Asked a very simple question if the handicap parking spots were just for valet. The employee responded you re not handicap so no you can t use it to which I responded I have a hip replacement and that I in fact do have a handicap sticker. I then went to the counter to file a complaint about this employees comment and he became very combatant and starting cussing out my business partner. Despite all of this I spoke with the owner and his response to this was that he spoke with the employee on how to handle situations like this better... I told him as a business owner that this was much more than a just talk to him matter... I was told That s your opinion and that was it. Absolutely ridiculous and I hope this company gets replaced. This was the location at Earls at legacy West in Plano, Tx.

I would honestly give zero stars if it was an option. Their treatment of employees is awful. During this crisis, theyve not laid people off and allowed them to claim unemployment but aren t paying their employees. They re just unable to live their lives and pay rent. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. I hope you get audited.

The valet attendant mistakenly left the keys to my car accessible during a rush and my car was stolen from Del Friscos in Downtown Fort Worth. At first they acted like we had done something wrong. Once the police became involved, they admitted responsibility but then offered less than half blue book. Unfortunately having to sue to get these guys to pay for my car. Nick Clonts exemplifies the horrible management. Del Friscos is equally to blame as top management buries it's head in the sand.

These guys refused to take responsibility for scratching my vehicle. I had them valet my brand new vehicle last weekend and watched them park it inches from the car next to it. So close in fact that the valet person could barely squeeze out the vehicle because it was parked in such close proximity to the car next to it. Isn't that asking for a disaster? Where is the accountability? All I want is for the door to be repaired and they refuse to take ownership of the situation. My truck is literally a 10 out of 10 in condition. This is the only scratch on it and it's extremely noticeable.

I sent an email to the Risk Manager, Mr. Nick Clonts and he sent me back an apology but refuses to take any accountability whatsoever.

Nick, you owe me a better response and you need to take accountability for the actions of your company. Bottom line.

Make it right Nick,

Their staff claimed a 3rd party somehow operated my vehicle while it was in their possession. Months later I am still trying to resolve this issue and am now having to located the police report.

ZERO stars.

ZERO stars.
We were on a weekend vacation in Denver, 6 hours from where we live. My car was damaged mechanically by one of the valets at the hotel we were staying at, and I had to pay close to $1000 to get it fixed so we we could go home.
Nick Clonts sent me an email regarding my claim, stating they assumed no responsibility or liability for the damage. It was probably the same email he's sent to numerous people based on some of these reviews. I sent numerous follow up emails to him with no response. I finally called him and he told told me the same on the phone. I asked why he never responded to my follow up emails and he told me once they make their decision, they cease contact with the customer. I tried to further discuss this in a professional manner, then he hung up on me. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service.
I would give them ZERO stars, but I have to select one star to post this review.

I valeted my car with Lone Star last week at the Star in Frisco and had a horrible experience. I paid extra to have my car parked out front and everything! Despite this, after I brought my car home and noticed damage to the very pricey carbon fiber front splitter that was clearly caused by them, they are refusing to take care of this since their investigation didn t reveal any convincing evidence that the high school student who parked my car was the one who inflicted the damage. Mind you, this is after I spoke to the attendant in charge who also seemed convinced that the damage was caused by the other attendant, who wasn t there when I took my car back. What kind of policy is this? Being a small business owner myself, I know that sometimes you just accept what your patron is telling you and take responsibility even when there may be an inkling of doubt. I feel like that s what s called being a compassionate human being. It s surprising to me that such a large business and organization can t afford to offer the same level of customer service as we do in our business. Thankfully I wasn t driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini! I couldn t imagine how much more expensive the damage would be that I would have been stuck paying for myself.

Overall, my conclusion is never to valet your car with Lone Star. If you do, ensure that you inspect your car before you get there, when your car is returned to you before you leave the lot, and have some sort of valet-enabled video recorder (which I will always use now). I know this sounds pretty impractical (and it kind of is). Even with more substantial evidence though, I bet they d still attempt to get out taking responsibility.

