I did not buy a vehicle from Lexus, but I did test drive the new RX350. When I asked how it differs from a similar Toyota he said he didn t know. He should learn, but it s better to say that than BSing an answer. He was not famiar with any features on the RX versus competitors either. When I mentioned that is seems the same size as a RAV4 he said NO, it s WAY bigger, more like the Highlander from Toyota (Remember I m testing the base RX350 not the new L edition with the 3rd row). It turns out the RAV4 has a total volume of just under 99 cubic feet, and the RX350 a total volume of about 100 cubic feet, ... so almost the same. Except the RAV4 has more cargo capacity than the base RX model. The Highlander has 87 cubic feet behind the driver seat and the RX350 has 56 cubic feet... NOT EVEN CLOSE! Clearly when it comes to cabin and cargo volume, the RAV4 is the match for the RX350 and NOT the Highlander. I certainly won t buy a vehicle from a dealership that does not invest in making sure it s sales staff know their own product.

My 2016 RX 350 is fantastic .and so was the Lexus Southpoint team! Joald Liaz was happy to walk me through the different cars and what features came with the different trim levels for the RX 350. At no time did I ever feel pressured by Joald, and because of his great service and professionalism, I didn't feel the need to "shop around". After deciding on my new car, the finance team was able to find a great plan to get my car. Joald still contacts me to follow up with how everything is going with my new car and to make sure I am happy.
Phenomenal customer service all around. From the warm and friendly receptionists, to the non-pushy sales staff (Andrew) we felt well taken care of in entirety. A first class establishment for sure, and a pleasure to deal with.
Bought a used Lexus and felt it needs a four-wheel alignment. So I took it to Lexus of South Point. The technician put it on the machine, also took a road test drive and concluded that no alignment was needed. They explained this to me and did not charge me for all of these. -- I understand it did take the technician's time and effort to do all of these. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Lexus Southpointe disappointed when we bought the nx fsport 2015 we were offered free oil change as long as you own the vehicle but now anytime we try to book for oil change we are pressured to get other services done i dont think we need other services just oil change. I bought 2 vehicles from them.It used to be great place not anymore. we had maintenance service done but now we are due for oil change but cant book because now we have to get other service done to get that free oil change. what a joke thanks
Do NOT buy the hybrids. Bought a RX hybrid, been having battery issues ever since. The car will not start half the time in winter, very unreliable. Dealer checked the car and the answer we get has always been there's nothing wrong. Lexus may make quality cars, but STAY AWAY FROM HYBRIDS, the dealer either don't know how to fix it or they just don't want to.
In one word...incredible. Take a mental image of the average car salesman (pushy, greasy, shady) and then reverse it. These guys are professional, exceptionally friendly, willing to go that extra mile and very transparent. I dealt with a salesman by the name of Ganesh, who was a phenomenal guy and admirably handled all my requests. The finance team was equally exceptional and did their level best to get me a fantastic deal. If nothing else, I would strongly recommend that you walk into their amazingly plush showroom and experience first hand one of the finest customer services experience. No other dealership will work this hard to "earn" your business.

