Great staycation. Nice rooms, great staff, fun pools. Lots and lots of events for kids (water balloons, s'mores, ping pong, jumbo jenga, and tons more). We will definitely be back for another staycation.

Amazing resort with multiple pools and a wonderful lazy river. Very nice conference and meeting rooms, delicious food, great gift shop, relaxing spa and Starbucks. The restaurants in the resort are also fantastic, as was my room, and all employees were pleasant and helpful. I had a very positive experience here!

The service here is amazing! The front door staff are always smile, will give a high-five and plan with children while adults load the car. The front desk staff helps in every way possible and the wait staff is also wonderful. The resort itself is beautiful including the rooms. But even as beautiful as the place was, the best part was still how wonderful the staff was! I want to go back!

Great resort for business functions. Layout was great and gym was experience was ideal. I would have liked to have participated in some of their fitness classes but they didn t work with my schedule. Also went across the street to a really cool downtown strip. Also mall nearby if you forgot anything for your trip. Sunrise/set were awesome and and golf course was spectacular!

In past years we've gone to view the Christmas displays at JW Marriott. NEVER again. Not only was the display unimpressive, you basically cannot bring a car on the property without paying for parking. When we were there the lot had a lot of open space and a car was behind us and we couldn't back up. I will not ever go back or promote this local business to friends. We asked about validation but they only do that if you buy something at their bar or restaurant. If you're going to promote a Christmas display, mention the price of admission (parking). It would have been worth it if the display waa nicer. I will NOT be back. Ever.

Loss prevention might be their weakness. Left my one of a kind, hand sewn neck pillow from China. Wasn't turned in and no one really cared much. Very frustrated. This pillow cannot be replaced. About to cry right now. I will basically never see my unique pillow again.

Amazing staff - from the valet attendants and bell hops to the concierge and housekeepers, everyone was accommodating and so helpful. We stayed here for a bachelorette party and were so amazed at how beautiful the grounds were. We live in Phoenix and had never been to the hotel before, but were very impressed with the view. I'd stay here again for sure - its great for couples, small families and groups.

We went on probably one of the busiest days of the year and still had superb service at the pool. Nick bartended for us all day. He was so helpful. And makes excellent cocktails. A young woman who was the supervisor I believe helped me with my special needs children by taking them into the restroom and helping them change into their suits. They are too old to come into the mens restroom and I had my four year old with me. She turned what was inevitably going to be a stressful situation into a stress free day! I couldn't have asked for a better father's day.

Lovely resort. The spa treatments were relaxing. The JWGriffin club is worth the money. Good restaurants even if you are vegetarian. We managed well with an omnivore and a vegetarian. Great views and pools

Visited the JW Marriott for a work event. The large volume of participants was handled well by the staff. The ballrooms were clean and well maintained. There were a few technical issues, but the staff was readily available and able to assist.

Another great stay! Really great place to have a reward night! Huge water park/hot tub area. Lots of aminities and great service! Plenty of options for on-site dining. Unfortunately all the times we've been here have been short stays on business, so we haven't been able to enjoy everything. Will be back!

I stayed here for a conference. This place is beautiful and massive. They have a lazy river, great food, and there is a shopping center just steps away. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We traveled to the JW Marriott in Desert Ridge mid February for a weekend getaway. The weather in Phoenix did not disappoint! The pool area and lazy river was crowded by noon. I attended two totally exhilarating spa treatments. We enjoyed our dinner at the famed steakhouse in the resort. My favorite part of the meal were the delicious pork bellies. We took giant pieces of cheesecake back to our suite for dessert. The next morning our brunch was one of the best meals I have enjoyed away from my own kitchen. Definitely go to relax, enjoy the best Arizona has to offer, and splurge on yourself.

I was only on site v fire 2 hours for a company event but the staff was friendly and helpful whenever asked and very professional and nondisruptive about the work they were doing within the groups (like taking out the trash or bringing in refreshments)

A very clean facility and an overall very nice place. Everything extra is considered "upgrades" here and they charge more for these services (spa/sauna,specific pool areas etc.) The gym was included with my stay and has alot of good equipment.

Get the prickly pear margaritas. They are delicious and worth the $$$ for one. We make them now at home for any friend or family gathering. We enjoyed our time at this location. We stayed in the villas but did come over to the hotel pool and got a Cabana for one day. I loved the atmosphere of both locations. The food at the bar area was good. The pools were very nice. The earlier you arrive the better your seats will be. We really enjoyed the center area at the villas where you could play games and grill. We will be back for sure.

If you have four people in your family and are trying to get a suite, I would stick with the standard room. Even though the suite has a king bed, and the biggest bathroom ever, the pullout bed is just springs and a sheet. It was really uncomfortable for the kids. Other than that, the pools are great and the lazy river there is so great for the kids or relaxation. I recommend staying here for a vacation getaway.

Best Resort we've ever stayed at & it was because of the amazing staff. Except for one kind of snotty bartender in Roy's Restaurant on the night before we left, the staff @ JW far exceeded our expectations.
The little girl in me couldn't get enough of the Lazy River floating pool I will go back for that

One of the best hotel in town. This hotel close to 101 and 51 freeway. This is one of the five star hotel in Phoenix Arizona. From airport to the hotel cost you $55 to $60 in taxi cab. This hotel have a golf course. This hotel room was very very nice. I love this hotel but it's a little expensive. For the corporate meeting is very very good place.

Excellent! Beautiful! I went there for the Cancer Survivor lunch on Friday, 10/5/19. The staff was unbelievable. The Jamaican server set a great example on friendliness, professionalism, and someone who genuinely enjoyed his job. Food was also delicious.

Clean rooms with a nice but limited room service menu. Great golf course, but due to AZ heat, you won't use it much unless very early in the day. Large and well managed conference facilities.

Staff failed to clear my dinner plate, while my table all had their dessert. We had to flag wait staff down to remove the plate. They dropped the dessert plate abruptly in front of me. Causing the person next to me to look over and up at the wait staff. It was as though I had caused an inconvenience to them regarding them failing to clear the plate. My fork had been placed in "I'm finished position". It was obvious I was no longer eating. We were with the small medical group.

This is a very beautiful hotel with an amazing pool area and views from every room. It's a huge hotel so hopefully your room isn't far from an elevator.
Also don't get the buffet breakfast, I know it sounds like a good idea, but it's a lot of money for a very unwhelming spread. It's way better to just order from the kitchen.
The bar has a lot of good appetizers and a good place to stop before you go out. It's a bit far from Scottsdale but if you're looking to get away then this is a hotel for you. The staff is also very nice and helpful.
They have new racquetball courts that seem very fun. Wasn't able to check it out but looks like a great afternoon activity.
