If I could give zero stars I would give it, I relieved myself of my twins here and it was very bad for me, in my cesarean section the anesthesiologist could not give me anesthesia several times which caused me to get very strong headaches later that would take me away to go to the emergency room with a neurologist, these unbearable pains were caused by the misapplication of the epidural and brought me many complications, terrible service and a very bad experience!
I arrived at the ER in extreme pain and the doctor...
I arrived at the ER in extreme pain and the doctor recognized the signs of my body language and area of concern as a potential kidney stone. They gave me pain meds and a CT scan confirming that I had a kidney stone. All was good at first. They informed me that they would manage the pain and most likely discharge me once the pain was managed. However, the pain kept coming back just as severe as when I first showed up at the ER. They kept providing additional pain meds, but each treatment was less effective. By the end they implied I was faking it for the pain meds. I was annoyed at this comment, but kept my cool as I was in a lot of pain. I have never needed pain meds before even with a broken arm. During this time they kept trying to tell me that I was ready to leave, but I was like the pain keeps coming back and is very severe. I did not feel that I could leave without returning in a short amount of time. My wife then showed up and I heard the doctor tell her that he is in there crying over a small kidney stone. She knows me and knows that I have a high threshold for pain and immediately did not like the comment from Dr. Anderson. There was no crying, but definitely complaining about the intense pain. The doctor had made similar comments to me, but at the time I did not care due to the pain. He then had the nurse come in an tell me that I either had to get admitted or leave the ER and sign a form that I was leaving against doctor's orders. We found this ironic as the doctor had been trying to tell me I was good to leave on multiple occasions. Also during my visit, the Charge Nurse came in and asked me how I was being treated. I responded ok. He then clarified that he was in charge and wanted to know how they were treating me and not how I was. I answered again: ok. He then rudely said well what are they doing or not doing to make my stay ok. At that point I was annoyed and in pain and said, ya they are doing great. Big lie... Finally, I decided to get admitted and was very happy with how I was treated and Dr. Bloom the Urologist. I however will never go back to this ER if I have a choice. Since the diagnosis of my kidney stone, I have had to revisit the ER twice. Not this ER. My experiences were night and day. This is the worst ER and doctor I have ever dealt with. The funniest thing of all is that they have a poster stating that pain management is the most important. I felt like treating the patient poorly and coping an attitude seemed to be the most important. STAY AWAY!!!

I spent six weeks here recovering from emergency surgery and complications that followed, and I couldn't have been more thankful for the great care that was provided to me. I experienced several areas of the hospital, from the emergency room to the ICU. Every member of their team was attentive and made sure not only that I was comfortable, but that my parents were as well. Everyone, from the nursing staff to the facilities team were caring and tried to make my time there as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this facility!
Great place.
Great place.
Only drawback -- it's SLOW.
Slow like frozen honey. Slow like a kid in September waiting for summer to come back. S-L-O-W.
No crowd. No other patients.
No hustling to get patients served.
They're nice -- but, I may have mentioned, they're SLOW.

I assume that is common with ER as there were many patients. Other than than I had a pleasant ER experience.

For Medical test, this facility charges huge amounts. Same medical tests outside labs cost way less.
Before go to medical test at this facility get the cost and compare it with outside labs.
For Simple blood test they charged me 1200, which cost less than a 200 dollar with outside facility.
Never recommend this facility for medical tests.

They have lot of issues with billing and managing bills. Even after paying the bill in the hospital, i kept receiving bills for an year and it had got sent to collections as well. I had to send the proofs to collection agency and they closed the case.
Dealing with 2 more bills for over 6 months now. People are rude and never willing to help. Insurance company wants to pay the bills but they are not taking any initiative to submit the claims.
The service is also not worth the bills. Better visit Baylor.
The number they gave here in response to my review, I have been calling since 2 months and NO ONE returns the calls. They are just cheating trying to avoid bad reviews and faking a solution as if they its for real.

