The food is the most and the beds are perfect. We use the bikes to go to venice and they are quite good.
Well appointed rooms and pleasant service made for a very relaxing stay.
Went there for work Christmas party. Valet terrible. Room too small for band. Way too loud.
Dinner at Fig. Good was great, and they have a cheese specialist (I'm sure there is a French word for this) that will recommend a something from their large selection for either an appetizer or dessert. Over a great experience and great service.
A wonderful place, excellent atmosphere and a very professional attention
The Bungalow feels more like an intimate and lavish house party rather than a hotel bar. The line to get in can get fairly long so arrive early if you don't want to wait a crazy amount of time.
The Bungalows is a really cool concept for a bar, multiple smaller rooms with a large open outdoor area. Definitely recommend.
Drinks were good but 2 of the 3 bars were closed by 1230
Bungalow is a chill place the service is kinda slow tho.
Solid vibes, kind staff and dogtown coffee inside?! Cant get much better
Food from FIG restaurant was delicious, the property is beautiful and the service is amazing. One of my new favorite hotels in the LA beach cities area.
Great atmosphere for drinks after work. Not a great beer selection and prices are what you'd expect for a hotel vary in Santa Monica. $11 for a 16oz can of IPA. Amazing give and relaxing place on a weeknight!
This is a beautiful hotel put simply! Luxurious with all the modern needs taken care of spa, gym, shops, coffee ,bar and restaurant oh and just across the road from the beach and not far from the iconic Santa Monica pier!
The Bungalows bar is one of the coolest places to spend a hot Saturday afternoon.
Beautiful outdoors settings... shops have great friendly people. The barber name Joe Perez was very kind and polite. ABSOLUTELY no negative reviews
Lovely old hotel with great location. The kind i prefer over flashy.
Happy hour isn't as good of a deal as it used to be, but it's still a pretty freaking good deal.
First night at the Fairmont on Christmas day 2017 = below average.
* Booked an ocean view room: assigned a 3rd floor room with a treetop view of obstructed ocean view
* Reassigned a room with Santa Monica Pier view - accommodating, thank you
* 5-monthbold baby woke up crying in the new room - room's thermostat was not working and no heat being vented even with temperature set at 80F - actual room temperature based on the portable heater the super friendly engineer brought was 68F. Disappointing that a basic room functionality did work properly at a 5 star hotel.
The best hotel in Santa Monica. The bungalows are a hot spot for parties.
Great hotel for a conference. Good food and service, nice beach views
I only went there for a yoga class. It was spacious, clean, and the staff was very hospitable.
Amazing hotel. Service is as good as it could be. They helped with all of my needs despite a significant amount of urgency. Excellent value. Surreal ocean view as-well. Could not ask for more. Will be going again....soon.
The MMirama is a great hotel, very good location and perfect, great room service and Bungalows are spectacular
Reminds me of Frat Houses in college. Great vibe, super cool place to hang out and socialise.
Beautiful property, with stunning views, excellent bungalow rooms, and fantastic food at Fig restaurant.
It was excellent. The service was above and beyond my already lofty expectations.
This padrisimo and the restaurant very nice and the food is not good either.
Nice one school hotel. Bar and restaurant are popular, so guests may need to book.
Great vibe. Super nice people everywhere. Ping pong and lounging everywhere. Get there early and beat the crowd!
Excellent attention to detail from obtaining additional towels, toiletriey items to makingvreaervatuons for dinner. Grounds are beautiful. Staff is attentive to every need. Thank you for a fantastic stay. Bob C. Stay 7-20/21.
Great beach side location. Nice gym with peloton bikes on the balcony.
Best location in Santa Monica! Walking distance to the beach, the Pier and shopping at Third Street Promenade. Rooms are nice and spacious. Spa staff and treatments are wonderful. The 24 hour over-priced Room Service is worth every dollar. The only dissapointment was the very limited hotel clothing shop. Hotel staff is incredibly gracious and accomodating! Can't wait to stay here again!
Great outdoor area with fire pits and lamps, tasty food and amazing staff!
