We had to wait for a long time before every activity and prices were very expensive. Most activities were over crouded and wait time was long. My 12 yearold daughter found the place very boring and baby-ish. This place should be recommended ages 4-10 as older kids will get bored. Btw when we went there was only young kids I didn't see anyone over age 10 and I understand as it is babyish.
My advice is not to go if your kids are over age 10

Very over-hyped and over-priced. There was very little for our younger child to do (2 yrs old). We went to the library where staff seemed bored and uninterested. We read some nice books but I guess we could do this for free in a public library. There wasn't even any soft play facilities.

Our older child (8 yrs old) did enjoy the hospital and being a security guard. However, there was a lot of waiting for popular jobs and again many staff lacked enthusiasm; which I guess is understandable if you are doing the same play role day-in-day-out. I think he would have had more fun if he came with friends/cousins but was shy to fully engage on his own.

Perhaps, my expectations were too high.

Came on a Saturday 12pm, place is hectic as expected but kids have to que and other kids push in, no real regulation, food is pricey on top of ticket prices, if there was a quieter time to go then it would have been a better experience, overall there's lots of different shops for kids to do activities, overall it's a good idea it just needs a more robust system and also they should have timers for each shop to tell you how long until the next batch can go in, we ended up waiting 40 mins to go in the supermarket.

It is a nice place for kids but it is too crowded that the kids will stay in queues for the most of the 4 hours, they will get so tired and bored and will only be able to play 3 or 4 games from the 60

Greeted by a rude lady at the entrance. Then had to wait over 30 minutes to pick up our tickets after we had already booked online. Then had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes to get through the front door. So all in all after waiting 1 hour we went downstairs to ask for our money back. Waste of 1 hour I can never get back. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very disappointed! There are really big queues (approximately 30-40 min). Sitting on a queue about 30 min, my daughter wanted to the WC, we left our granny on the queue that no miss our turn. But when we returned (after few minutes) staff told that we lost our turn, because only children can stay on a queue but no adults! If it is just for kids why adults ticket cost so much? For what parents should to pay? And there are no option to leave 6 year old on their own, so adult must buy ticket and supervised their children.
In general, your rules are self-contradictory. You declare that this is a city for children, therefore only children can take a queue. While on the territory lots of cafes where children can not buy something for the money earned in kidzania.
The next place where they just want to earn on your children is practically giving nothing in return.
Staff not suitable for working with children.
Everything is very badly thought out!

Went with a group of 10 children ages ranging from 4 to 8 and they all had a great time. Lots to do to inspire the imagination and I was also impressed with how educational it was. Favourites were the midwifery section with life like dolls and the chocolate factory where they were also shown where coco comes from.

Where to start... it should be fun, it should be exciting, it should ve been worth the money but we paid a fortune to drag around bored and uninspired kids! It started well with some parcel deliveries but then it descended into a farce. Some events you pay for and some you earn but there seems to be no rhyme or reason which is which. My daughter wanted to hoard the money to buy herself something so wouldn t do much. My son kept getting bored in the endless queues and kept leaving them midway through. We then started to get miffed so not the cheery fun we were expecting. The staff were very pleasant but there never seemed to be any hurry to move things along. By the time they got to do the Cadbury event there never was such a miserable set of kids all set to make some chocolate. For many of the events they paid for they got talked at for at least half the time rather than doing anything. It is such a lovely idea but the execution was poor and for the money I was expecting a lot more.

My son just came back from a school trip. He is a really easy going guy and he did not enjoy the day.

All the the things that looked fun were chargeable.

My son said he queued all day to participate in just two attractions. Crawling in a vent and dressing a manuquin. He found both to be boring. He queued for so long that he was sure the attractions would be worth it but were a disappointment.

My son is 12 years old, so maybe this is aimed at younger children.

I find it a little cynical to charge an entrance fee and then oversell the tickets so no one can enjoy themselves.

I went there with my 4,6 and 8 years. On the entrance everyone is provided with electronic wrist band which they scan on each atraction and in case of you loos child , there is screen where you screen your s band and see the location of the other/s , all great idea but they hadn t pair main main with my kids so wasn't any helpful for me .
Also they are provided with pretending money they have to pay for each attractions so no more money no more fun , even they get paid for some thinv but still , what kids leant out of it , I want more money is vert sensitive topic teaching kids about money and for me personally absolute unacceptable!
The place itslef is great , kids might to have fun but there is way much more to do . I agree with some of the reviews that has a lot product positioning , I mean which 4 or 5 years old knows H n M or big yellow storage or shell
Its a little too early to wash their s brain.
Also again agree on the queueing problem , how can you make a 4 or 5 years old come with all existence and Impatience to wait 20min or even 40min , well very few kids would do. They make enough money could have some control of the people in order of overcrowded and quality of fun and enjoy. The place in mean time is too busy , noice ( dance club music -very childish ) and there is little car-vans running through as part of the attractions ,beeping makes it all too stressful .
Unfortunately again is feel very like a money making machine. We went to a dentist place where they got dress sat on chair , a photographer took picture ( which of course you have to pay for ) and bye bye next customs please.
There is way much more to do with kids , not very creative.

