My husband and I enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary. We got a city view room and the view was awesome! The room was comfortable, the hotel was nice, and all the hotel employees we spoke with were wonderful. If you need anything during your stay go see Preston, the concierge! He's great. He and the manager at the front desk helped my husband coordinate a sweet anniversary surprise. They pulled it off perfectly, I was so impressed! I will definitely stay here again.

Super helpful and friendly staff! I was there for a medical conference and am handicapped. They were wonderful and the being accommodating without assuming I was helpless or un able. Didn't draw attention to me but also not afraid to directly ask what help I needed or about my disease. It's a great location and the rooms are classic and beautiful. Very clean! I wish our conference was there every year!

$12.95 per day for internet (taken me 20 mins to write this as I had to start over with the spotty connection in the rooms) Ya I am still here one more day for this conference.
$30 per day to park?????? Are you joking?
When I booked over the phone I was told one thing and when I arrive everything changed. 4 day conference and they will only honor the special price for 1 day, they told me they are booked but still have a rooms left? after speaking to some of the locals attending the conference who are not staying at this hotel??? Why I ask? They look at me with surprise and say Marriot? I would never stay here we stay at the Hyatt now I know why. They have free parking and WiFI I will never stay at a Marriot again. They have lost my business. I don't travel often and this is the first time I have paid to use internet. NEVER AGAIN.

Nice hotel. A little dated. Our room had a great view of the downtown Atlanta skyline. The staff was quick to respond to requests. The hotel is connected to Lenox Square Mall. Great location with access to the MARTA train line

Panties on the floor from previous guest under curtains. Hot very hot at night. HVAC system was archaic. Otherwise staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Can not say enough good things about staff. I am used to the newer j.w. Marriotts so it may not be a far comparison.

Clean rooms with comfortable bed and enormous bathroom. Gym has an indoor pool, sauna, and lots of weight machines. The JW brand is near the top of the Marriott set of properties so your expectations should be met or otherwise accommodated by the staff.

This is nothing short of an embarrassment. This hotel not only falls incomprehensibly short of the JW brand, it s basically a run down dump. The room I was given clearly had smokers in it, and it must have been known since when I got to the door, it was held open by its bolt (presumable to air it out like a motel). The place is under construction but doesn t advertise that. It also still advertises a bar and restaurant, which it shouldn t because those are under construction. There is a make shift bar which consists of a conference room and a cooler, where you can order a $7.08 Miller Lite in a bottle while sitting in a weird conference room style chair while watching a wheeled-in TV into the awkward room. Obviously, this conference room doesn t cater to a bar or restaurant atmosphere but does meet the minimum level criteria to say you have a spot that can serve you a drink, similar to a Hampton Inn. There is no bar at which to sit. The mall area it is attached to is closed off. The area has become a ghost town. The building and rooms are dilapidated. This hotel should be burned down. But I will denounce my membership in Marriott for conning me into believing this $300/night low budget hotel has the JW brand. It s Marriott s biggest con.

They went over the top for the Peachtree road race. They lived up to their usual high standards then just added small touches that made it even better. Our a/c didn't work very well which has been an issue before, but everything else was great.

I cannot say enough about the JW Marriott in Buckhead. Everyone starting with Concierge, Rory Rule, were just awesome. So friendly and kind. Rory went out of his way to make my stay so memorable. The staff from the gentlemen who greet you at your car to the front desk personnel were wonderful. Breakfast in the Executive Lounge was great with an awesome view of Atlanta. I highly recommend the JW Marriott in Buckhead to any traveler. I will stay here on my next trip back.

Coffee maker didn't work. No fan in bathroom. Lamp next to bed burnt out. Doors close extremely loud in hallways waking you up throughout the night. Only 1 elevator was running the first Morning we were there...with a large conference group in attendance..took 5+ min to arrive on the 10th floor and then was completely full. Security guard blocked us in while trying to pull into garage, had to back out, let him out and then go back in...no apologies made by him. Staff let us walk thru glass that another guest had broken and they were just all standing around talking and didn't warn us til we were walking thru it. No fridge or microwave which is sad for a 4 star hotel to be lacking. Coffee stand in the lobby that serves Starbucks drinks served iced coffee as hot coffee poured over ice so essentially you just get a cup of watered down coffee...if they advertise Starbucks coffee and menu items, it should be the same standards. Overall, for the price, I would not return here. With such a huge selection of hotels in the area, we could have done much better. JW should have more attention to detail to keep them at the same standards of other JW's in the country.

Not a bad stay. They are completely lacking in any complementary coffee/tea in the room which I found to be off putting. The breakfast is decent but exceptionally expensive for the offering. The place looks nice, but it's not really worth the cost of the stay, or any of the amenities, given the amount of other places nearby.

The old lady is showing her wear. Rooms are a bit tired , towels thin, and HVAC has that old musty smell. For a 40 year old hotel it still is a great place to stay and a very good location. Marriott should spend some cash to update the rooms and bring this place back to life.

Expensive everything: breakfast, water, parking $24 a night. But room and bathroom was beautiful. Couldn't sleep because it's too noisy at night, but they waved one nights parking cause of it. Room didn't have simple hotel things like a microwave or mini-fridge or shower caps.

Booked this hotel through Expedia. They were rated to be a high four star hotel. I paid for valet parking, breakfast for two parties, and a deluxe room. The rooms are very old and outdated. The shower is extremely small, and the tubs are old and outdated. Nothing extravagant about the over priced rooms. The mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. I paid for breakfast for two, but was informed they didn t do dining in breakfast because of COVID and I would be charged for room service breakfast. I ordered room service that took an hour and a half to recieve.. The portions were extremely small and definitely not worth the price nor wait. My over all stay was not pleasing at all. Upon arrival my room key wouldn t work and whom ever they sent up to do repairs, just threw the battery pack on the floor and left it.. Hair was in the showers.. They need to reconsider the pricing for this establishment. I ve stayed at much cheaper with greater services.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location and excellent customer service. Whenever I visit a hotel, the main thing for me is customer service and this place does it right! There's nothing like being treated well and appreciated as a customer. One of the best!

Theo really came through for me when my wife was staying at their hotel and needed a little taste of home. She hates to be away from the family and needed a little reminder that I was thinking about her. Theo went above and beyond and helped me set up a little surprise for her.... and it was just the thing she needed. I am ever so grateful to JW Marriot for hiring someone like Theo. They truly broke the mold when they made him. THANKS THEO!!

Everything was exceptional (customer service, food, room, valet, amenities, etc.). I took my niece here for her birthday. I told them it was her birthday and when we left the room and returned, the chef and his team put gourmet treats in the room with a nice message! The location is perfect, the prices are reasonable and the staff is like no other.

They asked me if I need a receipt on checkout. I said I will prefer it to be emailed to me. I have called them twice after that, I haven t received my receipt for the 3 night stay. They send me feedback emails, so they have my email id. It s 2019 and which hotel takes 4 days to send a e-receipt?? This is not expected of a 4 star hotel. I should ve just taken the paper copy and added myself to people that don t care about environment! Apparently their accounts department is closed on weekend, so now I have to call them on Monday to request for a receipt.

Spent a week here for trade show in October 2016! Great friendly service. My only complain is the breakfast menu is exactly the same every morning for the entire time! Lol! It was complimentary though so I'm not really complaining. Just stating a fact.
