Overall, very good experience. A good variety of activities to try. However leaving parents to self manage the kids in queueing for activities needs to be controlled as I witnessed a few arguments with parents bumping their kids into a queue or bringing two or three others to join a sibling. Staff need to take more ownership of this. Also it was about 6.45 and was told the K-mart queue was closed. Was rushing around trying to find an activity before close. I thought the place closed at 7.00!

KidZania is BRILLIANT i rave about it at any opportunity... there is plenty for kids 5+ to do any younger and they may not be able to get the full potential from it. At the end there is an opportunity to use up any remaining KidZania "money" at the shop , its a really lovely experience

Worked there for sometime. Treatment of staff is awful. The girls and guys working hard on ground level are pushed. Hardly anytime to themselves for food or toilet breaks. Mentally draining. Food is way too expensive and there is no Mc'Donalds or KFC. The restaurants provide poor food for the cost.

Poor experience. save your money and go to a park and have a nice day.

The fifth circle of hell!!!

The fifth circle of hell!!!
We ve been to many kids activity parks across the world but this place is so chaotic I just can t find much positive to say about it. As other reviewers mentioned, you will spend the majority of your day queuing and walking around in circles. Parents can t participate but also can t really go anywhere either, it was a bloody awful experience for the whole lot of us. Never again!

I wanted to take my 5 year old nephew out for the day and spend time with him and for that reason this wasn't a good choice. I spent 30 minutes watching him queue up and then look a bit bemused and bored doing the police task. We left soon after that. The kids that seemed to be having the most fun were with siblings/friends and slightly older.

Shame there wasn't much to buy with the kidzos the children earn whilst inside, but a great experience for the children of life. If I could have done the activities I would have

Whilst the concept is amazing, allowing little ones to be adults, our first (and only!) experience there was poor.

Some of the activities have a wait of up to 45 minutes! And although us Brits like a good queue, half the people in attendance totally flout the children already queuing and will push their children in line at the point of entry to the activity, and what do the people working there do? Nothing.

A majority of staff working there have zero enthusiasm. There were a few gems there that really stood out and were great interacting with the children, but we only encountered 3 staff like this all day.

Food and drink cost a fortune.

Towards the end of the day, a fight broke out between parents at the queue for the British Airways experience resulting in management attending. What was the fight over? Queue jumping, surprise surprise.

There s no denying that the site looks very impressive and certainly has the wow factor on entry but my family found it to be a very unpleasant experience and would not recommend.

I took 2 10 year old boys - they had a good day but considering we went on a 'quiet ' day there was still so much standing around and queuing, each experience says it lasts between 10 - 20 mins but they last alot longer and with only a max of 8 children going into each activity they are queing more than doing during the day.

My biggest disappointment was the shop at the end - they work hard earning money so they can by something and were really excited to spend their wages and the shop not only sold a load of old toot but it was expensive toot - 40 kidzoos for a pencil !!! I wouldn't bother going again but as I said the boys had a good day.

6. I don't want to know what kind of your terms and conditions you have, but it is totally not fair, and all you want is MONEY MONEY MONEY. No body want to care about our feelings, even at the last stage, while I was crying outside the gate and screaming about the unfairness I have been through, Sarah, the birthday party manager did offer anything to let me calm down. SHE WAS TRYING TO CALL THE SECURITY TO KICK ME OUT. SARAh, although you talked in a very low voice, but my friend heard it.
7. FROM THE BEGINNING IN THE COMMUNICATION WITH KIDZANIA MANEMEMNT TEAM, NOBODY TRIED TO OFFERED ME ANYTHING TO CALM ME, EVEN A GLASS OF WATER. ONLY EMILY GAVE ME A TISSUE, WHICH MADE ME FEEL LIKE, THIS IS HOW A CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TREATED. ALL THE MANAGEMENT TEAM WANTED, IS TO MAKE ME BECOMING THE GILTY PERSON, WHO DID NOT READ [TERMS & CONDITIONS] VERY WELL.
8. Finally, I compromised, that to have cakes outside after lunch time, then they said "NO, ONCE YOU GET OUT OF PLAY ZONE, YOU CANNOT GO BACK AGAIN. THIS IS OUR RULE." Yes, I understand that. This is your rule that treat us like a prisoner. I paid 4hs tickets, why I couldn't go back after we have the cake? This is brutal and ruthless. I PAID FOR 4HS, WE HAVE TO FOLLOW YOUR RULE. OTHERWISE WE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PLAY ZONE.
9. ALSO, THANKS SARAH, FOR THE DIRTY LOOKS YOU SENT TO ME DURING OUR CONVERSATION. ALSO THANKS FOR YOUR TEAMS THAT NOT TELLING EVERYTHING in a truth way to your higher manager DEAN.
10. I do hope that every one in your management team will read terms and conditions every time in the future. And also I hope you a merry Xmas, and hope you and your kids can be treated in the same way as I have been treated today, in the future.
Sincerely

Zoe

For young children this is fine, a nice place for children to do activities. But if you are over the age of 11 then do not even bother. A lot of thought when into this, just not for older children.

