My son and I stayed here after a long day of driving. The room was very clean and quiet. The pool areas were fun as always with plenty of lifeguards so I never had to worry him if he rode a different slide than me. Staff is very friendly and helpful too.
This is a really fun place to stay. The rooms are spacious and have a mini fridge and microwave. The restaurants here have awesome food. And the entertainment arcades and waterpart are a blast! Definitely a fun family friendly resort.
I'm currently staying at Kalahari Resorts Dells, and it is the nicest resort I've ever been to.
Been there 3 times and absolutely loved it. Was quite fun spending some time with my family.
If you have small kids they will love it. There slushy drinks were amazing
We had a blast!! We have been going to the dells for years and this was our 4th visit to the Kalahari. It is our favorite place in the dells and we will be making this our summer place from now on as my kids are teens and love the waterpark.

I give it a 3 for charging for breakfast. After spending so much for the rooms they should offer free breakfast. They have a buffet but it's very expensive.

Stayed at the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells for 2 days and 1 night for a conference. The conference rooms were clean, and well organized. Catering was always on time and very good. Personal room had nothing to mention, very clean. All experiences with staff were professional and helpful.
Would have been a 5 star review, however encountered a total jobs worth in the water park.
My wife and I bought day entry tickets to the water park. Was a really lovely day up until we met what can only be described as a complete jobs worth wearing a green shrit, guessing this is a 'superviser'. He was a complete arse in our opinion. We had spent the last few hours going down the slides prefectly fine wearing our jewellery. This chap took it upon himself to tell us we could not ride the waterslide wearing jewlery. The jewellery in question, our wedding rings.
Come on dude! Grow up! I said to him we had been riding fine up until this point and his reaction, to the dismay of his staff, who by the way looked terrified at his presence, was 'oh well that's the rules'.
This experience put a sour taste in our mouthes from that point on and e left shortly after. Shame as it was a really nice day!
In short, sort out your supervisors, this guy was clearly on a power Trip.

So fun! Clean, beautiful, nice staff, wonderful family get away! My 3yr old was in love, cried when we left. So many awesome pool/slide options for kids of all ages and abilities. We can't wait for our next trip!!!!

As a recent transplants to Wisconsin from South Florida, my 12 yr old daughter and I had never been to the Kalahari Resort and weren't exactly sure what to expect (room-wise, activities, etc.) Always ready to assist, answer questions, share ideas of activities (both in and out of the resort), etc. I have to say, "BRAVO" to the staff and, what seems to be, a resort-wide dedication to maintaining high levels and understanding of excellent customer service!
Bring extra bandaids and extra swimming attire. Though the attractions are fun, each of us left with an injury and I ripped my suit on a slide.
The rooms are large and have great views and amenities. The water park is well maintained and a great use of time.
Great place to go and relax with the family. We loved the indoor and outdoor slides and pools. We went bowling played arcades and even saw a movie all on the same spot. The Sand suite was great, plenty of room. We will be back next year.
The location is very convenient. The staff is very friendly. It seems like there is something for everyone here.
The rooms are great. So many things to do, and with its placement, lots of things to do outside of the resort
Had a couple issues with my room that maintenance promptly fixed. Also had complications adding another night to my stay. The water park was a blast but drinks are pretty pricey
I enjoy everything about the kalahari. Was here 12ish years ago as a kid, and now I'm coming back as an adult. Service was great, front desk lady was a little snippy, but I can look past one crappy employee. The water park is clean. The room was great, fully stocked, ready for people. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars, the housekeeping ladies don't realize that "Do not disturb" means don't disturb. They took it as "Knock and see if they would like to be disturbed." That will be the only reason I won't give it five. So to anyone that gets up before 8-9 am, it'll be fine for you.

