Vwey clean and comfortable rooms. The conference accommodations easily housed a group if nearly 1000! The meal service was fast and the staff were helpful and kind. The food selection is the only thing keeping me from making a five star review. Meal options were limited. Two food offerings each meal, while they were good, they were not outstanding...having a cookie with dinner or a Danish for breakfast would have been nice. While you can buy delicious deserts at the shops in the loby, prices there are HIGH.

Everything was great, we even got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite

Nice place for families with kids. Adults there isn't enough to do to keep busy. It snowed while we were there and by noon there was still snow all over the parking lot. In the middle of Wisconsin I'd think this would be handled a little better as everyone had to haul luggage and bags threw the snow to their cars. For a family with young teens to kids above 6 this should be a most go as everything is onsite. Groups of couples should look elsewhere for a weekend getaway.

1st time going there and would recommend it to anyone! Great experience for a family or just a vacation away from work.

Indoor Water park is so big with so much to do...A Must do! The eatery inside the water park is outrageously priced, can eat before you go or plan on breaking for lunch as the good was awful.
3 stars because we didn't stay at the resort so I can not speak for anything but the swim area and the eatery

Staff was very friendly and made my family and I feel as if our stay was important to them. Had a lot of fun while we were there and would love to return for a longer stay in the future.

Amazing the theme park is awesome. The water park is also awesome too.

Wonderful place for family!
We stayed for two days with my wife and my two little daughters for two days, and I will say this place was amazing.
My two year old did not want to leave indoor water park.
She had a lot of fun.
Staff were very friendly, and our room was clean.

We will definitely come back often for mini vocation or get away.

Huge Indoor Water Park and Arcade. Clean public areas. Pricy food. Many choices. Lots and lots for the kids to do.

Its a really nice place. Quiet big actually with a movie theatre right beside it. You really can't ask for much more

Had a really great time! The water park has a lot to do for all ages. The indoor theme park is also fun. I was kinda disappointed that the wristbands for water park and indoor theme park were sperate prices though!

It was really fun don't get me wrong but it's very limited for a water park but other than that it was awesome.

I like this resort, but it has limited stuff for more adults and seniors that want to have a good time. It also is limited in stuff in general

Had an amazing time at Kalahari. Great indoor and outdoor pools. We had so much fun. The restaurants served delicious food. I really enjoyed the indoor amusement park.

Good place to get away from work and have some rest with your family. They have water park, bowling, Starbucks, adventures park, shops, many restaurants, cafes and more.

I took my 8 year old son here a few weeks ago and we had a blast. We played laser tag a bunch of times too. The lazy river was great because you could get off during and go down slides.

Making reservation was easy, got a great room location, everything worked in the room.

Room was very expensive, food at resort was expensive and wasn't very good. They were very short staffed (that is their words) and had parts of the water park running slowly and majority of lazy river closed. Also got scolded a few times for random things.

Brought a 3 year old here, probably not the best place, only allowed on 2 bigger slides, besides the children's section. Wilderness would have been a better choice for that age.

Main reason to go here is to ride the water slides

We stayed at The Sands at the Kalahari Resorts at the Dells. We were so impressed when we walked into the lobby of Kalahari. Staff was great and the water parks were so much fun. We rented Cabanas for two days and it was so nice to have especially with children. Then we walked into our rooms at the Sands and were not impressed with them. It was the Village Suites; three rooms connected. It was not what you see on the Website. It needed to be updated with new screening on the patio door and the dining windows were fogged up, uncomfortable king size bed which sagged in the middle but the worst were the carpets. Our feet were black from them and our baby that crawled had black knees and hands; so very unhealthy. The carpet probably has never been cleaned. I would make sure that everything was clean before I would go there again; especially with Children.

I love this place..they even have a pool for toddlers.I look forward to my next visit..

Attended for a tech conference. Third time here. Facilities are clean and staff are nice. Catered food is very good. Am always happy to visit.

We ate in the lobby of the kalihari and we also attended an event there, and both were very good. The event was easy to find, and the food was very good. Our waiter was nice, the other staff was nice, and the theming was very well done. I also really enjoyed the arcade and bowling alley, and the whole experience was great!

This place is very clean!Also it's so much to do! Most of their staff are very nice and friendly.We will be back next summer to visit Kalahari!

