Appalling service no even worthy of 1 star. Emails are sent from only no reply services. Struggle to find an email address that works. Phones are automatically answered and then just music for 15 minutes until it cuts off. Emails sent are automatically replied to and that's the end of that as nothing is done. Do not invest here!!
Banked with investec for 22 years but recently changed as there standards have dropped imo
Would not recommend Investec to my worst enemy. Approved loan was closed without first confirming with the client, all because a third person told them to do so, where in the world do you find such unprofessionalism? Investec has caused more harm than anything else. Unreliable bank
Spoke to a call centre agent with a very simple query for 20 minutes. She could not find my accounts so she couldn't even begin to help me. I eventually had to send her the bank statements which Investec had sent me which she then had to get her superior to look at. Absolutely frustrating.

Staff are extremely helpful, they answer calls promptly. Their call centre staff are polite and available 24/7. I've never been with a bank and enjoyed it until I started banking with Investec. If you haven't, you should definitely sign up!
Sure - I've banked with Investec for more than two decades but lately ( last 4 months) there's been very slow responses to straightforward requests and my personal banker has apparently left the bank and no one bothered to let me know or offer a replacement. Emails have been consistently unanswered and the online banking contact numbers and email contacts are either undeliverable or come back as not in service.
