Wonderful place for a Staycation! They also have plenty of room for banquets and meetings. Very nice place. Every year an organization I volunteer for has an event there.
The building is really nice. The rooms are a little small considering the cost. Thereb seems to be plenty of things to do at the resort and nearby.
Amazing location, resort and amenities. Pools are amazing and so is the food. Room was awesome with amazing views.
While this resort should get 5 stars for its beauty and location, service seems a bit "iffy" for this Marriott. Waiter unattentive at dinner, valet mistakes, front desk confusion add up to a less than perfect experience.
Very pretty resort. Was here for a conference. The food and service was good.
Excellent facilities, very clean and with good service, your food of very good quality
It's a beautiful, breathe taking facility. Great for families, and couples. Everything is very clean. Like any higher quality resort, everything seems to come with a cost.
Beautiful suites on a beautiful setting. Very accommodating staff. Good food at the restaurants and room service. Overall a wonderful experience.
I had a great time here. Staff was very friendly the rooms where very clean and the service was up to standards most deff would visit again.
This place is awesome! Clean nice and all the amenities you could ask for in a resort.
Very nice facilities, polite and helpful staff, but a little pricey
Was there for the LPGA tourney for the last day. Did not stay in the hotel. Only walked the course for the tourney.
Beautiful rooms and I love the lazy river! Highly recommended.
Nice grounds and usually a nice experience, however last night it was overrun with conference attendees and Roy's was closed for a private event. Maybe better luck next time.
Beautiful, well kept resort with clean rooms and nice landscaping and amenities
I would have given this a five star but they made one of the pools private, meaning a pay pool in that you join a club to use it. Another way to re market part of the facility for additional money, like the resort fees that provided marginal amenities
The hotel was nice. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the TV in the room had an easy access HDMI. The bar was probably the only minor detraction. It was not clear when there are only bartenders and when there are servers who will come get your order. The amenities at the hotel were very nice. Unfortunately it was too hot to enjoy much of the outdoor attractions.
Was a wonderful experience. We went for my husbands work event. Very professional staff.
Great facilities. Two great golf courses. Great restaurants. Fun for both singles and familiars
Clean and FRESH self parking close enough to use. Best resort/convention center I have been to in quite a while.
The hotel is kid friendly, the pools are wonderful and the staff is very courteous. The rooms are nice and you are unable to hear surrounding noise, while in your room. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the location is right off the freeway making access easy. Room service menu could have more options and not be so pricey. Having to pay 15 dollars for Internet daily is outrageous.
The Best Resort in all of Phoenix,Arizona by far. From Connie the Executive assistant all the way to the bellman Aaron who have been with the hotel forever! They are all great!! So many things yo do here for the family. They have a lazy river as well. Great golf and tennis. Thank you again Connie for your follow up and help in coordinating my 3 kids. They love the night time Smores including me))) lol
A few months ago I was looking for a nice hotel with a good pool for a staycation. I looked into the top locations around Phoenix and checked everything from reviews, to prices, to the dreadful hidden resort fees. We all know about those! I was pleased to see that the JW had the best price. Not only was there resort fee at least $15 dollars cheaper but their overall price best out all of the competitors. I booked 2 weekday nights and was so happy I did! Not only did we get an incredible view but we also got upgraded to some really nice cabana seats for free! We enjoyed every second we could going from pool, to the lazy river, to the water slide. It was awesome. When inquiring about late checkout so we could continue using the amenities, I used the easy and convenient app in which they said no problem- complimentary 1 pm check out! Score!!!! That meant another 80 times down the water slide. ;) I was so pleased with everything from the comfortable beds, amazing service, beautiful grounds that I can't wait to come back in the future! 5 stars for the JW! We will be back!!!
This hotel is gorgeous. Amenities and service are great.
Awesome hotel with all amenities for corporate gathering or for family and located right at Scottsdale
This is a great place to stay for a weekend staycation. We live in Gilbert and love to do a weekend trip here and there during the summer. The JW is one we do every summer. The rooms are nice and service great.
