Loved this place and so did my son! So much better than a day out at Legoland and for a much better price too.
We arrived around 10am on a sunday and had a smooth check in. Some of the activities only open at 11am, but there is plenty to do until then so you won't even notice. Only kids can wait in the queue(which is great, by the way) so we never had to wait more than 15mins. If planning to "open a bank account", you need 70 kidzzos(i think that's what they call their money), so it might be a good idea to "work" some jobs first to earn enough to open the account and then you can start spending. You get 50 kidzos at check in(and no, you cannot buy more). Each activity either pays you(about 7-10kidzos) or you have to pay to take part. Lots to do and time flies by, so much so that when the time was up, we still had some places to explore. You have 4 hours, you can stay longer if you want to eat for example, but will not be able to take part in any activities once the time runs out.
We went out of Kidzzania to eat and have regretted doing so as even at 3pm the queues for everything were at least 30mins long(unless you are happy with a sandwich, of course). Wished we've eaten inside Kidzzania as it seemed to have some decent places to go to.

Great for up to 10 year olds. Any older, they will be bored. Just too baby-ish for the older ones. It should not be advertised that years up to 14 are catered for. But certainly great fun for the ages up to 10. Only thing was that the kids would have wanted to be able to buy a fruit juice or smoothie with their earned money, or even a little chocolate. There was only one place (so they said, I didn't really check this) where they could buy a juice with the "play money" and this was the Innocent branded juice activity. As we didn't really want to hand them real money (which would have gone lost in amongst the play money), they didn't feel that they could really buy anything proper for themselves. Great concept for little ones, not recommended from 11 onwards unless they offer some more appropriate activities for this age group.

Great place for a family day out. Kids love it, don t want to leave. Only suggestion queues system to each station should be improved massively. 40 minutes to 1 hour waiting time in four hours window is not efficient enough. Price paid to what you get is not adequate.

Considering this is advertised for kids 4 to 14, they certainly do not know how to engage with younger kids. They charge parents for accompanying this kids but then they do not allow them to go in with the kids.
My daughter went into the pokemon booth which has stop motion video, but the person running the booth certainly did not know how to engage you her kids. I had to force my way in so I could show my daughter.
If you are going to pitch this for kids, at least make sure your staff are engaged and know how to work with kids. Seem most are just picking up a wage.
Also 1 lift to get up from ground floor to checkin, and none of the lifts within the area working. Escalators on way out did not work. Customer service is miles apart compared to dubai. Much more engaging staff with kids. Showing and teaching them if they are not sure.

Kidzania just sent me an e-mail and thanking us for our visit and asking if we had a 'Zuper' time. This is what I said:

Actually we didn't have a 'Zuper' time. We had rather a rubbish time I'm afraid. We bought our tickets online and then had to queue for 20 minutes to get tickets - we should have been told. When we got in, we were given a two minute speech (which I presume was scripted it was delivered with so little genuine enthusiasm) which involved the kids being told that they should do window cleaning as that paid most and that if they earned loads of money they could go and get cool gifts at the department store. We were left with the impression that spending money on activities was bad but that earning was good - which kind of made sense in a capitalist society. Having not been before the kids were understandably keen to earn money in order to get the 'cool' gifts. The queues for the activities they had been encouraged to 'plan' for on the website before we arrived were horrendous so they stuck to the shorter queues. They earned the maximum possible money by cleaning windows (twice) and changing beds at the hotel (twice) - really aspirational stuff. My daughter and her friend did the Metro activity which they queued for 15 minutes for. They were sent off to cover a story at the theatre. When they arrived there they were made to wait for 15 minutes because the staff were busy putting on a show. The pen didn't work, more time lost. When they got back to the Metro they were told they had 2 minutes to write the story and their time was up. So they queued for an activity that was queuing. When they did the fruit bar activity they were told what they should do - wash hands, taste ingredients etc but didn't actually get to do those things as they were being rushed through the activity to keep the queues short. Those were the two most exciting things they did.

When we got to the gift shop they were excited to at least get the gifts they had earned. After queueing for 15 minutes (again) they were gutted to find their hard earned cash could buy them a variety of cheap plastic tat which must cost around 10p each when bought in bulk. Coconut beaded bracelets and necklaces, a plastic RULER, a mask or a tiara - C'mon! No wonder 'grown ups' aren't allowed in - then they would see for themselves what a rip off it all is. How much does a Simon Says cost - please tell me? I'm guessing 64,0000 kidzos? So maybe if they cleaned windows for 4 hours every day for a year or so they might be half way there?

