Classic outdoor provisions and a destination to check out

Associates in Women's and shoes were very helpful. I wanted a pair of shoes on sale and the associate found the one pair that fit me that was on display. Quick check out later. Great lighting displays outside.

I love L.L.Beans! Great for outdoor clothing, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, home and camp needs, decoration and hunting! They have small catalog books you can order from! A store representing many activities and relaxation ideas! Freeport, Maine.

Everything L.L. Bean you could want. The people in the infant section were helped choose the right sizes for our 1 year old (especially for boots).

I've been wearing L.L. Bean clothing for many years. I always make it a point to visit the flagship store when driving through. The campus is large and makes for an enjoyable day of shopping. After that walk main street for more outlet stores.

Open 24/7 and 365 days a year! Can shop at all hours of the day.

Too big, too many areas. Advertised 70% off sales, but the selection was poor. Everything else overpriced. Used to come here years ago when it was 'homey'. Friendly staff.

Love it there. Separate place for LL Bean Home. Last night we got see the moon's craters with telescopes that were setup.

Wow! This place is huge! They have expanded over the years and this is their flagship store. Whatever you need, they have it and more.

Friendly staff , n great product , a little bit expensive

As everyone must know, this store never closes. So shopping into the evening on Christmas Eve has become a family tradition. If they don t have it in stock at the store, they ll ship it to your home.

It's LL Bean, and the headquarters at that. You can't visit Freeport without at least going to the Hunting and Fishing building, even if you don't hunt or fish.

My daughter and I went up to get her some Wicked Good Mocacin . Had a great time .

The OUTLET store is different to the MAIN store!! So the place is huge, and the discounted store is a separate building to the full price one. Watch out!

Huge store with just about everything you can think of. They even have fishing seminars with their live fish streams. Plus it's LLBEAN so you know it's quality guaranteed. They even have a hide porch with rockers to take a break

Great quality and great customer service
I've been an L.L. Bean fan since I was in high school. Having bought lots of items over the years, from lights to clothes, to boots and sleeping bags, I've always been statisfied with my purchases.
However, this last visit, I finally returned something - a pair of boots that I've had for 3 or 4 years - for some reason, they always ended up bothering my left heel. So I brought them back, and they gave me a gift card for the last sale price of the boot (as I didn't have my receipt), no questions asked.
Can a consumer ask for anything more?
Friendly staff, a place to eat, a huge fish tank, fireplace - love this place!

Way to expensive and not enough of a verity in dresses. Won't go back. And there fish um about time to eat. And not a big enough tank. And also looked dirty. Poor fish

My family and I enjoyed our visit very much. Boys were impressed by the store and we purchased a pair of hiking pants and a water proof jacket. Would like to come back to check out all of the site. Also took a shooting class. It was very well done. Highly recommend it.

We had 3 hours on our excursion to Freeport and you can spend all 3 of them in the LL Bean store if you're not careful.

It hard to say anything bad about L.L Bean since I'm a long time satisfied web customer.
Last time I came in person to the flagship store was in the 70's.
Today, everything seems bigger and probably is.
It was rather hard to find the items I was looking for but the staff was helpful and courteous.

I'm quite happy with my purchases and shopping experience.

Well worth a trip, although larger sizes were quite hard to find. Not what I expected from Bean.

LOVE this place. Everyone is so nice and ready to help you find anything no matter where it is in the store. It's always crowded but there are a ton of registers so I rarely have a problem checking out. There is an outlet store down the street as well so if you want better prices, make sure to check there first.

The outlet is very busy, but you can't beat the prices.

$$$ but great petite section. Trout stream with 5 different trout swimming by...really.

Good experience. Salesman inens footwear was terrific. LLBean doing a good job with COVID-19 precautions. Only a few people who weren't wearing masks.

A must for Maine visitors. Summer weekends are busy with family events, Fall events turn to foliage and pumpkins and holiday events are always a great time. Of course, there's plenty of shopping too.

Huge store with lots of help. Prices were comparable to the outlet store and merchandise was much more organized.

Amazing experience! I stopped at the L.L.Bean flagship store on my way to Acadia National Park. I went there a couple of days before Christmas, so it was a bit chaotic. The winter village was in full effect, and they also had a complimentary hot cocoa station. The store is open 24/7. It s right off the highway, so it s not too much of a detour.

Went shotgun shopping for the wife today. Pete at the gun counter spent a lot of time with us and was super knowledgeable about getting the right fit for her. Great experience.

It was fun to visit. Picked up a bug guard ("Radius") has been a very good purchase since the mosquitoes have been horrible our whole week so far and It Works Well!!!!

Tried exchanging an AT60 hiking backpack this morning but only got credit on card for the same backpack llbean poorly made. Does anyone want it? 140$ in it and it was a gift anyway. I'm shopping EMS or REI for hiking gear

I hate this place. Never again, yuppie trinkets for crazy high prices.

My wife and I were close by, so we stopped. It was early in the morning 9:00 so the crowding was nonexistent. We walked in, a employee told us where the dept was that I needed. Another employee asked me if I needed help finding anything, and within a few minutes I had what I wanted, cashed out and was on my way. Wonderful experience!
