We service our car at Mazda dealerships and we ve moved a lot in the last few years. Our car s battery was replaced at a RI Mazda dealership two years ago and this morning our battery died. Thinking that any Mazda dealership would replace the battery because it was still under warranty, we went to Wakefield Mazda Liberty. The moment we explained the issue to them and presented them the receipt they told us that they simply won t replace the battery and we need to take it back to RI dealership. They event didn t check our car records (and we had our car serviced for a milestone service with them a few months ago). They were simply dismissive, rude, and greedy. They completely ignored the duties of a dealership. Avoid at all costs.
Bu the way, another MA Mazda dealership (North Shore) happily agreed to replace the battery under Mazda warranty.
