My name is Alberto and I went into the emergency room last night evening for chest and acute throat pain and the experience was amazing. From the beginning (triage) nurse Brittney (she was on it like I haven't seen!), to Jerry, Kathleen, Omar, the PA and Dr. Larson to the admin staff... I mean the whole team was amazing, they were fast, responsive, sensitive, thorough and caring. In the couple of hours that I spent I did not see a second of slacking.
They guide you step by step guide you and keep you informed of whats going on. They also use a wall chart to give you all the info so you can keep your loved ones informed. Yep, this is my place without a doubt. The BEST ER EVER !!!
G-d bless you's guys!
Alberto

Dr. Lindsey Newton told me on a Wednesday to go home and take a hot bath, without taking a urine sample or blood test after teller her that my side hurt tremendously. I told her I had been a college athlete and I know when something is wrong with my body. It was painful, and I was not exaggerating. Two days later I was puking in urgent care while waiting for a doctor because I had a kidney infection. She should have taken a urine sample and trusted my word. According to the urgent care doctor my infection could have within hours or a couple days, would have turned sepsis!
The visit did not start off well. The checkin nurse gave me the wrong patient tag on my wrist. Another nurse came in to take it off and accidentally cut my shirt sleeve in the process. But the staff were able to complete the assessment and I was on my way.
I only have good things to say about this hospital, the special attention from the nurses and I was really treated by two wonderful people together with the midwife, my thanks for doing my labor .
My water broke at 31 weeks and was admitted and the while staff was there one hundred percent super friendly, kind, and professional. My husband is a pipeliner and left to go back to work after being there for 24 hrs after rupture and then my baby decided to come, he wasn t able to get there in time for my c section and two of my nurses went in with me they were super supportive and took pictures for me and my husband once my little girl was born. The doctor who delivered her was such a sweet heart, even the anasthesia personnel was wonderful after they got my baby out he helped me relax since he seen I was really nervous and made me feel comfortable. After my baby was in the NICU for 4 weeks and all the nurses that took care of my baby we re absolutely wonderful with my baby s care they went above and beyond for my baby and I. I would definitely recommend this hospital for delivery and will definitely go back for our next baby! I was impressed by far one of the best! Thank you to all the staff who take care of my baby and I! My husband and I were very happy with everything! God bless every single staff member of labor/delivery.
THE WORST SERVICES ... OVERCHARGING DUMB HOSPITAL ... WILL SEND YOUR BILL TO COLLECTORS FOR NO REASON DESPITE MAKING MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND WOULD NOT LET YOU PAY ...... WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND EVEN TO MY ENEMIES !!!
Sis was admitted last night, i called this AM and spoke to a 'nurse' who didn't ask who I was, just proceeded to give or what I thought was going to be an update, but knew NOTHING....No Dr morning rounds. Nurse said she knew NOTHING about that either.. Now its the 2nd day and sis is still there...HORRID PEOPLE....Sue and Angela, are so-called nurses who don't know anything about anything...THEIR WORDS. IF THIS IS THE KIND OF LAZY PEOPLE THEY HAVE WORKING FOR THEM, THEN I GIVE THE PLACE HALF A STAR. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
I've read most of the negative comments about various experiences of others here at The Los Colinas Medical Center but I myself have nothing to say but positive things from my experience. I'm here with a dear friend whose going through a serious medical situation right now with all the tests being ran and the staff here has kept me informed every min and let me know where hes at. We were referred here by his cancer specialist and we were running so far behind schedule because we were so turned around and didn't know where to go. The Laboratory Specialist and Doctors fitted him into their Schedule instead of rescheduling us to come back. It's a beautiful facility and the cafeteria surprisingly has good food and the prices are reasonable for a meal. Thank you LCMC Laboratory Personnel...for your assistance and special care everyone was so nice.
This hospital by far has the worst customer service in American history!!!! I would never recommend any of my family or friends to use this location as a life saving hospital. The communication to the patients is horrible and is lacking human contact. This location should just close their doors to saving lives and helping the ill get better. I hope you never use this location as a place for health concerns and/or issues.
