Went to festival of lights, maybe have a photographer there for the pictures with Santa. LL Bean is fun and good quality...just not in my current price range.

Best place for everything outdoors. I'm here at least once a week. Everyone working at this stopped is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Would recommend this store to everyone.

An interesting and large complex with lots of clothing and gear for outdoor use. Prices were some of the most expensive I've seen. Nice to look around.

If you are from Maine you go to Beans end of story it beats out all you other outdoor shops hands down Be an outsider and shop at beans

Took some friends from Ohio to see the iconic store. It's as beautiful and amazing as ever, they loved it and all of Freeport! (Also dog friendly grounds, not in store).

Such a great company. Quality merchandise backed with an amazing return policy. What's not to love? Available and accommodating sales people too.

LLbean is doing things right! Felt safe and comfortable. Everyone is wearing masks and there is sanitizer available.

Great quality outdoor classic clothing AND great FREE summer outdoor concert series. I saw fabulous Bruce Hornsby here. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic. No bad seats. Gotta LOVE it!

Way too expensive, and overrated. Went to return a purchase from the night before and after a 2 hour argument I finally got my money back.

This is the LLBean flagship store. Actually, it's five LLBean buildings making up the campus. They have a lot of high quality products and are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The employees working here are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to shop. I get all my clothes at LLBean. You have to come to Maine to visit LLBean. I am not an employee -- I am a customer. Come to Maine.

Lots of cool products. Some items were overpriced. Same jacket in a plus size is an additional $200. Did get the most dad sweater possible on Father's Day, though.

Tourist mecca with good quality products but at dear prices. Crowded. Not really for non-shoppers like me.

It was fun to visit the flagship store, we don't have the stores on the west coast.

Always a 5 out of 5. You can't beat Beans! When you decide that quality really does matter, you will always find yourself at Beans.

Friendly and helpful staff with a wide variety of projects catering not just to outdoorsy people, but the casual home crowd as well.

If you're around during the summer, check out their Summer in the Park series of free concerts and movies.

I gave only four stars because as a very tall woman, it's nice to see they offer tall options though only medium tall (32" inseam) in the store. For tall, you have to order and either pick it up or have it delivered to your home. Unfortunately, they don't seem to offer tall options in larger sizes which is kind of silly as tall people are, on average, larger than others.

Note about bathrooms... A previous reviewer thought the only bathrooms are on the top floor. There are bathrooms on the first floor though you must walk past all the guns in the hunting section to get there.

The staff is very helpful. I find the women's department has gone down hill over the past 10 years. I'm sad this is my experience as I've been an LL Bean customer since the 70's.

Nice place but its a shame their views on customer service has changed.

Great store. Very clean and organized. I bought a pair of boots. I was suprized at the reasonable price. They had clearance racks if price is a concern. They also had permanent placed musical toys for children. I enjoyed watching children play. I will shop here again.

Fun and fascinating. I'm not a daily outdoorsman, but this place has everything you could possibly want for outdoor activities.

The store is so much better than the catalog. Really fun to explore with young kids. Great fly shop if you are fishing Maine waters. Impressive kayak display and salmon aquarium.

Great from hunting and fishing to kid's things and clothes. My kid's love to stop and watch the fish!

Around the holidays this place is super fun. There is pictures with Santa, reindeer, free hot coco, and a warming hut. And there is always the store itself which is great.

So NE. Kitchy. Great products, high price prices. If you are a fan of LL Bean it's definitely worth a stop.

LL Bean is what it is...nothing like it anywhere. If you can afford their $20 socks and $45 dog collars, go for it. I do love much of the very basic clothing and outerwear. Quality and comfort. I don't love the overpriced additions to the "classics". I think their pet stuff is ridiculously costly and their houseware Dept a bit MUCH. Not to be missed for fishing and camping and good sunglasses! ***And I'm adding today- new info. They have unfortunately had to change their return policy, due to abuse by too many " customers". You can only return items with a receipt. I think there is also a one year from purchase limit, even with a receipt. I overheard a salesperson say that repairs are no longer an option, as they were for 100 yrs. It was front page news for a bit, as they have always had an astonishing return policy. Too bad that people took advantage of it!! Check with them, but I've tried to clear this up, as so many reviewers have reported full and unquestioned returns....

I'm not the camper I used to be. I bought a pair of beans boots.

An insane experience, especially in wintertime, with a humongous store, fish, taxidermy, reindeer, Christmas tree light garden, and the giant boot.

New sales staff needs better training or at least have someone nearby.

I could wander here for hours. My only complaint is the amount of items that are made overseas. Would love to see more Maine Made or even Made in the USA items available.

Great store! Outlet store and regular store only two blocks apart. Many options.

It was great, but we won't likely be back. Their prices are very high. This was tolerable when the lifetime guarantee still existed. Now, not so much.

Huge flagship store that's separated into 4 or five buildings. My favorite is the main store and the home store, but the father-in-law found quite a few pieces from the hunting and fishing store. The employees are also extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