So this review is for their women's birthing section. We had our child there and the birthing staff were great. The nurses, techs, the cleaning staff were amazing and we liked them better than our doctor even.
If you are going to have a baby the regular way consider this facility. C-sections depends on your doctor/surgoen as to how good they are.
That said the ER could use a lot of improvement as we have been there once and it was slow with no Doctor-patient communication, everything being relayed by the nurse. The doctor just comes to ask few questions and we never see him again...WTH?
The reason why healthcare in this country sucks is cuz of the Doctors and insurance companies. Lazy, in-experienced, god-complex, under trained doctors who just act like overpaid technical support and are terrible at it.
The average doctor in the USA cant compete with those in Europe and Asia. (researchers and quality of facilities are not being discussed here)

I m from out of town just moved here in June. My wife and I brought our son to the ER; the doctor acted very nonchalant about our son issue and wrote us a prescription for our son medication that we couldn t get refilled because the prescription he wrote was wrong. Called the ER about this matter and was told that they don t write prescriptions for his medication and that they we re still going to charge us for this service. If you go to this hospital make sure you ask questions about your situation before they start and they take your money because we feel robbed by a hospital that we thought was going to do the right thing and wasn t there for us. Never will I go back to MCLC...

I've got to say this is by far the best hospital we've been to yet. Just checked my father in law in to the ER and so far we are beyond happy with the staff and how well they have been taking care of him. I pray that his hospital stay is just as great. Thank you so so much for the love you'll put into your jobs. (That's what it's all about not just the pay check)May the good Lord bless you all in everyway and may He continue to give you all what He's been giving you'll to be the way y'all are now. AMEN

I went to ER on Nov 25, 2018 around 9pm due to lower abdominal pain and bleeding. They did my blood tests And ultrasounds and confirmed I had miscarriage which devastated me and my husband. It was an emotional roller coaster for us and I Didnt leave the house for 3 days as I was feeling sad and depressed.
On the 29th, my OB/gyn ( She is also from las colinas medical center) reached me out with the blood test results which were taken on the same day nov 25th but around 2pm as I had gone to see her first before going to ER due to the same condition but it was less pain and just spotting. Her nurse had suggested me to go to ER if the bleeding continued or if the pain increased . Now to our biggested surprise, the blood test from my ob/gyn confirmed I was NOT pregnant at all.My husband and I were shocked and had no idea what to do.
I emailed my ob/gyn explaining everything. Then I went to her office as she wanted to talk to me in person. She also accessed and read all the test that were done in ER and she was also surprised as the blood test results in the ER also showed negative for pregnancy.
So now, my husband and I are trying to figure out what to do next. SHOULD WE SUE THIS DEPARTMENT or shall we forgive them? We went through hell like experience and was emotionally disturbed due to the negligence from ER . This is beyond our imagination and we have no words to express our mental and emotional state. I hope no one else have to go through this ever. Please read my review before considering ER department.

Well I'm currently sitting at the hospital writing the review. When I walked in to check in the check in nurse was EXTREMELY dry. He pointed me in the direction to the machine to check in. He called me back within 10 minutes which was awesome especially in the ER, so he takes my vitals and all that good jazz. He was ever more dry. No smile or anything! So he says your going to day surgery. *pause* I was so confused as to why I needed to go to "day surgery" just after vitals, so I was reluctant and I asked him why do I need to go. He look at me so dry and said that I'm going to the room in the day sugery hall. So the scribe was equally as dry and the guy upfront. Then the X-ray tech was still dry but a lot warmer than the other two. Then I got to Bo! Bo was absolutely AWESOME. He was warm and friendly. He greeted himself, was apologetic, funny and over all great. He was GREAT and just perfect. Thank you Bo* Then I met my doctor and her name is Dr. Baxley. She was great as well. She was super nice and warm. She was great. People to people interactions are very important. The quick service, Nurse Bo and Dr. Baxley made the visit for me. Everyone else need a nap or something.
They treat me like a drug addict. Don't come here ...
They treat me like a drug addict. Don't come here if you've ever received narcotics in the past for anything before because they won't care if you have multiple chronic illnesses and are in pain. "The ER is for patients who are dying." - said the female P.A. in the ER. "Well, you're a drug addict." - said another male nurse. I'm 22, I'd rather not be in the ER. I'm here because I'm in pain because of c diff and they just don't care. I've even spoken to the medical director and nothing has changed. They don't understand people who live in pain every day and don't care to try to understand. They don't care about pain management. They send me home in pain.
I have had to go to another hospital a half hour away twice now to get properly treated. Two stars because there are some friendly nurses.

