I attended a company event in one of their ballrooms, but I may just have to come back for a weekend getaway with my husband! The views are fantastic; the location is quiet and serene; and the hotel itself is gorgeous! I'm glad they finished their construction on the parking lot. There's finally enough parking for everyone!
First time guest. Wonderful experience for our 22 year wedding anniversary. Resort and Spa...bravo.

I've been coming here for years, but this is my first visit during covid. All staff are wearing masks and plenty of hand sanitizing stations throughout the property. Your only concern should be other guest. The lazy river and slides are all open. They are only limiting you from bringing coolers into the pool area. I really love the Cibolo Moon buffet for brunch and that was seriously handicapped due to the precautions they are taking for covid and limiting what people touch. I appreciate the safety, but miss the convenience and mass quantities of all the different foods they would set out. Otherwise, good trip per usual.

JW Marriott was wuch a great experience. The environment was beautiful, there were lots of people to help you around if needed, and it was all around easy to get around.
The staff was very cheerful and helpful , very clear restrooms , the food was delicious. Had a good time , will be back for sure

Stayed here over the course of a business conference. Rooms are roomy and nice but after a short stroll to check out the amenities, you won't want to stay in your room. Property is beautiful with lots of places to settle in and relax. Good coffee and good food are all around. The conference space was also excellent. Only downside was the price...a little high if the company wasn't paying.
We, the family, have spent several long weekends here (Memorial Days & Labor Days). We believe this is the best resort in Texas for a young family. The pool and water slides are excellent and the activities for children are endless. If you can swing it, the cabana s can be worth it.
Amazing hotel,awesome service, great staff, arcade and water park is the best, just no complementary breakfast as most hotels we ever been to. But over all good experiences.
Staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean with plenty of towels. Food was very good.

Great place to have fun, from the huge waterpark to the Latanya Spa that has everything to relax including an adult pool, to the restaurants and bars.
Cibolo Moon for Valentine's Day was very nice. Reservations only made it much less chaotic both for us and the restaurant staff. The grounds are also nice to walk off any meal before leaving.
Was here for a convention, but really loved the hotel and resort. Very well designed, maintained, and tons of activities. Golf, swim, lazy river, slides, spa and convention center.
I got to admit, iI was blown away by this resort. I spent most of my time in the water resort. They had a very good lazy river with very clean water. It was a great place to just relax. After the lazy river, I ran up to the water slides. My favorite water slide was the one where you stand inside of a tube then it drops you onto a slide. It was very scary but super exciting. The food at the j W was great. They had some awesone liquor and a wide selection of gourmet food. The rooms were average but clean.
I would recommend this place for anyone who just wants to relax and hang out.
Conference center is amazing. Food and ambiance was top notch. Staff members were like ninjas...you never saw them but they were working very diligently to keep all drinks refilled and plates cleared.
Beautiful resort, friendly staff, soft comfortable beds, great view from personal balcony, water park was clean and fun with plenty of lounge chairs in the sun or shade for your choosing. Great place for a weekend getaway or event. Different places close by to eat and shop. I will most definitely be coming back soon.
It was amazing and so relaxing, the pool and slides and lazy river were soooo fun.And I encourage you to go to cialo moon and the waitress Billy is amazing and so nice so be sure to request him.Other than that I had an amazing time
The rooms and the resort were very good and some of the staff were excellent, however two of the planned activities never occurred. One of the garden tours was in the morning and although the staff had said they would show up when the tour guide was not available no one ever showed up. Also the s'mores never happened on two nights. There smores was not such a big deal but the tour ended up wasting time we could have been doing another activity.
Fantastic place and views and the rooms were unbelievable, so much fir kids and families to do. Restaurants downstairs are very good but pricey (to be expected). Loved it here

Upon arrival, the table was dirty. Also, initial beer order was incorrect. Once these were resolved, had a great time.
It was a beautiful location. We stayed in a suite on the 6th floor that had an amazing view of the hill country. Service was impeccable and food at every restaurant was delicious.

The resort is paradise. The surrounding countryside is captivating. The staff is attentive to all guest needs.
My dad works there so I hear from him how everything is kept up to date and fixed as soon as possible and all the celebrities or important people stay there. The entire place is absolutely beautiful though the plant life so green and taken care of and the rooms themselves are great the entire place is a high class resort for a reason.

So someone decided to use my information and card number to book a hotel room. Marriott did not want to be responsible for refunding me for a fraud. So unbelievably disgusting. With a hotel like this that charges way too much money for one night, they shouldn t have an issue refunding a charge that was fraud in the first place
Beautiful resort! Staff was knowledgeable and very kind. Water park was amazing
It was excellent as expected. The only negative was the lack of response to at least 3 separate calls requesting more towels and an extra blanket. We were told the items would be sent up and on each of these separate calls/requests, nobody came. We ended up walking down to the front desk to get them ourselves. Otherwise, we had a very nice time. Kudos to Tristan, Richard H, and Isabel P. They were excellent members of the service team.

The resort is very nice and the food is great.
Make sure you review your bill on the departure day. I was billed $45.00 for a restaurant I never set foot in, I don't even know where it's located at the resort. Valet parking is $35.00 for over night, pretty steep if you ask me. .
Location is perfect. Close commute to shopping, dining, and tourist attractions. The views are spectacular from every area. Just gorgeous! We attended a conference there and the meeting rooms were good, again all with great views. Service was great and food was excellent. I will definitely go back for a stay-cation, to check out the resort pool and water park.

It was amazing. We went during pandemic and employees were all wearing masks. Many times I saw them disinfecting. The servers bring you service to your poolside chairs if you request it. Given the new restrictions, they have adjusted extremely well!!!
Wonderful amenities and excellent food. The service is impeccable and it's a great space for work functions and conferences. I highly recommend you take a walk around the grounds while you're here and enjoy the patios.
BEAUTIFUL HOTEL IN A GREAT LOCATION ....However, staff not very reliable.we had 1 chair on our balcony with 2 cushions. We called to ask for the 2nd chair they said sure , send it right up.....NEVER RECEIVED the chair ....all weekend! Desk manager "Christopher" I think was his name that said he would make certain we got the chair .....not even a call back about the chair. Not a word...I was celebrating my 1 year anniversary since chemo and my bff's bday....so we just let it Go!

Excellent resort, friendly-helpful staff, the food is awesome. Gave a 4 due to I was placed in a renovated room where the paint fumes were really strong...room was by a hallway where painting was going on and the smell was stronger. I had to use my own perfume to try to not get dizzy from the strong paint room. Front desk/housekeeping tried but should of moved me instead. Other than that the resort is fine.
My wife and I had dinner at Cibolo Moon and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and our waiter Giovanni was great. Giovanni was great from start to finish. He recommended great drinks and food and was very personable throughout the evening. He was on top of making sure we had everything we needed all the time without seeming overbearing. We go every year for our anniversary and this may have been the best service we have received.
Very elegant great atmosphere great view of the hill country. All staff were very professional, patient, and caring for your every need. We can't wait to book again.