I am here now 2/ 2017 For my mom has been Dx with gallblader issues. Third day now and it has been a great experience nothing compare from other hospitals. In the ER the nurse was great explaning the name of the medication and what she would experience....so she wouldn't be alarmed. The doctor was great did all she needed to do. DR. Fernandes was amazing in explaning endoscopy procedure...and came to as soon as finishing the produre to keep me posted. Dr. Alibhai who also performed gallblader removal was very detailed and we appreciated the feedback of the procedure. Nurse have all been great in the floor. I am thankful I brought my mom here first time. All doctors and staff went above and beyond.
Had a great service with receiving my baby at Labor and Delivery. The charged nurse and the night shift nurse on 01/11/21 that is Makenzie, were my God sent angels. They showed an exceptional love, comfort, care and professionalism. Because of them, I had a smooth delivery. The hospital is so efficient and equipped with caring nurses in general. 4 star because the house keeping was a zero. The nursery department also did a great job, with Shannon being the one who rendered some great exceptional services. Overall I had a good experience here and will definitely return here for services. Big thanks to the Labor and delivery team!!!!!
From our visit to the ER, to the surgery the following week, the staff was amazing. The administrative processes were smooth for each visit. Judy in the ER went above and beyond, even calling the doctor to get us an appointment the following morning. Monica our nurse during surgery was kind, sweet, and thorough. Kimberly at check-in did the utmost to make sure my wife was comfortable as we waited.
This hospital is totally awesome! I gave birth on 9/23 to my second child after 13 years. I have been in Texas for 4 years and this was my first visit to a hospital. I was extremely nervous because I chose my doctor and hospital by google reviews. My doctor Jose De Leon along with the labor and delivery/postpartum team did an excellent job. I was scheduled for an induction and I was so nervous going in that I started crying. The nurses did a great job reassuring me that everything was going to be okay. The food was awesome and the patient dining associate (tray deliver) was super nice.My labor and delivery nurses were Elaine, Naelyn, Erika Postpartum nurses were Sherri, Mary, and Gina
Had to go to the ER on Sunday night 9pm-ish. They were very efficient. The doctors and nurses work together and one by one get the labs and everything done so quickly. The nurse, PA, and doctor all asked plenty of questions and listened fully to what the patient said. All of the staff was pleasant and personable. I would highly recommend. They do take Medicare. and are just so so efficient in check in and registration. They don't waste time at all. Dr Larson, nurse Mickey, nurse Irvin, the tech Chris, the PA Paul all helped us. They were all so so nice and caring and professional. Check in was through a kiosk and was fast and easy using your ID. A lady in Registration came in the room after we were called in , and she rolled in with a cart and took the info while we were waiting between labs so we didn't have to sit at a window and fill out a ton of paperwork. My family is very interested in health and medicine so we asked a million questions and no one seemed annoyed or bothered to answer our questions.
The nurses who were assigned to help me were very professional, friendly and courteous. The patient care techs were kind and very attentive. The doctors were informative and empathetic. Overall, everyone was courteous and professional. I really appreciate all that was done for me during my stay and Medical City Las Colinas.
I highly recommend to all my friends and family to come here for their medical treatment. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. No matter where they send you in this building, everyone is eager to help you. Thanks to you all for the best experience I've ever received .
I came to the Emergency Center on 2/7/18 with a severe abdominal pain. The pain was so intense that I couldn't sit or speak and was crying in the waiting area. The male nurse at the window kept telling me to fill the form and that I need to wait since I was third in the line. That may be true but none of the other people waiting were crying in pain or going through a life threatening situation. I mentioned to one of the PA at the other window but he also didn't pay any attention to my pain or to my condition. It wasn't until I had been there for about 20 to 30 minutes and I gave up and told the person that I will not fill the form and I told him how intense my pain was that he finally called the wheel chair to take me in. Later on I was diagnosed that I have kidney stones. I am not sure if thats the kind of training these staff go through. They are totally careless and have no empathy and busy chit chatting while U suffer in pain and pay them a premium because its an emergency center.
My visit to Medical City Las Colinas was exceptional. I had to have plastic surgery completed after surgery for skin cancer, and the service was caring and top notch.
I had a week stay in the hospital with exasperated asthma. The food was excellent. Most of the respiratory therapist were excellent, one or two were above average. I'd give a them 5 stars but for a few disappointments that were minor. All in all they saved my life and took very good, almost excellent care of me.
