got someone who told me I can't reship it because it wasn't available to call back in 2 days and see if it is available. So I decided for credit back and when I asked a question she didn't understand what I was saying. It was obvious she was reading from a script and she didn't understand what I was asking. The accent was so thick I kept having her repeat what she was saying, my husband has a thick accent and I definitely can understand when he speak English. I finally got so frustrated I just gave up and hoping for the best of an outcome for my money back. I really want the jacket so if something can be done please do so. Thanks so much!!!

Great on selection. Pricing is wonky... Don't like that the steepest savings require you to use a store card.

In this center I liked a lot. The main thing is the attitude towards the buyers, even if you do not buy anything, but simply look around. And the atmosphere itself, especially on pre-holiday days, when hustle and bustle, but it's not annoying. Take the lifts separately!

Stopped by after wandering around Christkindlmarket. Awesome architecture, you can see the histroy of the building by simply looking at the walls and windows, and they also have some historical fact boards. Didnt even know that there was a restaurant on the top floor! Certainly worth a visit if you're in downtown Chicago.

This is a great store but most importantly a great staff. They were super helpful and helped me find a great dress for the upcoming wedding I have!

The star of the show is the building itself. To Chicagoans this will always be Marshall Fields. A visit during the holidays will get you in the spirit.

Sales staff in men's fragrances a little too much but they have an excellent selection.

Your delivery service is appalling to say the least. You are called the day before the delivery to be given a time frame that could fall anywhere in the course of the next day! What person has a job where you can change your schedule in that tight of a time frame? How do you schedule an appointment for a 50 story high-rise condo unit that would block out the service elevator for an entire day? Clearly you need to give the approximate two-hour time frame at the time of the scheduling process, which is the same business model that most other companies follow. Although I enjoy your furniture selection, I will never buy a piece of furniture from your business again. I will be sure to let customers know through extensive social media posts what they are getting into when they buy furniture from your store.

The actual store is a good Macy's with a large amount of floor space. The walnut room used to be a family tradition for decades and has went completely downhill though.

Lunch at the Walnut Room-making memories. Delicious Butternut Squash soup and the specialty drinks are to die for! Wonderful front window displays and exterior decorations if you don't feel like going inside!

Located in the heart of Chicago, it has prices on quite interesting offers. All foreigners can go to customer service and request a 10% discount coupon on all purchases.

A great place to pick up essentials when visiting downtown Chicago.

Breakfast with Santa was delightful. It was held in the banquet hall and decorated with white lights on their trees. An elf walked around making holiday themed balloons and off to the side was a face painting station. The staff were kind and accommodating and tue food was fresh and delicious.

Very unhappy with shoe salesman in the gym shoe dept. Rude, I told him size I wanted and he brought out a smaller size, he walked away to another dept, couldn't find him and went looking for him, he told me that was the only size they had and grabbed the box from me and tossed them on floor.

Upscale store when looking for that special occasion outfit, but over priced for the average buyer of clothing, Marshall Fields it's not, Employees are not always on hand or polite . Customer service is key to a stores survival.. wonder why Spring Hills store had to close its doors this past month.

This place is huge and has the best selection of any Macy's I've ever been to. Their staff is friendly and the clearance section is larger than most store's normal selection

You can find almost anything you need at Macy's and the service is outstanding

I give two stars for all of the Christmas decorations, they were absolutely phenomenal. Now for the store inside itself disgusting it is dirty it smells like urine it is not kept up well -5 for indoor maintenance. And the people working there or rude and snooty.

Preserving the interiors of the store is going well enough. Macy's everywhere are void of personnel and refined service. Had a somewhat dissapointing lunch. The long European apron worn by the service misslead in quality of service and product. Four stars for the building.

The biggest Macy's I've been to by far. How great is it to walk this historic store and consider how the well to do shopped a century ago. This is a return of the one stop shop.

Had a wonderful time at the Walnut Room for lunch. The tree was beautiful, the food delicious, and the service attentive. All of the store clerks were festive and helpful. The Christmas Windows were extra beautiful this year, too!

For this to be a flagship store you would think they would have a dressing room near by for online pickups. The store is clean but asking cashiers questions seems to be a hassle versus other Macy's stores.

Macy's is like Marshall Field's poor relative. You will find many of the same beautiful and wonderful quality clothes, purses, perfumes, kitchenware, etc., somehow leftover from previous owner, but you don't get the exquisite customer service. And that is what I miss. Sadly, that era is over.

Macys is always a good place to visit especially during this holiday's. I found there to be no advertised sale going on directly after the Christmas day, no associate was talking any macy-wide sale. It was confusing. I did speak with someone at a makeup counter, she was friendly, however the makeup table has dust from not being cleansed in a while, the place was not as it usually is, sorry.

That was an amazing experience. The store offers everything you need for you and your house.

Took a quick trip through Macy's this weekend with my cousin and her 8 year old daughter who were visiting from Georgia. Christina at the Dior makeup counter made my little cousin's whole trip by kindly giving her a little makeover and some samples to take home. Certainly an experience she will remember forever! Thank you, Christina!

I try to visit this store as often as I can.
I remember coming here every school year for back to school clothes with my mom. Then again at Christmas to see Santa.
While they did a facelift, the basic architecture is still there. As r the memories. It will always be Marshall Fields