My husband and I stayed over the weekend of memorial. We had an amazing time. We would suggest going here.

First time here, first time in the Dell's absolutely loved our stay. The indoor waterpark was perfect along with the sweets shop in the lobby, unique finds and amazing trip.

5 stars is not enough. I have been there several times and I find something new to love every visit.

Stayed in one of the houses. And it was great. Only disappointed that the pool with the basketball hoops shreds your feet.

Water park is huge. Convention center of convenient. Good destination.

Best venue in the Dells for a wedding reception or any other function

Great place to stay, the water park is a blast and everything seemed to be in good shape. The rooms could use a little updating but are plenty spacious enough.

This is great place for families! Indoor and outdoor water parks are part of the hotel and kept the kids busy for two whole days! The food is all really good and the dinner buffet was wonderful. We're told that everything is made onsite. The food and shopping is all quite pricey so plan on spending extra money. We thought it was all worth it! Great family vacation!

The rides are great! The outside waterpark is really fun and the outside lazy river is far nicer than inside. The inside waterpark does not have enough tubes (required for river and a few slides) and closes half of the river during the week.

I have come here every year since I was 18. The kalahari blows away any other indoor/outdoor water parks I have been to. There is an indoor amusement park with lots of games and rides including a ferris wheel. They have bowling, mini golf, laser tag, and go karts. All on top of the water park. The facilities are very clean and all the staff is very friendly. Great for all ages!

Been coming here for 6 years and love this place so much and very happy with the addition they are building out but I think they need to start investing in remodeling on inside.

Room was ready well before normal check in time and was orderly. All staff is more than willing to assit.

My family really enjoyed this resort, the rooms were very clean and it was always something to do for the 3 days we all were there. Planning another one for next year.

Freindly helpful front desk staff. Clean room, well maintained waterpark. They have fantastic waterslides. Good for all ages children (and adults) Tons of activities on site.

A wonderful place to visit with the kids. Indoor and outdoor water parks were a blast! Hotel room was comfortable and clean. Recommeded!

Overall nice hotel and the water park is great. I was however disappointed with how we were treated as guests in the waterfront cabins (which are part of Kalahari but about 3 miles from the main campus). When I made the reservation I specifically asked if there was a shuttle to bring us back and forth to the main hotel and I was told yes. I was told it was 24/7 and it was complimentary. Upon check in they told me it was actually $13 each way and we had to call to request it. Both times we tried I was told it was in Madison and wouldn't be able to come for over an hour. Why is your shuttle in Madison?

Great fun. Kids had a blast. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Hotel was nice and clean. Lobby area is chaotic most of the day, looks busy but things move pretty quickly. My older children (23&17) enjoyed the slides.

Great water park, lines are relatively short. Drinks are expensive but that's to be expected.

We went to the one in Sandusky, OH. This might have been a better experience if one person who worked there actually acted like they cared about their job. Customer service was horrible, the lifeguards looked like half of them were not even paying attention, and everyone that we talked to that worked there was very short and had a bad attitude. They are extremely expensive and you would think that would reflect in there customer service. Probably won't be going back

It was very fun I did go to the theme park and the water park I did wish there was more water slides though

The best water park ever
This water park is so fun! My family would play in it all day!! Our favorite slide it the blue one and we live the wave pool and the outdoor hot tubs! We also love the arcade! I love the Kalahari!!!!

not very family friendly staff on checkin counter .staff at activites side was very friendly to kids. flowrider is really good for kids....expensive affair post closure of outside season..HH was ok..food choices weren't attractive....indoor theme park was good...rooms were ok and clean .

Toooo much walking for me otherwise great if u got healthy legs.

Rooms are fantastic. Beds are comfortable and room service/cleaning is top notch. Plenty of room and plenty of activities for the family, kids, or just yourself.

We just checked in and not looking good. The refrigerator had used drinking bottles. Reason? Housekeeping forgot to clean it! Are we safe? My family is sitting, watching and breathing in fumes from cleaning product from our kind housekeeper desperately trying to clean it.

So so. Feels a little old like a water park you would have visited in the early nineties. Staff is friendly.
Not sure if I would travel 3 hours one way again. I probably would find another water park closer to home (Chicago).

Had an excellent time. The room, the facilities, and amenities were all great. Totally friendly and efficient staff.