I noticed that the photographers who were pestering them to 'smile' when they finally got into an activity were absent at the 'department store' to capture the tear stained faces of disappointed kids because believe me there were more than a few. The pathetic attempts of parents to try to explain to kids that now they understood that they had to earn money in order to afford nice things fell very flat - even the parents saying the words didn't look convinced.

Here is what my kids learnt from you Kidzania:
1. What a long queue is like and how boring it is being in one
2. How to be pushy/border line aggressive because that is what they had to be to keep their place in the queue thanks to other ill mannered kids and their parents
3. That anyone working at Kidzania would rather be anywhere else but they do manage very wide fake smiles which are so forced it hurts to look at them
4. That window cleaning pays more than being a pilot, a dentist, a healthcare worker, a fire fighter
5. That they would have been better off taking the 50 kidzos they were given at the start and spending it on fun activities (after queuing for about an hour) because earning money is a waste of time because you can't afford anything anyway - hmmm, isn't that rather like teaching them they will have an easier life on benefits?!!!
6. That being ripped off for a lot of money leaves a very bad feeling
7. Never go to Kidzania again

So thanks of asking but the answer is no, 'Zuper' it was not.

Regards

Daughter loved this place. It isn't cheap and it's always busy, but it is value for money. There is so much choice of what jobs the kids can do. We've been twice and she still hadn't even done 50% of them. Probably be going again in the next few years. We live a trek away so we have to combine it with a weekend in London

Most suitable for ages 7-10. Fun indoor city for kids to play at different jobs. It's very busy in school holidays and queues for activities can be long. Not really a family activity, the children do everything by themselves, so a fair bit of waiting around for adults. My daughter LOVES it and it's a great fun day out for her.

With an annual pass this is good value and a fantastic experience for the children of today who are generally over-stimulated with pads and electronic games. It is a vision to watch you it child consider the options between learning and working and between spending in their own department store or depositing their earned cash in the bank.

Not all children start at the same level of worldly awareness. With Kidzania you can help your little one learn to take responsibility and understand their options in life early enough to think about them sensibly.

Definitely NOT just a day out for amusement.

Never again!! We went there for the first time today. We were surprised that under 4 children can barely do anything. The 'early years' section is ridiculous that my 3 year old burst into tears upon entering it. No idea why they charge for under 4 and for adults when they spend the 4 hour calming a screaming child!! They need to be more honest with their family fun promises. Endless, slow queues and they're generally under staffed. When I complained nothing happened. Obviously they don't care about their customers. What a rip off. Horrible place!!

Too busy, very expensive, ques, ques and more ques.....Dont take your kid unless they are at least 8 so that they can understand what is actually going on. If your kid needs you to translate or is terrified of being left alone then ask for a yellow wrist band so that you may accompany your child to each activity. They make you pay for parents and each kid, even kids below 4 years of age. I didnt like this place one bit because they dont make your kid feel welcome...they are only after your money $$$$.

The children loved KidZania in Korea so much that I went to England to visit them. When I went to school during the semester, I was able to get a cheaper ticket, and it was around 4 o'clock. It's recommended to be in Part 2 rather than Part 1. It is conveniently located in a large shopping center and is easily accessible by subway or bus.

Great place with awful customer service .. espevislly in the Face Painting section. The service is really awful. We went to get the kids face painted and they were just shouting towards the kids and the parents .. reason being .. themselves unable to organise and coordinate it properly. The queue line was messed up .. it was like whoever shouts the loudest gets the service first..
I'f I could I would give them (-) minus points for being so unapologetic.

Great place for kids to learn a little bit about real life. My 4yr and 8yr olds loved earning money and being able to buy something with their hard earned cash. A little pricey for the brown ups food and drink but an education for us all.

Brilliant and a far better experience than a theme park. Attended with a 5 yr and a 9yr. Whilst there was enough for a 5yr I would say that 6+ will get the most from this.

Although we attended during a half team week, queues were reasonable. Sure, the Pilot and Firefighter were long (30-45 mins), but many other jobs had very short queues. And a 45 min queue at an attraction over half term is part of life. Indeed, overall there is far less queuing than other attractions.

For faster (and equally enjoyable events), strongly recommend the Air Conditioning (its a climbing frame) and the Animation Studio (even my 5yr enjoyed this).

Food was not cheap... but better than most attractions.

The only cons were a slight lack of slickness in the operations (needed a bit more management of queues, timings etc - though the staff were all lovely) - surprisingly so, given that this is an international brand (though I guess Londoner's are a bit more used to things being well organised).

