Best resort ever!!! Have been to this place many times and nothing is wrong with it. I do not understand why some people rate this place poorly it is a great experience to stay here multiple times.

The lobby is elaborate, the gondola rides are fun, the music in the lobby is fun too.
The breakfast buffet has a variety and is delicious. The variety of birds/ducks is interesting.
I recommend this resort.

Long walks to the room, but otherwise, excellent stay.

Booked their holiday spa special and received a one hour Swedish massage with Darko, the massage therapist. That massage was the best I have ever had. I wish I would have booked him for a two hour appointment instead! Thank you Darko.

We're here yearly for the dance competition and every year is great. The staff, facilities, and overall vibe is great. Definitely recommend.

This is the best hotel ever. You feel like your in whole other world the minute you arrive. I want to let management know that We had called to buy a membership and spoke to Ester, she was so rude and awful to us that I m so surprised she is hired to do memberships?! Her tone and nasty attitude and laziness to help was so disappointing. Please get someone new in there!

The best. Golf, pool, food, fire pit on lake, boats, valet, bar, awesome place 5 star great service.

I have so many memories here from when I was kid, and teenager. The resort is a great place for all ages. Kids love the Pink Flamingos out front, the ducks, and Black Swans. For a fun filled evening, take a boat ride around the backside of resort near the pool and see the multimillion dollar homes where celebs live, and afterward get off at one of their many eating and drinking options. There s a Japanese steak house, a lounge, or grill and bar. As you can see the Marriott Desert Springs has options. Inside the huge lobby is a Starbucks, and there s boutique shopping as well. Don t forget to say hi to the parrots and other wild life flying around.

Perfect for a weekend family getaway. The hotel is very clean, and the bars and restaurants are excellent.

Stayed here for a work event. Great staff. Great food. Clean rooms that are nice and comfortable to stay in.

Perfect place for a game of golf and happy hour food and drinks.

It was one of the most amazing time we had at a resort. Everyone was exceptionally accommodating and were so sweet! The room was immaculate.
They also sent us a welcome gift as soon as we arrived.
When they found out it was my birthday and our anniversary and they made it a point to send us a bottle if champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. They definitely made our stay delightful!

I love it here! It s so nice. Bartenders in the outdoor area could ve been a bit friendlier. But other than that, great place.

Bed bugs !!!!

I arrived here today. The beautiful appearance was very good. But after an hour or two rest in the bedroom, I get angry and mad. Because my child 's legs were resting in bed, I was bitten by something, and my feet were allergic to the legs and there were several holes. So, the bedding was dirty and the cleanliness was a mess. I just wonder how these hotels will continue to earn the reputation of the best hotels and receive the expensive accommodations. Last night I was bitten by bed bugs and finally moved to the room.

As a platinum premiere great place for a getaway weekend or a special event. Morton's across the street even makes the property a must visit.

One of the best resorts I had been to in years, the working staff were just so tremendous, Juan Murrieta, Graciela (food service) Maricela Arias (house keeping) and a bartender by the name of Juan were just tremendous with their customer service and support skills. I will definitely go back and visit this resort. Overall just a wonderful week at this resort.

I have been a lifelong JW Marriott fan and always take great pleasure in their outstanding service, amnesties, and staff. I have been referring people to their resorts for quite some time now; however, after experiencing this location, I can firmly state I will not be returning. To start, they moved us three separate rooms in a matter of a day due to spotting unsanitary things such as cockroaches and lack of cleanliness.

Furthermore, after addressing the issue upon checkout, I was greeted by their manager Jonathan that had the audacity to berate me in front of other guest in the lobby. Henceforth, his lack of cordialness and poor attitude shows the lack of professionalism and the low standard they hold their employees let alone managers to.

The resort is amazing except the valet area parking they use is rude and service people like a cheap motel

My wife and I stayed here for our 35th wedding anniversary and will definitely be returning. What an amazing experience.

Great vacation spot, awesome pool and sport activities

This the hotel we go every year for the BNP paribas tournament. This year they screwed up our booking, I called to confirm that we arrive late and we have a room with 2 queen beds. When we got there thay said they were overbooked and they put us in the back of the hotel the "motel6 " section dingy and far far from the entrance (my husband is handicap). The beds were full size and we barley fit in- with my 2 kids- there for the night. They promised to move us to a better room, didn't happen. So we left and went back to L. A. WE PAID $800 A Night (they charged us for both nights) FOR A STINKY ROOM. NEVER AGAIN

This place is awesome. They have wild animals throughout the whole entire hotel as far as pink flamingos, toucans, swans and geese. The hotel has the 18-hole golf course and a nightclub for the nightlife called Costas Nightclub. Great place to stay for the weekend or a conference for your business or even a wedding reception.

