Fantastic experience! Every associate we have come across has been so kind. Had zero issues. Kids had an absolute blast!

We've been visiting Kalahari for the past 10+ years. It's a little bit different every year which makes it great! The rooms we stay in (Lodge Suite) in the Sands got new furniture this year which was probably overdue. So, it looks like the current owners care about the resort. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do with the kids. Overall pretty good vacation spot. If you're a foodie like me, just put the blinders on for the trip.

Stayed in the King Jacuzzi suite, it was absolutely wonderful! Went in the middle of the week when the water park wasn't packed, so that was really nice too! I'm excited to go again when the outdoor park is open.

GREAT place had a ball we didn't want to leave we will go again soon it was worth the trip can't wait to go back anyone that has not gone there should

My family was excited to stay here as it was the only place in WI Dells we had not tried. We were very disappointed with our stay. We were expecting a 2 mile walk to the waterpark but were not expecting it to be so cold. We stayed in November and the skywalk were not heated at all. The waterpark itself was cold as well and the floors were slippery. The waterpark restaurant was closed so we had to walk outside the waterpark to the snack shop which was also freezing. Our room was nice but the housekeeper seemed to be in a bad mood. I only got one coffee pack and we ran out of toilet paper. I bought 2-$30 cards at Tom Foolery Adventure Park but was charged $120. After reading other reviews I doubt I will get a refund. The arcade took at a minimum 6 credits. For the price we paid for the rooms and the resort fees I was very disappointed. The only way I will ever stay here again is if I win a free trip. Save your money and excitement and go to the Wilderness.

Almost everything was great. My only complaint is this awful low flow shower head... I'm an adult. Give me some real water flow.

Really nice hotel in Wisconsin Dells. The water park is great for all year round guests. The only addition I can think of is more food options.

Lots of fun stuff to do in the water park. Had issues with some of the staff. Changing the rules for certain people. Not giving everyone fair turns. For no reason. Just took some fun away

More for little kids, but adults can have a good time too.

The accommodations were great. We stayed in a suite. It would be better if their new fitness center was open.

They are awesome... They have so many fun things to do for babys, toddler's, teens, and adults

We just got back & we loved our stay! I got an amazing pedicure by Maria, she was super sweet & knew what she was doing! The rooms were clean, the entire hotel was beautiful & the staff was super friendly.

My family has been here 3 times. The indoor water park is amazing. The out door water park is smaller but also nice. I really like the indoor amusement park too because you can only go down a water slide so many times.

Great, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Everything is kept very clean.

Service was nice but the employees were not very nice to the guests even though we payed good money.

My family of 3 came here for a good time at the resort and waterpark. My husband had a conference, so we came along for the waterpark. Waterpark was average... cramped wave pool, murky water... yeah. Thought we saw puke on some stairs. Checked into Room 2400. Found a wet washcloth in the room. Understandable.Then found old food in the microwave... strange. Upon further inspection of the master bedroom... panties. Absolutely. Unacceptable. And disgusting. I can't believe housekeeping couldn't find this! Did they even look for anything wrong with the room at all? ...Did they even come clean the room?! This is not a place I will stay at again. We worried about the cleanliness of the hotel. Next time... Great Wolf Lodge or Wilderness.

I only gave two stars because my 6 and 8 year boys enjoyed their time there. But being gauged at every corner can make your blood boil. Take a deep breath, ready? $10 to secure your personal belongings and yet they won't take responsibility for stolen belongings. If the management won't provide secure lockers then the onus is on them PERIOD. Staff was nice and didn't abuse their authority . I strongly suggest bringing everything you need including that can of mountain dew you were so sure you didn't need. Better yet, save your money and spend the same amount at Disney world for better service! Okay, I HAVE to add this too: having ice cream on display for my children to see and having to explain MULTIPLE times in many different ways that we cannot afford to have, is BEYOND FRUSTRATING.

We had a day pass for the indoor water park,it was great. The water was warm and the lines were short. Can't ask for much more than that.

I am here for a conference. Having been to the Sandusky Kalahari, I think I prefer that one. The conference center is pretty small and cramped in comparison. BUT my kids seem to like this one better because of the amusement park. ALSO it seems like they are building an expansion to the convention center for next year. The facilities are fine, although the mattress seems a little worn out in this room. Lots of food choices in and around the resort.

Tv didn't work in room called front desk told us maint. Would be down 30 minutes later had to call again and they said there was no call logged.... Other than that nice place with great staff members

We had a FABULOUS time. The kids loved the water park and indooe theme park!