Some of the attractions are very well made like fair station , Brutishairways ( waiting time 20min +) delivery company and few things with electronic games and PC which the 8 years loved.
As conclusion I must say that the guy doing the face painting was my favourite bit . He is creative, fun and good artist . I would love to have him for my kids b-days , he is just amazing in all aspects !
The rest of the staff are up and down all depends of the day , they had , but thats how it is most places isn t it ?
Good to come one in life time when isnt busy otherwise I would think again.

Not suitable for young families, even though advertise for 4+ kids aged 4-6 did not enjoy no flexibility and kids instructions shouted at them. Young staff working there with little or no experiace working with children some rude amd not able to cope with kids . Unlike pther attractions this one had nothing catering for under 4 even though they say there is. There is no refund policy and Management are useless giving the usual cooperate cr**p. Definately not worth money better spent elsewhere.

Amazing place. Best for children betweem six and ten I would say. So much to do. Not many queues when we went and very cleqrly labelled as to how lomg to wait os easy to do something else and come back. Many had no queues at all. Staff lovely and my girls said it was the best thing they had ever done. Plenty of places to eat and sit down and quite educational too. My children manged to do ten things each.

Before I went into Kidzania I thought it was an overpriced pointless kids activity. However I was pleasantly surprised by the set up.
We went on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm for 4 hours. There were no queues to enter and the security within the complex is brilliant. All group members wear a watch which tags your last activity and time.
Upon entering you are given 50 kidzos and you can spend or earn kidzos. Earning the kidzos is fairly easy, top tip - try and go to the least popular ones without queues to get more money and save time. Try and time your activities especially if you only have 2 hours.
I was rather disappointed with the smoothie making, this costs 12 kidzos and you pretend to make a smoothie and at the end you get given a packaged innocent smoothie straight from the fridge. The chocolate factory wasn't any more impressive. Again 12 kidzos, you make an inedible chocolate then collect your chocolate bar on the way out. This happens to be a wrapped chunk of cadburys dairy milk. Not a bar!
The least impressive was the glitter tattoos at 15 kidzos which took the man 10 seconds to spray on.
Anyhow as this is a child's world and not an adults world I shouldn't be so harsh. I took 4 seven year old, 1 ten year old and 1 twelve year old. All had a marvellous time, at first entering it was overwhelming however once they grasped the earning money, getting a bank account and spending they loved it. After about 30 minutes they were able to remember where's what and were happy to run around like maniacs making money.
Everyone had a great time, and they all want to return again soon. Even the 12 year old enjoyed it, although a lot of the activities are a little young for her.
I would say the best age group is from 6-10. Not many activities for under 5's.
A good day out, best time is from about 6pm when there are no queues as most people have left.
Although the ticket price seems pricey to start if you consider you can have your face painted, glitter tatoo, make a burger, smoothie, ice cream, and a wrap and gave lots of fun your ticket price has been covered.
Will definitely be returning.

If I could give this a lower score- I would. I would tell you this place is mainly for 5-9 year olds. Too many queues for younger kids, and everything's so babyish that anyone older wouldn't enjoy it.
Firstly, the website has so many LIES on it, or they haven't updated it in years. I was told you could get makeovers in the beauty salon, but the workers told me they do not do that anymore. We also were told there was a dominos, where you could buy a pizza with your kidzania money, but you can't!!!

The staff were also ruining your activities, as many stopped them to talk to their colleagues about their bad jobs 'the perks of having a zero hour contract' one woman kept moaning, which ruined my activity!
Also, there's a new chocolate room, where you'd expect to make the chocolate, and actually EAT it in the end. YOU CANT!!!! Apparently it's a hot 'dangerous' chemicals put in it and you'll get ill if you eat it!! WHY WOULD YOU PUT IT INFRONT OF LOTTLE KIDS FACES THEN??!!! You also had to pay 8 kodzos for it, then you get a voucher at the end. After this terrible trip I was looking forward to getting a free chocolate bar, BUT ITS JUST DAIRY MILK FROM A CELEBRATIONS BOX!!! They're tiny!!!! It was my brothers birthday and it was the worst thing he's ever done. The staff didn't even care that he was crying and we were trying to explain to them how BAD it is!!! They must've heard it all before because they honestly didn't care!!
The ladies at the front desk seem very perky, but after you get past them it's havoc and a mess and you need your parents with you to find where your going.
We also arrived at 10am but nothing was open until 11!! So we had to wait for 1 hour until everything was open!!!

