My son got a voucher to visit KidZania for Christmas because he was desperate to do the BA Pilot Training. My advice - don't go in school holidays which of course is ironic because the time it's probably quiet and you can have a good experience is when the kids are in school and you can't visit! Went today and firstly went to the wrong Westfield (who has two shopping centres 10 miles apart with the same name!!) Anyway when we arrived the staff we very good and facilitated us despite us missing our original time slot.
It was very busy, my son got into the pilot training pretty quickly but the kids waiting for the cabin crew experience had been waiting for an hour. Queues were pretty much the same after that 30-45 minutes. Nowhere for parents to sit and you end up traipsing round with them and waiting next to the queue. He managed to only do a couple of things but he did enjoy it. Also the pizza at Firehouse was very good. Wouldn't visit again, too busy and the whole concept of having to pay for an 'optional' adult ticket is ridiculous unless you've got a teenager to push over the threshold. They are going to want you with them and quite rightly. Boring for parents and frustrating for kids.