The carving stations and egg stations were great, but the desserts were gorgeous and yummy!

Location is convenient, rooms are clean and spacious, service couldn't be better! The resort is beautiful and everyone is always helpful and cheerful.

The boat ride and the exotic birds make this a fun place to visit.

We chose a very busy memorial weekend to visit so queues for boat were ridiculously long and couldn't get a sunbed around the pool! Otherwise you have an amazing property. We chose the wrong time to visit. Also Tim at the spa pool was amazing. He took good care of us and we went early to have a quiet area to swim.

Great atmosphere. Has a Starbucks inside, but it closes EARLY! Has a great bar area!!! Rooms and bathrooms nice and roomy. Parking seems a bit disorderly. Not enough handicap spaces.

To further elaborate, I was told by a guest I was going to visit there that they went to get me a parking pass and they were told it did not matter and there was no monitoring of parking.
When I got there, all handicap was full except for one unmarked space, near handicap and 20 Minute Parking. Who needs 20 minutes at a hotel?? So I parked in the unmarked space. Unmarked spaces can't be enforced.

Because it was night and dark, I wanted to make sure there wasn't any signs I missed. I did not want to be towed. So I called from a hotel phone and spoke to a young, unsure sounding male, who told me that even unmarked that is ALL 20 Min Parking and I would receive a fraction (fine) from Loss Prevention. I explained all the Handicap Parking was full and I could not walk far. He stated I needed to park in the parking structure, which is a far walk. I told him if I'm being forced to park over there that the hotel better provide me with a gold cart to bring me back and forth. He said he would have to talk to Loss Prevention. He never asked my name and never stated how he intended to get back with me, THEN hung up. So I had to walk all the way back downstairs from 4th floor and go talk to Valet. I spoke to Nicholas, who told me he was the supervisor and no one would touch my vehicle and I was fine. All that drama from a young employee who gave me hard time. Marriot needs to better train their employees on how to be more helpful to visitors.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and accommodating personnel

Absolutely beautiful main lobby, hard to resist sitting and enjoying the view for a bit. Food and drinks at the bar makes for a good spot to catch up with friends. Highly recommend coming in!

This site is very pretty, but since I did not stay at location I can't rate it 5 star. Next time I'm in the area I will try and swing by.

You literally don t have to step out for anything, this resort has it all, shopping, food, night club(this is a little boring though). It s the best place for a nice relaxing vacation.

Beautiful and expansive resort with golf course all around.

The resort is great for a medium between a party resort and a family resort on summer weekends. Great choice of restaurants and great room service. The spa is also top class. Can't wait to come back!

Room was newly remodeled, food was great, fitness facility was clean and had lots of equipment, hotel staff was top notch. We will definitely be back!

I had a great time at the Marriott! Shopping was fun, and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast at the Rockwood Grill...and our server Cayla made it fun! She's the best! Such a fun person to brighten our day and she took great care of us!

We had the worst stay at this JW. The rooms were what you'd expect for a $150 a night room, outdated. The lobby is a long walk from the room. The resort is so massive, there was no easy in and out to your hotel room so if you are going to drink and have fun, prepare to sober up for the walk home to your room. They locked us out of our room
twice and then one time they said they pinned our door shut because we didn't sign an EA waiver (which we signed when we first got there and then another time). AWFUL. I wouldn't recommend. Bad service.

Place is fine. Had a nice dinner Tues in the rest. Arrived back after a long day for dinner on Wed., and were turned away due to a private party....we were not told this in advance. Problem is we can't drive at night, no other dining options available, VEEY unhappy!

Awesome spot for relaxation, good drinks and bites at the bar...plus Friday and Saturday entertainment. Ask for Carmen or Gerardo they are awesome.

The Rockwood Grill was a delicious place to eat. The staff and employees every where were fantastic. However the bathroom floor in our room was disgusting. Had the front desk send someone up to clean it. They cleaned everything but the floor! Ended up putting towels on the floor to cover the dirt. For that price, you shouldn't have to put up with someone else's dirt.

Large property on a virtual oasis in the desert. The JW Marriott is a sprawling property with large hotel, indoor lagoon, restaurants, shops, and a lively bar. The rooms are large but a little dated. Mine had a large sitting area, spacious bathroom, and large patio. The decor in the rooms (bedding, carper, art, desk, and other amenities are what were dated). The staff is very helpful and eager to assist with anything you might need and were very friendly.

Everything you want in the desert in one place! Golf, Bars, food, sushi, club, great pool scene, villas, free shuttle.

The rooms look cozy. The bar was full. Great atmosphere. Under renovation.

There were a few bumps but when front desk manager Justin asked how my trip was, he sincerely was interested in my statement and how we could remedy it which was very much appreciated.