I recently purchased a second vehicle (Volvo used) from Lexus south pointe my first purchase was a (new Lexus sedan). I was happy with My first experience, however I recently found out that my first car loan, issued to me by Milan (Financial manager) had what most banks call a balloon payment loan monthly premium was not to high , and at the end of the term an additional lump sum needed to be payed in order to complete the financing. I did not know this at the time and the financial manager didnt give me any details, I was excited to get the car trusting that lexus south pointe was giving me the best deal and service. I found out almost a year later of the horrible decision I made. I also remember that after making my first purchase Milan (financial manager)advised me that i could call him back a couple of months later to refinance my car and shop for a lower rate in order to reduce my payments, i took his word and I called and called month after month and Milan never called me back until approx 7 months later only to tell me that he couldn t help me, It gave me the impression that they were only interested in getting the sale intitially. A year later I shopped around for a second vehicle and I found a nice car on the Lexus south pointe website, I live approximately 5 minutes from the dealership so i decided to give it another shot because of the convenience. Long story short, I end up purchasing the second car (used Volvo) i again meet with Milan and I ask him if to refinance my first car for a lower rate along with the financing of the second used car. Days go by, I don t hear anything, I call to speak with Milan, he doesn t call me back, finally he does and gives me the same excuse he always did I was busy in meetings, and with other clients, I still haven t heard anything back from the banks for the car loans . While I m waiting to hear back, I do my own homework and within 24 hours I find a loan for both vehicles somewhere else with a low rate and good options. I continue to call Milan, and i finally get a call back Advising me that he found a loan for the Volvo at a (XX%) high rate! And NO loan for the Lexus!. I find it curious that I was able to get better results in less than 24 hours than someone who does this for a living (Milan). Anyways, I go ahead with the purchase and sales agent advises me that the car will be ready for pick up that same day with the registration etc. Later that day I call back Lexus south pointe advising them that I m on my way to pick up the car with the certified cheque in hand, Milan tells me that the car will not be ready because no insurance information was provided, at this pointe I was upset because there was no clear communication with the sales agent and Milan, I then ask Milan why was I not advised of that earlier when I was told that the car was ready for pick up, and Milan starts yelling at me on the phone and being u professional!. Bottom line is I feel that Lexus Southpointe, doesn t do their best for you, they are nice at the beginning and at the end treat you with less importance and are very unprofessional. They don t keep their word and they don t find you the best rates, you have to do the financing on your own. I still am puzzled of the fact that I (knowing very little about financing) was able to get outstanding results in comparison to someone Milan that does this for a living. I would recommend to not take their word for it, do your own homework and don t take on Milan s false promises , all you will get back is sorry i couldn t call you back I was busy with other clients and mettings lol yeah right!. Hope this review helps someone.

Since the day I bought my Lexus RX350, I've had nothing but amazing service at Lexus South Pointe. Everyone is super friendly and always takes a second to say hi or even a minute to talk. They also remember you by name. When ever I get my SUV serviced, Gary H. is always the guy that takes care of everything. He knows cars inside out and will tell you if something really needs to be done. Last week I got my car cleaned (presidential package). I had a few concerns when I picked it up and I asked him to be honest regarding my expectations and he was. The few concerns I had were fixed promptly. He's always very polite and in a good mood. Another thing I like about Lexus is that you are never bored while waiting for your car. I sometimes get on the massage chair, have a snack or even a pedicure/manicure. I would definitely recommend Lexus South Pointe.

went a month ago to put $1,000 REFUNDABLE deposit on 2020 RX350, was told repeatedly by salesmen it was refundable. went to sign deposit paper and guess what, NON-REFUNDABLE checked off, was told not to worry since it was dealership policy it was refundable, irregardless i told him to check off the REFUNDABLE box. fast forward 1 week later, i decided to not buy the car and get my deposit back. NOW the story begins, absolute uphill battle just pulling teeth, back and forth with financing director over a span of 3 weeks, and still no refund yet. followup phone calls ignored as well as emails now. UNBELIEVABLE. they will take your money easily but giving it back? expect it to be a fight.
also pay no mind to these 5 star reviews, the salesmen ask customers to give them perfect scores on surveys and reviews so they are meaningless, been told great things about Lexus of Edmonton (west end) when i do decide to buy the RX350 thats where i will be going.
My experience with Lexus South Pointe was great. Everything went as smoothly. After days of driving, I have found some problems with the car, among which the most troublesome thing is the OUT-OF-DATE NAVIGATION. And I have no idea why a new car should have such a big shortcoming. Waiting for solution...
would give less then 1 star if I could , took vehicle in to get oil changed an two guys came up to me an said oil pump is shot an if I don't replace it asap , it will cost me thousands , come to find out when I took it some where else , they told me it was windshield wiper fluid leaking , went back 6 months later an they told me those two guys were fired , yea but how many people did they rob in between? If I ever buy another one it will be from Calgary !
I've had to get regular servicing and a couple repairs done here on my now 10yr old Lexus because it is close to where I live, and unfortunately the service department has real room for improvement. Up-selling on servicing, forgetting to call me when my vehicle is ready, forgetting to get the shuttle to my location when requested, and pricing/quotes for work that are more expensive than the competing dealership in the city. The service staff are generally friendly however, thus the three stars instead of one.
That was such an amazing experience! Once i got into the building Kevin Harrington kindly approached and asked i have i been helped already i said no and thats when all journey has began. We have found the vehicle i was interested in, we had a ride at which everything he have explained and answered my questions. On top of that i was told about features that i wouldn t think of they exist. I felt like Kevin isnt just another salesman, he truly believes, knows what is he talking about, and taking pride of what is he doing and all that with the highest respect to me. Lexus RX cuz thats the model we drove is a pure quality in every detail! I had the comfort of ride the way i wanted and was pleased to have Kevin next to me. After the test drive we got back into the building and we had a walk through the facility: golf room, conference room, the patio on top of the building. I didnt feel pressured at any point, instead i was treated with respect and kindness! Thank You Kevin Harrington! I am so apperciated for everything you have done for me!