So many cool water slide and a lots of African culture

We took our entire family to Kalahari Dec. 26-18, 2016. Had an excellent time, and no hassles whatsoever. We were a family of 7 adults and 7 children (all under the age of 7!) I chose the Village Suite in the Sands Building. We had three interconnecting large rooms, with a kitchen, dining room, and living room in the center....

The prices for what's available at the Kalahari are a little extreme for my taste, but coming here is always enjoyable nonetheless.

I wouldnt travel here anymore due to there bed bug problem

Loved the indoor and outdoor waterparks. Other activities for kids and adults, so plenty to do! Room was spacious with a nice, deep bathtub. Beds were hard and somewhat uncomfortable. Lots of dining options on site, but the food and service were very hit or miss (and expensive).

Attended an event at the convention center. Signs were plentiful making navigation easy, and the facility seemed well maintained.

Me and my boyfriend spent two days here over his birthday!!! We couldn't get over how beautiful the lobby was! The staff was excellent! The water park was very clean! The rooms were also clean and had a great view of the outdoor water park! Kalahari resort had so much to offer we hardly got a glimps of Wisconsin Dells! I can't wait to stay again! Next time we will definitely be staying longer than two days! Worth every penny!

i want to go there for my b-day, how much would the overall cost be for 5 people, (One adult, Four teens) Three day overnight. And in the indoor waterpark?

Convenient location, great water park, rooms are very clean and well appointed,staff is friendly and accommodating.

It was fun not too crowded on a weekday evening plenty for my 2 year old to do!

This is always the most accommodating hotel, I go every year for my birthday. The water park is a blast, and during the winter the prices are pretty reasonable during the week. Worth the trip!

Helpful staff and a great experience overall. We have returned to Kalahari for my birthday for over 12 years and have loved it every year!

A really nice resort. The outdoor pool at the water park is really nice to sit in.

Lots of fun slides and activities. They also had some activities for kids in the afternoons that were free

The beds were horribly uncomfortable. Rooms were noisy. Even when I walked around my own room there were spots on the floor that made such a loud bang that I'm sure the guests below me thought I was a herd of elephants having a dance party. But the amenities are wonderful.

Really incredible experience so far! We're only two days in and the kids are having a blast. There's way too much to do so I don't think we're going to run out of fun. We spend most of the day at the water park and are just beginning to put some time in at Tom foolery. The underwater park has tons to do. The outdoor water park isn't open now because it's still too cold, but still plenty busy. Starbucks in the lobby is a really nice touch. Even though there's two conferences happening and it's overall pretty busy, everyone's super nice and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. This might be a regular spring break trip for us!

Wonderful place for the whole family. Even if we don't stay there, we stop to check out there gift shops.

It may a little pricy and bug infested, but this is an exciting resort for me. I come here for conferences. A big convention center and waterpark. Great stores and resturants to eat or shop in and comfy rooms or suites. Hope to come here soon.

Celebrated New Years Eve Here! Did the dinner buffet and party. The buffet was ok! The seafood and salad bar was slow to replenish. Had to wait for them to keep up. Otherwise, my husband was content with the entree selections and the desert bar was amazing! Fondue bar and kids buffet was great. My little guy was happy with it. The after party was a great event for families

It was pretty nice and relatively clean. Room was clean and spacious. Could have smelled more like a hotel. Waterpark was decent, but would definitely wait to go back while outside park is open.

Clean lobby and beautiful! Easy and pleasant check in. Room was in great shape although bathroom floor could have been swept better. Waterpark was very nice and clean. It was great to see gluten free desserts in the snack areas, we did not use restaurants due to our gluten allergies though.

We really like everything about the resort and its been that way for 10 years now that we have came here the reason for a four star review is the wristbands they for the past 10 years have not started using these types of wristbands they usually have the wristbands with a button and its like a laminated wristbands those never rip or discolor

It was the best resort in dells I stayed for 3 days with my family and never wanted to leave. The rooms were not cleaned while we were there but everything else was good

I recently attended a work related conference at Kalahari. The conference center was nicely large and well kept, but the food seemed to get less care.

What more could I say justvsum it up with one word - AMAZING!
LOVED both the game room& water park.
Spent a whole day there & had a blast.
Staff was friendly.
Everything clean.
Have older children , this is the place.