KidZania, sick!!!

KidZania, sick!!!
The worse present that you or your kids will ever receive i know how?!. My mum and dad got two tickets for my kid and my kids friend. They seen advertising on tv and they believed it buy getting tickets they will help my kid to choose her role whom she may wanna be when she gets old to work.
Sick. Do not believe advertising on tv about this place.
I tell you, you can do better take them to a museum or science museum or park or zoo or any where far from this place. By doing so you will safe your money and give your kids best life expirians ever.
KidZania is sick and far from delivering what they show in they adds on tv.
Is like going to hair dresser and expecting that hair shop will give you diploma for life.
No go to college!!!

Took my 6 year old and her 5 year old cousin. They had an amazing 4 hours. Plenty of things to do, in fact we could spend another 4 hours and do completely new activities. Staff are very friendly. Was a joy to see their faces when they completed their jobs and got paid. A bit pricey but as a one off i think it's worth it. In my opinion perfect for 5 - 10 year old. Any older and they might find it a bit childish. We went Sunday 11am where it wasn't too busy until after 1pm. Overall a great day.

Excellent experience. Plenty to choose and do for the kids. Gives them the opportunity of performing tasks for money and buy themselves a goodie at end of day. Overall excellent. Can be a queue for some activities but that is to be expected.

Very overpriced for something kids can do anywhere. Plus Staff where very rude, whom where all kids with next to experience in what they where saying, which where all most likely to script's. I say that cause they were unable yo answer my 8 year old question's. Last thing to purchase from their gift or snake store be prepared to pay extortionate prices.

I enjoyed the experience but lunch time ruined it. I ordered a PLAIN burger for my little brother, about 15 minuets later he comes and sited at the table opens the burger and finds mustard, tomatoes, cucumber and more. I told the lady who was at the till and she said we won t give you a refund at this point she could tell I was annoyed I said this is not a plain burger she stormed of didn t say sorry and made a new one but with a grumpy face it was awesome but lunchtime was not great the food was sooo expensive and the staff were rude.

I took 2 girls to KidZania today. I should say kids enjoyed but I noticed lots of things are closed even after 10.30am when supposed to open all activities in the upstairs. There is no cafe opened upstairs when they opened upstairs ( yes otherwise how do I know?) Which is annoying to parents. The response said it is quiet time they close some workshops but it was very busy wk during half term!!!!!Also supposed to be free WIFI was not working at all but near by M&S free Wifi was working at certain place in kidzania.
It is charging whatever the money they can charge , lockers or lenyards to keep kids money of kizzo. Waiting time is so long, not sure if you go after 11 am you can enjoy anything. It is very expensive and not up to the expectation. And so many little kids like under 4, or around 5 year old so older kids might not get as much as they should get for enjoyments.
Theatre which my children wanted to go on did not have any queue system so we missed out completely. There is no information of what time next session happening at all.It was same last time also.
Only good new thing is bank card feature, to get that children worked out how much they need to earn ( need 75kidzzo). However none of bank machine worked. That was dissappinting.

We first took our grandchildren (then aged 5 and 1) to kidzania, some months ago. We were very impressed with the concept, although the prices for the adults and the 1 year old made the experience very expensive. It is very unfair to charge so much for adults, especially when every child HAS to be accompanied and the so called play area for toddlers is a disgrace and doesn't justify any fee at all. But the 5 year old had a great time and, luckily, we booked really early and so she only had to queue towards the end of her four hour session, when it did start to get very crowded.
So to make it affordable for her parents to take her, we bought her an annual pass for Christmas. The annual pass can only be issued when the child has a photograph taken on her first attendance and so we assumed that this is when the 12 months would start, but Kidzania tried to say that it started form the date of purchase on line! We argued and got a compromise whereby the pass started form the date on Kidzania's e-mailed confirmation of purchase. But the annual pass is expensive enough, without the need for this greedy pedantic attitude.
Our granddaughter has now used her annual pass twice and the queues have got worse each time. I can't understand hwy they make oyu book as it doesn't seem that they are applying any limit on the number of children allowed in at any one time. Like so many other people have said, there aren't enough members of staff, it's way too crowded and hot and it's all about making as much money as possible, with no regard whatsoever for customer satisfaction. It's a short sighted view and in spite of hte fantastic concept, Kidzania really doesn't deserve to succeed.

