Scott's presentation in Ottawa today (20 Sep 14) re-inforced our desire to create wealth through real-estate. Simple logic of getting something basic and then making it better and more attractive is bound to increase the value. The rest of the ideas (setting goals, plan for the future, having the energy and flexibility, and, work with like-minded people) were reminders of how to make this work. Key to it all? Just attended the Scott McGillvray investment real estate seminar and was completely blown-away by the presentation! Scott's ability to inspire, educate, inform and entertain was truly impressive! I brought my 16 year old son as he is interested in real estate investment as a career opportunity and this seminar sealed the deal for him. He was so impressed by Scott's presentation that this solidified his career path.
Scott is an excellent speaker. He provides tons of info and really gets you thinking about real estate investing in different ways. Plus he's easy on the eyes, lol. If you get a chance to hear him speak, grab it.
The amount of wealth in knowledge, experience and skill that Scott delivers is priceless. The presentation was of the best I have been to in this year, very informative, and a real eye opener. It was funny, intelligent and you can relate on some levels. The introductory session further validated the direction that we have taken and with Scott's presentation I am truly motivated to continue this journey with my 18 year old son. I signed up for the 3 day education session with my son and I am looking forward in an oversight of my currnet portfolio with the Keyspire staff and utilizing their tools and strategies to build my portfolio and begin my son's. The event on Sunday July 20 was excellent. Very dynamic and inspirational. I am looking forward to taking the 3-day workshop in August. I certainly hope to gain a great deal of knowledge from this workshop.
I attended this event in Alliston with my son with the hopes of inspiring him to consider investing in real estate. In turn I was the one inspired and thinking of doing more than renting out my basement to generate income. I appreciate Scott's honest approach without the hype. I cannot attend the next August session but hope to be able to make the Toronto event. I have had an opportunity to scan through the CD that was provided and am finding it most helpful in answering some burning questions.
My wife and I drove from Midland to attend your seminar on February 8. We have been looking at properties and planning to move ahead with either renovating an older property or building new to rent and begin our journey towards financial security through real estate properties. I am a designer and general contractor which make this prospect so exciting for us. Doing this together is another exciting aspect of this venture. We found the seminar beyond our expectations. Scott is down to earth and presented through anecdotes that resonated with us through real life experiences. The 3 day workshop was outstanding but, when my husband and I decided to take the plunge and sign up for the membership I will admit, I felt apprehensive. But, when I got home and called my sister-in-law to tell her about the Keyspire experience I found I was really excited and the more I talked to her about it the more my worries faded and my enthusiasm grew. I'm excited to be on this path and I'm feeling more secure knowing I have Scott and Michael's experience and team behind me.
I recently attended one of Scott's Wealth Tour presentations, at the EY Centre in Ottawa, on Saturday, Nov. 1st. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to him recount his experiences, his successes and his knowledge in the field of real estate investing. So much so, that my son and I are very excited to attend his full weekend course at the end of November. We look forward to learning more about entering into real estate investment to achieve our future financial goals. Highly recommend it!

From the moment I entered the venue, I was greeted by the friendly Keyspire staff and directed to the event location. I was impressed with the organization and professionalism displayed in all areas. This is evidently a well-oiled machine. The presentations of Scott and Katie were upbeat, compelling, educational and motivating. I received a great introduction to the potential wealth investing in real estate can help me achieve. I'm excited and passionate about realizing my goals. For those who are unsure about real estate investing or who think they know that it is 'too risky' in our current market conditions take a few hours out of your day and get a little more information from the Keyspire team and Scott. Attended the Ottawa session with my daughter and we both really enjoyed it. The information was very helpful in showing that you don't have to have a lot of money to jump onto this type of investment but realistic in pointing out that it is not for someone looking for short-term results. I thought it was good that Scott also noted that this is not for everyone but that with good planning and assessment of the opportunities, one can certainly make money at this. Scott Mcgillvray did a very professional and engaging presentation. He was awesome.