So apparently the ER lies about treatment. My daughter and I visited the ER after a car accident. She was not injured. I was. She never received treatment. I did. I drove to the hospital after 3 hour of discomfort at home. She came with me because she's a minor and I couldn't leave her alone at home. This was in December of 2019. I was treated. She wasn't. After a few month I get a bill for myself and daughter. I expected the one for me. But my daughter? Surely it was a mistake. I called the hospital to dispute the charges . They said they would review and get back with me. A few weeks later I get a letter stating. The charges are valid and that my daughter was treated and even came in with a neck brace which change the emergency level. This was laughable. Just to remind you she was not injured. She never had a C collar on. Neither did I. They're either liars or they're confused.
I had surgery this afternoon and I tell you the staff was A-1 and really took care of me. They are nothing like their Dallas location. I highly recommend them. I ve never seen such caring staff from the top to the bottom. I wouldn t change a thing.
I have been in the outpatient section for complex procedures and for 'simple' blood draws--the Welcome desk is bright and shining with the lovely lady that is nearly always there!!! The medical staff are pleasant, helpful, and never act like you are an inconvenience. I recommend to anyone looking for a caring, well-trained medical facility! 10 stars.
Hospital services, doctors, nurses and other staff were so helpful always got good explanation on what to do and what not. One star left because of ac/ heater problem encounter which is corrected later.
Kiona Singletary took great care of me, and made me feel calm --I was scared to pieces! She was extremely kind to me and very thorough. I thank Dr Remme and Alyx so very much. There are two men and one lady from the X-ray dept that were just simply wonderful to me. Please let them know I appreciate them! I had fallen (actually landed on my face) onto my concrete patio. I was afraid, scared, and I hurt. The people in in the ER are professional, caring, and so very smart. They showed an absolute best level of care. My heartfelt thanks to each member of this outstanding team!
I've had my fair share of experiences in the ER with myself during pregnancies, etc., but I had never been to Las Colinas Medical Center. When my 8 month old broke out in severe diaper rash that was bleeding on a Saturday morning, I panicked. None of my other kids had had diaper rash that bad. Because I didn't want to wait the 8 hours at Childrens or possibly 2 or more hours at Baylor, I tried LCMC. What an experience! From a totally professional and awesome nurse at check in that saw us to a triage room within 5 minutes of getting there, to the doctor who allowed me to express my concerns without discarding them since I'm not a "doctor," the whole time was as enjoyable as it could be considering we were in the ER. I highly recommend the staff and the facilities. State of the art, first class, etc. I think the negative reviews must be written by some people who think treating people like dirt will get them faster, or even free, service, and when they don't get that, they take it personally. You want free service? Go down to Parkland and wait forever and leave LCMC for those of us who truly appreciate it and it's staff.
The nurses and doctors on the 3rd floor are awesome they went up and beyond to help us during our delivery of our son thank you so much for everything y all did
I would say this is the worst experience ever felt with pre registration process for my Labour and delivery regards with my due date in 3 weeks . The online registration and phone registration is very bad .. I personally did my registration online but received no confirmation or status of my profile being verified or checked .
They don t give proper direction in leading a patient to get confirmation on pre registration
Went 2 times in person to concierge desk & it gives frustration to visit & being sent back with no proper response .
The lady working at the concierge desk had given us bad customer service by showing rude behavior and not allowing to get a proper response & confirmation about my profile being registered or not or any good response .
My question to Management is - How would a patient get confidence on the hospital if patient doesnt get proper response or satisfaction during pre registration process itself ? Pls try to revisit the issues pointed out & help patient find satisfaction in your service . Thanx
My daughter made a visit to the ER. They literally sent her away and billed us $875.70. $688.00 of this was for services which consisted of Tylenol and eye drops to see if she had a scratch. The one thing my daughter knew is that she didn't have a scratch as the pain was not on her eye. In addition, the physician doesn't take Blue Cross so the $187 paid to him was considered out-of-network and doesn't go toward her deductible. This facility is nothing but scam. They pry on those who do not feel well and must seek emergency services. I would steer clear of this hospital and most definitely do not seek emergency services.
Medical City - ?? Not sure how to answer. First time I was there for I was very dazed and confused. Been having seizures and the hospital said they could find anything and released me with a tee shirt and shorts, had no socks and shoes. Never asked me if I had a way home. Of which I did not. Finally I found someone at the desk to help me. If you go there make sure you ask for a social worker they will help you. Very sad with my treatment.
We had nothing but the best experience, it was our first time having a baby and every single nurse was excellent super helpful and so gracious they were warm and welcoming, we had the best experience at the hospital. I highly recommend Labor and delivery at Las Colinas medical city!