Nice indoor water park, with many slides for adults and kids. Which is very convenient when outside is cold.
It has many shops and few cafes to eat. You can order pizza while playing inside in water park.
It may get very crowded so plan ahead to arrive early and enjoy non-crowed slide area.
Expect to spend some time in lines to big slides.
It's a great place to spend whole day with kids.

Amazing place. I have been to Both indoor theme park and indoor water parks. They are the best in the Dells area. Rooms are neat and clean.
Miniature Golf, wall climbing, Go Kart and bowling are a must in the indoor theme park.
Every ride and place in the water park is Amazing. Water and place is very well maintained for the crowd that comes in. Neat and clean water when compared to other water parks in the area. Changing stations and lockers are very convenient. There are rides for all the ages. Get lazy in the lazy river or get on nerves in the Master blaster . Beach and Tiko s waterpoint for babies. Couple of hot tubs are available for a relax.
Great dining options are available too. Inside the park and outside (near resort area) as well.

Last but not least, DO NOT miss the Chocolate knockout cake at the Starbucks cafe outside the water park.

Didn't stay just waked in to see what was ike for future visit. Its seemed nice.

Consistent quality and experience. Nothing phenomenal but also nothing terrible. Come for the conference or water park, otherwise I'd probably stay elsewhere.

Very fun place and at a good price, didnt like the tom foolery area but it was a nice experience anyway

Made for an amazing day with friends at the water park. Came during the winter and the only complaint I had was that I wished there was more rides to pick from.

Daughter had dance competition here. Parking in back of convention center was better than in front. Concessions were expensive. Room was comfortable.

Rooms are a little dated but clean. Staff throughout the resort were friendly. Kids had a blast at the water park.

Olivia the lifeguard is truly a life saver. She saved the day when she found my credit card and returned it to me. She was friendly and professional.

Huge shoutout to the guys over at the Kalahari, I regularly stay there or nearby to attend a Convention called Daisho Con. I bring a lot of friends yearly and antics do follow. I had a friend a tad bit too inibriated and he had thrown up in a corner of the convention centre. I was super worried about causing the staff so much trouble but the helped us clean up and did so very kindly and made sure not cause a scene. HUGE shoutout to their friendly and fantastic staff and to all the wonderful services and fun they offer! Thanks again!

Great restaurants, clean fun resort, comes with a good price but worth it

Definitely the place to go in summer. Smaller park but one wrist band gives you access to indoor and outdoor areas. The lines are shorter so you get more slide time. It's also nice in winter to beat the winter blues.

Stayed overnight and went to the indoor water park had an amazing time and would definitely go back. The roads are really nice the animals that had a front or kind of sad though. Oh yeah food was good.

Best place to spend the day having fun in or out of the sun.

Lots of fun activities in the resort and Tom Foolery's next door, but it is not all-inclusive. The virtual reality is an extra charge in both locations. There are wristband required for some activities and a game card required for others. The water slides are really fun and there are several to choose from.

Great place for family fun! Clean rooms, excellent water park, lots of rainy day fun too! Only negative would be very slow check in - be prepared for a long wait on busy days, half hour wait or longer last weekend. Overall great stay!

I've attended conferences/conventions in their convention center facility, and had plenty of weekend getaways with the family in the water/amusement park. I can't recommend this place more. Great staff, accommodations, fun. They've thought of everything.

We had a room on the 4th floor that had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. Everything was very nice! We went to the water park and enjoyed the outdoor hottub. We also did the amusement park. The XD movie experience was awesome! We ate at double-cut which was also awesome!

Amazing, with a african/bahama theam to it. I was here during the Chiropractic World Summit, so I had the best of business and fun. I would definitely recommend anyone to come hear, Waterpark is awesome btw

It was a very nice environment and the staff was very friendly.

Amazing atmosphere. Surprisingly Peaceful for such a big place. Staff is so accommodating and friendly. Would consider spending a night just to see more.

Only went for movie and dinner. All people encounter were awesome. Greeted with smile and like we were only guests there. We will return.

The inside water park was nice. Our room was clean.... Super pissed off that the inner tube lift was broken for some of the slides. How do you spend that much money on a trip and then tell your kid I'm sorry mommy can't lift that tube up 3 or 4 flights of stairs. I had to suck it up and put my back and neck at risk.... Now the trip will cost me a few chiropractor sessions and 2 massages to rid my body of unnecessary pain. I was completely shocked that none of the indoor amusement park activities were included in the price.

Not bad a little over priced and spread out way too much but still had a good time and got my steps in everyday!

This resort is very unique like walking into a tropical Africa the decor as well done and it's kept up and maintained well. Great place to take a break or have a convention. A little on the expensive side food can also be expensive. This resort has a lot of amenities and things are running well so I think it's worth the price

Very fun place, there's the water park, and then there are a lot of other activities to do in the resort itself as well as the surrounding areas.