I attended the seminar in Edmonton on Nov 2nd. I found Scott to be very engaging and easy to listen to. Where do I begin!! My husband (Remo) and I watch "Income Property" whenever we can and I was so excited to hear Scott was coming to Hamilton. I am a dental professional and attend many seminars/workshops yearly, Scott was one of the best public speakers I have seen. His presentation was clear, fluid, informative and funny! Scott is a truly amazing public speaker. The two hours really flew by, and I definitely walked away with some new knowledge, a desire to expedite my first investment purchase, and a few sore ribs from all of Scott's jokes. I went to the seminar with an interest in hearing Scott speak about his experience in real estate, as I have been thinking of getting involved in buying & renting real estate. I left with a commitment to myself to get started now, rather than waiting for some other "right" time.
My husband and I attended the Wealth Tour in London ON, April 26. OMG, what an exciting drive to our home in Guelph afterwards. We were not sure what to expect when attending this event though we are both familiar with Scott McGillivray s involvement with Income Property and real estate investing. The idea of creating income from real estate has been just a dream for many years. Listening to Scott this morning has caused us to take the steps leading to our realizing the potential income in our current property with a goal of expanding our equity holdings for further income. The exciting idea to me coming away from this event is real estate investment is not a get rich quick way of life, it is a way of life which rewards calculated, intelligent use of one s resources. My husband and I look forward to the exciting possibilities of working together toward earning additional income from smart real estate investment. Scott s presentation this morning hammered home the idea we must focus on change to achieve future results. Working on our attitude and skills learned at the future Keyspire Workshop will be important factors in our future real estate investment success(es).
A few days ago I attended a 3 days workshop with keyspire in Montreal. Overall I thought it was pretty bad. Let me explain.
I heard about Keyspire on Facebook, and attended one of their preview event, where Scott McGillivray explained his history of investing in real estate, and how you could do the same to help you achive goals in your life. Pretty inspiring really. At the end of this talk, Keyspire was selling a $1000+tx 3 days workshop about learning to invest in real estate, including personal coaching sessions. Sounded great.
At the workshop itself, I learned a bunch about investing in real estate. Valuable knowledge, I think, from my non-real-estate-savvy-guy perspective.
A few positive points: - Keyspire isn't about speculation - they want you to make the safe investment where it's most likely to have a ROI - The workshop invites you to think more they about making money - To think about your underlying goals and motivations to invest in real estate
The negative thing about it: I could've learned much more, if a significant part of the workshop wouldn't have been about selling me a $25,000 to $35,000+tx membership to Keyspire. I won't get into what the membership includes or if it's good or not; I don't know, it might be great, for all I know. But I feel betrayed:
- Betrayed that so much time of the workshop was about selling this membership. The personal coaching sessions were mostly about telling me how slowly and potentially badly it would go for me to invest without the membership. The coach presented the situation as a false dilema: either you invest using the membership as a tool to successed, or you do it alone with the risks it implies. Guess what? There are other coaches and network of investors out there; but I don't think Keyspire wants you to think about that. - Betrayed that Keyspire doesn't want me to be autonomous, and teaches accordingly: they want you to depend on their network and coaching, only accessible through their expensive membership. - Betrayed that so much time of the workshop was about "success stories": 7 or 8 pairs of keyspire members came on stage to tell how great it has been since they became members, and what kind of deals they made. Inspiring, really. But while a story or two would've been a good way to motivate people to invest, so many stories felt like a big loss of time that could've been used to teach us actual investment strategies. - Betrayed that during the exercices in the workshop, a vicious marketing strategy was used: describing a real estate situation, asking students if we can make this situation a "deal" or not, and collecting A LOT of answers from the public. Everyone was wrong, of course, we're beginners looking to learn. So much valuable time was spent on showing the room how ignorant they are, emphasising the feeling that individuals need the Keyspire membership to go on. - Betrayed that it was not mention in the preview event that this membership even exists, and that it would be sold to us during the workshop.
To summarize: I think I learned many useful things during the workshop, but could've leanred more. And maybe the Keyspire membership is a great way to start your real estate investment career, or maybe it's completely bad; but what I know for sure is that it's sold in various vicious ways, and that's unacceptable to me.
My husband and I just attended your event on April 11th, in Surrey. Scott is a really great speaker! He is easy to follow and understand and gave us a lot of valuable information on the hows of real estate investment. Hearing his own personal story I found very useful as well, as it helped me to understand that I too can get from where I am now, to a better place to be in regards real estate investing.
Scott is a very engaging speaker and obviously has a lot of experience so these 2 hr workshops have a degree of credibility and are worth attending for an initial taste. I was pleased that despite his role as the pitch man, he still shared enough useful information that I felt I could benefit from.
Important to be aware that the 3 day workshops are lead by others, if you're hoping to get more of Scott's time, you won't get it there. If the other employees are of similar caliber I'll be impressed. Will try to post another update if I follow through on attending further events.
My sister and I attended and were very pleased with the information shared by Scott and associates. We hope to be property investors in the very near future and were excited about the prospects. We will definitely be looking to take the Cash Flow Workshop in January!
We attended the February 8, 2015 Wealth Tour seminar. Scott was great! He is a great speaker, keeps his audience engaged and very knowledgeable. Scott has inspired us to follow through on our plans. We loved the seminar and look forward to attending a future workshop. It was definitely worth the drive in not the best weather conditions to attend this event. Would do it all again! I attended the March 8 event in Kitchener. I've been to real estate seminars like this before and this one was better because it was about Ontario/Canadian real estate and Scott gave concrete examples of how he actually does it. Not the same old smoke and mirrors about flip to get rich. No hard sell, and the three day workshop looks great too.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the seminar I attended in Alliston the morning of July 20th. Scott is not only extremely knowledgeable, but very engaging and easy to listen to. He certainly has a gift for dealing with people. I am SO looking forward to the upcoming workshops!

