Haven't stayed here overnight but all the bars and restaurants are great. The sports bar has an awesome setup of TVs and has beer flights available. Cibolo moon has a jalapeno strawberry margarita that is a must try.

Awesome water park. Nice size lazy river and pool. Water slides are fun also. Food selection was limited so I can't give a good review on that. Mostly burgers and fries. They were just OK, but nice size portions though. It may be pricey, but you won't be hungry. Rooms are average size, but the TV is humongous. Looks like a 55 or 60". Rooms are clean,, but not very spacious. I probably will go there again. The resort seems catered more for kids because of the water park. I'm not a golfer, so I can't give a review on that. Hope this helps somebody looking to stay there.

This was my third stay at this resort. I have received excellent service and treatment each time. Although I was there for work related conferences, it would also be a lovely get away spot! Highly recommend!

Nothing major. Very nice hotel. Hotel was amazing (the conference rooms, lawn area, etc). Would rate a 5 since I really enjoyed the food, drinks and hotel itself. Overall, people were friendly but there were a couple instances when they tried to redirect people and it came off negatively so I'm giving them a 4.

I enjoy the atmosphere here. Great accommodations and a beautiful campus. Their party rooms are enormous! I haven't played their golf course yet, but I hope to one day get the chance to play it at least once. They have little veggie gardens out by the original JW house and it brings a nice touch with the farming roots of the property. The heated lazy river is also a very comfortable add to staying here in the off season when it gets a little chilly in San Antonio. Overall, I would say I give them an A+ and would definitely stay there in the future.

Came for a multi day business meeting. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was exceptionally tidy, and the entire facility was fantastic. The ballrooms and conference rooms were quite comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I went in May of 2018 and we had the best time ever! So many restaurants, Such lovely service, wonderful view. They had a small little water park with a slide, a lazy river, and a kids pool and adults pool. Our visit was amazing and we plan on returning soon.

Excellent service, really friendly and hospitible staff. The hotel is beautiful and has awesome resort amenities.

This is also the most comfortable bed I have sleptet in at a hotel.

This is specific to the High Velocity sports bar, but reflects on the Foot and Beverage staff overall. They are unable to effectively manage a wait list. If you ask to speak to the manager's supervisor, your name will be removed from the wait list and your group will be escorted out of the bar by security. This is the case even when you have not been drinking, do not raise your voice, do not use profanity, do not hurl threats, and speak privately with the manager where no other guests can overhear the conversation. Guest relations and conflict resolution training is lacking in this area of the resort. The Spa, on the other hand, is fabulous.

This place is amazing. I was a bit skeptical because of some of the reviews about how the staff was, but ignore them. Every single person we dealt with was very helpful and nice. The room was very clean and the food is awesome.

My only complaint is the room can get warm (woke up sweating a couple of times) because the air conditioning is motion activated so it got warm at night with nobody moving.

This place is fabulous.

This place is fabulous.

Gorgeous room, great food, the water park, the gulf courses, tennis, basketball, ping pong, pool, an arcade.

Then the spa, the restaurants, the views!

It has been a most wonderful experience.

My wife and I planned on staying here for a few nights and were hoping for a very nice, adult atmosphere to relax, with nice dining, and pools on site. At first, the place felt very similar to the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. The room was a standard room and had nice amenities, but nothing extraordinary. The bed was not comfortable and the fitted sheets did not stay on. Unfortunately, our room also had a very musty smell, like they had had some water damage recently. The pool was not for us, as we do not enjoy sharing a small pool with a hundred other people and their kids. There was no quiet pool to enjoy. The Cibolo Moon looked nice and had a buffet. Unfortunately, most of the foods were cold (not on purpose) and not high quality. We tried both the dinner and breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful. Since this place did not offer the atmosphere we were seeking, we cut our stay short and went elsewhere. In summary, not enough bang for your buck, pools would be great for kids, not adults, and eating offsite would be recommended. Two stars.

This was our second year staying here for a short summer vacay. The pools, slides, lazy river and atmosphere is fantastic for families. They have fun activities for kids and we take advantage of it. Only two issues: restaurants are VERY expensive. You are in the middle of nowhere too, so you are stuck paying those prices unless you want fastfood. Second, if you want to watch the Astros, you are forced to watch it in High Velocity. We held up a table for three hours the three nights we were there bc we didn't have any other options. I wish management would put the games on in the rooms or at least the Crooked Branch lounge so we aren't holding up tables. This hurts the waitstaff.

Really enjoyed our stay as a family. The water park was very relaxing. The room we stayed in was very nice and had a great view of the water park and golf course. I was disappointed with parking especially since we required handicap but there didn't seem to be very many. Still will give it a five stars for all the other amenities provided.

Great slides. Very nice hotel. Rooms aren't anything special for the price. Too crowded in summer. Onsite for options are good but you'll get bored if them in 2 days. I prefer Hyatt options on the west side.

Very dissatisfied with the hotel. We visited for 3 days and it rained the entire time. Due to the rain we went from the room to the car and still got charged a daily resort fee. There were no activities and no where to go. By the way, it was Holiday time.