The original Culver's is not too far and is really good. There's a bunch of other attractions around. Somehow we got free tickets to this water show (it was pretty bad, which is probably why they gave it to us for free, but the kids liked it. Not that bad honestly, just seemed like a high school play; inexperienced. Not horrible though)

There's activities and contests inside the resort depending on the time of day. There were free cookies daily that you decorate, hygenic enough (and tasty ). There was a coloring contest that both my kids won, and they gave little toys as prizes. Both of those were free and then there was also tye dye shirts, and other souvenirs you could purchase and then you would paint/color/etc and take them with you. Super friendly people too. The breakfast muffins/cupcakes were amazing! The waiters were friendly. The hotel gave us a couple freebies, some breakfast vouchers (you do have to pay for breakfast otherwise) and the water show, also they upgraded our room to a presidential suite, I'm not sure why. All in all, it was super fun, and something I'd do again and again.

Resort was good , wish there was more rides , but quite fun and many things to do . Well maintained . It's fun to go specially in winter's as it's fully interior's . Drinks and food we're good too . Lockers were available .

- I don't EVER do this normally; However, I'm pretty ticked about Wisconsin Dells currently! We didn't have a trip planned this year, but wanted to get the kids out and have some fun together in the water parks. With the weather upon us (AGAIN) in the next two days, and forced to be on the road in the middle of another Blizzard / icy conditions, I had called a manager to not just cancel our reservation, but inquire about them gaining a little MORE profit instead of NONE, and get us there a night earlier! Now, as someone that is business driven, why would you possibly think about loosing profit, & loosing a guest? Instead of "getting something" and having your guest arrive safe? I asked if we could get the rate that we currently are locked into, and was advised that it would be another $350.00+ just to toss our head on a pillow the night before the storm. The answer was NO! This to me is a HORRIBLE business practice! We are still going no matter what, but this practice I will stop at nothing less than to advertise the horrible guest services thus far!

Never a bad time here no matter if it is on or off season. Much more to do outside of the resort in summer but off season is great to shut yourself inside the resort. You wont have to leave once you are in it. Many food options for all foodie types. Beat the clock Tuesdays are fantastic. Only real bummer is that the karoo buffet is not open on weekdays.

We had a lot of fun, it's for all ages and the suite was clean and comfortable. If you plan on making purchases (regardless of what you buy) make sure you take some extra cash because it's expensive.
The food and drinks were good, no complaints there but the walk from the suite to the pools was long (I guess I needed the exercise) but overall I enjoyed myself and Yes I am most definitely going back!

Not a bad place! Spent the day in the indoor and outdoor water parks. Had a lot of fun!

Nice Stay. Waterpark is awesome, decorations of hotel very nice. Check in was a mess and I was guaranteed a room prior to 4..no notice given to me that the room was ready. Asked for ADA and at first they put me in another building? Had to fight to be put in the main lodge. Rooms were loud, no real sound barriers at all, sounds like a herd of elephants running everytime someone walks in the room above or in the hallway. The heater system was broken, or non existent. Constant 77 or 78 in the room, even when i turned it off it stayed on. Dont get me wrong i do love it here and it was a nice stay. I did love the spa, got a pedi and hair cut and that was very relaxing.

Amazing place. Indoor and outdoor water parks with thrilling rides in both! Parks were in good condition with fun for all ages. Suggest packaging water parks with Tom Foolery pass. You will have fun.

My 3 year old had a blast here, as did I. Went on a Saturday, so it was busy but the waits for waterslides wasn't the worst I've experienced. Overall worthwhile trip!

Very nice resort. I love the African theme. The waterslides were lots of fun especially the new one.

This is a great water park to play and have fun. This is a good place for an indoor water park. There are a lot of attractions here.

The park in general was nice but the staff needs an upgrade. I was never served at the bar up by the bowling alley after standing there for ten minutes. Many employees didn't speak English very well and were very hard to understand and $30 dollars for A drink was outrageous especially when the prices werent on the drink menu!

We had a blast and the room was huge and very clean. Staff was very friendly!!

This is definitely a resort for families with children, however they have a indoor pool bar for 21 plus where you can swim through curtains that extends outside it was 30 degrees out but we couldn t feel it with the warm water and alcohol fueling us, haha must say this was my favorite part of my experience. If you want your soul to leave your body temporarily and love adrenaline rushes try the Sahara winder slide. 60ft up high with a vertical drop.

Has a lot on location out side of the Waterpark such as a bowling ally, big arcade, and movie theater.

It was very clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful rooms.