Traded our Mercedes Benz and Ford for an IS 250 and RX350. I love both of our cars..... Our experience was so awesome that I will have no hesitation of referring my friends and family and people I know to this dealership. Our salesman Brandon Cardinaux was great. No pressure sale but always there and ready to answer our questions. On the day of delivery of our new cars, Brandon was there to assist us again and making sure we had this wonderful experience and the knowledge how to use the gadgets in our new cars. Aside from the wonderful gifts and gift certificates they gave us. Brandon made sure we are satisfied with our cars that are sparklingly clean from top to bottom. Shelley Connick and the lady who ordered the rims and winter tires for us are very friendly as well. We felt welcomed and were well taken care of.
They delivered the car to our home in Calgary. There was absolutely zero inconvenience for us even though we bought a car from Edmonton.

Not a Lexus level experience purchasing a 2015 LX 570, the used car and Finance departments should be avoided at all costs.
My husband negotiated the price online with the salesman as we live outside of Edmonton and used LX's are fairly rare, the salesman was upfront with any defects and even sent photo's of things he wanted me to be aware of. We were told all maintenance was up to date and the carfax showed regular interval trips to the dealership. This gave us confidence in travelling to buy the vehicle. Once we negotiated the required repairs to be completed before pickup and the price was agreed upon we gave a down payment to the finance manager, booked an appointment, and booked a flight to go get the LX! We expected an offer of an airport shuttle, but nothing was offered, so my husband took a cab and chalked it up to the cost of buying remotely along with the airfare.
When he arrived at the dealer he could tell they forgot he was coming, hesat in the waiting area for 25 min while he noted some guys frantically running out to the lot and saying they'd be right back. Eventually they invited him back to the shop area where they were detailing the car and pointed out a few more issues that they didn't tell us about before he traveled there (Back TV screen was smashed), and that the repairs agreed upon weren't corrected (Driver Air conditioned seat blower needed replacement). From here he was led to another waiting area as the finance manager didn't have an appointment for him and was with another client, here he got to wait for another 20 min. Once the Finance manager came in we had an entire new set of negotiations on the price due to the missing repairs and newly identified issues. Although it costs $3,000 to have the screen repaired at your dealer and $1,800 to repair the air conditioned seats that were supposed to be done they only offered him a $2,000 credit toward the $5k in costs that we would have to incur at another dealer- saying that we can just buy an Ipad and book an appointment to the repair another time (even though they knew he traveled). At this point he felt like he needed to agree to what was offered as the alternative was to book a last minute flight back home for $500 with no vehicle whatsoever so they knew they had leverage in the negotiations. My husband left the dealership angry about the entire experience and not at all excited to be driving the vehicle he was so excited to purchase only hours earlier.
A month later we booked a service appointment at our local Lexus dealer as we were going out of town for work for a couple of months and wanted to ensure we were up to date - $700 in maintenance was due with some of the items even being overdue based upon the mileage at the time of purchase, warranty and a battery that was already past its prime.
Our experience with South Pointe Lexus was horrible to say the least.

Here I was, fresh off a quick jaunt to Vegas, beaten and bruised by a town that always wins. I came to Lexus via EIA to pick up my vehicle, a broken man, and stuck with a buddy s girlfriend who doesn t ever stop talking. You might think I am exaggerating but heed this, my skeptical friend - our ride from EIA to Lexus included 15 minutes of one giant run on sentence; while I blacked out for some of it, I awakened to her jibber-jabbering about how her dad has a knee injury from when he was 18. No one asked ANY of that, believe me. Anyways, I got to Lexus and there s Mr Dave Wowk, always a pleasure to see, and THANK GOD, he had everything ready for to go. I believe he sensed my pain and got me out of there fast. Regarding Panda, my beloved 2016 Rx 350 (white/black with red interior), everything was stellar. The detail servicing was a home run, by the way. All in all, a great job by the Lexus team. Oh, and they picked us up from the airport, very helpful of Lexus and would also explain why your shuttle driver came back dazed and confused. Do not agree to give rides to buddy s girlfriends.