Staff is great, very helpful. This hotel is VERY nice
The resort is enormous. Lots to do and haven't left the hotel due to amenities. Staff are great. It just takes forever to walk from place to place.
Was visiting a friend attending a business conference. The facility is first class. One of my favorite places in Phoenix to visit.
Front desk staff and cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. Lazy river is amazing. Starbucks in the hotel is more expensive than other Starbucks. The room is clean, but a bit outdated for the regular price of this hotel - luckily we had a dicounted room due to a family member working for Marriott. The mattress is a bit firm for my taste, not a huge deal in normal circumstances, but I was pregnant during our stay and the mattress definitely made sleeping more difficult for me.
Great resort but rooms are starting to look a bit tired. Checkout process is very slow and inefficient.
Absolutely excellent service. Everyone from the valets to the room service was phenomenal. Great area in town. Would recommend.
Love Desert Ridge! They treat me and more importantly my daughter vertical well
I did in my 20-year High School reunion there and it was a great event.
Wonderful place for a conference. Food and service above par. Went out of their way to make everything right.
Ate at Roy's Hawaiian fusion restaurant. Great place, resort is huge nice golf course and pool. Close to shopping and many other stores too.
Went to Roy's for our anniversary dinner. Fantastic food. The banana ice cream was AMAZING!
We are in Arizona visiting, so my cousin decided to take us here for breakfast. The hotel was beautiful, but the service was lacking. The breakfast buffet was closed so we sat to order. Our waitress Connie didnt pay attention to us. When she was going around the 7 person table, she skipped me and my cousins order. We also had to wait a while to get decaf coffee and the shade pulled up. She didnt bring our foods. She just came at the end for the check. It seemed she wasn't there at all. The food was good. The other person that helped us was a busy boy named yuel. He refilled our water and moved our table to cover the sun for us. The wait was a bit long. Also I had the chicken and biscuits. The chicken was fried thin on top of biscuits and gravy.
Really enjoyed our stay! They took great care of us.
Stayed there for official reason (seminar), hence, do not have experience on cost or facilities.
As always we enjoy the JW Marriott. This is the seventh or eighth visit and it justs gets better each time.
Great, clean, beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable! Came to Dental Success Summit and was absolutely lovely and next time we will make time to visit pool area that was just gorgeous!
I went there to deliver some packages. To find the place to drop them off was kind of tough but once I found someone to help he was really friendly and walked me to the receiving area and they also were very kind helpful and patient
A fantastic resort. The grounds are amazing. Places to see, sit, hear music and eat!
This is a large and beautiful facility! Great amenities and help staff! Ample parking, golf course and restaurants and so much more!
This resort is beautiful. The staff was amazing. The service second to none. There is so much to do that you don't have to leave the resort if you don't want to. They have several wonderful restaurants, a Starbucks, a gift shop, an amazing spa, golf, trails, several pools, and so much more. Our suite had amazing views where we could watch the sun rise right from bed.
I played golf at the Marriott's Wildfire Faldo course. I really enjoyed this course and the amenities. Thanks!
Gorgeous hotel & grounds and super friendly and helpful staff! Firepits are a wonderful touch & many great onsite dining options.
Had company holiday party. .. Good staff good fun .. Fun times
A beautiful resort that feels far away from everything, but is really very easily accessible.
Stayed here for a business trip recently and while it was about 30 min from the airport it was a nice ride with lyft driver. The hotel seems huge, beautiful foyer when u walk in, and views of the mountains in the background. Rooms were very More
Great activities outside solid pool and perfect for the family
Just visited to play golf. The Palmer course was is pretty good shape for AZ in July. Fairways were a little patchy in places but nothing major. Fun course. Shot makers type of course. Greens rolled true but slow, cant cut them short this time of year, again AZ in July. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would go back next time in AZ.
Went for a work event. Not my cup of tea but a nice place for sure.
