Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa Review

Good Night My family and I made the decision to stay at that hotel on the recommendation of a friend, we arrived on September 4 and really everything was also until the day of checkout on September 7 that day, unfortunately I left forgotten in my suit a toiletry bag with pills and MONAT products! a LANCOME makeup remover and important medications, among other things that are not vital such as a deodorant and a hairbrush.
I called that same night but they did not answer, so the next morning I managed to speak with someone who told me that I should do the report online, I received a confirmation email and I waited about 3 days for them to send me another one indicating that they had not found anything, Then I called again to tell them that I was not asking if I was there or not that I knew that I had left it in the bathroom, they communicated me with a very kind lady named Patricia de House keeping telling me that she had nothing registered but that she would call me in a few days.
Today is September 23 and I am still waiting for your call, I do not do it so much for the products although adding the amounts are reasonable but I am interested in the medicines that are from my country and for me it is difficult to find them, especially because of the pandemic.
I hope someone reads this email and is kind enough to call me and give me an explanation and if someone is going to stay, be very careful when checking out and not leave anything because they will not see him again.

Very convenient if you plan to visit the Theme Parks. Also, there is a mini mall besides the hotel if you feel like shopping ;)

Thought I was getting a great deal in a beautiful resort spa hotel , celebrating a family vacation . Well I had a rude awakening when we checked in the staff at concierge tried to sell me time share and then were rude and not helpful when I asked about shuttle service and purchasing of Disney tickets !! Then to make matters worse we were out all day and when we returned the room was not cleaned so I called the desk and was told housekeeping is extra and it is self service !!!! This hotel is not cheap and I have never ever heard of such ridiculousness !!!! Will never return here or recommend and will be notifying my travel agent not to recommend this hotel to anyone !!!!! EVER

It was very nice, I didn't spend too much time in the room, but my time that was spent there was very nice.

The resort was very nice. However do not do the 90 minute presentation to receive a deal. We did this to receive money toward the spa and the gift card they gave would not work. When we went to the concierge to ask for help. I had to wait 30 min on Stacy who was text on her phone. She had a terrible attitude and was very rude and then would not assist me told me to call a number. All other staff were excellent Stacy just seemed to hate her job and seemed young and to consumed with her phone to actually be helpful. So if staying here do not expect help from "Stacey " any other staff will probably be able to help you more. Again beautiful hotel.

Great hotel. RAPHAEL at the front check in desk was so nice and helpful . He made you feel like you were his 1st priority. :)

Good size apartment. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was decent for a family of 4. There is a charge $20-$30 to get the cleaner to clean them or you are supplied with a hoover., washing machine tumble dryer.
There is a good sized fridge, oven and dishwasher also.
The shuttle is decent for free, however people appear to forget their manners and behave like animals when boarding the bus, for instance a group of about 9-10 four adults with teenage kids who turned up last then pushed past everyone to the front past people with kids and buggys and a man in a wheelchair. We did the bus for the first few visits but drove after that due to the time it takes to do other pick ups etc. Can't complain about it though seeing as it is free.

There is an on site store, it's a rip off. All I'll say is. There is a Walmart within a ten minute walk and less than a 2 minute drive. An example being a 750ml bottle of wine at the on site store was priced $20. The same bottle of wine was $5 at Walmart.

There is a wendys and five guys within a ten minute walk and lots of shops such as Nike, under armour, gap etc next door. The old town is only a five minute drive away and has a host of restaurants available.

Overall the location and hotel is good with good friendly staff

Excellent option with numerous types of apartments and prices. Next to disney parks, great region!

Rooms are big and clean. The amenitiea are clearly listed and available and accessibility to shopping and convenience is great

This is a nice resort. There are a couple of minor issues with the room - the bathroom fan is very noisy, something is dripping late at night - but overall our experience had been positive. It's very close to the Disney parks, so we're very happy.

I enjoyed this hotel. It was a short drive to all the Disney parks and had a nice theme and feel. Well maintained landscaping and the water park is top notch for a hotel. Staff were helpful.

On the negative side, the room is showing its age. My sheets had rust (?) streaks and didnt fit the bed so I slept directly on the matress the first night. (Ew) The shower in the main bath was clogged so we showered in others filth for the first two mornings until they properly fixed it.

Overall though, a really good place to stay. The negatives above may be just situational, but it does create the sense of not quite meeting expectations which is why I rated a 4.

My family and I spent our vacation here and we enjoyed everything. From the reservation, to the staff, to the check-in, to the room cleanliness oh and let's not forget the food. My kids were so excited that on the check-out day they were asking when can we come back. When I hear my kids say that, you know they enjoyed it all. Thank you to all the resort staff for making our staycation an awesome one. Definitely will return.

Older budget property. Not super clean, needs some maintenance, upkeep. Nice view from the balcony. Low water pressure in shower.

My wife and I stayed for two nights for her birthday and everything was great for the most part. I'm not sure if it is related to COVID-19 or not but I was missing the pen and notepad in the room needing to sign for food delivery.

It's like a home away from home. Great service comfortable sleeping its quiet and peaceful.