I think its amazing. It's fun and entertaining. I would recommend it to children. I had a blast there. There was lots to go on you got paid and there was lots to discover and do. Also I actually does look like a city and its its actu run by kids. The only thing that's bad is the gift shop when we went there u couldn't really buy lots for our kidzos. So if u want something with your kidzos you have to work more. But all in all its brilliant ,fun and a once in a lifetime experience.

A fantastic day out for kids who get to try out several different jobs under one roof, from firefighter, police officer to window cleaner, vet, cabin crew and pilot. They earn Kidzania money and get to spend it in the shop at the end of their visit. My only criticisms: 1) you need to earn a LOT of Kidzania cash to buy anything in the shop and can't use real cash if you don't have enough which is really poor and meant my son ended a great day out in tears because he couldnt afford to buy anything (an unnecessary lesson for a five year old), 2) kids are sent off on their own (unsupervised) to do tasks when they 'working' which really isn't safe in such a crowded environment so be prepared to follow your kid around a lot. Fantastic concept though.

The concept of this place is very good...however the execution is shocking. Told that my nearly 2 year old could do quite a few of the activities with his 4 year old brother. Turned out he could only go in a tiny soft play area. Queued for over half an hr for activities. People jumping the queue not being monitored by staff. Took 90 minutes to get one activity done. Lift out of service and no alternative to getting a buggy upstairs to the baby section. Would make sense to allocate 6 activities with guaranteed times on entry, and then leave it up to the parents to try and find the times that suit the other activities.

Ok

Decided to do this as a day out like at a theme park, so as not to be disappointed. Also we did it midweek on a day off to that it wouldn't be as busy - and luckily it wasn't.

The kids enjoyed it. We were happy, but still a little disappointed.

The kids get 4 hours to do as much as they can, and they won't be able to do all the activities (if they are all open), but can end up doing most of them. We do want to go back again, but not too soon as we will end up repeating most of the stuff. Perhaps we'll leave it 6 - 12 months and then go see if they have expanded or revamped some of the activities.

We were lucky it wasn't too busy (even on week days they get school outing to Kidzania), but even they we did have to wait for all the activities. Anything between 4 minutes - 10 minutes. The ones with longer queues, we went away and did a different activity and then came back. I really would not advise going at peak times.

The cost is a little pricey, especially for adults who are sitting around most of the time. Yes you are watching the children having fun and taking some photos, but it's too much to pay for 4 hours of doing nearly nothing.

Overall it was good for the kids and we will hopefully go back some day and see if it has improved. Yes I would recommend this place and especially what it is trying to do, but with only 3 stars as there is a lot of room for improvement. Also please note that we were staying locally when we did this.

A great time for the kids, with plenty to do. Our first time here, but will definitely come back as you need more than 4 hours to do everything. I would aim to go first session or last, to ensure quieter times to queue, as you can't just start the jobs. The radio shack was out of use the entire day due to a technical fault, this can't be helped but our Son was specifically looking forward to this. Food prices were as to be expected for this sort of thing, but you can bring food in.

I took my 5 year old son to Kidzania. We had to pay 45 pounds (adult plus child's tickets). My son wanted to try a pilot experience first. So, we had to queue up for 40 minutes. Then, I wasn't allowed to go inside (what did they charge me money for, probably for waiting outside). I couldn't take any photos but they had a professional photographer taking pictures, they will charge for it later. After that, my son didn't want to try anything else as he didn't want to queue up again. As a result we paid 45 pounds for 15 minutes of pilot experience with real airport queues. It's too crowded, too pricey, badly organised!!!! Save your money for something else, there are so many exciting things for kids in London which are much more fun and much cheaper!!!!!

Not worth the money. Food and drinks are expensive, kids got bored and tired waiting in long queues and not much "job experience"!interaction (apart from delivery and cashier jobs). Staff looked like they didn't want to be there either. Spent the whole day there and kids managed only 5 things in the whole entire place of 'activities'. Some things were also closed.