Very very unpleasant experience with Lexus South Pointe. Myself and my fiance went their to finace an older Escalade they had. We weren't able to come to a price point which was fine but were than told to come on and look at newer vehicles so we could have better payments. So went went in a picked out a Jeep Grande Cheeroke which according to one of their sales men Michael told us would definitely work out for us. He told ua to come in the next morning and sign papers with Millan, who never showed his face at all might I ad. They next day we woke up bright and early to speak with Milan and het our new jeep. We called Millan and he refused to take our calls the entire day. Finally we got sick of waiting and went into Lexus. Again we asked for Millan who did not ever come see us and a manager instead came out and spoke to us. He said he was getting it dealt with "this instant" than we proceeded to sit in his office for15 minutes while he talked about the phone about a non related issue. Than another fiance manager whom I canot remember his name came in and said He was going to deal with it. He was much nicer than anyone else we spoke with and he than got Michael the sales guy in to tell us that they couldn't come to a reasonable decision. So all in all they completely wasted our time. And pretended like we didn't matter because we weren't millionaires. We left there feeling bad about our selves and unworthy. Their customer service is the ultimate joke.

I've always been a little skeptical with regards to the salespeople at car dealerships because of several negative experiences. Overall experience was great. Tony on the sales team was very informative about the car and had tons of additional information to make the sale with ease. Milan was quick and efficient with paperwork, and finacing, this was probably one of the better experiences ive ever had with the finance people. Also when it came to pickup the car, the staff were very nice to show all the bells and whistles about the car.

I brought my car in to get the tire pressure monitor fixed and I could not believe how amazing the service team responded to my needs. Five out of five for service and I love my Lexus but when it is time to buy again I would most definitely buy from here. Excellent friendly service. Thank You.....

Started my search online and received a prompt response to my inquiry on a certified pre-owned ES350 being advertised. My Sales Consultant, Bryan Rose, set up a time for me to test drive the car later that week and worked with me through the sales process to close the deal the same day. Since then he has answered any questions I had, even getting my satellite radio up and running.