Very disappointing. Front desk supervisor Mr.Torres was not only condescending but extremely rude at check in. I had stayed at this resort in the past and became accustomed to professional and courteous staff. It is unfortunate that the supervisors reflect such as poor quality of behavior on guest.

Great location near shopping outlet and theme parks great for kids

Great Orlando vacation rental, especially for a family or groups.

Our three bedroom condo was equipped with a full kitchen, huge master bedroom and spacious bedrooms. Big screens tv and nice little outdoor patio.

I cannot imagine how uncomfortable the pull out sofas must be to sleep on since they were painful to even sit on.

Fun little Irish Pub came in very handy for late night drinks as well as English breakfast.

It can be a hike from the check in building so be ready to walk with all of you stuff.

Staff was really friendly as we went for a wedding reception. There were a lot of food and shopping locations in the area.

Rooms are spacious , very clean. Pool areas are great. Hotel service very helpful ANF courteous.

I've been in better resorts in Orlando this place has outdated furniture, beds are very hard AC don't go lower 70. No drapes on Windows and no house keeping

The resort itself is phenomenal. We had a 3 bedroom resort room and it was pretty far off from everyone else. It was extremely nice, clean, had a fully stocked kitchen. The whole experience was worth it.
The only gripe I had with the room itself is that the bed an pillows were subpar. Not as comfortable as you would expect.

Everything you could want/need is nearby the resort so that was another huge plus, additionally they even had a 24hr arcade that was really nice to have.

Yes masks are required outside of your room, this is a good call overall. Overall service and product was admirable.

The Resort is beautiful! And super comfortable. Lack of breakfast and cleaning service included.

Horrible, old, nasty, outdated, paper thin walls, no cookware in the kitchen, no one asked how your visit was, no housekeeping. Never again!

The part of the parcel was lost, the staff responded to it, and the room condition was all messed up ^^

Absolutely wonderful. One huge pool and then another pool. Great customer service. they have lots of shops and restaurants on site. Attentive servers. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

Ok so let's get the Bad out the way then move on to the good.......
The apartment was ok, the shared bathroom was not in a good way and needs updating. The ensuite was good and a good size.
The kitchen had all it needed, as did the shared living space.
The pool was good but could have been a little warmer.
Over all not bad but really think an upgrade is needed.

The resort was good BUT this is what happens to me, when I left the hotel I forgot my baby bag and call the hotel and they found it and explained to me they have a return service but I ask Claudia the housekeeper manager to open my baby bag and I realized that was missing 2 pair of shoes and a pair of sandals, Claudia told me that she can t do anything about it, I ask to speak with the general manager Yonas and he didn t do anything about it so I have to pay now to get my son bag shipped to me and wish that the person who stole my stuff that somebody stole something in his or her house to feel the same way i m feeling now

Decent place to stay overall. The shower pressure leaves a lot to be desired and the pillows are sun par but it's a good enough place that we decide to keep coming back.

Its clean and beautiful the people there was nice over all I had a better time at the resort then I did at Disneyland

Location was great close to everything we wanted that would have been 4 stars. But within the hotel the furniture was looking worn, infact the couch being a couch bed was terrible to sit on. The 1st 4 days only one lift was working and the queues waiting to get to the rooms were quite lengthy. We were on the 7th floor above the pub but still got a really oily smell from the extractor. The hotel staff were great always pleasant, Del checked us in and gave us loads of useful info. Not so much in Frankie Farrells pub on site, especially the older lady who didn't come and take our order because we had chosen our table ourselves, we had been sitting at the bar, moved to a table, we left without having something to eat, so didn't go back! We used the quiet pool the most, always managed to get a lounger and even late afternoon there were fresh towels available. I would go back and happy to say to others to go but not wow compared to other resorts.

We were 11 people in 2 suites, the resort is clean and well managed. We had no problem parking.

I have stayed at this resort many times over the years. The main reason I choose to stay here is the space. We have a choice of 1-4 bedrooms. This current trip has been mediocre. First issue, the remote didn't work in one of the rooms. Next, the door handle fell off one of the doors. Then we noticed in the kids bathroom that the shower would not fully turn off so the floor was soaked. Also we had four guests but only enough wash cloths for 3 people, no big deal but there was no phone and the hotel phone number kept giving a busy signal from my cell, so I had to walk to the desk to report all these issues. It didn't stop there, the pool staff on certain days are great, other days not so much. My kids are in the pool no towels available, I once again had to walk to the desk because I couldn't get help at the bar. One hour later still no towels. At this point I'm definitely not looking to stay here again. I should not have to report issues on a daily basis on my vacation.

Great service as well as clean and comfortable accommodations

Decent customer service (mostly), clean, though a bit expensive for what you get. Very late check in time. Room service extra, additional towels extra and a furnishings are good. Quality is on par with contractor grade fixtures and jacuzzi style tub. Pools are nice. Parking is a bit rough but adaquate. Called for extra shampoo, etc. Rep says no problem, but they never showed. The balcony is enormous on top two floors! Security into building is via room key access. Beds are okay but should be replaced.