Would I recommend this? No.

Highlight to my day:
Leaving.

Just remember: EVERYTHING IS JUST A CHEAP VERSION OF WHAT IT SAYS ON THE WEBSITE AND YOUTUBE. I wish I had someone to tell me what I told you. Honestly, don't bother going.

The entire day we spent at Kidzania London yesterd...

The entire day we spent at Kidzania London yesterday was a waste of valuable time and money. Despite appearances, Kidzania does not put the child at the core of the experience.

The day started with a 25 minute queue to enter the premises despite the fact that we had already booked our tickets online. This was how the entire day carried on - lots of waiting and complete chaos. The facilities are great, but the long wait times for each activity (20-60 minutes) are completely unrealistic for children. Kids are expected to sit on benches I engaged and unentertained outside each activity and wait their turn. Sitting still for long periods of time is not developmentally appropriate for Kidzania s target age group. This seriously flawed system leaves me wondering if the creators know anything at all about children and their behaviour. It was excruciating standing there with my five year old son and his friend trying to keep them patient / entertained / sane while waiting their turn. As a result, we only got to experience a couple of things as the majority of the day was spent in queues where the kids were unengaged and bored and misbehaving as a result. The total opposite of why we came to Kidzania.

If you are considering a trip to Kidzania, please think long and hard before visiting. There are so many worthwhile attractions in London which genuinely put the child at the core of the experience.

Went today for the first time and it was really disappointing. We had prebooked as a party, but it was a chaotic queuing system to get in with members of staff telling us to go to different queues etc and changing their minds a couple of minutes later, even telling adults to leave their children queuing while they queued at a different desk. The children then got swallowed up by the huge throng of people and were in tears. 30/40 mins wait for most of the attractions. Many of the attractions especially the ones my elder son was looking forward to were closed. We queued in two different food outlets about 1pm to be told that they had run out of burgers/fries, cheese and other staple ingredients. Lots of queue jumping . I'm sorry to say we won't be coming back.

Took our 8 and 10 year olds on Sunday August 20th.... had an amazing time so much to see and do.... we originally booked just for the kids but when we arrived we booked on as well, glad we did just to give them a bit of help and guidance... don't personally think they would of got the most out of it on their own... they managed to do 10 and 9 activities respectively and it was an action packed for hours which they loved... the workers were all of a fairly young age and on the whole very good although some were a little off task... the ques were absolutely fine...

I agree with Maria s review below, there is not much fun for the children, loud music blaring and not value for money.

I am trying to think of a positive, and the only thing I can come up with is that the owners should be commended for trying to come up with something different and creative.

Rather, it is a nice marketing platform for the brands and companies that are featured at the venue!

Paid a small fortune to come here as a family. It was overcrowded, unorganised and chaotic. Run by unmotivated staff, queues spilling over and kids running around everywhere. They let too many people in, strange rules such as kids supposed to queue without parents. No room for parents during activities as they're not allowed in. Long wait of 45min plus for a lot of the activities. Kids didn't enjoy it and we left early and disappointed.

I brought my daughter to the place and the place inside was nice and clean and well organised, but what I noticed is that some staff where disorganised as I was standing and waiting to fill up my requiring papers to hand over the child but staff keep in flipping the papers up and down and couldn't rearrange the papers before handing it to me!!! Until other staff show up and explained and informed she me that she is new staff !!
Other staff called freen was rejecting me to access with the mother of child until I clear to her that other staff confirmed me I can access and she said it's ok ... and I saw many parents setting inside with no issues...what was more surprising to me is that same staff I meet when I was leaving and taking the child and she took from me the official receipt (which belong to me and but her signature on my receipt and kept it with her..... and told me ok it's done .....other staff interfered and told her this is his receipt returned it to him ... why you are taking it ?? her reply to other staff was shocking as she said " IT MAKE ME FEEL GOOD" wooww how can you keep your children with someone like that having issues .......

They said the place was busy and that's why the half a hour queues at most of the activities. Do the math on how much fun your kid can have in 4 hours. I can compare it with Please touch museum in Philadelphia and one more place in New Jersey. Kidzania is zero. Go somewhere else with dedicated activities, your kid will have more fun and they won't queue or work for those stupid activities.

