Bought car from these guys just to discover it had a hard shift/jumping when accelerating six months later. I took the car into them twice during the two years that I had them and asked them to check the transmission. The assured me everything was fine. I ended up taking the car to a transmission specialist. They told me the vehicle was leaking transmission fluid. He also told me it was likely to be a problem since I bought the vehicle. Untrustworthy service.

Laird Holler collision center replaced and the drivers exterior door handle on my 2014 Hyundai Elantra. I made the appointment with JD he got me in immediately when he said and was able to get my door handle replaced while I waited. Nice guy and they do quality work

I have had a mix of experiences here. My latest experience was definitely a one star. Came in for an oil change. It took over 2 hours to complete. I also had a part which was ordered for my truck when I had a check engine light on. All of the sudden they have no record of the part or when I came in for a check engine light. Now they can't even figure out what part it is. How convenient for them as my warranty is about up.
I was dissatisfied as I didn't see where they had santized my vehicle. There was nothing indicating it had been done and didn't look like it either. Covid19 and all. Saf

I hate this place. The mechanics are consistently rude. Three times they have failed to complete a work order on my truck, so I had to keep taking it back. They are incapable of finding a problem without using your car's internal computers/recorder. Mine was apparently erased, and they were supposed to fix it so it would record but never did. Took my truck to them, and they shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't find anything. Took it to Midas, problem was fixed in a few hours. My friend had a nail in her tire. She, too, had to take it in three times for them to figure out why her tire kept going flat. I stopped going there. They're jerks, and they don't know what the hell they're doing.b

I was really surprised. The people seemed to be there for me. They worked with me and were so friendly. They made sure the car was checked over and clean when I picked it up. Jammie Head and Shawn Link were the ones who worked with me. They were the best. Everyone I came into contact with were also very friendly. I have never had such a good experience at any other dealership. I have found some problems with the car and they have been friendly and courteous while taking care of it. I would say the experience was excellent, and I am very happy with the car. I will tell anyone looking for a car to go to Laird Noller Ford in Topeka if they want to be treated right.
Don't ever buy a car at the end of the month ! My experience buying a new 2017 F-150 at the end of March was terrible. Every thing from trying to make the deal, financing, to botched up paperwork was just one big rushed mess. Then when we went to pick up the truck, it was supposed to be detailed they threw the floor mats in and that was it. Wasn't even washed. My wife and I just felt like a number so the dealership could make there quota for the month. Kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth when it comes to buying a new Ford from this dealership.
We were on a cross country road trip in our 2017 Explorer. Outside of Topeka the small panel with combo lock on the drivers door blew loose and was hanging by the wires. The service at this dealership actually had the part and were able to replace it and fix my lift gate that had blown a fuse. They also let us take our two small dogs into the waiting area. We were on our way in a couple of hours. Thanks guys , great work
Bought a truck from them and they were supposed to have the wheels fixed. The paint was all scuffed up. 8 months later the wheels are trashed again. Good job covering them up for a while though so I would buy the truck.

My question here is, how do you go from finalizing on 25k to payments starting at 29k with a down payment?
Vehicle had broken turn signal which they fixed but didn't get to drive vehicle until 2-3 days later. Additionally, no extra key fob, and no spare tire. Lastly, vehicle had only 1/4 tank of gas and low air pressure in tires upon pick up. You would think with these things considered, that the listed price of 25.5k could go down further but I couldn't get a 24.5k.
Lessons were learned. Nothing I can do now and only wish I could go back in time. I will ensure I don't get screwed like this again. Moral of the story, be careful and don't get so excited that you get blindsided by the product that you really want. This all was 1 year ago, and It took time for me reflect appropriately. I hope this helps someone.
I only take my vehicle to Laird Noller. They are very friendly and courteous every visit. They do great work.
Eric Houser is such a great guy to work with. He did mountains of research on the cars I was interested in so he could answer any question I could possibly have. He never pressured me and I was so happy with the car I took home.
Excellent service! I went there on Friday for a couple of safety recalls but when I called they said they had to order the parts and it wouldn t be in until 5-7 days. I couldn t go without a car that long because I was returning back to work on Monday and needed a car to go to work so I called The Ford Company and spoke to a lady and she told me the recall didn t cover a rental car and to call the Ford dealership and ask for a courtesy rental so I called the dealership back and asked and the gentleman said if I could bring the car up there now that he would give me a rental and when I brought my car to the dealership and went to pick my rental up the service guy was real nice , he asked me was a Ford Exsport alright and I said anything will do, beggars can t be choosy! The car was actually ready on Tuesday but I couldn t pick it up until Thursday but I decided to leave work early on Wednesday and I went and picked my car up.I really appreciate everything they done for me. We were struggling to find a good vehicle and we finally found something close to our price range and big enough to haul our boys! But, we were having some trouble with the monthly payment so Ron introduced us to Morgan, who worked with us to get a great monthly price that fit our budget. I blew out my front tire on the way to work. Greg got me into the shop really quick so he could get the replacement ordered. Greg then suggested that we swap the doughnut with the rear tire. It turns out that that was a great idea because I didn't the lugnuts tight. I hate to think about what might have happened on my trip home on the interstate with a loose front tire. I have say 'job well done'!
This service department is a joke. 2 stars is a fair review, and possibly a little too kind. I have been very understanding and polite through the whole (4 week) process, but I will not be taking my vehicle back to them for service.

