The pools are so beautiful, albeit a little too busy on the weekends. The lobby bar is chic and the perfect vantage point for some people watching.
Take the gondola ride around the resort for an entertaining haunt hearing about the black swans imported from Australia! For those of you who are of a certain age- you may recognize this place as the hotel that Jessie Spanno s dad from SBTB ran and invited the gang there for his wedding to the fitness instructor hehehe.
Convenient lobby Starbucks on site for that morning cup of Joe! I highly recommend Fisherman s Landing for dinner.

Had our company Christmas brunch. We were having fun and alittle loud so they shut the sliding doors with no air ventalation kept having to ask for water and never seen the breakfast area of the buffet until ready to leave. Disappointed
Beautiful grounds. Meeting facilities were nice, no complaints. Easy parking. Good service. On site restaurant I went to was excellent. Don't play golf myself but the course looked great.
After arriving, stayed for about an hour and left the hotel. Did not feel comfortable being there. I had booked the hotel for 3 days, and they wouldn't give me a refund or even credit for the other 2 nights, as I didn't expect a refund for all 3 days. Gorgeous grounds, very friendly staff, just don't agree with their no-refund policy!
There was a cost for EVERYTHING. Thought I'd get charged to breathe. The pool was supposed to be "heated" but it's only at 82 degrees. The bathrooms are pretty, but not functional. I could hear EVERYTHING my friends were doing. I heard my nephew picking his nose. The fans were also not effective as you could smell everything for hours. The Starbucks also is pathetic. Would only stay here again if I get paid to. Staff was kind and the views were cool
Outstanding service and friendly staff. We stayed 4 nights had good food and drink with nice rooms. Pool cabana staff was amazing. Beautiful resort highly recommend!
A great hotel with large rooms and luxury. There is bar in large lobby connected to pond in site, and atmosphere is good. The scenery was also wonderful.
Best hotel in the world with the best service. Every year i look back on my stays and this is the one that always pops out. It is very pretty with the water and the boat rides are very nice. The lobby is the best part though. I always come on Christmas and they have huge decorations and a huge tree.
Ughhhhh literally the best massage I've ever gotten. The sauna and steamroom and jacuzzi and pool before hand got me perfectly in the mood and then I literally had the best massage of my life. I think her name was Melanie so ask for her! I'm sure they are all great though but she really was mind blowing I miss her already.
This hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer free boat rides to the restaurants or just a trip around the lake. They play music during the boat ride which made it more special. Rooms had a mini fridge. They offered various activities for 4th of July.
Great room and amenities. Very quiet. Nice kitchen and private patio or balcony. No restaurants or shops within walking distance. We even had to drive to the ice machine.
Had a fantastic experience! One of a the few hotels where they treat you like a king! Have some great activities for kids to do, mini golf, and lots of tasty vegan options at their buffet and restaurant locations.
We love going to the JW. They have such great amenities and the staff pays attention to you. Great food and other activities to do while you're enjoying your stay.
We were staying nearby in the Marriott owner suites and We came to the JW and planned to take the little boat over to the Japanese restaurant. As we were leaving the dock and exiting the building the sliding door closed and the boat crashed into the door. We were all jilted and the driver of the boat forced us all out of the boat to make sure we were all okay. We were quite late at this point for our reservation and they took our names and room numbers so they call us and talk and we headed over to the restaurant. As we were late, we then had to sit around about another 40 minutes before we got into a table. A big inconvenience and not even an apology. The food was greAt. We went home.
My mom is recovering from surgery and when we hit the door, she snapped her neck to see what happened and it hurt her neck as she just doesn t have the stability or strength to protect herself. As a normal person would. When they called her, they accused her of faking it and belittled her. I can tell you, we spent a lot of time in our room as she wasn t feeling up to doing much for a few days. She wasn t asking for anything and just wanted them to care but they treated her like some criminal out for a buck. I m pretty disgusted as this was all their fault and they should have treated her better.
