One of my favorite hotels in the world! The design and location are quintessential Scottsdale Resort with plenty of on-site amenities from golf course to lazy river, enormous spa to a FedEx and Starbucks... Giving very few reasons to leave once you've arrived!

Wonderful resort with plenty of food choices, and bars. Exceptional for conferences, and meetings. Golf course on the premises which I did not get a chance to experience but heard good things about it. Thebrooms are very nice, and comfortable. You may not want to leave the room. The only downside for me is the fee for valet parking. I tip very well, so at the end of my stay I was surprised to discover that I was charged in addition to my $10 in and out.

NEVER STAYED AT THIS HOTEL - NEVER MADE A RESERVATION AT THIS HOTEL.

Yet my credit card was charged for over 300.00 on October 23, 2018.

When I called to talk with the hotel, they refused to look into the fraudulent charge and they refused to refund my money.

Lydia was rude and ignorant.

Joel the manager just hung up on me. When I called back he hung up on me again.

The reception desk was so great and had fantastic recommendations for dinner and what to dk with the kids. The lazy river and slide are a must for the kids, while the brand new cabanas poolside are a fantastic splurge if you want the best in locatikn and service. Great Job Marriott! We will be back again soon!

So the resort is nice but I got chewed up in bed by either bed bugs or some unknown sabertooth cricket. The staff was very attentive to the problem but never found anything. Even if handicapped dont rent that room. Its way to small and may have critters. Staff was top notch!

Excellent hotel with stunningly beautiful views and great restaurants. No platinum level room upgrades, no platinum concierge access. Rooms were OK. The 5 AM wake up from the employee using a hammer drill in the room above us was unexpected. Roy s restaurant was great as always and our seven-year-old love the lazy river and the pool amenities. Make sure to tour the cactus garden and the herb garden while you are here. We were fortunate to be here on Easter morning and the staff did a wonderful Easter egg hunt for the kids. As a platinum Marriott member I have high expectations of the service available and the service was average but we will definitely stay at this hotel again, even with the hammer drill wake up.

What a great weekend we had at this resort. We planned our trip with our neighbors to celebrate our daughter's 6th birthday; there was a minor snafu arranging our accommodations; nothing major at all. A day before our trip Dominic P. called to apologize for the inconvenience, asked where we were coming from, why we were coming, etc. Very nice guy. Upon our arrival, it seemed everyone at the resort knew my daughter's name and that it was her birthday. 'You must be Emma, I hear it's your 6th birthday. Happy Birthday'...over and over again. It was incredible and made her so happy and special (which she is!). They also delivered a cart of cookies and milk to our room as a birthday gift and decorated our cabana with balloons. We can't say enough about the staff at the hotel and at the cabana (Brittany and Victoria rock!) We can't wait to visit again. Thank you Dominic for everything!

Melon salad needed a little salt to bring out the flavor, if you don't have salt on the table you need to get it right, had the fish trio the portions of ahi and butter fish were very small the salmon was a bit bigger, all were cooked correctly and tasted good, the rice was served on a seperate plate which made mixing with the sauces akward, the bok choy side consisted of one leaf, must be running low. Dessert was ok they did a great job making scratch creme brulee taste like instant and the pineapple thingy was the high light of the evening, if I was headed home from a winning time at the casino and my car broke down out front I would think about stopping in for a bite.

I have stayed at many JW Marriott resorts and they have all been great. I would give this one six stars if I could because of Michael Miller the food and beverage manager for the property. My wife an I wanted to complement the chief on fabulous meal but he was busy getting out all the other tables. Michael came over instead and we had a great conversation about the food and service. What he did for my wife and I was truly amazing. I want to thank him so much for what he did. Thank you Michael.

This hotel is fantastic. I stayed in June 2015 for a girl's trip and had phenomenal service. The staff went out of their way to make our trip perfect. I decided to come back in January 2016 with my husband for our "Babymoon" and have experienced the same exceptional service. I absolutely love this resort. The spa and accommodations are outstanding. I can't wait to come back!

I stayed on a business trip and the accommodations and service were wonderful. It's all a bit pricey, but that's how these large resorts are. That said, it was reasonably priced compared to other similar places. Pool was great, room service was super and the food and atmosphere were very nice. I would definitely recommend this for business travel. Superb.

WARNING: If you book a stay at this hotel their cancellation policy requires that you cancel SEVEN days before arrival or you will be charged. Most hotels allow you to cancel up to a day before arrival. Clearly Marriott doesn't care about customer service or making a good impression on their members. Not worth returning.

My friends and I stayed the weekend before the 4th of July and the staff was welcoming and so helpful. The rooms we stayed in were great for the 4 of us anand my toddler. We all enjoyed the lazy river and pools and even though it was practically a holiday weekend it wasn't overly crowded. We're already planning our next stay.

Went to Roy's Restaurant for an appetizer and a cocktail. Was seated by the window. Had fun and exciting time watching a Monsoon storm. Service was great. Food was outstanding. Facilities are getting a little dated and need a facelift.

2017 MASTERs Conference. Great venue, extremely spacious and accommodating. Friendly and hospitable staff. Conference food is decent and plentiful. Resort has a few restaurants and bars, a pool, and a lazy river (small bit nice). Down the street from the hotel is a Plaza that has fast food, groceries, supplies, shops, and much more.

I figured with all the shining reviews this location would be better than what I experienced. The room itself was great, bed was comfortable but the pillows much too soft.

The shower was easy to find a comfortable temperature, and the room had a couple of complimentary soaps but greatly lacking compared to other Hotels for less money.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, but the room service food was really bad. Presentation of the food was nice but had next to no flavor.

My pool side room was over 200$, my in room meal was $40+ and if you want actually usable wifi you'll need to pay 15 dollars per day. If you are looking for a morning breakfast, that will be an extra $30+ for mediocre food.

I've been to many other Hotels that offer much much more in room services and quality of life items for extremely less out of pocket.

I wouldn't recommend this location unless you are really really pressed for time.