This is my second visit here and the experience has been consistently great. It's truly massive with a convention center, water park, movie theater and all sorts of other amenities. It's Wisconsin so clearly there's a very limited window to enjoy moderate weather but with so much to do you can spend a few days indoors and not think much of it.
We love going to kalahari with our kids for the water park and amusement park. Prices are high, especially over the new year, but there's so much to do with kids. Some rooms are really far from the parks, so be aware when booking. There is also a "resort fee".
Pool water was salty and there isn't as much to do in other locations such as Wilderness. Hotel rooms were nice other than that, though.
Kids love coming here. Usually come for a family gathering
I had a nice time at the Kalahari, but because I booked from a third party site, it took over two hours to check in. Even though I had showed management at the hotel my booking conformation, and called the third party agency, it took the two of them over two hours to get each other the information necessary to get me checked in. The Kalahri management blamed the third party agency, but also said it happened all the time, and they could do nothing at all about it. I had to sit in the lobby with a bored 4 year old. I just thought the whole situation was unprofessionally handled, and it will deter me from staying in the future.
The best place every evryone should come ro kalahari there is nice people and nice kids too but its a wonderful couple or family vacation
It is in a nice place and the resort is large. The rooms are clean and nice and the water park and theme park are very nice. Service is very nice also. I recommend staying here.
We attended a wedding at the Kalahari. They have many large rooms for just about any event you care to have. Huge inside and parking around most of the buildings. We did not use the rooms or water park areas, but where we were we could not here the noise from the park areas. Good service.
VR is very convincing. I was skeptical at first but its definitely worth doing.
The Kalahari was a great place for my family. I wish the water park was open part 9:00 PM though. We were not able to check in until 6:30 and by the time we got down to the water park the kids only had an 1 1/2 hours to swim.
I love the Kalahari so much. The rooms get pricey in the summer, but you can always find a good deal in the winter! They have the best arcade and a fun water park with so many different slides. The rooms are nice and comfortable too :)
I've been to the Kalahari several times and I'm impressed every time! The resort is very large always clean and the staff are always friendly.
My teenage son and his friend loved using their all day passes. I bought both the waterpark and games pass. Well worth the money.

I would not recommend. The reviews were great, but did not seem to be the same upon arrival. The employees were not helpful, some of them being very rude and even ignoring the guests. The resort was also unsanitary in some areas, namely in Tom Foolery. I will not be coming back, sadly.

Had a good time, pretty friendly, but the times for the water parks weren't as good as they used to be. Much shorter, and causes a lot of chauas. Others, and great vacation spot.
Super fun venue! Very large and lots of builsings, so if you're traveling with a group be sure to ask for rooms in the same buildings.
Nice resort but terrible house keeping. Room was never vacuumed, bathrooms not cleaned properly. A bag of garbage was left in the middle of the floor. Stayed in the sands which is supposed to be luxury condo.
More expensive, but you get what you pay for. Clean, fun for all ages, and slides for kids and those wanting a thrill. Favorite place in the dells when I can afford it.

Waterpark is great we had a lot of fun. That's why there is a star. Hotel service is brutal, keys don't work every hour and lobbies close early making you have to walk across the hotel to get a new key, some staff are nice and really helpful (especially housekeeping they're great) others are rude and can't help at all. Got stuck in an elevator but that happens, completely fed up with the terrible excuse for guest services.
A workout just to get to the slides, but worth it though!!
We have always had good experiences here and our kids look forward to it every year.
Visited indoor waterpark and indoor theme park. Water park was nice. Indoor theme park is very overpriced for what is included in the day pass.
We went to Tom Follerys: Awesome place! Lots to do even for littles. We had an absolute blast! Loads of arcade games, and family fun!!
they put way too much chlorine in the water a got large rashes on my face. just go to mt. olympus
The room had pieces of hair inside bed sheets and bathtub, really gross. And even the sheets had a small weird brown stain, didn t feel good at all sleeping there even when they did change the bed sheets. Going to Great Wolf Lodge next time!
It's super fun the waterslides are amazing the spa feels great and the hotel and cabins are great!
Kalahari is an awesome resort i recommend this one cause has a lot of thing to do there, the waterpark is an average size but it s amazing you have drinks and snacks there, the rooms are really clean and in a good condition so if you want to have a great time in family or a date you definitely have to go there.
My son got a tick from the life vests. Ruined our day and wasted our time/money. Not fun. Would like to try again sometime maybe.