Lexus South Pointe appear to be well organized, nice dealership. Was out Saturday visiting all dealerships and checking out all new SUVs on the market. Arrive at Lexus at 5:50pm, sale department greeted us, "We're close at 6:00pm if your not buying, but if your buying we're staying". During my conversation with my wife about other SUVs Sales representative over heard, he advised, "If you are looking at other cars you should not look at Lexus". My reply "I can look at any vehicles I fell like". Sale representative politely ask me to leave the dealership and I did leave just before 6:00. I was disappointed by Lexus service of the Sale Department, I have not been to a dealer since my last car purchase. Maybe the Lexus South Pointe sale representative had a long day, clean up, close up and go home or lack of experience or I just my luck I acquired the wrong sales representative. Not sure if I will every return to Lexus South Pointe, I was very embarrassed when asked to leave dealership [It like getting kick out]. When I think about it, Lexus builds one of the best vehicles on the market, and need better representation with knowledge of sales and service. I am a little slow in purchasing vehicles, usually takes me about a week or two to decide [not 10 minutes or I wasted 10 minutes dropping in to your Lexus dealership]. Visited Lexus Of Edmonton, sale representative mostly explained and reviewed vehicle highlights and answered all my questions. We did buy Lexus RX 350 from Lexus of Edmonton, will be picking up this week. I wanted to purchase Lexus from Lexus Southe Pointe due to I live near the dealership.
Went to Lexus South Pointe for service today and was extremely disappointed. I am driving their Sports SUV and they usually give me a complimentary car wash. Normally they do great job but today I received my vehicle in poor condition ever. I tried calling the service manager to which i received no reply and I also left a voicemail which was unanswered. On my second attempt i was told that she is busy conducting interviews. Really disappointed today as I have been with Lexus and this location for the last five years.
Unbelievable service! I had a low tire and called the 1-800 number. I had a service vehicle there within 30 minutes and filled it up. Advised me to have it checked sooner than later so called South Pointe to see if I could come in and have it looked at. Two hours later I had the car in and tire repaired, all at no charge. Lexus is the best and that is why we will continue to support this brand and South Pointe Lexus
Dan Rowland and Milan Rezek, where amazing the service was the best, I have ever had! I have a huge list of things that I really appreciated. First off, there is zero pressure to buy, which we really appreciated because we had been turned off other dealerships' pressure tactics. Secondly, they understand that couples need time to discuss things in private, so you never feel like you have to make a decision right away. Thirdly, they have all the car proofs on site so you can see as soon as you ask. Fourthly, the purchasing process was quick and painless, and they even contacted my insurance company to make sure I could get the car the day I needed it. They are also located very near to a registry so you can get all that stuff squared away very quickly. Lastly, they provide other services like free life time oil change and even gave me free 4 set of winter tire with Lexus rims at no cost to me . All in all they are very kind, and they let the cars sell themselves, and we left feeling positive about our decision and we are still very pleased with the car we purchased and their continued customer service
Here I was, fresh off a quick jaunt to Vegas, beaten and bruised by a town that always wins. I came to Lexus via EIA to pick up my vehicle, a broken man, and stuck with a buddy s girlfriend who doesn t ever stop talking. You might think I am exaggerating but heed this, my skeptical friend - our ride from EIA to Lexus included 15 minutes of one giant run on sentence; while I blacked out for some of it, I awakened to her jibber-jabbering about how her dad has a knee injury from when he was 18. No one asked ANY of that, believe me. Anyways, I got to Lexus and there s Mr Dave Wowk, always a pleasure to see, and THANK GOD, he had everything ready for to go. I believe he sensed my pain and got me out of there fast. Regarding Panda, my beloved 2016 Rx 350 (white/black with red interior), everything was stellar. The detail servicing was a home run, by the way. All in all, a great job by the Lexus team. Oh, and they picked us up from the airport, very helpful of Lexus and would also explain why your shuttle driver came back dazed and confused. Do not agree to give rides to buddy s girlfriends.
So I must say, I'm very impressed with Lexus South Pointe. Woke up this morning with the driver front side making the most loud "nails on the chalkboard" sound I've ever heard. After taking the kids to school I headed straight to the dealership hoping for the best. Once there I was greeted by Aubrey Alas and within minutes was checked in and sitting at the Skydeck. 30 minutes later the issue was fixed (rock in the rotor) and all that had to get done was the complementary car wash. I should also mention that I didn't have a proper appointment and was still handed a voucher for breakfast at the cafe.
Other great employees are Shawn Goodwin, Milan Rezek, David Lam, and Ravi Soman. I've been a BMW royalist since 2006 and the amount of service value I've received throught Lexus has converted me.
These guys had the best price, lowest mileage, best shaped vehicle in Alberta. I drove from Calgary to get it! Beautiful dealership and top rate service. Kudo's to Virkam, who called me on Sunday just after I put in the web request. He earned my business.
What a classy place! I visited Lexus South Pointe on a Saturday morning to meet with Vikram to look at a used Toyota RAV4. Even though I was not a wealthy customer looking at brand new vehicles I was still treated like I was important and valued. He spent two hours with me going through all the details of the car fax report, inspection and financing. Vikram was very knowledgable, professional and patient. He provided me with everything I needed to know to make an informed decision without pressuring me. I also really like the atmosphere with the comfy massage chairs, free wifi, donuts and friendly staff. Although I haven t made the decision to purchase a vehicle yet I would love to give this place and specifically Vikram, my business. The girl at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful when I asked her questions.

I was in with my 2007 Lexus LS460L for some warranty work. They made 2 mistakes and forced me to come back, especially when i never deal with them in the first place but they called me out of the blue. this is the 2nd time i have had issues with this dealer with maintenance work. The service was around christmas time and took more than a week to complete, and then 3 months later i have had injector issues. all they did was reset the light and told me to go drive the car..... and then the same issues literally 50km after the dealer.... horrible service...