As others have said on here, interesting idea but terrible experience. Far too many people crammed into this dingy little place, resulting in hours of queuing and a horrible claustrophobic atmosphere. Some of the staff were good but others very surly and clearly didn't like working with children. It also felt quite chaotic with bigger children regularly pushing in front of the queue and no-one at hand to keep order. Perhaps most importantly the activities were just boring and unimaginative. Finally, and to be fair this is not the fault of kidzania but something to be aware of, the parking at Westfield was horrendous - spent about an hour driving round trying to find a space. Avoid.

Great fun for the family! The thing with the kidzo money is a bit of a rip off when it comes to spending them in the shop. Each activity, the children had great fun. Its impossible to try everything in the 4 hour time slot, but it's worth going back in all fairness. The food is very overpriced, but easy to access. Overall the experience is brilliant, there really is something for everyone.

It's a good concept and the design and athmosphere are nice, but the waiting times are so long that you get to do only 3-5 activities within the allocated 4 hours slot. Qiite disappointing feom this point of view.

If the current ticket price was reduced to half for the 4 hours slot or kept as is, but for a full day (as it is in Dubai, for example), then it would be definitely worth your time and money; and I would have rated it as 4 stars.

To get one more star they would need to display waiting times, ensure there is no queue jumping and have an app like the theme parks do (I did not see a link to one on the website, nor found it in the play store).

This place is a complete joke, I queue for 35 mins for the Cadbury experience WITH my children, for the woman with 2 children in front of me to all of a sudden have about 10 children, obviously by that point my little ones (6 and under, hers were around 8) had enough and burst into tears, where s the staff telling people the children have to line up as the signs state, this place is under staffed and OVER priced! So disappointed my little girls bday was ruined!

The place was great for children but unfortunately...

The place was great for children but unfortunately the staff need alot more training with customer service and how to make sure that the people paying actually are spoken to and dealt with more professionally.
I approached the Security area to be told to go to the Customer service Desk. I approached the Customer service Desk and requested to buy a Child ticket and an adult ticket using an Entertainer Voucher(basically a buy one get one entry free); the lady had no clue what I was talking about; her colleague looked at me; looked at the app and said call them as it says which in fact it says to book to get the cheaper rate and walk up rates will be higher. After standing in the queue the staff could have been more polite plus more helpful. I was alone with a 4yr old and a 2yr old who were by this point bor3d of waiting. I had to then call the Customer service number and explain the situation and then pay over the phone whilst my 2 son's were restless.
After paying for the tickets I realised that I had not been charged for my youngest and the Security guard advised me to visit the 2nd floor. I had a pram so I needed to go in the lift- I got out the next floor and found Marks and Spencers; I then went to the next floor which was the entry area where I met Sadia. Sadia was amazing and worth 5*; she assisted me and advised that the 2nd floor is not accessible by lift and actually took me to the 2nd floor and helped sort out the ticket for my youngest. She then came back upstairs with me and ensured that all the stuff was done and I got into kidzania with no more issues.

Kidzania is a lovely place and I love how they have a 4hr limit per visit which means that everyone gets to come in and they can limit the number of ppl in the city and any given time. My son loved going around and being in the city. There were a couple of places that I felt more needed to be done where MOTHERS sat keeping places for their children meaning others had to then wait longer. One particular time I saw this was the Fire Station and although the staff were made aware they still allowed the particular child to have a turn. This I feel is a little unfair when many children were in that queue for a while.
My son loved the British Airways area but this is where I encountered a very RUDE and impolite member of staff. I had been using an international mobile to take pictures and I opened my mobile to check something and the lady rudely and loudly said NO Pictures with mobiles. Now there had been many parents who had actually escorted their child into the area and stayed with their child I Had been told this was not allowed and stayed outside; I also saw many parents taking pictures and not once did this female photographer say anything.

Unfortunately the negative stars are because of the members of staff who were rude and impolite; the positive stars are for Sadia who was amazing and the helpful staff who I did come across.
Don't expect much from some of the staff.
The price is a little high and if you plan on sending your children more than once consider getting the annual pass as there are also 5 adults passes meaning you actually save yourself money.

We loved the idea of this concept and had heard good things about it over the years so decided to take my sons there for one of their birthday's. Unfortunately the 'experience' is mostly a superficial one with the stations (police/fire/medical etc) looking promising but not delivering very much in the way of an actual experience. The staff (who can blame them) seemed entirely unenthused by it all. The waiting time was crazy- how can you expect 6 and 8 year olds to wait 45 mins (min) for the BA pilot experience. The other experiences we had to wait on average 20 mins for and didnt even bother waiting for those with waits of 30 mins +. It's expensive and does not deliver on the promise. We will not be going back and not recommending. I think this could be really amazing but sadly falls very short at the moment.
