I was checked in immediately and kindly. The waiting room was cozy, with refreshments, TV and magazines. I waited 1 1/2 hours for my oil change. Seemed a little long, that's why only 4 stars.

Jesse and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to get my payments less than 20 dollars more a month than my previous car. I went from base model 2014 Optima to a loaded 2017 Kia Soul...woohoo!
I'm very happy with my decision and would highly recommend Kia to anyone considering buying a reliable, afforadable,quality car with excellent warranty.

Gabe in sales...GREAT kid!!! Their detailing of used vehicles could use a wee bit of work. Dried soda on the back seats...visible dirt and grime on the interior. Pretty much just vacuumed it out and gave it a quick was and called it good. Drink holders in rear seats full of grime. Really need to pay some more attention to detail.

Sales and finance are great, service department is awful. Can't even get them to answer the phone... and they will keep your vehicle without doing anything to it for days, and you won't have any idea why or what's going on because they don't answer the phone. I only get services here when it's a warranty issue - and I usually end up having to go in in person because they don't answer the phone. I get all my oil changes and tune ups at hyundai just down the street, they answer their phone and get me right in and out.

We purchased a new KIA Niro hybrid from Sara Jo at Kia in Anchorage. Sara was the reason we bought from Kia. We found two other cars at different dealerships that were comparable in features and price (+/- $300) but we choose the Kia Niro because of Sara s outstanding effort to communicate with us multiple times by text and phone, to explicitly follow our instructions for providing a quote, and her continual effort to find the car we needed and make arrangements to meet us. We knew we had the right sales person when, on our first visit, she literally ran to get us keys for a test drive (there were other dealerships where they couldn t find the keys!). Sara followed through with us every step of the way, adjusting with our research and accommodating our schedules. We looked at new cars for over 4 months and visited 9 different dealerships. Sara Jo was by far the most enthusiastic sales person we met who clearly demonstrated through action that she was there to serve us and would find the answer to any question we had. We will buy from her again and I am recommending her to my children and coworkers. In addition, this Kia dealership is a positive place. We stopped in and they had pizza and were dancing, laughing, and smiling. I noted their core values included fun and it was clear every time we stopped in, there was a positive spirit there. Sure they want to sell cars, but every customer, sales person, repair technician, and office worker was smiling, clearing enjoying working there. It takes a while to fill out all the paperwork when you are buying a new car, but at this Kia dealership we were laughing, listening to upbeat music, and passed the time in an atmosphere that demonstrated you can be working and still have fun we enjoyed!

I have never gotten a better price or deal on a vehicle Leland was wonderful to work with me and my girlfriend highly enjoyed the entire time we spent there. The management team was also wonderful we worked with Richard Smith and also Ibe made an appearance. JD down in finance was fun and very good at explaining what was going on. I would suggest them to any and all of my friends.

Sales was okay - but service ? the worst, they'll have you sitting there for hours not knowing they were done with your vehicles check up and had your car parked outside until you follow up yourself, not just that but it took us more then a year to have them order a radio for a new car they sold us with a defaulted radio !!!!

Was looking at buying a car from here and went in to test drive it and get an offer for our car to trade. We were in a hurry and let them know up front we weren't buying today, just there to see the car and ask for a trade in value since we didn't have a lot of time. They said sure we'll get it done as quick as we can. We wait for them to look at our car to get us a value and then they said "Oh well there are a couple other people in front of you so unless you want to wait a couple hours or buy now you'll have to come back for the trade in value". They could have just told us that before making us wait. This was after my wife received 2 emails that were barely readable from on of the employees. Then I called back the next day to ask if the car was still available because we were going to come back since we had more time. The guy I spoke with said I'll let you know and give you a call or text back. Never heard anything back. Finally called back the next day and the car had been sold. This is one of the less professional dealerships I've visited.

Everyone is friendly, detail oriented and driven to meet the deadline they give the customer. Every time. I've never had a bad experience and they've been my dealer of choice since I bout my first KIA back in 2011

This is the second time I've purchased a vehicle from Chris Mathis at Lithia Kia in Anchorage in the last 6 years.
I appreciate the time that he takes to help me find the vehicle I really want and caters to my needs.
The first one was for my wife and my two girls.. This time I got to upgrade my truck so I could drive the whole family safely as well as giving me the space I need to work out of.

WATCH OUT! The service department made rookie mist...