Bad review! Bad review! Bad review! One of the most slaughtered hotels in the Los Angeles area! $500 one-night hotel! Wait a few minutes for the guest to charge $20 for parking! The service staff is not allowed to explain! Service attitude is extremely bad! Can only say first-class location! Second-rate hotel environment! 3 stream of sanitary conditions! No service attitude!
I haven't stayed here, but did attend a dinner and the staff in the restaurant, front desk, and parking were all super to interact with. Genuinely nice and helpful team members. The property is beautiful and the incredible tree out front is amazing, unique and irreplaceable.
Visited the bungalow bar. Very unique setting. Feels like you're at a house party kind of vibe. Drinks definitely were not watered down.
Delicious food and extremely relaxing pool setting!
Astonished at how a hotel that looks lovely from first glance can be so horribly outdated and dirty! Stayed at other Fairmonts and this one needs a lot of improvement. The interiors are all outdated, house keeping does not turn the rooms following any form of Covid guidelines so stay at your own risk. Clogged showers full of dirty old hair, cobwebs in corners of the bedroom, dusty surfaces, partially used toiletries, insects, sugar ants in cracks and crevices, missing proper coffee accouterments. If I m ever in this area again I would avoid this hotel and not recommend to anyone else. Emailed the general manager and yet to receive an email or phone response. The food at the fig and bungalow is lacking and below standards. The only thing I found edible was a breakfast crossiant at the coffee shop. Everything else is beyond disgusting and cardboard. If you want to catch a virus stay here! If not look elsewhere.
Holiday charity event was beautiful and my daughter had a great time!
Location near the beach and close to shopping. Staff are exceptional, and on-site eaterie is excellent. Rooms are nice, but a little on the small side, particularly the bathrooms. I kept bumping into things, especially in the shower, where the door handle protrudes into the shower too much.
Be prepared for the noise on the side facing Santa Monica Pier. There's a bar/club at ground level than plays pulsing music throughout the afternoon and evening. Can be annoying if you're looking to relax in the room.
I cannot emphasize enough, the staff are exceptional.
The outside patio bar is awesome. I went with a group of 7 and they were able to accommodate us without any problems. The bar tenders were great, the place was spacious and had unique items and the bathrooms were kept clean also. I would definitely come back here next time.
Very good breakfast, best gluten free breakfast in LA.
Very good places where you can rest well and eat quietly.
If you go rent one of the bungalows create space for relaxing with cocktails outdoors
Let's start with the fact that the hotel is in a very good location. However, I had one of the worst night sleeps there due to the fact that there is club on the hotel grounds playing loud music until 2 am! I arrived on a Saturday and was "upgraded" to a room with ocean view for which I was super grateful when I was told at the reception...only to find out that the reason for this "upgrade" surely was the fact I'd be next to the club listening to the music until 2 am...I saw that somebody else had the room before me (the name on the tablet gave it away) so I am assuming the person asked to be relocated to another room...and as I arrived at 7pm my original room was still free.
At least the bed was super comfortable! I must admit that! But the rooms and bathrooms were a bit small and furniture wise maybe slightly outdated. If not for the music it definitely still would receive 4stars and i probably would have come back....but I do love my sleep so next time will go back to my usual hotel in Santa Monica that was under refurbishment during my week in L.A.
Went here to eat at fig and go to the bungalow bar. Dinner at fig was delicious and the desserts were good as well. The bungalow bar has a fun vibe with pool table and ping pong table.
Beautiful place with gorgeous rooms. Helpful staff that treats guests very well. We were a group of 4 college guys and even though we did not fit in with the high class crowd there, we were treated we'll and respectfully.
Simply amazing, great service, beautiful place, cozy.
Better have lots of money to spend cause u wanna spend it here. They treat u like kings....
I really enjoy my stay at the hotel, the location is ideal, the employees are very friendly and everything is very clean.
BEAUTIFUL hotel...and exceptional staff. The food was great and adaquate portions. Lively night life too!
Ate in Fig Restaurant, but was not impressed for a luxury property. Would not order salad, lentil soup (only tasted salt) or pizza again. Did not have Kale Salad available, yet on menu. Perhaps Exec Chef was off.
Great bar. I was only here for drinks on a Wednesday evening and was very impressed with everything.