Also they do not accept contactless for payment. Perhaps a small but important oversight (particularly in London) like this reveals the 'freshness' of the management.

Would recommend to go in a group. Same age friends for my children will make it easier on some of the attractilons.

Definitely the best kids day out in London. the children really enjoyed this. Plenty of places for parents to sit and enjoy a coffee whilst the kids work!

Good place for kids, but very busy. Kids must be very patient to join activities sometimes waiting time up to 15 min in line. Not much for under 4 years old they can get bored. Some activities are very good fun. Generally worth to visit.
Please in not friendly for buggy or pram users, during my visit lift was out of order. Strangers helped me to carry a buggy up and down stairs in very, very narrow staircase.
Staff were very helpful a few time run after my kids to inform about meeting point after each time.

My son got a voucher to visit KidZania for Christmas because he was desperate to do the BA Pilot Training. My advice - don't go in school holidays which of course is ironic because the time it's probably quiet and you can have a good experience is when the kids are in school and you can't visit! Went today and firstly went to the wrong Westfield (who has two shopping centres 10 miles apart with the same name!!) Anyway when we arrived the staff we very good and facilitated us despite us missing our original time slot.
It was very busy, my son got into the pilot training pretty quickly but the kids waiting for the cabin crew experience had been waiting for an hour. Queues were pretty much the same after that 30-45 minutes. Nowhere for parents to sit and you end up traipsing round with them and waiting next to the queue. He managed to only do a couple of things but he did enjoy it. Also the pizza at Firehouse was very good. Wouldn't visit again, too busy and the whole concept of having to pay for an 'optional' adult ticket is ridiculous unless you've got a teenager to push over the threshold. They are going to want you with them and quite rightly. Boring for parents and frustrating for kids.

Positives: Excellent idea for the kids! Nice venue......good props......a wide variety of informative activities to keep the young ones engaged and entertained. I would recommend that kids experience what KidZania has to offer.

Negatives: Staff - Most of the staff we came across weren't as friendly as I thought they may have been especially around the kids. They did not appear to be as patient as is definitely needed for dealing with kids. Some kept straight faces, no smiles. These are noticeable...even to the kids. They weren't all bad; there were a few here and there who were enthusiastic and who kept the young ones excited. Definite improvement needed however.

Another negative was technology. You are made to wear an electronic bracelet on entry and you are tagged everywhere you go and everything you do including purchases (a bit excessive to be honest). This computerized system obviously suffered several glitches because you will stand in the queue (anywhere from 15 - 40 mins) and when you get to the front and your bracelet is scanned, it doesn't work. You now have to leave the queue and walk back to the front desk to have your bracelet sorted and then return to the end of the queue.....utterly frustrating!

Possibly, because the establishment is still fairly new, there are some 'teething' problems still being experienced. Hopefully it gets better....soon!

Distinguished experience for children, educational and entertaining at the same time, I do not recommend visiting with schools. Ask the staff before booking, about the offers, you have to save you on the upper floor, and then the ground is quiet for the last hour and a half.

Absolutely terrible. My nine year old daughter left in tears because after two hours at Kidzania she only managed to do one experience (the Pokemon animation studio). The rest of the time was spent queuing or waiting in holding areas in complete silence with other children.
We had never been to Kidzania before but alarm bells sounded upon arrival that made me think the whole place may be chaotic. You have to go up several escalators to get to the check-in desk and when you get to the top escalator you have to queue. There was no crowd control whatsoever (in these COVID times when we should be distancing). It reached a point where families were reaching the top of the escalator and were unable to get off because of the sheer number of people waiting at the top. One father had to run to the Kidzania employees and alert them to the dangerous situation developing. Not one employee noticed what was happening.
Never again. Waste of money. Disinterested employees.

I really enjoyed this place and a fantastic, huge and brave development for children to learn rather than just play. The aim is for kids to learn the value of work and financial reward by trying different professions in pretend scenarios like firemen on a mission to stop a building blaze. I was here for a charity day for underprivileged children and they loved every minute of it. I'm going to bring my own kids but a little young still. I would say 5 years plus would get the most from this experience. It must be difficult organising lots of children and so I agree having good staff makes a difference.