I had an amazing experience. I gave birth on 11/11 and had so many amazing nurses. The staff was friendly and the head nurses were extremely understanding and accommodating. I would 10/10 recommend.
If i could give no stars i would i was diagnosed with the wrong thing twice and not to mention I have waited 4 hours and still haven't gotten any attention. This is the emergency meaning if it's urgent i shouldnt have to come the next day because the doctoes didnt care to see what's wrong. I have gotten bad service time and time again from this hospital alone. They must hire anybody nowadays because this is the most unprofessional hospital I've ever been to.
Great genuine staff made it all the better. Found out something I would not have known about my health had I not been in so much pain.
Minus a star because with the virus in the atmosphere there was 2 hulking, coughing, n absolutely should ve been separated but with limited resources I understand.
I do not recommend Las Colinas Hospital in Irving, nor any of their HCA affiliates. The billing practices of this hospital and HCA Healthcare are unethical and unprofessional. I learned this 7 years ago, but why I didn't learn my lesson- I don't know- I delivered my son at this hospital in 2005, and they entered some coding incorrectly, which caused me to have an extremely High bill. I called the billing/accounting department countless times, and the first two times I was on the phone for an incessant amount of time and both Reps informed me that the coding was entered incorrectly- They told me this- I didn't ask- I took their names and when I called back a while later, because I got a bill from a collections agency- I was Rudely told by another Rep that they do not know who I spoke to in the past, but the information was incorrect, I therefore told them where they can put their bill- anyway, I recently went to their imaging department, which is 7 and a half years later, for a mammogram and had a biopsy procedure. They billed me and I later discovered that they billed me for the procedure from 2005- I contacted the BBB, FTC, and the Attorney General of Texas to report them. I am not done, this is unethical and I refuse to sit back and let them do something like this, because if they did it to me- there is no telling who else they will do it to. I am not real concerned about the $237.00 dollars, I am concerned about their practices.
I was shocked that the superior Customer Service experience. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The Team was very understanding and knowledgeable about what was happening.
I have read most of the negative reviews of this hospital but experience of me and my wife is totally opposite. Our experience was very good. We had our baby at this hospital. Staff were very supportive and helpful during our stay. They explained how to take care of new baby really well and also provided useful reading materials.
Jan 15 2021: Had hernia surgery on this day, Jan 15 2021 The nurses on the Pre-Op/ Recovery floor were exemplary. They answered every one of my questions in detail as if they had nothing else to do except cater to my whims. This is my second surgery at Med C, the first one was a heart valve replacement (Dr. Michael McBride surgeon), and I would NEVER think of going anywhere else. Oh yeah, the surgeon Dr. Steven Schierling (hernia) and the Anesthesiologist were fantastic- experienced, friendly, and to the point. More like a 5 star hotel than a hospital.
I was impressed with Medical City Las Colimas from the moment my wife walked into the ER. A trained attendant brought a wheelchair to her car and within minutes I was in a hospital bed and being administered oxygen at a very high flow rate as two nurses took vital signs and prepared IV s. Two physicians visited with my wife and I within the first hour. I was kept in the ER area for several hours with frequent if not constant attention, then transferred to a room in the PCU. I stayed there for 17 days as my requirements for auxiliary oxygen slowly diminished from 60 L/M to 2.5. During that time I had wonderful attention from many, many nurses and felt TLC from each and everyone of them as well as housekeeping personnel and one afternoon an IT specialist that was working on some glitches in the computer in my room. I had several visits from a person from administration to make sure I had no complaints or problems. The nurses were especially wonderful and not a single one ever complained when I tore off one or more of my heart monitor leads while repositioning myself in bed, sometimes several times per shift. I felt bad giving them extra work but they assured me that this is just a part of their job. Once my auxiliary oxygen requirement dropped enough that I could get out of bed without assistance, I received several visits from a couple of different physical therapists and an occupational therapist in with advice and instructions in preparation for my return home. I had visits by at least one doctor every day and sometimes by two. Care was very thorough, very caring and very professional in all phases during my stay. In addition to that, food was good, quite tasty and with a good variety. I would not recommend a hospital stay to anyone, but if one is required for you, Medical City Las Colimas is an excellent choice for high quality care.