Worst car shopping experience in 20 years. Drove from KC to Topeka to look and drive a car on Saturday that had hit their lot on Thursday. Arranged the appointment with the pre-owne card saleperson. After making the hour long drive, we were told the car was not ready. Told to come back in 20 minutes. Came back in about an hour. Car still being washed and not able to check out or drive. What a waste! I raised heck with Sales Manger Gary Bennett and he offered to drop price a little. I have no faith I would ever be treated the right way, so no way would i ever buy a car from this dealership. Better to walk away.
Our 2014 Ford Focus was taken into their shop with what we were told by another shop was the same issue that was covered under the extended warranty that Ford had issued regarding the dual clutch DPS6 transmission for 2014-2016 Focuses as well as 2014-2015 Fiestas. Laird Noller told us that the issue with our car was not part of what the extended warranty covered, even though it was a related issue. We were told that we would have to have the clutch actuators replaced since the clutch itself was stuck engaged. The tech that I was working with suggested that I call Ford customer care to see if they would possibly go ahead and cover the repair work under the warranty as a courtesy. Ford customer care was of no help to us, they offered no options for a solution, even though it was a closely related issue that should've been part of what the extended warranty covered in the first place. Even the Ford dealership that I have been doing business with for the last 15 years was of no help. We were told that even to trade our car in, we would have to pay for the repairs on the vehicle. Basically they would not take the car if it was not running. Thankfully, I was able to find a dealership that had no issue with taking our Focus as it was and giving us $1000 in trade-in value that we put towards another vehicle. I expected more of Ford (I guess I assumed too much) and after being a loyal Ford customer for the last 12 years and loyal to one particular dealership as well, this entire experience has soured my view of Ford. When I am ready to move on from my Fusion (even though I love it) I WILL NOT be purchasing another Ford vehicle. I believe Ford has also lost my dad, another loyal customer of 30+ years due to my experience. I was disappointed with with this entire experience, every other experience with Ford had been a positive one.
Awful experience. I walked into the service department office after parking in the garage and didn t get noticed for minutes after trying to make myself known. Went to pick my truck up and they didn t know which truck was mine after offering two trucks that weren t mine. Turns out the tech took my key home. Don t recommend going back to anybody.

I absolutely love every employee at Laird Nollar Ford on 21st in Topeka KS. They are so nice and always ask me before doing anything I didn't ask for or if there will be an additional cost if they find an issue. I bought my car from them and have it serviced only with them, and I have NEVER had an issue. Even if I have an issue that they don't fix, like when I got a chip in my windshield from a rock, I called them and they gave me their preferred Topeka windshield repair place. That makes me feel so good, that I don't have to ask around to my friends or find out the hard way, they have that information ready, and I really appreciate that. Always a 5 star in my mind.
I had a good experience buying my 2017 Ford Explorer from Laird Noller. Bryan George had the Explorer ready to go when paperwork was completed. He helped a bunch with the computer functions that I wasn t familiar with and is available to help with any questions I may have in the future. my Explorer!

My car had stalled on me at walmart, of all places. My bf was out of state and I had no idea what was wrong. I had it towed to a friends shop where he believed what was wrong with my car was a recall so I called lair noller and they were absolutely helpful and pleasant. Took my truck in on Monday to be looked at I scheduled a appointment at 10am. Come 1pm I Called to see what was going on and they hadn't even looked at it yet and told me I didn't have a appointment(I have the email to prove) needless to say I kept calling and truck was never done finally 5pm it was done. Wednesday my part is in so took my truck to shop at 7am first one in line again called at 10am haven't even began to work on truck. Poor customer service!