This has been an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. They are a heartless organization and should not be trusted with your valuables.

Anyone have any thoughts on whether I should pursue legal action for damage to my vehicle that is just shy of $2500?

This is really a ZERO. On June 9 an LSV valet stan...

This is really a ZERO. On June 9 an LSV valet stand crashed into the passenger side of my car. My vehicle was legally parked, but the LSV stand was not secured. Now I have dents in my car and side mirrors that no longer work as they should. After some days, I received an email from Nick Clonts, Risk Manager at LSV, telling me that LSV has no liability for the damage your unsecured stand did to my vehicle.

Over the next few days, we had email conversations that went nowhere so I asked for someone with more authority. He said he's the last word when it comes to claims. He offered to speak with me, but why? I'll repeat here what I've said to him: unless the conversation will be different, what's the point? "NO" is still "NO" whether it is spoken or written. I requested a copy of the insurance rejection notice, and I have not heard a word since from Mr. Clonts. Crickets.

So I'm calling out Mr. Michael Tatum, President of Lone Star Valet. You should be ashamed that someone in your employ - whether it is a valet parking a vehicle or your Risk Manager routinely rejecting claims - treats people with such disdain. My car was legally parked and did not crash into your valet stand. YOUR STAND CRASHED INTO MY CAR! It is certainly not my fault that your valets were negligent in not securing the stand. Surely you have a duty to secure your stands to avoid crashes like the one that damaged my car.

From my perspective, Mr. Clonts' behavior is borderline inept, and I hope that's not the standard at your firm. He claimed that his office had "completed its investigation" and determined that LSV is not liable for any damages. He barely even customized the email template. What kind of investigation doesn't query the property owner involved in the incident? Does LSV have a policy for accepting liability? Or are consumers (potential clients) to just roll over and accept this unfair fate?

This is not over - someone other than me is liable for my car repairs. Since someone in your employ exhibited negligence by not securing that stand, I believe the liability rests with Lone Star Valet.

Now what?

Damaged car. Dissappointed that Lone Star Valet did not take responsibility for damaging my car. When I dropped my car off it was in perfect condition. When I got it back from the valet I had damage to both wheel wells. I was told they did an investigation and concluded that did not do any damage.

It is odd that the reviews are either really good or really bad. Not even sure if they run the company I have a concern with. Will check into that further. But this situation with the reviews looks a little shady to me; especially the ones that are good because they are too over-the-top. The bad ones all have the same issue; damage and denial. If that is truly the case, that is a really bad way to run a business.

Stolen property: My note to manager after they came back and said they couldn't do anything about my stolen sunglasses. Basically it's my fault and not theirs.

I appreciate your copy and pasted note that has probably been used many times over it does nothing to help me and I can easily tell an "investigation" never occurred. Probably pretty routine for your company. When I leave something in a closed glove box, not laying around, and someone goes into that glove back and takes something, it's ok because there was a note written on a little piece of paper? That is disheartening. I would like to think I can leave my car with trustworthy people. It makes your company look bad and the restaurant. Hire trustworthy employees. I know not everyone is like this but it really does make you rethink valet, tipping and the people driving your car. lt.

We had our vehicle valet at Del Friscos in ft. worth over the holidays- there was a little incident while in their care- the team was very apologetic and quick to help start a claim. A big thank you to Mr. Clonts- He was out of office and still took the time to personally apologize, take care of the claim and rental in a timely manor- also was very kind and understanding. I cant tell you thank you enough! Way to go Lone Star!

