The largest turn on about this dealership has definitely got to be the amount of respect that these salesmen give to their customers. I told Robert Everett straight up that I wasn't going to strike a deal the same day - and you know what he did? He respected that decision. Unlike other dealerships in the North Boston area who grilled my ass for a same day deal, Robert at least backed-off no questions asked. But that's not his only redeeming quality: he was also trusting, helpful, and patient with the entire process. This was my family's first car purchase in the last Ten years and we aren't very well off, so even coming to the dealership was kind of a big deal. And right off the bat, it felt like this guy completely understood where we were coming from. I wanted something affordable but fun - exciting but reliable and nothing over-the-top or bottom of the heap. Well, lo and behold, I received just that. I left with a new 2016 Soul-Red Mazda6 Touring with an affordable price and absolute trust in Liberty Mazda (and Robert) with my current and future vehicular interests. Its only been a week, but I love having the best looking red car on the highway.

They went the extra mile (pun intended; they made a trade with another dealer) to get us the exact car we wanted. It's beautiful and we're excited to be starting a long relationship with Mazda, with Liberty Mazda and with Jim for future sales.

We have a local Mazda dealer in our town but we specifically prefer doing business with Fridrik. He was quick to answer all questions in a language we can understand, helped us understand our lease options and payments so there were no surprises and ensured we were fit into our dream vehicles with a payment we could comfortable manage. My family has now purchased 4 cars with Liberty Mazda and every one of these experiences has been top-notch. I worked with Robert Everett for this past purchase, which also happened to be my first brand-new car. Robert, along with his colleagues, were incredibly professional, managed my time and considerations perfectly, and were there to make sure I had a great experience as well as to get right to the sale. I came into LM to buy a new car and within an hour of being there, we were shaking hands and signing paperwork. Robert valued my time and knew what I wanted, showed me his recommendations based on my interests, and fairly proposed to me a deal that satisfied my wants. I would highly recommend any and all customers to work with the team up and Libery Mazda in Wakefield, MA. Those guys made me one happy customer!

Very good service. I bring my Mazdas here for regular service and generally speaking they are very fast an prompt with service. There is a lounge with TV, free coffee, free wifi, and a separate "quiet" lounge with tables and plugs for computer work. I bring my car in, work for 1-2 hours, and then drive home. Nice and easy.

We service our car at Mazda dealerships and we ve moved a lot in the last few years. Our car s battery was replaced at a RI Mazda dealership two years ago and this morning our battery died. Thinking that any Mazda dealership would replace the battery because it was still under warranty, we went to Wakefield Mazda Liberty. The moment we explained the issue to them and presented them the receipt they told us that they simply won t replace the battery and we need to take it back to RI dealership. They event didn t check our car records (and we had our car serviced for a milestone service with them a few months ago). They were simply dismissive, rude, and greedy. They completely ignored the duties of a dealership. Avoid at all costs.

Bu the way, another MA Mazda dealership (North Shore) happily agreed to replace the battery under Mazda warranty.

We recently purchased a car at Liberty Mazda and were very pleased with the entire experience. The sales staff was attentive and responsive from the moment we walked in to test drive the vehicle. The salesman did not pressure us when we went to look at other makes and models, and was willing to work around our complicated schedules over the course of a few weeks. The final negotiation process was straightforward and remarkably painless. Kudos to the entire team.

Had an amazing experience working with Kristen Murphy at Liberty Mazda. She is kind, courteous and above all puts the customer first mentality into practice.

As a buyer, you are spending $30k+ on a vehicle and are looking for the best deal you can afford. I called both Liberty and Wellesley Mazda for a quote on the CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve.

She was respectful and not rude. Kudos to the Management at Liberty Mutual. I have recommended them to my friends, definitely don't go to the snobbish Wellesley Mazda.

Took my Mazda in for service on 1/4/20. Got an inspection sticker and oil change. They were done an hour early, kept Covid precautions, and were kind throughout. They also gave a complementary car wash and cleaned the floor of my front seats. I'll be happy to continue going here for my oil change.

I was at Liberty Mazda about a month ago to get my first car in more than ten years! Having been out of the car market for so long, I really needed to work with someone attentive to my needs, questions and concerns without the dreaded pressure of being sold into something I don't want. I am happy to say that I had a great experience with the entire team from the minute I walked in the door!
Jimmy is an honest and genuine sales manager with the customers' best interest at heart. He listened to what I said, answered my many inquiries and provided direct, clear information that helped to simplify my decision-making. After choosing the SUV I wanted, Larry in Sales basically became my partner for the entire buying process and helped me with every single step, going above and beyond to make sure I was driving off the lot that day! He demonstrated and walked through every single piece of information he thought I would need to know and is a true expert in Mazda. He is excellent at what he does and made me feel at home. Finally, I was sent to Fred for the financing/agreement stage, and he was awesome. He is welcoming, funny and transparent, even offering to help me make sure my new insurance plan is the best I can get...
Overall, I was given the VIP treatment at Liberty Mazda, and the entire team makes you feel at ease while doing something that most people stress over. I highly recommend making the trip to Wakefield if you are considering buying/leasing a Mazda. I promise you will leave feeling like you are a part of the family! Thanks to all of the guys who helped me, and I love my new CX-5!