Why if I make a appointment at 2pm to have my grandfather's car to be service oil changed filters etc....why must I be here for more than 2 hours!!! I will take it to Goodyear instead I swear I feel sorry for some of these older people it looks like they have been here all dang day shame on you! Go somewhere else! I promise they are faster....

Terrible recall "service"!!! I took my car in to have the recalled Takata airbag replaced. After Laird Noller replaced the defective airbag, the system immediately has an error code. And Laird Noller says I have to pay them to repair what they broke!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!! Instead of being safer by replacing a defect, I'm at more risk than before because the entire airbag system is disabled!!! (TRUE Rating is negative -100 stars, cannot post without selecting at least 1 star.)

Laird Noller Collision Center did a stellar job on my car's bumper. They handled the estimate for the insurance claim. Once the repair was finished, they detailed my car. I highly recommend this collision center. Everything was handled in a timely manner.
When my truck broke down, they worked to get it right in. And kept in touch with me as it was being worked on. Plus, they did my oil change once it was fixed. Very happy with the service department.
I feel they took advantage of me, and didn't disclose damage to the truck I bought. I was told the truck I was looking to buy was in clean condition, and my trade in was only average condition. I only noticed the attempted cover up of a gash and bubble the next day at home. The day I bought the truck it was rainy and cold, so I didn't look super closely all around the vehicle. My trade in, on the other hand had no dings, scratches or any damage at all. When I asked the manager what they were willing to do about it, I just got a blank stare, and said they could do nothing. I feel I got swindled, maybe they think they can get away with this because I'm a woman. I will never but any vehicle from Laird Noller Ford again.

Nice people, show room needs a make over. Spent 3 hours there trying to make a deal on a pick up truck. I had a trade they offered me about $3500 below retail value which was fine I understand they have to make money. The truck I wanted to buy they wanted to sell me they wanted $1600 over the Car Fax value. They must think Car Fax is a reliable source since they use it. The truck was only in average condition too it needed work. They wouldn't budge from their price on the truck even though they could have made an easy $2500 off my trade. They said they had more in the truck than I was offering. They bought the truck at auction. That was a very bad purchase paying more than wholesale value for the truck. Don't waste your time with this dealer if you want a fair deal. Do your homework if you are shopping for a used vehicle. Know what others are selling similar vehicles for and look up book values. Don't let them try to convince you those values aren't real. They use the same books.

However, I'm a bit frustrated that I needed some "urgent" work done and I didn't receive a phone call. Had I not looked at my information sheet before I left, I wouldn't have known that my rear brakes were in really bad shape. Since I had already paid and was picking up my car, I had to schedule a SECOND appointment for the brakes. They had my car all day, and it would have been nice to just receive a phone call regarding the state of the brake, therefore, allowing them to replace them without my need for a second trip.

My vehicle was backed into and due to the impact placement, it was not able to be driven. I had my vehicle towed to the Laird Noller collision shop over the weekend while they were closed. On the following Monday by 11 am, I had received a call about my vehicle and gotten claim information sent to the collision center so they could begin their work. By Wednesday that same week, I received approval from the responsible party s insurance, and within 3 weeks of the initial date of loss, I had my vehicle back to me and looking good as ever.
My advisor asked if I wanted a small paint reparation done near the area of impact for a small fee (less than $75 before tax) since they d already be painting nearby. I cannot even see where the paint damage was before! All in all, my experience with Laird Noller Collision Center was excellent, and though I hope I will not have to utilize their services again anytime soon, I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a Collision Center in the future.

A nice dealership with a lot of cars to choose from. Mark Reber is the best salesman we've ever met. He's not rushing the customer and trying to make this experience as nice as possible. When we want a new car we first search this dealership because our experience there was so nice.
Went here to perhaps strike a deal ... Sales manager wouldn't budge on the price of the truck we were looking at and then insulted us by offering us half of what our vehicles trade in value was, as if we had no idea what our vehicle was worth ... We will never set foot back on their lot
On my most recent visit Gene made my experience wonderful from the moment he first started talking to me I felt like it cared about me, to be completely honest I didn't realize his name was Gene until after I had left even though the pen he gave me and light for my key chain both said his name. I had thought Laird Noller had teamed with a glass company.
I am very appreciative of Gene today I asked for more documentation and he happily obligated me.
Jacob and I had a wonderful conversation while he and I completed my finance paperwork. All around this experience at Laird Noller was amazing.