I filed a claim at the Travis location of Lone Star Valet on Saturday August 12th after I went to lunch at Villa O. I valeted my car while I went in to grab lunch with a few friend. I was there a little over 30 minutes and came out to get my car as I ve done before at this location. When I got back to my apartment and got out to lock my car I noticed that I could not lock it. My key fob lock was damaged and a whole piece was missing. I immediately turn around and head back to the location. The agent on duty who parked my car was Sherwin Massali and this was also who I spoke with inquiring about what happened to my key fob. After filing a claim and waiting over a week to hear back from the claims manager, Nick Clonts, they concluded that it was a mechanical failure on my part. It is unacceptable to damage a customers property and not accept responsibility for those actions. It is poor customer service and unethical.

saw them damage my vehicle. I told the valet and he said he would put a notation on my ticket and to call their claims dept. the next day since this was at 10pm. I called and talked to Nick Cloints in their claims dept who told me to take a picture of damage and send it to him. The picture would not show the damage clearly so in an email he said to call him and make an appointment. I called several times and sent emails with no response. He then sent me an email stating he had completed his review and my claim was denied. Never even looked at damage even after he said he would. I also left messages for a Kyle Henry who is suppose to be a manager? with no response. I have been using these guys at Bob's chop House in Grapevine for years but never will again

On 8/10 I left my baby shower and headed to Fort Worth for dinner. We parked with Valet company and went to dinner. After dinner we went straight home and my husband began unloading gifts. This is where I noticed money missing from one of the gifts. I contact company and even showed them the Life360 map showing our exact traveling. They have refused to reimburse us and claim no theft.

Definitely have to agree with some of the other reviews. They will damage your car and deny all of it. Nick Clonts is exactly how Frank Cash describes him to be. He does not answer any emails for a week or two, and then just emails and says "I've completed my review and your claim was denied." He says there isn't evidence that the valet did it. What is one supposed to do, take pictures of their wheels before they hand them the keys every time? They damaged my 2009 M3 and won't even own up to it. Pathetic business practice and very unprofessional. But then again, that's why it's free valet.

This valet company has been violating the handicap spots located front of businesses in Texas
Thats violation of state and local law and inconvenient for handicap patrons. Making handicap patrons wait for their spots and sometimes leave due to the inconvenience.

Like another customer who recently posted a negative experience, Reagan, I too gave my car in perfect condition to the valet and got it back it the entire front passenger side bump damaged. The valet on duty made it clear it was not his fault nor was he even going to say anything until I brought it up. They took my name and contact info but had no extra forms as they were all FULL so my info gotten written on the back of an existing form. I was told "Nick Clontis" would be calling me and the valet gave me what he said was Nick's number when in fact it was the office number for Lone Star Valet.

I had to call myself 5 days later after making 2 attempts to text Nick. Now all I get is voicemail. Thanks LONE STAR VALET for ruining my Thanksgiving! Nick, you might want to try and show some appreciation for a customer and not bury your head in the sand thinking everything will go away. I agree with Reagan on his recent post. Just park your own car in their spot. They are obviously so incompetent they probably will not notice and shut LSV down.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was parked in front of my place of business and the valet runner cursed at me and told me to move my car, threatening to have it towed. I explained that this was my place of business and he said he didn't care. He was concerned about 1 spot out of the entire parking lot that he had coned off. Lone Star Valet will never have my business, avoid at all costs!

Terrible company! Wrecked my car in valet for thousands of dollars worth of damage and did not take ANY ownership for it! When I called and spoke with Nick he could care less and said once the vehicle is parked they are not responsible for any damages. I have used their services twice and neither experience was a good one. STEER CLEAR OF LSV!!! And feel free to read all other reviews, that are also terrible! I wish I had read them BEFORE using their services. His response was "that's what you have your own insurance for, to file a claim when something happens to your car." My biggest take away, PARK YOUR OWN CAR IN THEIR SPOTS. He said they cannot and will not stop people from parking in a valet spot but not use their services, so join me in putting them out of business and park your own car in their blocked of spots! Why pay for a service that they will not stand by their company slogans!? Dont do it. You wont regret it! Apparently wrecking cars and denying responsibility is a company policy.