Paul was great and got a good deal with him but unfortunately the finance manager made my experience unpleasant than a mediocre service experience forced me to give this one star. I was yelled at by him which was embarrassing. I ended up signing with Paul because I refused to talk to that man again. Had i not loved the car so much (color and with the features it had) I would have gone to North Shore Mazda. I left with the vehicle and did my car services at North Shore Mazda but because of a defect in the center console i went back to Libery Mazda ro have it repaired. I was told it had to be replaced that i had broken it and this ONE time it would be free. They ordered the piece for me I never got a call or letter that it came in. I went back after a month or two and they just added a new screw. The top was not replaced. A few months later the screw came out again. I told North Shore Mazda and they replaced it and told me it was a defect in the car. Never returning to Liberty Mazda again. Taking my business to North Shore Mazda!

This is for Liberty's service department: I'm sorry to say this was one of the least competent car service experiences I've had.

My seat belt buckle was broken - that's it, little thing. I made an appointment online asking to replace it. Had anyone at Liberty Mazda actually read the appointment form, they would have called me, explained they don't have the part in stock, and asked if I'd like to order the part.

Instead, I drove half an hour to the dealership, and was told when I arrived that they don't have the part in stock, but they'd take a look and see if they could repair it. Again, this is a seat belt buckle - it takes a mechanic less than 5 minutes to look and see if it's repairable or not. Instead, I waited 2 hours, while the tech worked on other cars, only to be told what I already knew - it needed a replacement and I could come back once they ordered the part.

I spoke to the service representative, who was nice and apologetic, and explained that it was a crazy day and there were some extenuating circumstances. But ultimately this is on management. There were 8 sales reps hanging around in the lobby on a Saturday morning doing nothing, and likely only 1 or 2 mechanics who are overworked and have too many appointments. Hire more techs and service reps instead of salespeople, or don't take appointments that you can't staff competently.

He gave me a great quote up front that beat quotes I had from other Mazda dealers. We went there to buy two cars. After testing them and got the offers, we tried to negotiate. The person got angry, hit the table, ripped the papers off and stormed put. Nobody came to apologize or anything. We had to leave. My friend bought the same model in Quirk Mazda for a better price, (no drama, first offer), so clearly we weren't asking for something crazy.

Update to the reply: Nobody has called me. I guess you are reffering to my friend. The act of your rep was like I described and we weren't upset at all for the price. It wasn't what we weren't expecting, but we were NOT upset. I doubt a lot my friend said we weren't treated poorly. And nobody has called ME and I am speaking for myself only. There were two sales there, so don't reply to this comment if you didn't speak to me. I still says there is no way a rep. can do that and leave the customers like that. This complain is going to Mazda as well, of course.

Had my first Mazda CX-5 service recently and they did an excellent job. I had no trouble at all during the entire duration when the service was being done and they even washed + waxed the car when they returned the car to me. Everything was just smooth and they have a lounge with WIFI so it makes life a lot easy for folks who wants to work while their car is being serviced.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The entire buying process was a stressful disaster. This was our timeline of events.
-test drove the car on Sunday. Brooke was excellent, we drove 4 hours to get this car as it was exactly what we wanted. As we were filling out the credit paperwork I asked their finance manager Frederick, what to put for my annual salary as I hadn't been there a year yet. He says "just estimate" so I did. We put our money down and were on our way. Thought it was strange that we were leaving without a vehicle, but live in Maine maybe they do things differently in Massachusetts.
-next day, the bank wants paystubs for obvious reasons. We send in all the required paperwork (while on vacation from my phone, that's how helpful I was in getting this done)
-for the next week and a half they jerk us around. The bank was hedging because my paystub didn't match my estimated annual salary (which I was told by their employee to do)
- I finally get my dad to co-sign so we could get this deal done.
-with my original deal, I agreed to an extended warranty of 3yr/36000 miles at the reduced price of $966.
-business manager Matthew calls me and says "we got the deal done for you, got you a better interest rate, and gave you the 4yr/48000 mile warranty with a payment of ####" I even mentioned to him "same exact payment as before" he says "yeah I guess it is"
-delivery of the vehicle the next day. I was under the impression they gave me the 4th year for all the hassle and 2.5 week wait. NOPE. They send a 3rd party for delivery and sign the paperwork. They "gave" the 4year warranty to the tune of $1900. Almost $1000 more than the original. My wife calls Matthew to discuss it, he tells her he discussed with me the up charge of the new warranty. NOPE. If he had id have told him to pound sand ill take the lower payment instead.
-vehicle is in our possession. Came with dual DVD players (huge selling point for us we have kids) neither one works. They knew it was a huge deal for us, and just told us to "youtube" it to fix it. The car starts to fall apart and needs several things. We haven't even had it a month.
-call the warranty company to get these things fixed, they tell me the salesman (Matthew) wrote the warranty wrong, and he wrote the expiration mileage as 48000 miles and our vehicle had 54000 at time of purchase. So basically we bought an expired warranty.
-call the dealer to discuss it, Matthew tells us theres no way he did it wrong they're just reading it wrong. We tell him he needs to call the warranty company and fix it. He just keeps talking around in circles and telling us we have a 4yr/48000 mile warranty and they didn't do anything wrong. Completely unwilling to even make a phone call to help us out.
-state of Maine sends us a letter saying they screwed up and need to send the title from the original Massachusetts owners to the state of Maine. Another thing they insisted they did correctly and aren't willing to look into. So I won't even be able to get the title upon payoff until they fix it, which they insist they did correctly and have no willingness to look into.