The staff and hospital don t care at all about their patients. They only care about getting their money. Went to the ER with pinched nerve and could barely move my arm. The doctor and nurse treated me like drug addict and would only give tramdol. After I explicitly told I was already taking it and it wasn t doing anything to help my pain. I would die than ever go back to that worthless, greedy, heartless people. It s a great place to go die. It s by far the worst hospital in Dallas. I immediately went to Dallas Medical Center and was treat for sever nerve damage. The Medical city Las Colinas hospital are nothing but a bunch of greedy staff. Who won t care if you died right in front you from. I personally would rather just die than ever going back to terrible hospital.
as long as you are ready for your doctors office to never be able to get your records go ahead and come here. they are the hardest place to get records from. I have never had such a hard time getting medical records from a hospital before. the only other place that is as hard to get records from is dr satish goel in irving. please don't go here unless you do not have a primary doctor.
Was just discharged, thank you so much to the great nurse who took care of me and also to Dr. Courtney Wilemon....you were awesome too. Thank you for giving me the medicine while I was there and prescriptions as well to help me feel better. Great care!
Dr. Patel was not communicating with my regarding my care. When she did she would tell me one thing and then switch it and say she never said the previous thing. I was told I was not aloud to step outside and if I did I would be discharged knowing I need emergency surgery. I was highly disappointed and frustrated with the lack of concern regarding patients comfortability. I will never go back and don't recommend anyone else to. Go to Medical City of Dallas they are much more polite and cooperative.
Absolutely amazing healthcare, concern, and time in making sure i'm ok. I had a verrrrrrry stressful 2018, and it took its toll on my health. I drive from Arlington to go to this one when I get to feeling reaaaaally bad. Exceptional, polite, thorough care every time!!
I had been there bleeding at their Er for more that 3 Hours, Yes bleeding after ear surgery, and They saw it and they just didn't care enough to take it seriously, I had to serve myself at their restroom and change the cotton many times. => Message for their customer service: I don't need you to respond to this review saying Thank you .... will work on that and make it better. .... But I need more than that coz It feels unfair , Because I paid the bills faster than how long it took you to serve me.
My nurse was jennette (red hair and glasses) she was so amazing its unbelievable she made me feel so comfortable, answered all my questions, kept a smile on her face and gave me conversation 10 thumbs up to you!!!! Quick service no wait !! My doctor was great as well just dont know to spell his name but great job!
My exam was very quick and I was able to go about my day w/ out much delay in my busy schedule. Brian: The Radiography was very helpful and did a great job w/ patient care with me.
This hospital is racist against African Americans! You can be in so much pain and they will still lie to you and say nothing is wrong. It s a shame! All these hospitals care about is money they have no reasons to care for people of color as they do whites!
Was seen very fast and was very helpful, quick service and things were taken care of very quickly and professionally. Really appreciated the work they did.
The ER is pathetic - I took my sister here and they wouldn't say if they accepted her insurance (she has common one). They said she would need to call in herself to find out which I think is ridiculous. We ended up having to look on their website to find out that they do.
1st time at this ER , didn't like Dr. Nanda's beside manner she made me feel stupid and uncomfortable but the check in nurse and my nurse (Kelsey) I believe that's her name were awesome, RN's are the best. Overall definitely recommend this hospital.
Last night was the worst ever in the er had been here twice before and the service was ok but last night was it for me last time coming to this place Dr.Kenedy is in the wrong field with that horrible arrogant attitude of his not willing to listen so stuck in his way and raised his voice all because a question wasn t answered the way he wanted refused to give me anything for pain after asking over 3 times even the nurse heard how I was coughing and stated it sounded painful I can continue on about the hours I spent there but this is enough if you visit there er if he s on the floor just leave and find medical attention somewhere else
Just had my first baby here last week. The L&D, postpartum, and nursery staff was AMAZING! I couldn t have asked for a better birth experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for the best birth experience and care possible.
