Perfect place to spend holidays. Good customer care services.Nature friendly....

All around Excellent. Food, staff and facilities are top notch. The friendliest staff I have came across in all of this Indian trip.

First class resort, set on the lake with just about everything you could possibly wish for in a relaxed environment.

Very nice place to relax n enjoy the beauty of nature. Luxury Villa with private pool is just awesome. Extremely overpriced!! They have multiple options for food, and even food quality is nice, but the taste could ve been better. Definitely didn't like the food especially for the price we pay!
One noticable thing is that Indians are ignored completely the staff since there are many foreign travellers visiting the resort. In my opinion all customers should be treated equally. This s the only reason why I wouldn't go back to Kumarakom lake resort. Otherwise it's a must visit.

Quick and easy way to reach total enlightenment / nirvana / heaven. Amazing for the whole family, honeymooners, friends, whatever. The staff were absolutely incredible. Jills and Sarat and Hari plus many more always greet you with the sincerest smiles and eager to help and make your stay better. Sunset cruise is worth it!

its the one of the best resort in kerala. Mandrine pool villas are great for grownups as well for kids :)

One of beautiful resort located in Kottayam district. In house restaurant was amazing the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Nice location and hospitality of the staff is very good. Poland jacuzzi villas are good with open shower concept but a lil too close and has limited privacy . Good food and variety of options in buffet along with live counters.
We also stayed in houseboat which was terrible experience. It seem like they have mix of house boats some of them are good and some with 10-15rooms in single boat, that was horribly bad. Considering it was a group booking we had to adjust with the options.

A large beautiful property. Rooms styles are typical Traditional Kerala Architecture. Service was good.

Kumarakom is one of my favorite destinations. I had an opportunity to stay in this hotel during my visit to kumarakom. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and well equipped with all the amenities. very good ambience. The views of pools and coconut trees from the rooms are mesmerizing. Enjoying a drink in the poolside bar is really fantastic. There are restaurants, Bar, Ayurvedic spa houseboats gym etc are available.

Wow what a place . Really a plesent place . Beautiful rooms. Beautiful pool villas. Good food. Helpful staff. This place makes u feel GODS OWN WORLD.

We recently visited Kumarakom Lake Resort as a part of our Kerala trip , and we are really sorry to express our concerns regarding your food-services during our stay.

We felt that your Diner- Service a Ettukettu was less than mediocre for a 5 star resort like yours, would like to share the details and ask for explanation from you before we put this on trip advisor and other travel websites.

It started with evening dinner service at Ettukettu our package included breakfast and dinner , when we ordered al-a-carte for dinner your servers tried to refuse to serve... they blatantly fought with us on dinner table to go for buffet .. let me add that no-where it was mentioned to us that buffet was compulsory for dinner .. very Cheap-unfortunate experience for a 5 star resort like you.

Having fought with 3 servers we finally convinced them to serve al-a-carte menu (by this time dinner mood was already killed ) our misfortunes continued as they served starters were different than what we ordered , our misery had special garnish as none of the starters were served with any sauces ..go figure !! . Your service was so slow that when we ordered dessert and coffee to finish our meal, we waited for 25 mins for south Indian coffee ..finally we walked away from the restaurant without drinking it ... thus ending our misery laden evening. We simply don't know why your service was like that to us.. is it a chronic problem? or just to Indians it or did we not look posh NRI's enough ?

We were extremely disappointed not to see any Kerala food in buffet ( full of paneer etc or spaghetti,boiled veg , salads ) primarily focused towards your European customers, very disappointing .

We paid just equal to what others paid, and this is what service we deserved ?? Learn something from The Spice Tree Munnar.

Backwaters boat trip for two nights was a highlight of ou 7 week trip. Food was outstanding. Very relaxing and glad we did two nights cruising. A third night at the resort would be a good idea.

Beautiful property!! The only issue we had was our hotel room door had a noticeable gap in it at the bottom when closed and unfortunately unwanted creatures could get through :( had a few mosquito bites after! but we had such a great time nonetheless!

A typical village like resort on the bank of Vembanattu lake. Very calm place to relax by enjoying the endless view of the lake. They provide houseboats and performances upon request. Staffs are very polite.

Best in class 5 Satr resort with great amenities. And the location is also very mesmerizing.

Everyone is very nice. The place is beautiful. There's no atm and getting cash is hard. The food is terrific!

The drivers bringing the guests to this hotel say that the security of the securities shows very bad behavior. Staff cafeteria was a bad experience for drivers.

Chose this place to relax post our Maldives trip for our honeymoon based on the good reviews.

The place is beautiful with great ambience, nice rooms (Heritage Villa with Pool) and courteous staff.
The Restaurant served us really well. They went overboard and made out of the buffet menu items for us. The service is something to experience out here. The buffet spread is lavish !

Go to vembanand restaurant for nice snacks and drinks during sunset phase. It made our day super exciting with beautiful weather, nicely made drinks, light snack and heart to heart talks.
The staff was kind enough to let us sit bit extra time without interrupting. Don't miss this experience!

The add on's like complimentary musical sunset boat ride, evening tea and other activities are something to not miss out on as well.

When I told them I was on honeymoon, they decorated the room beautifully as a surprise for my wife. Also sent in chocolates, chocolate cake and wine bottle..

The complete experience at the Resort was everything and more I could ask for. The hospitality and courteousness of the staff, the food, cleanliness were all remarkable and exceptional. Along with this, the location is perfect. An experience to be cherished.
