LL BEAN carrys hard to find well fitted childrens clothes, waterproof winter jackets and outdoor sporting equipment tailored to fit their small frame. The store is a Maine must!

Love LL Bean it's were I get all my kids outdoor stuff for the Winter, and I also get there school bags, Lunch bags and whatever else we may need. Great place.

Used to be great but they have changed their return policy and their policies regarding firearms are inexcusable. Avoid these fools at all costs.

I guess it's ok. TBH, L.L. Bean just isn't worth the cost when it comes to cold weather gear. On top of that, the outlet store doesn't really offer any incentives over shopping online. Nothing says "basic" like buying a pair of Bean boots and actually thinking that they are decent cold weather boot. Save your time and money and shop REI or EMS

We always go to LL Bean for a fun afternoon with the kids. There's the fish tank, ponds, and fun activities in the kids section.

This was quite an unusual experience. L.L. Bean is one of a kind. It is like a village of it's own with parking lots interspersed among stores arranged in a grid pattern. I have not found any other retailer that stands behind their product guarantee like L.L. Bean. If you are dissatisfied with the product, or it fails to perform, ever, return it for full value L.L. Bean store credit. You can buy a replacement at current price with the credit. Very good quality products at a very fair price. Not cheap, not inexpensive, but they warranty your satisfaction for life.

L.L. Bean had been a household name in Maine and many places in the United States. Having the flagship store in Freeport is a huge landmark that puts the town on the map. The Bean complex has spread over the years now encompassing a half dozen buildings, each with it's own charm and knowledgeable staff. If you love the outdoors and you come to Maine, this is a must visit!

Of course great service and products. They make shopping as much fun as it can be... They process returns with a smile and make you happy to spend more.

No other retailer that i can think of has such a strong customer focus. L.L. Bean stands by their product and their product is excellent. I stopped in today to exchange a pair of hiking boots I had purchased 4 months ago. I hadn't gotten time to try them out, but after two days on the trail, they were clearly not a good fit. Beans not only took them back, but offered to exchange them for a similarly priced pair. The boots that I wound up liking were slightly more expensive but Beans took care of the difference! This is why they will always get my business. 99% of the time you walk out the doors with a product that will last a lifetime, but if anything is wrong, they take care of it.

Elaine helped me customize a pair of Bean Boots. Her patience and enthusiasm made it an enjoyable experience. I love the perk of getting custom laces. The Women s Plus department is great - it s rare to have well-stocked plus size clothes inside a store (usually have to shop online). I have the LLBean credit card, so I could monogram my shirt for free! Great added benefit. Jenny in the monogram shop was an expert. She did an amazing job embroidering my purchases.

superb trade. it's big, clean and the staff is courteous. Aquarium and stuffed animals that are reminiscent of a museum.

WOW! What a store. Just what you'd expect for their main H.Q. store. A must see if you're in the Freeport area.

The Flagship store complex is a must do when visiting Maine. Tip: Visit the Outlet FIRST BEFORE going to the main store campus. You'll have bought what you wanted at discount and if you find something better you can always return it. Its difficult to guess what's in the outlet while shopping at the main campus.

PS the prices at the main campus are MSRP or similar, never marked up.

Drove 2+ hours only to find out the Flagship Store ISN'T! Specifically to try on the tall pants. They only carry to 34 but I can order and return if they don't fit. Meanwhile the distribution center is about 2 miles away!

I've been shopping here for over 20 years now, and am consistently impressed with the staff's efficiency, friendliness, and breadth of knowledge. Things are a little pricey, but they really stand behind their lifetime guarantee!

A huuuuuge place. Even during covid, this place is hopping, with lots of precautions in place of course. The huge boot, great shopping, classes and other resources, this place can t be beat. So fun to wander around this store and the town.

If you are in Maine and miss visiting L L Bean, you have not visited Maine. A must destination!

This is an awesome store. It is open 365/24-7. We stopped by on when we were in the area. Has almost everything related to camping and outdoor activities.

It's frickin' L.L. Bean. Duh. But if you really don't know it's a great outdoor outfitter place that handles serious outdoorsman to big city office jockeys as well as and obsessed with the Maine Cottage decorating style.

LL Bean is a wonderful stop to pick up outdoor sporting goods. During many seasons they also offer classes, concerts, and outdoor Christmas adventure in the winter.

Love that it is open 24 hours. While other stores are closing for he night around us at just 7 pm I don't have to feel rushed here. Can walk around at my leisure.

Great selection of outdoor clothing and camping gear. This is the 'home' store so they have everything. The stuff is expensive for Canadian customers once the exchange is factored in.