I would not recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. Two months later and we're still fighting with a completely unwilling to help dealer. I work in customer service and this dealer is every thing that customer service tells you not to do to keep customers. They blame everyone else for their screw-ups, and try to intimidate you into backing down. I called the better business bureau and the attorney general and the only thing liberty Mazda did was try to intimidate me into rescinding my complaints instead of doing things to take care of me. If anyone has any issues they can contact me. My email is on my Google profile, I encourage everyone to go the better business bureau, as that is one thing they brag about is their BBB accreditation. They need to stripped of that accreditation as they're the epitome of slimy car dealers. This is just a summary of what was done to us. I didn't feel like typing all day.

Being skeptical of dealerships along with having no faith in working with an honest salesman, I had my doubts. But I was quickly proven wrong when I emailed Liberty Mazda in regards to a 2014 Mazda 6 they had for sale. Robert Everett emailed me back within minutes and had the car ready to view that night. Throughout the sales process, I knew Robert had a job to do, but he did so in a respectful and tactful way. He was polite and professional. I ended up purchasing the vehicle and Robert took care of everything to get the vehicle ready to be driven off the lot. If your looking at a vehicle located at Liberty Mazda, I would recommend speaking with Robert.

We went in to look at a Mazda CX-9 we saw listed on the internet and walked out as owners of a certified preowned one. We had our 19 month old twins with us who enjoyed the popcorn while we did the paperwork for the purchase and trade in. Once we got to the finance office they were getting a little frustrated with being there for so long, but Chris Ragaini was great and went as fast as he could, with being as throrough as possible, explaining everything to us as when went. He worked very hard to get me the best rate possible, trying out different banks and scenarios to get us the best deal. He was very funny, personable and even offered our boys his yogurt from his own personal lunch. He made the process not so boring for all of us and was great to work with!

They went over every detail and made sure I understood all the ins and outs of the car. This rating is only for the service department, and really only for the intake personnel. I requested a diagnostic and was willing to pay their fee for it (~$150), I informed them that I had changed the spark plugs and ignition coil yet the car was still throwing a code. Instead of doing the real diagnostic work that would be involved, they called me and informed me because I didn't have OEM spark plugs and the OEM coil that they couldn't do the diagnostic. They offered to charge me $450 to install 1 OEM spark plug and coil to then do the diagnostic. I informed them that the code had been thrown initially with the OEM parts so that the aftermarket parts didn't make a difference. Still they refused to continue the diagnostic without going back to OEM parts. I retrieved my car, replaced with OEM spark plugs myself, and moved the aftermarket coil to a different cylinder; as expected the same code returned. I informed the service intake person of the events, and that I thought the problem was likely a fuel injector issue. The service person told me it would be at least $500 to look at that issue and probably $2000 to fix the problem. What happened to the $150 diagnostic fee I wondered. I left and had my problem fixed elsewhere. So the moral of this story is, unless you're getting a warranty service or recall service done, do not go here. They are in the business of maximizing profit, pure and simple, your car being fixed is definitely secondary to the money squeeze.

I had a great experience working with Liberty Mazda. I had a relatively strict budget to adhere to and the salesman, Pierre, worked his hardest to make sure my budget could be accommodated as much as possible. Not only did Pierre work hard, but he also made sure the process wasn t stressful for me, which is always a major plus when making a big decision like buying or leasing a vehicle. I was surprised in a good way by the distance Liberty Mazda as a whole was willing to go to meet my needs, and I felt happy to come away with a high quality vehicle that still worked within my budget. So if you want a good vehicle, knowledgeable sales personnel who understand your needs and constraints, and a place that will work with you, Liberty Mazda is the right place to be.