My family of 4 just returned from a 6 day, 5 night stay. We all loved staying here. Our condo was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. My kids loved the pirate ship pool and I loved that it wasn't always super crowded. At least while we were there. We were lucky enough to get a room that had a view of the pool. We were on the 5th floor and never heard any noise coming from the pool area. The resort was close to all the attractions we were there to visit plus some extras like Wal-Mart and outlet shopping. After several full days at the Disney parks, it was nice to go back to a clean and comfortable room every day. I will definitely being staying again for our next Disney vacation.

Looking for a memorable family vacation temporary home this is the place. My family rented a 3 bedroom & 2 bedroom for 2 days. Highlights:
1) The ship pool, kids LOVED IT
2) spacious rooms, it had EVERYING we need, pots, pans, tuppawear, washer/dryer...etc
3)there is so MUCH to rave about not enough room to write. The reason for my 4 stars 1) not the most comfortable beds, I've stayed in beds that I've litteraly have never wanted to get out of, this wasnt one of them but comfy
2) PARKING PARKING PARKING!! not enough & tight parking spots

But overall we will be going back

Spent a week here with my two young kids. I'll do it again. Five stars would be given if the gym was a bit bigger.

I am loving it the view is lovley, the sun creeps in to wake you up and its nice an clean.

Excellent location, close to everything. They have an outlet that you can walk. The service was good.

The courtesy shuttle service whilst not run by the hotel, is terrible. Avoid if you plan on visiting the parks.

A spectacular place to spend the holidays with the family or the most loved ones. The attention is excellent and everything is very well cared for and arranged. Delighted with the site.

I am currently a guest here and the service and accommodations are horrible. For a 3 bedrooms, provided 4 towels and when asked if I could get additional towels the front desk attendant replied no . She then stated We don t have any at the front desk and we don t have anyone to bring them to you until later . She reminded me that at this hotel, it s self service and I could wash towels. Why should I have to do that on the first night of my stay? While I typically don t write reviews, this experience left me frustrated with nothing else to do but wait to get towels so I can start my day! I can t believe I m booked here for 1 more night. As a recommendation, please educate your team that customers that this is a competitive market, customer experience is your number one marketing tool. Furthermore, it s just the right thing to do when people trust you with their vacation.

It is a higher level of decadence for the affluent rich. Tall towers of luxury, swimming pools and other amenities. You need money or a 2hr timeshare presentation to get in. Ask for Chuck from PA. He is a no pressure straight shooter timeshare salesman. If you don't want to buy, you will enjoy his company.

Nice place but terrible service. Everything is over priced, have to pay to use the computers in the office area. My floor smelt like smoke for three days and weed for two days. For a pilot going to work smelling like both of those you can imagine it doesn't work well. Also my room Kelly getting bombarded with pizza flyers

Great place to start. All the amenities that you would find in a great hotel. Swimming pool is amazing. There is a pub on the premises. Adjacent is located the outlet mall. Very conveniently located is the Walmart and several other restaurant. I-4, Osceola Pkwy and 417 are just a couple of minutes away. Great value for the price.

Great place to stay. Quiet, friendly staff, clean and lots of free parking. Pool with the pirate ship is a nice touch. Lani s luau snack and pool bar has a great tiki touch at the pool. Very nice rooms and public areas. Didn t care for the on-site restaurant (Frankies Farrell). Lots of various restaurants nearby with better prices.

Supervisor Jennifer Stein was shady after several email communications asking us to attend a 90 minutes presentation in exchange for theme park ticket credit or room credit. She asked me via email a series of questions regarding our potential stay and offered us rewards. However, she failed to mention the "fine print" of it and waited until after the cancellation period to divulge that information.

The room was amazing. A few things broken once we got there, such as the kitchen light and the bathroom shower handle. Just minor things. Overall clean. Sofa bed was not made. Washer was dirty as if someone had used it and parts were not put together.

Night staff was extremely helpful. However, the morning shift was very reluctant to help us and very negative when asked about anything. Another stafg member had to step in and try to help us get in the presentation that was scheduled. Her words were "we should honor whatever was on the email confirmation regardless of whether or not they put you in the system for the presentation". So, she understood the situation and took action to create a positive outcome out of a negative situation.

This place well im half pleased. First this is the first place that didnt honor early check in not even 20 minutes early. Not sure why it was labor day you would think they would coronavirus and all.

The places was not packed which was great the pub was open both pools was opened but they really didn't replace towels once the morning towels was gone.

Overall it was peaceful which was what I was looking for..

Now if your looking for a place to relax thats all this really is other than going to the parks the only other thing to do is shop...

The rooms where nice but had to buy a few kitchen gadgets. The cleaning staff turned in the items we left behind and they was sent to us. The traffic in that are was very busy.

Had a great 2 week stay apartments a little tired but clean and tidy. Staff very polite and friendly. Worth noting that traffic in the area can be horrible

It has everything one needs to visit Disney as a family. It does not have a waitress service, but you have at your disposal a kitchen with everything you need, including a dish mill and a laundry. It makes your life in the parks super comfortable and at the same time you save a lot.