I have a major surgery in this Hospital on 4/6/17. With Dr.Enganno that in my opinion is one of the best and most wonderful Gynecologist here in Texas. Since my Pre-Admission test I feel super welcome and secure that I was in good hands. The Staff at the moment of my stay was really professional well knowledgeable in my medical questions, very informative and courteous. The hospital facilities and the surrounding areas was really clean, well maintained, very modern and very tranquil ambient. The food of the cafeteria is absolutely delish. Everything very fresh, excellent selection in the food menu and very good portions. I can't stop recognise a few people over there that really make my surgery experience and recovery go very smooth. Nurses: Mrs.Ann, Mrs.Nathalie, Mrs.Seema, Tech.Liseth, Tech.Grace. All of them always looking the I was comfortable and I don't have pain. Even helping me to take a bath. To the l believe, Hispanic Heritage lady that help me in recovery after surgery, the I can't remember because I was still under the anesthesia effects, but I do remember the you was so patiently lovely with me, I believe I was sort of yelling nonsense stuff because of the anesthesia and the pain of the surgery, and you was so sweet! with me. To the anesthesiologist that I was so scare of the surgery precedures the may happen consequences, the I don't see your name, but you look from Mediterranean Heritage. The African-American Breathing Specialist that your name I could remember because my memory is officially getting old, but I remember how kind and sweet you come to my room to help me to learn how to not catch a pneumonia after a surgery and my abdominal area doesn't hurt when I breath, laugh, sneeze and cough. I do remember that your accent sound from the other side of the world and last but not least, Front Receptionist Mrs. Monika that welcome me with a smile in her face always, having such a good enthusiastic and happy way receiving, informing, guiding and helping the people. In conclusion my experience in Las Colinas Medical was really wonderful. Keep up the good work guy's! Thank's for EVERYTHING!
Im writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend. He cant because he just had a minor stroke 2 hours after leaving this hospital. Which could of been avoided because he shouldn't have been discharged to begin with. This place discharged him with elevated blood test results and an ekg that should of warranted at least more care than what he got. The hospital he is at now did the same test only 2 hours after he left here and they said his cardiac numbers and kidney. Numbers should have gotten him admitted or again at least cared for a little bit more. His blood pressure leaving This facility Las Colinas Medical Center was 222/153. Last time i checked that isnt stable and not even close to being well enough to be discharged. So im not understanding why he was let go but it doesnt matter now Mrs. J Smith the lawyer already knows. And of course my baby was smart enough to take pictures and record conversations so its all on record. Apreciate it and congratulations Las Colinas Medical Center you are officially worst than Houston Northwest Medical Center in my opinion. Have a good day you'll be hearing from us soon. And be thankful it was only a minor stroke because my 4'11 behind would of been up there to let yall know something besides a google review. God Bless!!!!
Every single member of staff with whom I interacted was professional, courteous, and friendly. The facility was clean and the process was very organized. I had a wonderful experience!
We had our 3 children there and they were very attentive and caring. They were able to guide us when we were first parents. Great communication from all the nurses and every department and you knew what was happening each step of the way. We would have liked if the lactation dept would be available during the weekend like other hospitals. Overall we had a great hospital experience.
My experience was a disaster I took my daughter to there ER on 3/26 due to Asthma and shortness of breath due to me knowing my child and her health it s a good thing I didn t take the ER doctor or head nurse advice and just shove meds down her throat that they prescribed her my daughter after two breathing treatments she left there the way she went in shortness of breath and can t breath cause they said it was nothing else to do that her vitals were good and they didn t hear any wheezing and don t Do X-rays when Asthma related first I ve ever heard of well guess what Doctor and head nurse she has been hospitalized since Monday 3/26 when we left your facility and entered children s hospital where she was rushed straight to the back when we walked through those ER doors for treatments, IV fluids and etc... you didn t hear any wheezing because she was so tight that air was not flowing to have her wheezing after being hospitalized and being put on continuous treatment she finally started getting relief where she can make a sentence without getting short of breath and cough without being in so much pain on 3/27 its a good thing that I know my daughter and when something is not right and I knew that service we got on 3/26/2018 at around 1or 2 pm was not right my child should have not left there filling the same way she did when she entered those doors I m glad i didn t take the word of the Doctor and I sat in that parking lot listen to her chest, back the way she talked and her body language and her asking to be taken to another doctor i did I m disappointed with the service that was given
The L&D staff are amazing. They took great care of me and my baby. They made sure I knew everything i needed to know after my first csection and made sure i was comfortable. The food was delicious! The cafeteria staff made sure i was happy with my food or it was replaced with something i did want. My room was cleaned daily. Everyone was very nice! If i ever have another baby it was be at Medical City Las Colinas. Thank you all ladies
The worst racist ppl I have ever seen in my life. My wife was crying for an hour with intense pain and nobody seemed to have cared to even take her vitals. Rushed to Baylor Scott and white medical center after an hour and in the next 1 hour they did all possible urine/blood tests and scans and figured out the issue! I hate to say this but you are the worst! Why do you call it an emergency medical center when you cannot provide an emergency care for patients in need? Plus when my wife was crying in pain, the stupid lady at the registration desk rudely asks her to stop crying and that everybody else is here for an emergency as well! @#$%^!!