I could not have asked for a better birthing experience. Every nurse was so supportive during the process. I labored how I wanted to, and they were sensitive to that. They were so sweet and you just knew they genuinely love their job.
When it came time for me to push, the nurse exhausted every idea to help me push my baby out. She worked so hard, tugging and pulling and lifting me to help push. She was so nurturing and uplifting during that time. When it was all over and my baby was born, she came to my bedside and said "As a mom, you are going to do hard things, but you did this. I don't ever want you to doubt yourself again"
Without question, I will ALWAYS recommend Las Colinas to anyone having a baby. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel as comfortable and cared for as possible.

In the last two months, I've had one procedure (just this past week) and my wife has had one procedure. We both want to say a heartfelt "Thank you" to the staff in general for maintaining a high standard of professional care while being wonderfully open and caring people with outstanding abilities to make patients comfortable and feel safe. Please be proud of your daily efforts and know that you do it right! I know my wife and I will be visiting again and we will do so knowing that we'll be well taken care of.

Sadly I am required to give a whole star here on this review. I would definitely give half of one or NONE.
Terrible care, the nurses had difficulty with my mother and quickly discharged her without being fully healed just so they didn't have to deal with her anymore. The social worker who was supposed to give us choices for rehab facilities - only gave us one. No one here cared about my mother as a patient or for her health. I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone from going to this hospital.

Thank you very much for taking good care of me last night.
Everyone from the time I checked in until the time I checked out was wonderful to me.
I'm blown away by some of the negative comments because I've had more than one experience with this ER and it has always been a positive experience.
The $11,000 bill I got to find put I had a UTI kind of spoiled the experience, though.

3rd time coming here and constantly leaving with the same problems I came in with. I never leave here feeling better. Always the same with a side of wasted time and disappointment. They never can tell me what s wrong with me. They always send me home and say okay well just follow up later. I m tired of this. Obviously the pain is real and I keep coming for a reason. Never again. This is my last trip. I m sitting here in the bed now actually waiting to be discharged. After I came in for a serious problem. I m getting told this and that and I don t appreciate it. I pray nothing serious is happening with my body because a big fat lawsuit is what they will receive.

I had my baby here and my birthing experience was wonderful. The nurses and assistants who took care of me after my delivery were so kind and helpful.
The only complaint I do have is with one nurses assitant in particular, like a month or 2 before I had my baby, I was having really bad pains and I thought I was in labor. So I went in. The nurse's assistant or medical assistant that was "helping me" was so rude and insensitive. Her name is Katie. She told me to stop crying and "breathe right" cause I was going to "hyperventilate" (This was my first pregnancy) so I didn't really know what all to expect. They asked me if I wanted to stay over night just so that they could monitor both me and the baby, of course I said yes. But she told them I said I wanted to go home. This really scared me because I just felt that I was going to have a bad birthing experience once it was actually time. Because of how she handled things when I was there. Thank goodness when the time came and I went in for delivery she was not one of the assistants that helped me. I did see her there but I didn't have to deal with her.

Bunch of crooks! Terrible care ( I totally respect nurses) but this bunch did not give a lick that I was in a world of pain, cramping and in no hurry to give me an iv (45 minutes and I was the only on in there. They charged me $12,574.99 for my daughter's 9 hour emergency room visit. They didn't administer any drugs and she basically slept while being on vital monitoring then cleared to go home.
My insurance paid most of the fees and I paid the balance and received a confirmation paid in full.
A month later received another bill stating I owe another $183.93.
What a scam! Overcharging then billing even more.

Medical City Las Colima s is the best hospital there is. I and my daughter and granddaughter were seen for carbon monoxide poisoning. The team work of the doctors, nurses and other people were very helpful. Kept us posted on what was going to happen and what to expect. Let me tell you carbon monoxide poisoning is nothing to play with. I walked in with a horrible headache and left with no headache. I recommend this hospital to anyone.