I would like to share my experience at a workshop I attended in Ottawa Sept. 20 2014. The workshop was a Real Estate session by ( LWA ). Lifetime Wealth Academy One nice surprise was the host was actually Scott McGillivary from Income Property. I thought Scott delivered a informative workshop by mixing some humor and lots of real life, real estate examples. One of the many useful bits of information I appreciated was, the big picture as far as real estate is concerned, from the cycles of real estate to the state of the US markets. I like the blueprint Scott laid out for success, and the fact the system is duplicatable. I can relate to Scotts start in real estate because I have children in that very same stage in life. I like the fact that Scott broke down the road bumps you may encounter and how to overcome them. This is much better option verses insanity ( doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result ) _Just _Over _Broke ( Job). Over all I thought the workshop was very well put together and full of useful real estate information.
I thought the information was excellent, and well worth my time at the Convention Centre, in Mississauga. I am more convinced than ever that 'investing in property' is the right way to go - and I fully intend to do so. This gave me the boost to take the three day course, and the start of great journey moving forward. Scott's speech keyed in some things that I have felt all along, and I realize that the only thing stopping me from going forward - is in fact me. That stops today... Thank you Scott!

Scott was entertaining, crowd pleasing and most importantly a wealth of information. For the first time investor, you could learn a lot. For the experienced investor, I feel you could learn many things as well, that you could implement into your business.
I attended the seminar in Toronto. As a fan of the show hosted by Scott, I wasn't sure how much more I could learn by attending this seminar. However, I learned a lot and learned that I have a lot to learn!! I have needed a certain level of support and information, and I am glad this workshop will be tailored to the Canadian market. I have attended the Wealth Tour presentation in Halifax. Scott is very entertaining presenter and some of the material was really interesting. But the whole thing was basically setup as an infomercial for the workshop which costs quite a bit.
Half of the presentation was about trying to get people interested in real estate investment rather than actually giving useful information.
As a new "Landlord" and starting real estate - my husband has also started a business helping real estate agents and landlords...I heard about the presentation and immediately signed up. As a fan of the income property show and being interested in getting into the real estate income properties...How could I not go!!! Scott was an excellent speaker, down to earth, realistic and very motivational. So much so that I signed my husband and I up for the 3 day workshop in Barrie coming up in July! I can't wait to get started...this presentation has given me a whole new motivation...Thank you Scott!!! My kids will thank me in the future :)

I attended a Lifetime Wealth Academy seminar October 26th in Toronto. I went with a few like minded friends and we all left extremely inspired. We all went into the event thinking this might be an opportunity that would interest us but we left knowing it was something we all wanted to do. We immediately took Scott's advice and made ourselves goals and begun to plan how we were going to achieve those goals. I am very excited to learn more about real estate investing and plan to pursue my first property within the next 18 months. We will not end up "barking ducks"

I enjoyed the presentation that Scott put on, he is an excellent speaker and very experienced in his field. I was a little disappointed that the presentation was basically an advertisement for the school. I appreciated the little bit of info that was given but I did feel like it was two hours of Scott just talking, it never really felt like he got to the point of why I thought I was there, to learn how to create wealth in real estate. I would love to attend the school but do not have the money to pay a tuition for my husband and I to attend, as my husband is off of work right now due to a hernia. That is why we wanted to see the presentation, to learn to earn more income so that we didn't need to worry about his health. Anyway, overall I enjoyed the little bit of info I received but did expect more.