WATCH OUT! The service department made rookie mistakes, that could have potentially led to a serious accident. STORY: Took my car there about 3 and a half weeks ago to have them do some warranty work on our 2013 Kia Optima SXL and check out a vibration in the front end. We ended up spending $1300 bucks to get the 90K mile service done and the front brakes needed to be replaced. Everything went well until we picked up the car a couple days later. As my wife was driving the car home she noticed a knocking sound whenever she turned left. We ended up taking the car back to get looked at that same day. It turns out that the service technician didn't tighten the front left caliper all the way after the brake job and it was rattling inside. They fixed the issue no charge as it was their fault and gave us a complimentary wash. Flash forward 1 week, my wife was driving the car home down the Glenn Highway when she noticed the car pulling and not steering quite right. Thankfully she pulled the car over right away. All the lug nuts on the left front tire were loose and 2 were about to come off. She tightened them back up and made it home safely. This is not okay. These are rookie mistakes by supposedly qualified service technicians. Thankfully nobody was hurt, but something needs to be done. The manager Mr. Holmes will not return my calls. I've called multiple times and left messages with Mr. Gonzalez who claims to have passed the messages to the manager to call me back.

Shawn spent his whole afternoon working with me and my boyfriend helping us get a fantastic deal on a great car. Shawn and the others at Kia went out of their way to find any ways to help lower the overall costs and monthly payments to our car. They didnt try to sell us a car that was outside our budget or rip us off with extra fees trying to make a quick buck.
Shawn helped us through every step of the processes, super genuine guy and really cares about making sure that the customer has the best options and choices for the highest quality that They can still afford.

From start to finish , the customer service was awesome. Sam helped us get the SUV we wanted . I would certainly recommend Lithia Kia to everyone . It was busy however the wait was well worth it . That's what happens when your the best !

Update: Sep 2020. They have now increased the regional market adjustment to $10,000. Just fly to the lower 48 and drive up. A simple Autotrader search and you can find plenty in stock at MSRP. The customer is losing on this deal, but the dealer will lose in the long run, because how can you trust and build a relationship with a dealer that is taking advantage of its customers. I understand a slight market adjustment for a "hot" car, but $10K ... ridiculous and shameful!

Price abuse. I went to look at the Telluride and thought it looked decent enough to start figuring out pricing. Went to the Lithia Kia of Anchorage website and saw a $7,000 price increase for regional market. Just to be clear, this is in addition to the shipping cost that the manufacturer costs, it is purely a dealer decision. There's a difference between making profit on a vehicle to cover overhead/grow the company and just ripping off your customers. I could never do business with a company that operates like this.

I honestly went into Kia optimistic on if I would be able to get a new car on no credit being my truck was going downhill on me quick.
And lone behold I was put in an amazing brand new vehicle that I now feel more confident driving. Incredible expertise and impeccable service. I d highly recommend this place to anybody. My experience at Lithia Kia of Anchorage was probably not like most others. Mainly because I had no intention of purchasing a new vehicle when I went to the dealership but that changed once I saw the 2016 Kia Sorento! I worked with Sales Consultant, Richard Suesue. I ve known Richard for years and expected professional, courteous customer service without feeling pressured I m pleased to say that I was not disappointed! If anything my expectations were surpassed with Richard's knowledge of the vehicles and desire to go above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. My husband and I have been without a vehicle for many years. We had to walk and take buses to buy groceries and go to Drs appointments. A week ago Fri my husband woke up and was paralized from the waist down. If I did not have a car going to the hospital would be very difficult as the hospital is 50 miles one way. The employees at this dealership were amazing. We did not feel pressured and they helped us find a vehicle to fit our budget. We highly recomend this dealership and you would not believe what the Kia's waranty and people I highly recomend adding the Gap coverage because if you were ever involved in a accident your vehicle will not depreciate in value when you drive it off the lot.

Went in to trade my old 2012 Kia Soul out for a brand new 2017 !, it's a fantastic car for the price with tons of features, excellent mpg, and completely satisfactory performance for an in town commuter car to downtown Anchorage for a young professional like myself. Also great for hauling my friends around on days off.

The team was great, and actively sought to give me as many discounts, rebates and incentives as I was qualified for. I dealt primarily with Wayne Smallwood for sales and Jeremy Grediagin for financing. Great attitude, professional demeanor and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them if you were even remotely considering a Kia. Or any of their used selection. If you go in and ask for Wayne, tell him you saw John's review, his mom says hi, and ask him to help you in getting to know what options that will fit for you on the lot. He will see to it you are well taken care of. He did for me. Good luck, and have fun!

I was satisfied that the job was eventually done. They got their three stars for their willingness to help fix problems that may or may not have been their responsibility in the first place. They lost the two stars because of the hassle caused me by having to bring back my vehical since the job wasn't done the first time and also having lost all of the items in my car for close to a week. In all the service folks were great and the sales people helped where they could. I wouldn't recomend the body shop though. ( It may be a separate entity anyway, I'm not sure though)

They were all friendly the second I parked my car. Chris Mathis helped me get exactly what I needed both within my budget and lifestyle. He was honest, friendly, and patient. I am a first-time buyer, so I had a lot of questions, and Chris listened and answered all of them. I m stoked with my purchase, and will definitely come back