We bought a cx-9 from liberty and it was the easiest car buying experience we have had. We test drove one at a much closer dealership but were very pushy and deceptive about the price. Not only was the buying experience great but I know we got the best deal possible. Our salesman Frik really went above and beyond and delivered the car to us an hour away on his day off! It was an enormous help considering we have a 6 week old. Would definitely do business with them again. Highly recommended.

To start, I was a bit nervous to go through the car buying process. Upon entering the store I asked for Chris and was greeted by him. He made the experience welcoming and didn't waste any time, he set me up with Paul Denning. Test drove the car right away and went to working up a deal. They worked with me on getting a price that was extremely reasonable. Due to me being young, the finance part was a bit rocky however, Paul did everything in his power to get things to work. Left nothing on my hands. I can't say enough about Paul, he bridged the gap between being a sales person and making me feel as if we were in some ways friends. He made himself very approachable. Seriously, besides the cars being amazing, come here for the great customer care.

Everyone I dealt with at Liberty Mazda was helpful, kind, and easy-going. I did not feel pushed to buy anything, the dealership didn't have to, because the value of the car spoke for itself. My mom and I actually had fun leasing my Mazda, which not many people can say of car shopping! I worked with Jim Samson, who was great! He attended to my every need and gave me great advice. I also liked that he wasn't fake or pushy. It was such an enjoyable experience!

I will never do business with this dealership again. We were blatantly lied to regarding the terms of the extended warranty that the finance person pressured us into buying. Have had several issues with the vehicle. Three years later I m still paying for an extended warranty that is useless to me. Very dishonest tactics used here.

Brooke was a great sales person throughout the whole buying process! Had a great experience from the moment I walked through the door to when the time I drove off in the new Mazda 6! She directed us through a test drive that handled all conditions so I got a better feel for the vehicle. She didn't put any pressure on me to buy a car. I will most certainly do future business with her and bring my vehicle in for service!

I will be recommending this dealership to everybody I know that is looking for a new vehicle!

Excellent group of people who are professional, polite, efficient and highly capable of taking care of your Mazda.

They give massages in the waiting room while your vehicle is having maintenance done...okay that's not true, but the rest is.

Fridrik was an awesome person to test drive cars with and discuss the differences in the Mazdas. He gave me visual charts of side by side comparison on models, was honest about the differences from car to car, and could not have made the process to buy a new vehicle any easier. I am 2 weeks into my new CX-5 and I wouldn't have it any other way, I just absolutely love the car!

My regular service advisor is Scott and he has been excellent @ communicating ...returning calls promptly, helping me get parts , giving realistic time estimates for the work to be done. I have a 2008 RX8 and there are experienced technicians who are knowledgeable and precise in there repairs. I check there work over each time after a service and they have always been spot on.

Purchased: 2014 CX-5 Grand Touring. - Originally shopped around at Seacoast Mazda, but didn't feel great about the experience and what they were asking for the car I was looking at. Decided to make a trip to Liberty Mazda, then planned on heading to Northshore Mazda thereafter, but ended up buying a car at Liberty so no need for the extra trip! The experience at Liberty was great, I was greeted at the door by Brooke, and from there on out she provided me great service. She was very knowledgable about the CX-5, and took the time to show me the ins and outs of the car during the test drive. Although we ran into some delays with my insurance, she was patient and worked with my insurance company to make sure everything was squared away, a couple days later she drove the car up and away I went in my new car! I've had it for a week, and each day i've loved the car more and more. Thanks Brooke and everyone else at Liberty Mazda!

Fridrik was great to work with - I went in quickly one day and told him I only had 15 minutes, so he did a great job at condensing everything to show me and did not waste my time. Then I went back and he did a great job answering my questions! I also love the car!

Worst dealership we have ever worked with. The Sales Department is absurdly unresponsive and impossible to connect with on the phone (VM boxes full; automated messages stating they are closed despite actually being open). The idea of even trying out the Service Department is laughable. It's been almost a month and we still have not received our reimbursement for getting our inspection sticker elsewhere despite repeated promises. Buyer beware...

Had a great experience at liberty Mazda. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. This was my first time dealing with getting my own car and Pierre & I think Mike at the front desk made it so easy for me. I was a little intimidated coming into a dealership instead of one of the smaller places but from just talking to them, I got the feeling they were simply trying to best deal for me. Didn t feel like they were trying to take advantage or jack up the price in any way. Thank you guys so much!

Wish I could give them negative stars. They messed up replacing my spark plugs and I when I came back to informed them that the engine light suddenly came on after a few miles driving, they said they couldn't find the problem. I had to go all the way to the Natick Mazda dealership where they figured out that they messed up the wires which was causing the coils and injectors to misfire and need to be replaced. Cost me $2005 to fix the problems they started!