Horrible experience!!!!! They didn't pay attention to what I was telling them was wrong with me. Everyone was rude. I'm not from this area I usually go to Baylor in Fort Worth never have they treated me like this. I had to stop to the nearest hospital because I was in pain and felt like I was about to pass out. They came ask me question's no hello no I'm dr so and so just straight to it what's wrong with you. I saw 5 different RNs and 2 Drs. I was in pain and the dr came in and told me okay we are sending you with antibiotics. Then I asked the nurse how does he even know what's going on inside me, she said because we did a CAT SCAN. I said no one did a cat scan on me she went back and checked and the dr thought I was a different patient. If it wasn't for the nurse by the way the only one to seem to care to help I would left with pain and the wrong medicine. The whole time the whole staff was talking about patients and laughing joking around. The women DR was so rude she talk to me as if I was stupid. The last guy nurse that came to take out my IV and check my vitals pressed on me hard threw the equipment on the floor as if he was bothered for doing his job. I ask him is my blood pressure high and he said I guess but we wouldn't even bat an eye in a sarcastic way. Also a nurse before that a male as well came in the give me morphine for my pain I asked him three times why does my neck feel stiff. He ignored me and kept doing something else. The emergency room staff seriously needs training or a new staff! If someone does not like there job they shouldn't treat people bad. Get a new job! I have rather risk driving feeling horrible and waiting 5 hours in the waiting room at Baylor hospital then coming to this place. This needs to be fixed.

Never going back to this place. My wife delivered 2 weeks ago. The experience itself is overwhelming and emotional but I didn't think anger would be one of them. Well right before she was going to give birth I assume the nurses are suppose to be ready to go well not this one nurse ask the other one if she brought a sering and something else and nope she forgot and never went to get it. Long story short our son was born and had the internal contraction monitor pinned to his head and actually cut him and if that wasn't enough once the other lady got him instead of checking why its stuck and gently taking it off she pulls on it several times and my son begins to cry louder(I have it on recording) .. by that point I was pissed my son has a small cut on his head from all this... Thank you Las Colinas Medical Center for pissing me off the day my child was born ....

I went to the ER here 5 years ago. It suddenly came up on my credit score a few months ago I had no idea about it for years! The hospital made a mistake and incorrectly billed me and not my insurance even though I gave them all my information. They sent my information to a collection agency without ever notifying me that I had an outstanding bill. It crippled my credit score and has seriously affected my life. When I tried to clear the situation up I was met with a response of "it's to late we already sold the debt to the collections agency." For their mistake they have devastated a young persons credit score and financial future. This is very unjust of the hospital and especially in an industry that is supposed to be helping people, not destroying peoples lives. I would steer clear of this hospital.

My wife came to this ER three times in September. ...
My wife came to this ER three times in September. The first visit early in the month was for an emotional comment she made to a doctor's office out of frustration with her CPAP. Several weeks later she was experiencing severe shortness of breath. She was at a doctor's office for this problem when it became so severe, they recommended she go to the ER. We took her to the nearest ER, this one. The ER made sure there were no major problems but failed to check for allergy issues. They sent her home with a Xanax prescription even though we complained that the problem had not been solved. (They had looked at her history at this ER earlier in the month and made their diagnosis based on that visit.) My wife struggled with shortness of breath throughout the weekend and when it became bad two days later , we went back to this ER (our mistake). They did testing to make sure nothing major was a problem. She received Benadryl for a CT scan that eased her breathing problem but they did not seem to notice this. A friend who is a PA suggested this could be allergies and we asked the doctor to try an inhaler or some other treatment for allergies. He refused saying she did not need that and then referred her to Green Oaks Psychiatric Hospital for dealing with the shortness of breath. We objected to this treatment recommendation but no one listened. We went home, tried an inhaler that was out of date and that solved the problem! We got a call the next day asking about the visits and I told them what had happened but nothing was done. When we got the bill for over $1,000 out of pocket for the two visits, I asked for a review of the quality of care. They refused to reduce our bill. Others have told us this ER is not very good. Find somewhere else to go if you need an ER. (Notice that there are far more 1 star reviews than any other number of stars reviews.) The staff treated us very well. The doctors were incompetent.

