Wonderful place for fun for all ages! Top of the line service! Waterpark amenity is fabulous! Many other activities for kids to enjoy thru the day and evening! Accommodations and staff were all a 5 star!

I enjoy coming here for brunch, but it's defibitely a special occasion spot. They've got a great selection and bottomless mimosas. However, I don't appreciate that they raise prices on "holidays" such as mother's day simply to make an extra buck knowing they're already going to be busier than normal.

Stayed during memorial day weekend for a wedding, the check in processes was good considering the hotel was busy for the holiday weekend. However thats the only good thing I have to say...all of the rooms we requested were booked even though we called ahead to reconfirm, the pull out couch bed was covered in stains, so we requested a roll away bed which ended up being horribly uncomfortable. The service at the wedding was slow and underwhelming...only one bar tender at a fully stocked bar, stains on the carpets, no refills on drinks because they were too busy serving the tables. Very impersonal service and poor tasting food. The room ended up being $100 more then the rate that was quoted for the wedding party...
I could see how this would be targeted towards families but all of the little things added up to be a very expensive trip that was very disappointing.
If you are single or even a couple, I would suggest anything along the River Walk versus being in the hill country...unfortunately we had to stay here because of the wedding.

All inclusive family fun! Will definitely return next year! Our 6 and 4 year olds had a blast! Interior of hotel needs more attention (had an issue with a lot of mold in our shower curtain) and if they improved cleanliness, I would rate it 10 stars.

Went for a conference. Was there for 7 days. The pool area is large and has something for everybody. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. There are daily activities for every age group (mostly free). The spa is very relaxing and the staff were fantastic! Had a king room and it was large with plenty of space for my toddler to move around.

A huge conference facility with two TPC quality 18 hole gold courses. Amazing water park. Great staff and child facilities. Let down by remoteness from river walk but upheld. By being a Full resort. Interesting mix

While nice to the eye, we had many complaints during our trip. A coworker and I each stayed for a conference, and at nearly $350/night there are expectations of organization and a customer first mentality.

List of complaints:

1. Air Conditioning is tied to Inncom Energy Management System and is tied to a motion sensor, so when you go to sleep and don't move, the room get's hotter than 40 hells, not unique to any room, heard this complaint over and over with colleagues at conference.

2. In room refrigerator has 2 hour timer, meaning you put your beer in the fridge and voila it's hot in a couple of hours.

3. Golf course Manager is very rude, we had multiple tee times set for the afternoon. The resort hosted a morning tournament that ran over by a couple of hours. Tee times were delayed 45+ minutes and we were shotgun started, staff offered a discount from standard fee to twilight (so from $250/rd to $150/rd and the manager told the staff in front of customers,"Don't just offer up discounts like that." We were not able to play 18 due to the late start, and would have made it had we started on time.

4. At a higher end resort catering to those willing to spend a bit, you'd expect a decent wine list at the restaurants - not to be seen. There are about 20 bottles on the list with 90% of the reds being standard grocery store California Cabernets at standard 500% markup over the store. Very unimpressive.

While all of these complaints would be mere annoyances at a lower end resort, this is unacceptable at a place that will be taking nearly $1,000/day in room, food and entertainment.

We love this place! We did a 3 day Staycation with our kids ( 8 and 12). They love the pool, lazy river, and slides. Fun evening activities for the kids. Great breakfast buffet and we love the wings at the sports bar. I have also stayed here in December for their annual 5K, and half marathon evening Christmas run. Have had great service every time we've stayed.

Went to a friend's room for a few hours. Landscaping was neat and classy. The hotel itself is impressive and boasts beautiful views of the hill side. Room was nice and cleans and included a massive TV.

Beautiful and spotless resort. They go above and beyond to maintain every part of the resort immaculate. Their bar has great drinks and provides a relaxing atmosphere to spend time with friends. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Absolutely worth the price for a nice getaway for anyone.

We live in San Antonio and visited the hotel where our of town friends were staying. We all have kids so we spent all of our time at the water park and it was amazing. They had toys, towels, water stations, life jackets and a ton of different play areas to accommodate all ages. My 2.5 yo loved the beach area and I snuggled in the shade with my 4mo. It was perfect. The drinks were pricey, but the puns colada was on point. We're heading back tomorrow for another visit!

Top tier resort. Nothing but the finest. Friendly accomodating staff. Great food attractions as well as a great golf course and water park, all in the middle of the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Check-in was a goat rope. Came hours early but not offered a room till last minute. Couldn't even find all our reservations. Didn't get the room requested nor non-feather pillows as requested. A bit dissatisfied...

I will start by saying everyone that I encountered that worked at the hotel was incredibly friendly BUT I just don't think that justifies how much is charged per night on a busy weekend (nearly $400 per night when I was there).

I checked into my room which was decently clean but we found a cockroach in the bathroom. I understand it's Texas and bugs just find their way places, and when we mentioned it to the front desk, the girl asked if we wanted house keeping to clean it up or if we wanted another room. We said we had already killed the cockroach and didn't need to switch rooms. She then mentioned giving us a room upgrade, but it was clear on the other side of the resort and several floors up, a good trek with all of our belongings. We agreed on the upgrade and were extremely disappointed when we moved all our stuff to the opposite side of the resort only to find it was the exact same room type. Not only that, but the room next to us sounded like it had five children in it that were screaming and very loud all the way past 11pm and again at 7am.

Next, the pool area of this resort is beautiful and spacious. The two days we were there it was cooler in temperature, low 80s perhaps. It would have been the perfect day for the hot tub... only to find out the heat and jets had been turned off in them for some unknown reason. We thought to ourselves that it would be great to float the lazy river then and enjoy some drinks only to see that the cocktails were $17+ EACH which is absolutely ridiculous.

That night, we went to eat at the High Velocity restaurant. We ordered an 8-piece count of chicken tenders (coming in at $17.32), waited a long time for them to arrive, and they looked/tasted like Tyson chicken tenders out of the freezer. Definitely not "Off the Grill" like the menu claims. They weren't even warm. How is this acceptable for the prices they charge???

Finally, after attempting to take some leftovers back to our room since we paid a ridiculous amount for food, we discovered that there aren't any microwaves in the room. I'm sure this is to force guests to continue paying for their subpar, expensive food.

I'm very disappointed overall after paying so much to stay at a "resort." Save yourself the money and stay somewhere else.

Customers serve great for the most part, excluding the fact that when we made our reservations the person taking care of us put us down for a late check out at 4PM. And then when we checked in our time was canceled and we had to check out a lot earlier. This was disappointing because we were going to take the kids to the water park and then have time to get them cleaned up before they had to drive back to Houston. We also got lunch at the hotel and its was decent but my son's chicken alfredo did not come with any alfredo sauce and they used chicken thigh meat instead of white meat, kind of cheap if you ask me, plus kills the flavor profile, and my son could not eat it because of it. I tried it and agreed. Hotel rooms were nice and the balcony and bathroom were spacious but the beds were to stiff.

Professional staff and they are willing to work with you. I left an expensive tablet at the hotel when traveling back to Virginia. The employees working in lost & found; found my tablet and rushed it back to me in less than two days. I will make sure to inform everyone about the professionalism of the establishment. I would not hesitate to make reservations at this hotel! Thank you for a great stay!!
