I initially became a fan of Kuni Lexus before ever actually buying a car from here. I purchased a 2007 Lexus is250 from CarMax back in 2014, and it needed routine service and a couple major recalls, so I had to bring it to Kuni's Service department a few times. The service techs I have worked with, Bill and Nathan, are terrific and very knowledgeable. They explain everything in detail and layman's terms well, don't suggest stuff that you don't need, and have done both recalls with free diagnoses of other potential issues. As bad luck would have it, my is250 crapped out last week due to a faulty transmission. My first call was to Bill for his expertise, who passed me to one of their sales managers, Daniel. When I arrived to look at cars, I met a very nice Sales Consultant, Charles Wilson, who I would absolutely work with again. (We ended up having a personal connection as well, which made the car-buying experience that much better). Charles even suggested I keep the car overnight to test, so I didn't feel pressured to decide that day. When I came back the following day ready to buy (only if the numbers made sense), he helped me during the negotiation phase Although I had to go back & forth on the price a few times, that was expected and it never felt uncomfortable with these guys. After purchase, they connected me with Rob, who gave me a hands-on tutorial of all the car's features and electronics, etc. That guy knows his stuff and was a nice way to exit.
As bad luck would have it, I got in a freak accident the day after in my new car, on the way to work (not my fault nor the car's, an unexpected road hazard hit the car). It was a terribly unfortunate situation, and I had to have the car towed back to Lexus. The roadside assistance took forever (3+ hours!!), but that may be the fault of AAA or the tow company the used and not Lexus. Anyway, the car needs repairs beyond what they can do in service, so they gave me a loaner while I wait to have the car towed to a body shop. Bill also waived the diagnosis fee after empathizing with what I'd just been through. These guys are top-notch, they made a difficult situation easier on all levels. Highly recommend.