This hospital, I will not recommend going here. The nurses and staff are rude. Baylor hospital would be a better option. I ll never use their facilities again. The nurses are rude and their doctors are not kind with their bed side manner. Do not, I repeat do not go to this hospital. They forget that you are the patient, your insurance and money is paying them. Not the other way around.
The hospital waiting area was very dirty from kleenex to face masks, spills on the floor. I was concerned checking in to a dirty hospital. The trash in the check in section and the room were over filled with trash. The linen bag in the room was over filled as well. I over heard the young lady that walked us in calling someone to come and clean up but unfortunately nothing was done during the time we were in the room and discharged. For cleanliness i give it zero stars... please consider either hiring more people or making them work more efficiently. *** By the way the cleaning lady with either light blonde hair or white hair was sitting in one of the waiting areas close to vending machines and cafeteria watching tv and as my husband approached the are she quickly got up and pretended to be cleaning.
First impressions are a must. Thats why I am going to share the positive side of our very first ER visit with our baby.
Don t get me wrong the staff in the ER is GREAT!! Let me share my experience.. A wonderful lady named Paula greeted us when we first came in even though it was in the middle of the night her smile just made us feel at ease, she kept reassuring us that we were in great hands. Our daughter had a high fever she brought us in and informed us that she would be obtaining the baby s vital signs before taking her to a room where one of the nurses would be assessing her. Once we were in the room she mentioned who are nurse was going to be and the physician working that night. She asked us if we needed anything just to let her know. It was her great attitude and energy that made us look pass the dirty areas. The nurse Jessica was great she made us feel very comfortable and got our baby s medicine right away. She informed us on how we can help bring down the babies fever and instructed us what we needed to do to prevent high fevers in the future when overbundling the baby. Dr. Jabbar was great he treated her quickly and discharged her as soon as all results came in. He was too very informative and patient with our many new parent questions we asked. Great ER staff! For them
The attendant in the emergency room doesnt care if your excruciating pain, because the paperwork was so much more important. Side note I have insurance. My second experience was scheduliing a procedure there, to then find out they would not work with me on payments on a small amount, therefore canceling my operation. Im still making payments from my first unsuccessful procedure there. Unless you have deep pockets dont come to this hospital.
I recently underwent a bilateral prophylactic mastectomy and the staff, from pre-admit testing all the way to discharge, were very kind and courteous. Everyone made sure that my family and I were well taken care of! So happy to have had this team helping me through such a big procedure :)
I came into the emergency room at Las Colinas hospital and the wait for me was at 2.5 hrs while sitting in Er in terrible pain. Then, I finally get rolled back to a room that had dirty sheets with stains on the bed The Dr.Mays showed little concern for my care even after waiting patiently for so long in pain. His treatment for me was only a pain pill, ace bandage crutches and a prescription for more pain pills. I told my foot feels like it's inflammed and burning pain which a gout attack was accuring along with my foot injury. In a case like this I had been giving a shot for the inflammation. I told him that I have Chronic Kinney disease and he told me to take motrin. This is what other more caring and knowledgable Dr have told me not to take because if my condition. Also, the service was so poor between all of them communicating. They admitted guy sent me back with no ID wrist ban! The Dr. Mays said he send me home with a walking cast and a sling for my arm. I just pushed out from to cab and never was given any of the things the Dr Mays had agreed to give me. I am from Indiana and was in Texas visiting and was injured. I came to a hospital that is poorly rated and they proved to why they are. From the Dr on down that showed no care or concern for my injury or pain!!! They totally dropped the ball and all I got was sorry for your wait. You all advertise a 6 minute wait in ER and you cannot predict who may have a more serious need for care. So why advirtise something that is totally not true. When the true comes to the light, now all this staff can't saying is we only had 1 Dr. To whom ever this message eyes this encounter, I made it back to a hospital in MI, Beaumont Hospital. This is where I had to go another whole day later to get the care and service that a professional staff of people truely talk the talk and walk the walk!!! What a waste a very low class experience at Las Colinas ER!!!