I attended Scott's seminar on November 2/2014 at the Marriott at River Cree and found myself, at the ripe age of 68, wishing that I had had this information years ago. I plan to pass this information on to my grown children and encourage them to create wealth over the long term through investing in Real Estate.
Scott is a great speaker and kept me engaged till the end. The information presented was valuable with different methods to achieve (multiple) home ownership and cash flow.
I look forward to attending future seminars and would recommend anyone who is interested in real estate investment to participate.
This has been an unique experience so far. As someone who has recently connected with Keyinspire (I've attended the world tour with Scott and the workshop with Matt and the success team) I had the chance to improve my learnings, connect with unique people, listening to inspiring experiences, but also had transparent and business oriented conversations.
The success team was very supportive. We need to take our 22 months old daughter with us for the 3 days workshop. At the first day, as soon as we arrived, we were still feeling unsecured if having her with us would be something appreciated by the organization. All of sudden someone named Bobby approached us, gave to our daughter a big smile, gave her a hug, and put her sat at his seat in the staff area. "you guys are good, leave her with me, and you guys take the best you can from the workshop Bobby said"! Margo and Joe also were so inspiring and supportive to us during these days and together with Bobby were influencers for us to decide to continue with keyinspire.
I went to see Scott speak at Nottawasaga Inn on Sunday July 20th. To be completely honest I went to see Scott to see if he was as cute in person as he is on T.V. I was not disappointed. I have always wanted to have a 'rental unit' to secure my financial future, but I never took any steps to look into how to get started. After I left this Lifetime Wealth academy I was pumped, I went home and set up appointments with my mortgage broker, booked an appointment with an Appraiser and am on my way to being pre approved to actually doing it. I have this seminar to thank for lighting the fire under me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sheila
I had attended my 4th seminar hosted by Scott McGillvray. Yes, I heard those early UofG story enough times that I can almost recite it myself. But, each and every time, he also provided fresh new information that made it worth while to attend his seminar and to stay focused. Scott's positive energy is so captivating that it motivates me to stay the course of investing in income properties. Like he says, "this is a slow way to get rich". At times, it does test one's patience. Attending his seminar is one of my ways to stay positive and excited about investing in income properties.
thanks for a run of the mill 3 day seminar with a speaker who goes off on tangants about real estate investment topics with no concrete advice or teachings. Yet when it comes to him selling the audience a 35,000$ 'lifetime' membership scam he is so eloquent and completes all of his points. Anyone can learn how to flip or make money off of income properties from YouTube or Scott McGillivray's show on HGTV. Don't let these supreme sellers sell you on their membership!!!!! SCAM
I recently attended the Mississauga workshop 3 day seminar. I came in on Friday morning with no support, embedded with questions of whether this is a scam, a pyramid scheme, and waste of time and instructions to get the refund . After the first day I was so inspired and curious to learn more that I vetoed the instruction to get the refund and continue the next day and see if the right decision was made. At this point, something strange happened...the information was well presented and made sense so I started to feel better and confident to continue. Day 3 I woke up before my wife (something rare) with this new energy, I wrote my promise contract to myself as was requested and came to the last meeting with enthusiasm.
I have strong spiritual beliefs and know that each of us is here for a purpose. We are all here to learn and grow and become better people, through continuous interaction with other like-minded people and to help those who are still in the dark to see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Today, I had a major conversation with my consumer-minded wife. I explained to her the concept that consumers buy and go into debt, investors go into debt to gain assets and grow by leverage of properties....that is the difference....I think she now a slow convert. She even complimented me that the way I have presented the information to her makes sense and she thinks I could work for Keyspire to encourage more people to leave their old beliefs which are designed to keep them enslaved in this system and to rise above it all and become a better person in a position to help others live better lives...part of that is Karma and living a good life full of love and caring for others by first fixing yourself so you are in a position to make this happen. It will all come back to you tenfold in the end...
So there has been some life changing thoughts that have taken place for me in the last 3 days and now I want to take it to the next level and get started on this journey. I want to claim my time back instead of giving it away for a salary, so I can take that time available t improve my life, my family and the people that come in my path...and live the way I choose...