They never bothered to call me at all so clearly the safety and well-being of their visitors is not a concern. I wasn t hurt at all but the fact that they treated my mom like that and didn t even care to follow up with me speaks volumes of the management there.
Pretty crappy treatment and management in my books. Two thumbs down!!
One of the best resorts to stay in Palm Springs area. The rates compare to the service that they provide is acceptable. This place has good area inside to just sit and relax and also nice pool and spa to enjoy. One of the things is not appreciated here is the parking spots that they assign and their parking lot. They need to improve the parking area.
We came here to hit range balls were very happy we did. The staff was helpful and extremely friendly. The hotel it's beautiful and looked like an amazing place to stay. The next time we're in palm springs, this will be our place to stay
Event staff has been great. Only problem I've seen was during the meals, the wait staff wasn't as attentive to tables as I've seen at other events with resetting seats and drinks.
We have an annual golf tournament at this place every year. Great service. Great surroundings. Nice golf courses awesome pool very highly recommended may be a bit pricey but if you look at the big picture it's well worth it
My family and I visited this resort to have dinner at the Mikado, but we arrived an hour prior to our reservation to enjoy the property. Our kids loved seeing the different birds including flamingos, macaws, swans and ducks, but they especially enjoyed the free boat ride around the lake. We had a lovely tour, followed by drinks at the bar and a teppanyaki dinner at Mikado. We had a lovely evening and can't wait to return!
Just Amazing, Very Expensive but Extensive, 3 pools, huge bar, rooms are okay... You can ride a boat around the LAKE surrounding you room, and the lobby is a deck of boats (small)
Shrimp po'boy sandwich was great. Only drawback was no coolers on cart and no cart girl. We had dry mouth most of the round. Course was in very good shape for off season.
Very well managed, very personable staff. Clean rooms, great service, great views, incredible golf course, my first ever hole in one..... nothing else I can say. One of the best places I have ever stayed. 53 years old & have stayed at really nice place in my travels!!
I got a room that was far off that we had to take 2 elevators to get to the room. The view from the balcony was really nice since you can see the little lake and the golf course. Overall the stay was good but in the morning we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Also the bathroom toilet seat wasn't properly cleaned.
Nice place. lobby entrance, location. The problem I have is the rooms are very small the hallway smells old the sofa bed is dirty stained, the swimming pool is too small could no do anything with the kids constantly bumping into people. The food service was the worst took forever to come around and forever to bring food or drinks and when we finally got the food the bread on my kids hot dog was hard mine on my hamburger was hard as well and for the price you expect alittle better a let down for us as we went based on all the good ratings definitely not a good experience
Beautiful Hotel. Very spread out and parking is far from the rooms so difficult if you aren't a great walker. But otherwise very nice rooms and good restaurants. A little out of the way and not that easy to find. GPS took us opposite direction on final street to the Marriott, so that didn't help. A little difficult getting into Palm Springs from there also, at least if you are not familiar with the area.
Great place for a winter vacation or weekend. We had 4 rooms for 3 families and 14 people. High temps in the high 70's over Christmas. Great sightseeing and hikes in the desert especially if you drive to Joshua Tree. Popular, so make your dinner reservations in advance especially for large party.
Love this place. My son has been working there a long time, and its a really nice hotel. Beautiful inside and out. The rooms are big, go during off season n prices are great. If u can stand the desert heat!
Love this hotel and the pink flamingos that live there. Great Japanese steak house on premises, my four year old grandson loves the Duffy boat rides and swimming pools, and we all had a blast.
Customer service via phone is exceptionally slow. I have been on hold for 19 minutes so far. I'm not hanging up merely because I want to see how far this will go before someone takes me off hold. This is not a good precedent for my upcoming visit. Boo Hoo JW!
Excellent place to rest, all the facilities of this Marriott are huge, the places to rest, to chat, take some pictures, it is true that this place is very big, not for nothing do the big stars and artists stay here, no doubt you have I would visit this place to delight all your tastes. Love this place. Everything about it is special. We've been going every year for the past 10 years. The staff is great. The suits are always in like new condition. We travel a lot and this is one on the nicest resorts.