Thinking about our stay this past weekend, I am very disappointed in the visit. While making reservations for our room, I had mentioned that we would have anywhere from 6-8 guests and that we were looking for a room that would allow our group to have fun and enjoy the weekend. I did let them know that this occasion was to celebrate my brother s wedding and they advised me to look into the Royal Presidential Suite. As recommended, we did end up going with that room and the customer service that we received was unfair and to be honest, very poor service. The room had everything we had hoped and we even got placed at the end of the hallway like I was hoping. The room provided a stereo system that was BUILT INTO THE UNIT so you would think that we would be able to use it obviously at a reasonable volume knowing others are staying in rooms around us. We did use it and were having a good time talking and joking around as the first Noise Complaint was called in. After receiving this noise complaint, we turned off the music but continued to talk and joke around. We then had another security guard come to the room because of a second noise complaint. This really put me over the edge because we did what was asked by turning off the music and quieting down quite a bit. What is very upsetting is that we are all grown men with more than half the group being close to their 30 s and were very polite the first time we were warned. After the second time, the security guard told us to move down to the main lobby to wait for our ride because he didn t want us bothering the neighbors. We paid quite the money to stay at the Kalahari in a room that we were hoping to have a good time in and were basically told WE NEEDED TO LEAVE OUR ROOM to keep OTHERS happy. What about keeping us happy? Overall I felt it was very disrespectful to basically kick us out of our room to keep one other group happy. This noise complaint came around 10:15 which was even a bigger joke considering your indoor water park is open until 10:00pm! I could understand if it was later in the night or even into the early morning but to ask a group of 8 guys at 10:00 to leave their room that they paid a nice chunk of change for is crazy and that is why I would never refer this resort to anyone else looking to enjoy themselves. At one point the guard told us we should ve booked at the condos across the street so we didn t have this problem but that obviously wasn t an option at 10:15pm on our second night with you guys. I ask that you please respond to the message letting me know how you feel about this situation and how it was handled.

I found a Groupon for Kalahari which made it affordable. Yeah because I had been wanting to go there. I thought the check in took a long time even though they had a lot of people working the counter. I was there in April so the outside park was closed but the indoor park was great except the lazy river was partially closed and when ever I ask the lifeguards they would say it s closed. My kids loved it I would go back. The room was large and clean.

We had a good experience not a memorable one. Basics entry and room charges are reasonable and good value but all the cool and new stuff is expensive and not included in usual packages. By cool & new stuff I mean pretty much most and all of the new rides and everything in the water park except for the basic pools.
We stayed at the African queen room it was pretty comfortable and modern.
Food is expensive bit if you drive out there are a lot of options.
Stayed in the luxury "kondos"/Nyumba and the WiFi was worth less, do not expect to have anywhere near a reliable connection, there was no network showing up half the time and the other half the WiFi would kick you off and you would have to sign in again later. Water park was good. The food on the property is grossly over priced. They wanted $8 for a single regular hotdog, $9 for a single patty and a bun or a slice of pizza. Really seems like they are preying on their guests.
Very fun for the whole family! You don't need to be a guest at the hotel to enjoy the resort which is very nice. A bit pricey but what you get included with your stay is worth it

The accommodation is great. We're staying at the water front, live three view. Easy access to the beach, just at the back of the bungalow housing. Free tommy bartlet show and timbavati zoo for four, what a deal! My family enjoyed the water park.
I loveeeee the Kalahari! I've been three or four times and I've never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean and vibrant, the waterparks (yes plural, both indoor and outdoor) are wet and tons of fun, and the indoor theme park hosts excitement for all age levels. This resort is good for people of all ages from ripping down waterslides to relaxing in the hot tub or by the pool it has everything! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is something to be admired, not to mention theres so many good places to get food and snacks right inside the hotel as well. :D
We absolutely loved our vacation over Christmas Break. We used the Groupon Deal and it was worth every penny! My swinsuit was mistakenly thrown away by house keeping and a very nice lady name Sue provided me with a replacement from her shop in the lobby. Totally blew my mind because the suit was $70! I will definitely return for another visit. #kalahariresort #wisconsindells
This place is great! There is something for everyone. Our room comfortably sleeps 5 with room to spare. Very fun and affordable family vacation. We will definitely choose Kalahari again.
Loved the place. Loved the stuff to do. Only reason I m rating a 3 is because while we where swimming me an my friend were on the lazy river an we noticed a guy touching him self while following us. We ran to our boyfriends an then went an told the a life guard who told us to go tell his supervisor. Talked to the supervisor an they just said he d let them know to watch for strange things happening. An that was it. We ended up leaving the swimming area as we didn t feel safe.
Our room was fantastic it was really close to the elevator right in the middle of all the action in between the water park and the amusement area will definitely be going back
