The folks in the service department were so great....
The folks in the service department were so great. Helpful, informative, and professional. I can't say the same for the gentleman working in fleet. He was pretty vocal about how much of an inconvenience I was that he had to drive me and my child to the city center. Look, I get it, I have worked in customer service and with the public in general for years; I know how much of a drag it can be some days. So when he dropped us off I tipped him more than I would an Uber driver using their own vehicle for the trouble. I guess I had hoped that it would have made the drive back less painful for everyone involved. Yet, when he came to pick me up again, he made a snide comment about my 6 year old son's haircut and said absolutely nothing else until the end of the ride which... why was that at all necessary? It was just such a bizarre experience; I kept wondering if his day was so bad he had to take it out on a stranger like that, or if he is underpaid and overworked? If you all need someone to help lighten his load, let me know! I enjoy that kind of work.