They lived up to their poor ratings. I went there only because they are closer from my work. I was hesitant at the beginning looking at their ratings. But they proved that ratings aren't lying.
This was my first visit and I just needed general consultation for common cold and cough. Lady at concierge desk did not even listen to my question/request. The moment she realized I'm new in the area and it's my first visit, without even excusing herself she started writing something on a sticky note.
She handed it over to me and said "we are booked until Dec. please call this number for Doctor referral."
I'm still in shock "what?!" I have to wait in queue for an appointment in Dec for common cold and cough?! That's absurd.
I was planning on appointing a PCP here since they were closer. But I guess I'm not going there ever again.
Later I went to Irving Health and Medical Center (based on their rating) and they checked me in instantly. Though they are a bit far for me but I'm definitely pleased with their service and I was able to compare the difference in service quality.

Las Colinas has a seamless process for thier patients. I was here for a surgical procedure and I can literally tell you almost Every Person In my process....All the way from the front door Racheal, Smitha, and then Sue that did the presurgical testing. The day of the surgery I got to see these faces I was familiar with and I also got to meet Ashley and Ashley (the nurses) in the surgical....I met the Anethesiologist (can t remember his name) And there was 1 other nurse that was Amazing (that assisted Dr Shirling in the produce). I wish every hospital cared enough to Ensure this kind of Excellence!! They even followed with phone calls to check up on me. Medical City of Las Colinas I Cannot Say Enough About You!!! If I Ever have to go to another hospital...I want it to be You!!
Excellence! Excellence!! Excellence!!!
Thank You!!!

This is the absolute worst hospital visit experience I ve had in my life!!! I m not a doctor & I know I m having a topical skin issue at the moment, this Dr. had the nerve to tell me that it s just dry skin with no testing or real analysis. I wasted $250 & all of my night for absolutely nothing!! Dr. Jabbar is terrible!!!!!

Avoid this hospital, if you can. The financial department is horrible, they will take several months to have reimbursement. And they just don't care about patients.

The Worst customer service. They keep you there forever and do not answer your questions properly.
My husband had chest pain and was feeling shortness on his breath. After he took the x-ray, nobody came back to tell us what was the result and what we needed to do instead we were waiting and waiting. The nurse was ignoring me when I came out of the room & asked her what were we waiting for??? she didn t even look at me like I wasn t there, and came back in a room on her own time and tried to be nice. it was too late we were leaving and she still didn t have any answers what was the result & what was wrong with my husband.
TOTALLY WASTING TIME & MONEY

Reading some of the reviews, I am sorry they had a bad experience because mine was very pleasant. I went to the ER early in the morning with severe breathing problems and then was admitted for three days. The staff was wonderful, efficient and attentive. Someone from the management team visited me every day to make sure I was being taken care of. They took care of my illness and I am feeling so much better. Special shout out to patient care technician Tina who kept me company and was absolutely incredible. :) The only complaint I have is that they gave me the wrong information to contact my pulmonologist after I was discharged and to this today, I cannot find him. Either the hospital or him needs to keep his contact information current.

My stay for surgery went very well. Everyone, from the surgeon, nurses, techs, pharmacists, housekeeping and everyone I encountered were so friendly, courteous, and responsive. The shift changes went well and the nurses were very thorough in sharing information. I had so many staff stop in to ask how I was and whether I needed anything. My post-surgical pain was well-managed. Dr. Ahlibai is a fantastic surgeon! His staff and everyone involved are top notch. I will definitely go to this hospital again should I need care. I am a health care provider myself and know about the importance of patient s rights and good compassionate care. This hospital went above and beyond my expectations for my care.

Emergency room staff is wonderful! Special thanks to triage nurse Megan; and Rodney and the guys in radiology. No one wants to need emergency treatment, but the kindness of everyone made a huge difference!

What began as an ER visit to Medical City Las Colinas turned into being hospitalized for several days. While hospitalized I received exceptional care from every staff member that I came in contact with, making an unexpected turn of events much more bearable. I have nothing but praise for Medical City Las Colinas & wouldn't hesitate to use this hospital again should a medical need arise.

I wish I could give them zero stars, in this hospital the degree of neglect is very high, a few weeks ago my baby was born alone in a room, I had to worry about receiving my baby by myself. There was no medical attention, there were no nurses, there was no one to assist me, the nurses and the doctor did not answer the calls. I must leave this comment here so that the same does not happen to you.