My 8 year old daughter loves it here! She loves the freedom to walk around the child-friendly city, trying out various jobs and spending her own 'Kidzo's'. The arm band system makes me feel she is safe and can't leave the city without me. That means I can enjoy a coffee, while she is off having fun

I've been wanting to take my kids to kidzania for years and finally when I got the opportunity it wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be. Firstly, theres hardly anything to do for under 4yrs. Theres so much missed opportunity (only a kitchen with items missing and few soft play items)

Its clear big companies are sponsoring Kidzania and it was nice for my kids to experience what itll be like working for Shell for example and to earn money which then can be spent on the shop. Some reviewers mentioned that you'll have to have a lot of kidzos to be able to get a bouncy ball which is true but you cant expect too much from a place which barely has activities for under 4 and over charges food.

Finally, the music is too much and what was playing was not appropriate for kids. Too loud as well and not taking autistic kids or kids with ADHD into account.

There is no zero star as the place is total chaos, we went there today with 4 kids all 7 and under the staff were so unhappy, they did not engage with the kids and the whole 4 hours consists of queues. We went to do the shop activity lined the kids up we were told adults must stand aside as they let our group in, the youngest 4 year old was left out. She wondered off not knowing why her cousins went in and she had to wait absolutely disgusting. Massive disappointment as we had high expectations having visited Kidzania in Dubai this did not compare. 4 hours in this place is not enough as everyone is trying to do as must as they can and are far too stressed. Fully aware at peek times it will be busier however the staffing levels were not adaquate, eg we did the misson wrap activity there was only 1 staff in there he'll do 1 activity it takes 20 mins, then he needs another 20 mins to set up for the next group, even the kids worked out he needed a helper. Is it that difficult????? While they are doing the packaging the helper can clean the bench. A business like this should staff accordingly during peak times it obviously going to be busy offer overtime, take on temps etc thats what retail stores to during Christmas. The whole 4 hours were an absolute joke. CEO EDDIE KEMSLEY send the London team to Dubai to see what service is as London Kidzania is a disgrace.

Kidzania is a great place to take your kids and I myself have been there a few times. This last time I was disappointed however. I sat down at Costa Coffee and let my kids roam free. I went to Costa coffee for a sandwich and customer service was just appalling. The cashier was texting on her phone. I had to actually wait for her to finish. And when she did she went into conversation with her colleague. I didn't let that bother me. I just went back to my seat and did some reading.

My kids were looking forward to the fire brigade activity. When they got there... The truck was not in operation. I was bumped but again not the end of the world. After our four hour slot we decided to go and buy our pictures. Only one picture was taken of them throughout the whole day. The one time I decide to let them go off on their own and just buy the pictures instead of taking any myself, we are left with no memories. I don't understand why. It was not busy at all. The kids did not have to wait long for any of the activities. I have been there at busier times and had plenty of pictures taken. Real shame.

Me and my girlfriend decided it would be great to take our 2kids to KidZania London, it was a little pricy, but what was promised was too good to turn down! We checked in after waiting an age to get our E-tickets printed, there were only 2 staff sorting a cue with no less than 30 people in it. Nether the less, we entered KidZania and were fitted with the state of the art security tags, we weren t given any direction, no map, no information. Onward we went, the kids were given their 50 kidsos, but instantly we were collared with lanyard money wallets, the kids wanted to buy them, and since it s a city ran by kids, you d think you could spend your kidsos on them, no not a chance, I chose to pay out for them as the kids wanted them, but I don t think that is fair, then there s the lockers we had to pay again! To lock our items in a locker, unreal! However, we did go on, to find out how it works, and the kids had little waits now and again to do certain activities, there are a couple that strangely you have to pay to do? That really does not make sense! After working you receive the kidsos payment, the had 96 kidsos each, and when the day ended, we went through to the shop, bombarded with expensive items to buy, with real money, the kidsos shop is next door to it, and is nothing short of an absolute joke, you can buy pencils, lunchboxes, cars, and loads of other cheap tat, however, nothing that resembles what you would work for in real life, it s a shame, this place has so much to offer, it could be so much more, instead it s just another boring rip off, London attr@ction, there is no way our kids will be coming back.

It was the first time I took my daughter and her friend. I was unaware that some of the activities were on rota, ie one staff has to do two activities, so if they were doing one, the other one was closed hence the kids ended up queuing much longer than expected to. The long queuing times I felt were due to a lack of staff. I do wonder how much Kidzania are offering as an hourly rate.

I went on a school trip to Kidzania and it was very disappointing. The queues make it very hard for the children to try many activities, also often so few children can go into an activity that it means you are split up waiting for ages. The staff don t keep to the timings they advertise, many activities are abandoned and you don t know what is open and what is closed. It is such a shame as it could be great but really no good as a school l trip, a real waste of time, money and so disappointing for the children. Do not bring your school here.
