This was our stay for one night after a lake cruise. The hotel staff welcomed us off the boat and even though our room was not ready (it was early in the morning), they checked us in and offered us coconut milk to enjoy. After a short tour around the grounds, our room was ready. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and had a pool right outside. Our meals, both lunch and dinner were delicious. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Probably one of the best resorts in this city. It is really beautiful and well maintained. Every cottage opens to the big common pool which ends near the sea. The cottages are spacious with good interiors. The property is huge and is really well planned and designed. All in all, I just loved the experience here!
It is just awesome. If you have kids or if you are in a group, go for the pool rooms where they have a common pool running around the back of the rooms. The restaurant too is very good. The staff is polite and the maintenance is good. The high prices are justified and you get a really great experience.

Great location, good facilities, very nice rooms, pleasant, upscale ambience. Bad experience with the front desk: the reserved room at a certain time was not ready, you had to wait for no apparent reason almost 3 hours, but was always comforted. We would have expected to be told the truth and we could have spent the time better than useless waiting.

One of the most relaxing resorts that I have been to, as we are a group of 7 we had different rooms all were pretty and unique. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The location of the hotel is spectacular.the service is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has several activities included in the price. The food although delicious was very spicy for some pallets, but the restaurant tried to accommodate.

Kumarakom
The most attractive by tourists in kerala and the crown of kottayam is kumarakom. It is 15 km far from kottayam city and on the shores of the largest lake which is vembanad river, in kerala. Because is it in the banks of the river, the river view are the main attraction here.resorts,houseboats,fishing,toddy parlours,riverford are the attractions here. The raw of trees both side of the road along with the river and the greenery are mind blowing here. Kerala Government made this place as special tourism destination in kerala.there is a bird sanctuary here it is famous for migratory birds. 50rs is the entry fee and it has a n area of 14 hectares.

Stunning resort in a great location and whilst the staff were keen to help most of the time, they were fairly useless at understanding basic instructions which is not what you d expect when paying the kind of money we did to stay there. Food wasn t great. Pool was lovely, beds really comfortable and the outside bathrooms were amazing. Would have been 5 star if the service and staff were any good.
Caipirinha came with all the sugar unmixed and at the bottom of the glass. I ordered a second one and specifically asked the waiter to tell the barman to mix the sugar in well. The 2nd one came back exactly like the 1st. Buffet was lacking in variety and taste. A waste of a good afternoon at the backwaters

Best experience on a houseboat as of yet, awesome food(esp traditional Kerala food), I would recommend the naadan meen curry(seer fish) to fish lovers,Really helpful staff and courteous staff, do try their houseboat service, Its phenomenal.
Stunningly well designed. Kerala's rich culture on display in every room and public areas. Serene cruise on the backwaters. Fantastic kerala cuisine. Currymeen wrapped in banana leaves is to die for !!
The guards and security are so dumb and making up rules whenever they want , it s really a bummer to the whole place .
After a wonderful, friendly welcome, we looked forward to our suite with a relaxing view. The room is spacious, elegantly furnished, typical of the country, with a comfortable bed. The air conditioning is quiet and very effective. The bathroom is a dream. Huge shower, double vanity and a whirlpool.
The resort impressed with its palm-fringed banks as well as with extremely friendly service. The delicious food both in the main restaurant and in the fish restaurant was excellent. The spectacularly prepared Kerala tea in the afternoon in the shady garden with wonderful views and all the other drinks were very tasty. A place of well-being where you can easily spend a few days. The pool very inviting with a view of the Venbanad lake.
The trip on a boat to watch the sun go down with local music was also very nice. We enjoyed our three night stay very much.
The overnight stay on the hotel's own luxurious houseboat was wonderful with fantastic service just for the two of us - unforgettable!

Wonderful stay. The resort was flawless and relaxing, truly made you feel as if you were in paradise. The staff also complimented the scenery by being incredibly welcoming and sharing their joy with us. To note, Kavi was an incredible photographer to up your Instagram game as well!
